1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you open a Bitcoin account at your local bank? on: November 07, 2016, 11:31:54 PM
This would take away from anonymity, but may help the overall ecosystem because existing members may be influenced into moving some of their funds into BTC accounts. Also, what would happen if the bank ran full nodes? Offered BTC debit cards, credit cards, and loans?

I may use it to put a part from my bitcoin but what I have in mind is what is the difference between it and xapo or coinbase as mentioned above? If it offers a great advantage it might be useful otherwise I don't see a solid reason to hold my money there
1802  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Here we have it guys, the official presidential Election Poll 2016 on: November 05, 2016, 06:20:30 PM
This is like choosing to add salt or pepper to the sea's water.... Nothing will fix it...
Basically the same thing is happening right now in the US presidency... 3 days left before the end of the joke!
1803  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Italy’s Largest Taxi Fleet Accepts Bitcoin on: November 04, 2016, 10:51:42 PM
a good news but you put your topic in the wrong section, please move it to the press sub
and for the payment in bitcoin they are using Chainside described as a startup enabling businesses to accept bitcoin, something similar to Neteller using bitpay
1804  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-04] Did Chinese Rumors Crash the Bitcoin Price? How Accurate Are They? on: November 04, 2016, 10:47:13 PM
.... Bitcoin is a worldwide currency, a ban by a single country will not change that.

ya.ya.yo!

Except if the country accounts for about 1/3 of the world's population Grin.

China will not do anything that will hurt bitcoin for many reasons including the economic effects and it offers jobs even if it isn't that much, bitcoin is like a kind of peaceful nuke for them in my opinion Tongue
1805  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-02] Bitmain to Launch a Giant New Bitcoin Mining Center on: November 03, 2016, 08:48:57 PM
Good news! If Bitmain would offer cloud mining on their facilities it might be the first cloudmining which is not a scam. I would trust them at least, because it's hardly they would ruin their great reputation launching a ponzi scheme.

The problem about the cloudmining is not only about trustworthiness and the proof of mining activity, it is also about the ROI, what is the point of making a contract for a year then you will find that your ROI is a year!! You will absolutely make nothing
Also if you joined with a lifetime contract there is another thing that you need to keep in your mind is the maintenance fee which will rape what you earn.
The result after a year will be a joke.
We will see what Bitmain is planning for this center then we will judge if it worth the pain or not
1806  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Morroco: The people uprising 2.0 - How will the Russians spin it? on: November 03, 2016, 08:42:14 PM
Fact: fish trader bought swordfish. Official decided that the fish was not proper for human consumption. Fish trader opposed garbage truck and was killed accidentally by it. Giant manifestations ensue.
-snip-

From where you get this information?
Afaik the policeman ordered the guy running the garbage vehicle to kill him that's why there is protests.
To say that this isn't an accident at all, anyway i read that this case was referred to the judge.

really? The operator of the garbage truck obeyed and voluntarily killed the fish trader... a man that was opposing the destruction of his goods. Why? Because the cop ordered him to do it? I am little bit septical...

That's what I read from press and there is a #thing in the social media about it, something like crush his mother ~
for sure the story may change from a person to another but what happened is inhuman, just like what happens every day in other parts of the world  Undecided

1808  Other / Meta / Re: New services subforum for Signature Campaigns? on: November 02, 2016, 10:11:08 PM
Preferred to avoid posting here but seeing this topic popping over and over is frustrating.
As H&co said this topic was discussed many times before and no need to start a new one each month...
(i am not against the idea)
Until now just ctrl+f in the services pages then write signature and you will find the activite/new sig/cmp
Mitchell post is a good summary and in the last posts you will find the latest updated table and under it, comments from members about the modifications & new campaign.
Hope it is clear for all...

1809  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-11-02] Bitmain to Launch a Giant New Bitcoin Mining Center on: November 02, 2016, 09:56:02 PM
And to think people on this forum keep complaining that bitcoin mining is no longer profitable, guess it depends on who's talking.

Solo mining is getting harder especially after the halving and for sure after the next one and with a stable price..
For the giant companies it is another story maybe their profit is reduced a little especially when the price was $5xx but with 7xx it should be fine
In the other hand if the bitmain is serious about accomplishing this plan then if I am a competitor i should be worried
1810  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC keep rise again... on: November 01, 2016, 11:37:50 PM
It didn't take until the second week of November before 700 USD was crossed.   Grin
There are enough positive triggers for the bull run to continue. And this time, it might not be just a bubble.

