1801  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A New Bitcoin Rival Is Coming? on: May 24, 2019, 03:04:31 PM
It would not be a rival to bitcoin as it serves a completely different purpose.
The Global coin would be used as a payment system within the Facebook ecosystem. For the system to work properly, it should have lower fees and higher supply. If it's nature were to be like bitcoin, it would be of no use. So, let's not compare bitcoin and digital utility tokens.
1802  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Telecom giant AT&T to accept bitcoin for payment on: May 23, 2019, 09:36:59 PM
It's even an irony while tech sites like steam and Microsoft has moved away from accepting crypto payments, something no one hoped for (but of course wanted to), AT&T accepting bitcoin and bitcoincash payments.
If given a continuation, this is certainly a good news for crypto adoption and I've read it is also a bit cheaper than other forms of payments.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Copa América 2019 Discussion Thread on: May 23, 2019, 09:32:27 PM
It's the fifth time Brazil is hosting the Copa America and on all the previous four occasions, guess who was the winner? Brazil
Brazil has an impressive 100% win record for Copa America when hosted on their own soil. Though every records are breakable, Brazil would be the favourite to start with.
1804  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Decentralized Domain Registry Raises $4M from Draper on: May 23, 2019, 08:33:41 PM
This would be something new if they'd be able to resist the take down request from the government.
If it did, it would be the first place for drugs market, illegal porn and hitman services.
Cryptocurrency is already infamous and such services would certainly led to a global crypto ban.
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO is popular, what do you think? Will you participate? on: May 23, 2019, 10:19:05 AM
The coin market ieo has turned the speculative coin into gambling. No matter whether the project is good or not, no one cares about it. The bear market project can't be used for money. Now, let's make a way. You can participate in the appointment, and then give you a few times the increase in the exchange. People may be able to earn some money. The secondary market is a long-term look at the market. It feels that this money is too buggy. Soon the money in the currency circle will be circled. A new project will come up with billions, but because of the turn With a few times the probability, it is difficult to stop the enthusiasm of the participation of the currency people, and may approach the ultimate method of cutting the leeks.
I just said my personal thoughts.

It happend with ICO, people realised the truth in a grim way. It's happening with IEO ans STO and most people would again realise it late and regret later.
The reality is there are good and bad everywhere. Even an ICO can be better than an IEO and a bank deposit may yield you more than a STO. You should read and analyse it properly before investing in any projects.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only the strongest will survive the great altcoin purge on: May 22, 2019, 03:58:14 PM
which project are you most confident with and why? WABI? VET? TNB?

VET has gone through many rise and falls and has been tested into different fields. Though their initial market was not a success, they adopted themselves to the new environment and kept on progressing. Now they are one of the prominent tokens and a safe bet for investment.
1807  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: May 22, 2019, 12:13:43 PM
I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?

I did in the past and would still do if I find the project promising. Good ICO's are easily filled to hard cap and have a large hype on getting listed on an exchange.
Most of the projects I invested had yielded me profit except for some which I'm holding but their prices are decreasing everyday.
Though even a established and promising team sometimes fails to deliver, still ICO investing are profitable if you are able to choose the correct ones.

1809  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright is Satoshi Nakamoto - Evidence Here on: May 22, 2019, 02:13:48 AM
So does he lost all of his account passwords in this forum and github?
Has he lost all of his wallets private keys and bitcoins?
Satoshi tried to decentralized the works as much as possible. He created both this forum and the bitcoin.org but went on to transfer the ownership to others. If satoshi really wanted to come out, it would not have been this difficult.
1810  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facts about this "industry" on: May 22, 2019, 02:01:01 AM
Crypto is going in bad path.
Crypto should have made our life easier but it has turned into a gambling game where one person benefits from others investment.
It's becoming more and more like a slow ponzi or networking game. You bring in new investors and get away with nice profits.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The longer you play poker the better you become ? on: May 22, 2019, 01:45:42 AM
What do you think can be a consistent winning player on this game? is this game of skills or luck?
the longer you play more skills you get?

I don't think so.
There are other card games that are skill based but poker is entirely luck.
Yes you can get away with small loses if you feel the probability is low enough to not to risk and if you believe you are losing but again you never know the  outcome of upcoming card.
1812  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Bitfinex launches Tokinex on: May 21, 2019, 04:04:40 PM
To follow the likes of successful IEO issuing exchanges, bitfinex tried something new. A subsidiary token listing service with a different name and a domain.
Its seems like they want to get the cut on IEO craze but don't want to directly befoul their name.

