1801  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Currency should be Integrated into School Curriculum on: October 25, 2022, 07:12:28 PM
Well, I don't wish to guess where all of you are coming from, but here where I live in Serbia Schools are one big shit show! If you don't learn something on a side, if you don't pay for private lessons, you will probably get a degree but with 0 knowledge! And that's not a big problem, with connections you can get a job, and you can even advance to higher levels! Of course, if you are in a political party that is in power or you have someone on your side! In case you know what you are doing you will probably hit the sails and move to some other country in the west that respect a man that knows his job!

And we come to a simple conclusion, why would schools adopt learning about crypto and freedom?! A free man can't be a slave...
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: October 25, 2022, 03:15:17 PM
For me the top peeve is when I am winning on a slot game and the system goes error, and prompts me to reload the page again.

It only means that you are using mediocre casino since they don't properly integrate there slot engine to there server. This problem is very rare to happened on current casino. If this kind of problem persists on your gambling session then you should change casino immediately because your casino didn't do quality assurance for there service.
...

This happened to me many times in many casinos... Pointing finger without all the facts is not nice. In my case, I think it's my computer or my network. Sometimes I simply open too many pages and my computer needs "deep cleaning" or even better I need to buy a new laptop, but every time I just postpone doing that, I like to think that in this way "I practice my patience"... and it's a bit annoying, but it's not a big deal, just refreshing a page and that's it.

Nothing can drive me crazy as support can, their ignorance (in some cases stupidity) can be on a really high level! Problems are something normal and can happen at any time for any reason, what's important is how we approach the problem, and how it's being handled... in many cases speaking with support was like speaking with some kid from school, without basic knowledge and even worse without any manners!
1803  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎁 BIRTHDAY for $1 000 000| Trip to Las Vegas & BMW M8 😎 on: October 25, 2022, 08:55:05 AM
Am I wrong, or shouldn't it mean that 400k to 5k is a solid number? I mean I have been in affiliate work all my life, and have been in crypto gambling affiliate world for over 6-7 years now if I am not wrong. So far, getting %1 of the deposits is not that bad, wagered is something tricky because you don't know if they won or lost, losing 400k and losing 10k but wagering 2.5+ million would be different results, hence it doesn't really tell you anything that they wagered, but looking at how much was deposit, and how much of it you got, that looks like good? If my affiliates deposited 400k, and I got 5k out of that, I would consider myself lucky to be fair, normally house edge is %1 anyway, and you are getting more than that from affiliates.

Maybe I am missing something, I wouldn't want to say anything bad about efialtis neither, he is a good dude, there could be some miscommunication or wrong math somewhere from either side, this just doesn't look too bad to me.

The affiliate program is currently under development. Like all our features, it will be cool and competitive. Now we are working with a referral system

Well, it's not just about the money and math... As we can see you (Betfury) made a unilateral decision to change the deal, without any notifications, just like that. You say you respect constructive criticism so why didn't you respond to this one? Because retroactively changing the agreement is definitely not right. And I would really like to hear how Effie tried to manipulate you. Smiley

Captain Corporate, I'm not sure if this is the right place for this discussion, but if you are in affiliate work all your life are you familiar with affiliate commissions in other crypto and fiat casinos? I saw some numbers and the difference is pretty big in some cases... I guess it's something you can check by yourself with a little googling!

And let's not mix affiliate and referral programs! Wink
1804  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Metaverse still a thing on: October 25, 2022, 05:41:57 AM
I think the metaverse will have a place in the future, but right now maybe the metaverse is not known to everyone, only certain people know about it, even though the VR hype already exists but this only applies to certain people, not for everyone.
let's wait until the time the metaverse will be known and understood by all circles

With the development of technology and the more digitally oriented people metaverse will probably find its place in the future, but I think we are still a decade (or more) from some working product that will be really interesting, that can offer more than what we have now.
For now, I see metaverse as some hype. And we all know that story, there are zillion projects around, and big words are coming from all of them, they are trying to take advantage of the hype to make some profit... but we all know that most of them will not survive the first months!
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you get over a bad loss? on: October 24, 2022, 02:15:52 PM
I remember being so lost when I lost a significant amount on gambling. It rekt my ego and happiness because I thought I was always going to win, and it's just never the case. That's a noob move, IMO, and that's okay since I learned from it. So when that happened, I coped using distraction. I played video games and spent time with family and friends. That's it, and that's how it's been when I experience a loss, not just in gambling.

It's best to understand how you will react to those effects and respect how you feel. Once you have accepted that you can't win all the time, it's an acceptance, and you can move on and move forward with yourself.