Same for me too i was kind of surprised when i saw the price rise like that, we were barely -200 USD from what we are now before few weeks.
Amazing to see such a good movement but the price need at least to hold before saying wether it is a bubble or not  Wink
1811  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2016-10-31] Parliamentary Member in Ukraine Declares Bitcoin Assets on: November 01, 2016, 11:20:04 PM
Mr Alexei Mushak owns a total of 465 BTCs ($325,000), not bad for a politician  Wink
That was a courageous act from his side but we should say that his country is relatively opened for bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general, maybe it will be the leader of the crypto revolution
one would be wise to take ukrainian polititians declarations (both financial and political) with a pinch of salt
there is a member of parlaiment  who declared 1 trillion UAH =appr. 38bil $
after having been confronted he  said it was merely a  joke
http://en.news-original.ru/the-ex-commander-of-aydar-melnychuk-declared-39-billion.html
http://sevendaynews.com/2016/10/30/in-kiev-explained-the-declaration-of-38-billion-of-the-former-commander-of-aydar/

well the media and the guy cited here were kind of enemy so...who knows what is the truth!
sometimes i think that politicians in general and everything related to politics is a joke... a big one  Undecided
we will see how accurate this news later  Wink

Only checked the forum now, couldn't access for the last 12+ hours, more or less.

For me i couldn't connect from ~ 6 hours and i checked it several times.
The curious thing when i Google down for me or? 2 or 3 sites said that it is only me while another one failed to connect also here.
For the moment I can connect but it is a little bit slower
1814  Other / Meta / Re: Russian Political Posters on: October 30, 2016, 05:11:39 PM
I like to look around a variety of the boards here, but I have never seen such a consistent trend of one-sided spammers as I do when looking at the Politics section of the forum. I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions and should be free to share them. What I don't think acceptable is never altering your position based on the facts and discussions presented to you - this is just blind ignorance or biased propaganda.

That seems to be happening a lot in the politics section of the forum, where 9 of 10 posts are some weird twist on an event involving Russia or a jab at someone who is taking a stand against them. When you question these people, you are frequently ignored or personally attacked - without reasonable answers being acknowledged.

These usernames appear frequently, along with a few "smaller" accounts which pop up:

Masha Sha
BADecker
Sex Video Chat VKcams.com
Jet Cash
Vika NSFW

I don't really know the solution, but perhaps removing any post count from registering in the politics section would slow these people down or remove the incentive for a wall of one-sided political spam.

This is an old problem that is getting worse everyday especially after some new users (or alts) started posting (spamming) there.
Thoses people among others are consistently posting in 1 section which doesn't have anything to do with bitcoin. They don't belong here (most of them) and need to get redirected to another forums that share the same sick ideas that they adopt
1815  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: please , advice me on: October 29, 2016, 06:19:37 AM
if you have experience with cloud mining , please drag the link of cheapest and honest compeny and drop it here .
and what about hasheer.com .
So far with my experience what I can tell you is if you want to make a profit, be sure that you have atleast enough money to invest because a  10$ will not get you anywhere.
Most cloudmining companies tat you may came across are not legitimate so be careful and check their background first.
https://www.genesis-mining.com/ has been operating for a long time now but I am not encouraging you to invest unless you check their background first and check if they will suite your needs.

I want to add this to your sentence :
And you want to ROI somewhat forever (in the legitimate companies ofc) ...
The era of cloud mining is gone long time ago, now it is the era of cloud scamming
1816  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I convert my savings into Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2016, 07:50:49 PM
I am thinking in investing my savings into Bitcoin and try to get some profit when the price of BTC goes up, but is it actually profitable?

It is profitable in the long term in my opinion but i wouldn't recommend to convert all your saving to bitcoin at once.
better to split it and convert a part then increase the amount respectively with the earning that you will make Wink
1817  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Russia unveils 'Satan 2' missile on: October 27, 2016, 07:47:58 PM
The RS-28 Sarmat rocket "is capable of wiping out parts of the earth the size of Texas or France," Russian state news outlet Sputnik reported in May.

i read about it several times in the past few days, a cute propaganda but the best part is to mention that it could erase france or UK or even Texas from the earth, coincidence? Tongue
what will happens after few years/decades? satan 3 that could erase Europe? USA?
the end is so soon...

1819  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcointalk Account price estimator on: October 26, 2016, 11:48:56 PM
I don't think that we should allow people to sell accounts. Because most of them will go in to scamming i guess. unless i don't know whats the point to buy it

This isn't the main purpose of visiting the site i assume but people use it to take more informations about the accounts that they have an attention to buy, so your comments here isn't really on-topic...
1820  Other / Meta / Re: Negative trust comments are useless on: October 25, 2016, 07:26:02 AM
Negative trust comments are useless. If you start new topic in the forum and really want to help some forum members, forum members, which do not know nothing in various Bitcoin sites & markets or their knowledge is very limited, just send negative trust comments. In result, you will not post any new topic, because then you can have negative trust.  Angry

Promoting scam 'investment' offering "11200% In 30 Days" by way of asking senior members and up to pm him for details.

Highly likely just a desperate grab for cash seeing as he also makes sure to include a supposed limit of 29 participants, albeit requiring they make a minimum deposit of 0.16 Bitcoin

Deserved.
If you want to open a topic without getting a negative trust then open a legit one and try to help the users here with a real opportunities...