What are your thought about the https://tokinex.ethfinex.com/token-sales platform?
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is loss of bitcoin.com a setback for Bitcoin Core? on: May 21, 2019, 03:54:39 PM
Bitcoin is not going to be the leader forever and nor is bitcoincash. Promoting every crypto is ultimately in favor of every cryptocurrencies and most probably is the best way to fulfill satoshi's dream. But at least we should agree to something like naming and not confuse the new comers.
If someone came to the market for buying bitcoincash but didn't find anything like that and never spent his money on crypto than it would not be a positive signal for crypto progress.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: HOW I BECAME A GAMBLER on: May 21, 2019, 03:01:20 PM
2017 was a very tough year for me. All efforts that i ever made to make money proofed abortive, then my friend told me about gambling and how he has been making money from it. I didn't buy into this idea because i have had a very bad impression about this game even though i never tried. Am sure you all know that gambling has a bad reputation lol Grin Grin. At a point i had no  other choice than to give it a trial on a sport betting site. That day i made double of my money and i promised myself never to stop gambling Grin That was how my journey on gambling started. Can you share your story briefly and clearly  Roll Eyes LETS GO GUYS

I have a similar experience. I started with sports betting, as the outcomes were slower and not always in favor, I moved to dice and roulette in the sportsbook. And having some small profits, I got greedy and went with regular dice sites and now I'm in crash sites. They are fun but you ultimately lose.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 21, 2019, 02:23:08 PM
India basically changed the concept of cricket everywhere, earlier it was hard to see these high scoring matches outside the sub continent,
~Edited~
India?? Bro, how come India Changed the concept of cricket-more precisely ODI?
They commercialized the entire game of cricket and hope you know why BCCI have a voice on everything when it comes to decision making in cricket and even ICC would listen to them, because BCCI is super rich and could dictate things and India has the most loyal fan base and where ever India is playing they could fill the stadium with ease and the broadcasters are ready to pay huge sum of amount, in short the concept of competitive cricket, which means the battle between bat and ball is gone and if you look now the boundaries are shorter now, pitches are flat and every rules favor batsmen.

I don't think commercialization is a bad thing for a sports.
India is the largest market for cricket. IPL has increased the earning of a player by ten folds. If sports is an entertainment, they should deliver what the crowd wants. BCCI devises laws that would increase the number of viewers and advertisers.
Cricket is no longer a gentlemen game. They are just entertainers doing their job.
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Waves the Most Overrated Altcoin? on: May 19, 2019, 04:07:29 PM
Waves is a dead coin. Taking a photograph alongside of Vitalik Buterin won't make them a good token.
The concept was good but they were never able to implement properly and they soon declared themselves the loser.
They just tried to become an easier token issuing platform while not giving focus to much more important principles.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling site that offer Free spin? on: May 19, 2019, 03:48:56 PM
Many of the site provides the free spins on registration but they go away without you achieving anything.
Some of the provides faucets but they too are mostly a spin or some faucet won't let you a chance in slots as the minimum amount to bet are generally larger. But sites like Bitvest lets you play with whatever small amount possible. Though it just have a single slot.
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good investment? on: May 19, 2019, 12:54:08 PM
A lot of us are in doubt about investing and trading during these days. We can't really avoid being discombobulated especially newbies that's why sharing our own experience and knowledge can help them to be wiser and responsible about making decision. Just like some of you i'm looking for a good investment, one of my friend suggested Afrihealth. I'm not actually familiar with it that's why I decided to search for some information and details about it and it turns out good. Of course as an investor I want everything to be great and turn into positive outcomes that's why I always make sure about everything especially on making decision so I won't regret anything.Do you think its a good and worth it investment?

The so called founder is a Nigerian and all other members are Indian.
I don't mean to attack any nationality but in my experience these two countries have the highest number of scammers than anywhere in the world.
They have no other evidence that they are based on London as claimed. They just have an animation video to explain their project.
I would not trust them unless the team at least provides a fair detail about the project themselves.
1819  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many sub part of bitcoin will be released like bitcoin core and bitcoincash on: May 18, 2019, 04:46:54 PM
Hi I am new bie , How many sub part of bitcoin will be released like bitcoin core and bitcoincash  etc ?

They are not sub-part but a copy production of Bitcoin.
Being an open source project Bitcoin is available to be forked by anyone and everyone. So, many of them tried to take up a different chain and work on it to create a better crypocurrency.
1820  Economy / Speculation / Re: after only a few days the bitcoin has gone up, but now it's starting to fall aga on: May 18, 2019, 01:32:40 PM
whether someone will panic again and sell their bitcoin that they just bought a few days ago when going price up and now the bitcoin seems to have started lowering the price again, I hope it won't do it, because the market can suddenly rise and fall very quickly , so we must be calm and not be too hasty in buying or selling when the market moves up and lowers prices.

It's probably just a correction. The price of bitcoin was around 6K before the rise and now it's stuck above 7K, a 1K rise in price and the price is rising further more as of now. Even if we don't see a rapid bull, bitcoin has already started to climb the gradual ladder up from the low of 5K.