Well, I am pretty similar, after losing in gambling I always find something else to distract me from thinking about that... I also play some games, or I move from the computer, there's always something else to do. That also helps with an urge to deposit more. When I was younger and alone I had situations to deposit more and more after each loss until I empty my wallet... but I guess we all learn at some point to not "overdo it"! Now gambling is with an amount I can afford to lose, and if I lose my deposit I just chill it out... I will try again next week, or when I have some cash for sparing! Probably every loss is painful, but with some control, big losses can be avoided.
1806  Economy / Gambling / Re: BC.Game-🔴🔴🔴BET RED IN CRASH!🔴🔴🔴 Find More Unique Games! on: October 24, 2022, 09:01:23 AM
..
I deposited 800usd in eth and played only 4 hands with baccarat. All of the hands where Max bet and quickly had a balance of approx 12k.
...

Given the amount you want to withdraw, it seems pretty normal to me that they want you to verify your account and the verification process can take some days. Personally, I have cashed out a few times (a lot lower amounts than you) and never had any issues with it.

This is some serious gambling! From $800 to $12k in 4 hands, and all of them are max bets! Smiley

Well, KYC is pretty normal nowadays, especially when deposits/withdrawals are high! But they can ask for KYC for other reasons as well, I guess when you jump in and you win $10k in 4 bets they will search for some bugs or something.

There is a scam accusation board(https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0), you can make a thread there with all the relevant info you have (screenshots, transaction ids, betting history...), it would be easier for us to decide whom to trust if we see more than just your words! I think if you are a fair player this issue you have will be solved, good luck!
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network mining on: October 24, 2022, 06:24:58 AM
Then i was hearing about this Pi network my brother was as well mining using his smartphone through their app, i was like asking what is he doing that app he said is Pi, he even advised me to use his ref link to sign up. i didn't even show much concerning because i don't have the feeling for altcoin after my past experience with apps and mining ect.
Lastly I don't get that feeling of Pi network to over take bitcoin the king of all cryptocurrencies no way.

When we see "Many say that the Pi Network will overtake Bitcoin" it's just spam for marketing purposes... comparing some coins with top coins sound like it's the next big thing! It's not worth reading after that, the project that uses these strategies for advertising doesn't have anything good to offer, except big words in hope that people will check it out.

Pi network is around for years, and I don't believe they will be able to do anything serious in the future. It's not the only project with the "mining coins with smartphones" idea, and in my opinion all of them are not worth paying attention to!
1808  Economy / Economics / Re: Meta has burned $15 billion trying to build the metaverse on: October 23, 2022, 08:25:44 PM
Quite surprised to see more comments are negative about the technology, but myself I beleive it is really possible but not going to happen in very short time like in 18 months, it will take atleast 5 years to roll out the beta and the development will go on for years. Why Mark started too early is to establish he wants to take the first seat so more profits than back seats but as far as the investors concern towards is understandable but they took the bet so have to accept the outcome as well.

But he is burning billions without a product in sight! Metaverse as we can see it in some promo videos is still far away, and 18 months or 5 years is a pretty long time... he will probably burn even more billions until that point! I don't think that people are negative, it's just reality. For metaverse you will need VR, and how many people have and actively use it?! And do we really need it? How many people are really interested in the metaverse? Do we really need some other reality like the one we can see in some movies?

I guess the metaverse can be interesting, but let's keep it within some limits! We also need to stay humans who need some real touch!
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Faucet and Bonus Farming on: October 23, 2022, 07:16:58 PM
When there is free money involved, some people will always try to abuse the system so it is pretty normal that casinos block users who they know that cheat or abuse. When I have time, I also claim some faucets but that's about it.
That's true, no matter how much it is as long as it's free money, many will come to take it.
...

We all love "free money"! But it's not about that, it's about farming and abusing "free money"! We all have fun with bonuses and faucets, it's a low amount but there's always something to gamble with. If we are fair and we respect some rules there will be no problem. Some people (or to say a group of people?!) take this to another level, they intentionally create more accounts, they use bots, or whatever it's necessary for claiming "free coins"! And when they are doing this stuff with many accounts I guess there's some money in that, why would they do that if not?!

It's why we need to take all complaints with some reserve... I don't have a feeling that accounts are being locked so easily, from my experience, as a fair player I never had any problems, and I claim "free coins" and bonuses whenever I meet requirements.
1810  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: October 23, 2022, 06:20:52 PM
The best investment advice I heard from a guy who was a successful real estate broker was: save up as much as you're able to because each saved up bill works for you, while the same bill spent on more expensive food, drinks, rides, women, makes you lazy. Hard living makes hard men and if you can do it for a while you'll not only be stronger mentally but also have more money.

He actually lived like that, driving a cheap car and renting an apartment with a friend to share the expenses and investing the money into apartments for rent and land. He got hist first apartment from the money he saved up and another 2 on credit. After 15 years they were all paid for and mortgage free and making him money.

I'd rent a flat and put the rest into bitcoin.

Well, sometimes some things are easier to be said than done. Not everyone is in the same position, and for sure we don't have the same opportunities. As always, the old saying "not everything is for everyone" applies. But one of the common factors for all is certainly renunciation. Nothing is achieved without hard work that requires a lot of sacrifices.

I made a decision to invest in the house I live with my family (wife and kids)... A safe and warm home is my priority, I am trying not to burn all the money I have, but things got pretty expensive in the last months, and it's difficult to do anything (and finish it before the winter) without selling some assets. It's either that or borrowing money, but I simply don't like to owe any money to anyone!
1811  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Metaverse is the future on: October 22, 2022, 05:08:47 PM
So facebook and their Metaverse has  cost Meta $15 billion.... for what? There are a few months ago reports that "the Internet" is laugh about facebook/Meta and their Metaverse.
It is a huge project and a difficult task creating a new exciting world. The Meta team have invested a lot of money already in the project expecting success at this stage, but it is not yet going as they must have projected. They can learn from the criticism they have received to know the areas to improve on. The Metaverse still has a lot of potentials.
Metaverse is a big project and certainly it's projected for the long term,
It's not an easy thing to make this Metaverse acceptable to everyone and it still takes a lot of time to perfect it,
Obviously this is interesting to follow its development

But they spent $15 billion and we can't see anything about it except a few promo videos, those videos look good for sure, but as some other people are saying, how many of us don't have/use VR?! Metaverse is just an idea, in my opinion, it's a digital future like we saw in the movies, but I guess the world will is not ready for that!
I can be wrong, technology is advancing with incredible speed, but for now, I didn't see anything except big words. When I get to check some final product (or close to it) I will see is there a future in Metaverse or not.
1812  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⭐ BTCGOSU ⭐ THE ULTIMATE BITCOIN CASINO GUIDE ⭐ CRYPTO AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR 🏆 on: October 22, 2022, 02:14:19 PM
Time for a new GOSU event - been a while!  Cool

Nice contest as usual GOSU!! So it will be a very short contest from Friday to Sunday?
I hope I can take a part in this contest but I have to check my emails first, to see if I have created an account in bc.game or not to avoid the possibility of multi accounts.
Need to manage my gambling fund as well, so hopefully I still have some funds to participate in this contest.
Otherwise, I wish the best luck for all participant especially ivan who is one of the most active users in GOSU's contest.

As usual, I expect very little participation, which is why it definitely makes sense to submit some entries... talking about +EV. Wink

Thanks, Panjul! But I think I will sit this one out... if I don't change my mind later when the kids fall asleep and I open a bottle of wine! Smiley

I don't expect many participants as well, but it's still fun to compete with some regulars! tyKiwanuka was unlucky this time, last time he had a max win on the Pragmatic slot (Greek Goods I think?!)! The highest, for now, is just x156! I believe we will see some higher multi, but Roycilik lowest will be hard to beat!
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: All the truth about Crazy Time! Is Crazy Time Rigged? on: October 22, 2022, 07:03:35 AM
...

Technically, we don't know the real happenings in any of the live games regardless of the reputation of the game provider.

To solve that problem of yours, if you are really in doubt, then just ignore that game and shift to another.

We will never know if something is manipulating the result there that's why it would be better for you to just totally forget playing there.

Well, Crazy Time is a crazy game! And maybe we don't know about the technical part, but we know how high the house edge is for this game! So it's hard to win definitely!

I tried Crazy Time a few times, and I was surprised by the number of players, of course, if those are real people in chat. I didn't have the luck to hit "Crazy Time, Pachinko...", even though I was trying... after a while and some losses I just quit playing. When people lose they tend to think that the game is rigged, but with HE the game is designed to be hard to win, especially in the long run!  So I guess the best advice for people who doubt this game is to move to some other game, with a lower HE...
1814  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unpopular opinion about crypto gambling on: October 21, 2022, 08:16:49 PM
I guess when your bankroll is huge (maybe over $10k or $100k?! Or even higher?!) you want some protection and you are ready for KYC or anything else that can/will help you if some problem appears!

When it comes to us small-time gamblers avoiding KYC is probably some kind of rebellion, between everything else, we can pass it but the question is why do we need it? We like crypto because of the freedom it gives us... and some of us are not ready to abandon that freedom. Anyway, if you are a fair player you will be treated fair, with KYC or without.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two Gambling Stories on: October 21, 2022, 01:09:32 PM
When you are losing nobody cares about you, you cover your own losses, when you are winning everyone wants a piece of you!

I guess there's no point in talking about what would we do in a similar situation... We are all different, and in moments of shock (I believe it's shocking when you win some big amounts like the first story) we react differently. The best outcome would be for them to get married and live a happy life without worrying about money ever again if there's some true love! But how to story leads us to think this money brought some problems on the surface...

The second story is about stealing... but in reading comments from the link I see there are some "unspoken" rules between "master and apprentice"! Like in the 15th century! But who am I to judge if that is some tradition there and people there are ok with that:

1816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much gambling is in trading cryptocurrencies? on: October 21, 2022, 05:51:07 AM
Personally I feel crypto trading is pure gambling because there is not rule and regulations to control misuse of this system. Everyday many crypto coming towards society with fake vision. There should be a strict guidelines that when any project can be traded on public platform m as a world society government they should not be selfish and come together for better world.

Well, trading with new coins/tokens, counting old low-cap ones too, is pure gambling. Simply there's a lot of manipulation with them, proven fact, we had/have too many cases around, pump & dump scheme is something we see very often in crypto. Those who decide to join that circus are risking a lot, there are no rules here, some guidelines... it's just about the timing, getting in & out on time, like placing a bet on red or black in roulette. But in roulette we see the ball, in these schemes, we don't see a lot, any bagholder can dump everything in minutes and leave you with a bag full of worthless coins.
1817  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest Heavily ALT now on: October 20, 2022, 03:39:51 PM
That's a good advice but existence potential altcoins will never disappointed you. agreed that, new top10 is coming but waiting till 2024, that's very long time and not sure! While ether, bnb offers themself with cheap. Many more brand new web3, metaverse coins may come but potential coins will less by number among them. Even in 2024, ether, bnb and others potential coins would have increased heavily then if bull run occurred
Everything can change several times in a year. What I am sure of is that the list of the first five coins will definitely not change and will remain the same, I do not think that a new product will appear in a year that will be able to displace old projects.
There's no guarantee for such thing to happen but as far as i can see if the old project is not doing so good in the development of tech. I meant they were rarely creating an innovation compared with the new project that was heavlly coming to the market. that makes people less interested with them and they were starting to be replaced with the new token in the market. Investing in the low cap token is good enough.

But many new projects are doomed to fail, simply because they have ideas and big words, but there's no product behind, something that is working or will start working in some near future. While some "old ones" are holding pretty well even in these bearish times, it's because they deliver what they promised and they are working fine!

Investing heavily is OK if you are heavy! Simple as that! People shouldn't go over their heads if they are not completely sure what they are doing, and if they are not aware of the possible consequences if things go wrong... and things can go wrong in seconds when you don't expect it!
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: October 20, 2022, 12:42:11 PM
I keep seeing Dlive.tv by stake.com. Is there other alternatives streaming platform for slots besides this?

I don't think there is another alternative. Now when Twitch doesn't allow streaming from some crypto casinos there's a lot of empty space... Even DLive is not as popular as I saw in some discussions on telegram, I think they don't have a lot of people hanging there. But just two days passed, and most of us wait for the last moment before moving, so in the next weeks/months we will see DLive getting more popular. Of course, if we don't see some new streaming platform entering in the crypto-gambling space.
1819  Economy / Gambling / Re: Chips.gg |🎰 100k Event | Daily New Slots | on: October 20, 2022, 09:03:51 AM
The point, I believe, is that certain casinos aren't interested in marketing on Bitcointalk

Exactly this, I think they probably are not getting enough traffic from bitcointalk hence they ditch the thread but site is still up and running business though so they probably found some other place for their marketing budget.

Thanks for letting us know! Haven’t checked the site in a while (I guess everybody gots his favorite sites he plays on) but it is a good addition to the site. As you say might be good to use some pennies you get from the vault.

Yeah I got an email like few days ago but I kinda forgot to post it in here then somehow forgot about it but I did check on my emails yesterday then found out about it again. I bet everyone got some pennies left from The Vault sharing though so this is actually a good chance to actually use it on sportsbook rather than use it on dice or some other of those boring house game

Well, it's not possible to use pennies from the vault when shares are going to be distributed every 3 months... I am not sure where I saw it, but people should check their tokens a week before distribution, if you are not active your tokens can get unstaked and you will not receive a payout! Until the next payout:

Sportsbook looks good, maybe this will bring some traffic to the site that will boost this vault! Smiley
1820  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Want KYC at Crypto Casinos During Registration? on: October 19, 2022, 06:53:52 PM
As always, I will try to avoid it whenever I can, but if I need to do it I will. I don't want KYC during registration or later... it's not like I am running away from KYC, I just wish for less "papyrology"! I like it when it's easy and simple, without much hassle...

And I also think that KYC is being abused more than it contributes to stopping cheaters and scammers. Simply, it's so easy to bypass it, so what's the point!?
