1801  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What approach do you expect from the Government if your Country adopt bitcoin? on: May 30, 2022, 06:32:05 PM
Developed countries are all focusing and issuing their CBCD coins in the future instead of accepting bitcoin. I am not negative but my view is that only poor, small, weak economies are more inclined to accept bitcoin than developed countries.

The government has controlled us for centuries and they will continue to do so they will never accept any force that can threaten their power, bitcoin is really a cool technology but simply because it's decentralized i wouldn't be too optimistic about governments adopting it.
There must be a country where they accept bitcoin but at the same time planning to have their own centralized cryptos like the cbcd. This is only good for the people that like centralization and don't have a trust in bitcoin. This is why not all government and bank thinks that btc is a big threat to them because they know that many people are not comfortable on those currencies.

It's up to us if we people will go on with the flow and let the government control us but nowadays it is now possible to be free and become independent on your own. Thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto for introducing a wonderful invention or technology called bitcoin.
1802  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LUNA 2.0 is live! on: May 29, 2022, 05:26:19 PM
Sorry for anyone hoping to recoup their pre-crash losses. It's trading around $5 presently after an encouraging but brief opening around $17.

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/terra-luna-v2/
Guys let's unite and hold this token for at least a month and I am sure the price will be really high. It makes no sense to dump right now because the price is nowhere where it should be because the max supply is 1,000,000,000.

I was really hoping that the old luna be recovered somehow by burning tokens slowly and that would have been a more realistic, honest & legit solution for the problem. Just creating a new token and dumping the old one shows that the Terra owners don't care about their holders and what stops them from dumping this current version and look to make luna 3?
1803  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: May 28, 2022, 09:08:07 PM
well, maybe for some altcoins, their team will try to make the price of the coins they own go up. they do that to keep investors comfortable, and not bothered by the existence of FUD. however, I think there will be some projects that won't pump their coins. whether it's good or not but I think projects that don't try to maintain the price of their coins will easily be abandoned by investors. only, the increase in the price of the coins they have will not make the price of their coins recover. it's probably only a few percent. some coins may recover, but not all coins will be like that. in this case we can see which investments are good, which ones are quite vulnerable to fall.
Maybe coins will be de listed on some exchanges as well. This bear market is very painful for small projects and to those people who wants to start their project this Q2, a team with good strategic and risk management plan can survive this bear market, I believe that after this Q2 and Q3 we will going to have green market again this Q4.
Yes it can happen, every exchange needs to clean up their platforms and they are regularly delisting dead coins or coins with less to no volumes at all. Big coins have suffered a lot from this bear and how much more those small projects? I think they are the ones that have badly beaten up.

For those who are planning to launch their own projects, this cant be a good time to do it but it would be better if they will released it once the market have recovered. Strats, plans and others, cant do anything much in this bear, but bear is too strong that even the strongest projects like btc cant also do anything to help itself but like you I also expect that q4 is going to be better for the market.
1804  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The bitcoin price drop is an excellent time to buy bitcoins on: May 28, 2022, 06:56:58 PM
Certainly money is made when we buy in bear market and sell in bullish market but only if you are long term investor who have capacity to hold and can wait for return of  Bull market. Crypto market always gives buying as well as selling opportunity to those who believe in it & firmly hold their Bitcoin and this is vindicated by historical record of Bitcoin since 2009.
Maybe those people that sells in a bear market miss understood what you guys are saying about money is made during the bear because they are selling instead of buying but I think they also have their own point. You can only make cash or a profit once you sell and not when you buy but that is if they are still up by some percent.

Those who sells in a bear market does not always mean that they lose because some of those people have also bought their coins when it dumped heavily and they only sell it for a while for some reasons and maybe it's important because they are collecting more funds as soon as possible.
1805  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you buying the dip? on: May 28, 2022, 12:06:40 PM
It's surely good buying when most are selling, but make sure that you have good knowledge about the business that you are taking. The chance of seeing the market to fall for more is not by far. The dump is unpredictable. There are many factors that will affect the momentum and more weak holders will follow this trend. Note it out that you have to bring more patience and courage to make sure that you are ready for whatever happened around the market.
Courage and patience will come with more experience. I have been in crypto for a long time and I have to say that this drop didn't mean anything to me. I mean sure I was scared because that's the natural reaction and I understand it, but the reality is that I trust bitcoin enough that I know that it will recover and I haven't sold a single satoshi.

My economy is not doing amazing, and I know that my business in general is not doing well, and that is understandable, my finances could be hit, but that's fine and I will grind and be patient and I will get better eventually, it may take a while before it could happen, and maybe I will earn a lot less in the future for a while, but being a veteran means that I will hang in there and hold on and I will profit more than anyone else and have a lot of money when bitcoin goes back up.
1806  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: May 27, 2022, 08:35:42 PM
In short branding and site functionality supplement each other.  This two factor must not be neglected in order to gain the most positive result.  Think about a scenario where branding is prioritized but site functionality is poor, customer will not be satisfied and may leave and never come back due to the unsatisfactory experience.  If that happen, spending so much in branding will be in vain.
If that is then why most casinos cant do it. Why they don't have both good functions and a good brand name? But, most casinos usually have one of it. Either their names are good enough but they have a not so good functionality or their functions are good but their names cant be on the same level but I think the one that can survive are the casinos with good functionality even if they don't have a good name because the functions are the ones that gamblers will use and not the names.

It's crazy if someone can spend time and money only to create a good brand name and ended up neglecting their site's functionalities. That would be an epic fail.
1807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price with a 4 year cycle? on: May 27, 2022, 04:42:56 PM
I feel that we no longer need to wait up to 4 years to get ATH on bitcoin price as well as next crypto price
Some users are also speculating like that. They say that bears can continue till the year of 2024, maybe because every 4 year there was a halving? But for me I don't believe on that perception. Many happenings or events that can happen within 2 years and that can affect the price of bitcoin.

Maybe the price can become stable or dump more or maybe the price can pump higher. Also we shouldn't forget the fact that people still continuously buy bitcoin. They don't wait till 2023 or a much closer date to 2024 before they buy bitcoin. That event can also contribute to the recovery of the price and possibly can lead for it to exceed a certain limit.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction causing victim to scam his family on: May 27, 2022, 11:28:02 AM
I think he was not completely able to beat his addiction as we saw that it lasted until he had an offer in his email to play for free a little amount as a gift from the casino website. If he was truly convinced to leave gambling once and for all he should have also unsubscribed from all the casinos and their marketing emails. When I see my email it is full of such offers (not free money) but marketing emails from the casinos I play the most at.If I want to quit gambling for good,I unsubscribe from all these marketing emails from the gambling companies.
Yes. Stopping playing and closing the account is not a solid proof to tell that a gambling addict quits for good but at some point of his life, he will see himself at the casino playing once again and it seems that we are right with that because the guy take the offer and re-login to his account and as expected he didn't get contented on the offer but he pour some more money and lose on the game of chance.

50 dollars is only just a small amount of money compared to what we have lost before and we will be lost in the future by the time we came back on the casino. We should realize that thing if we want to sincerely change our habit from bad to good.
1809  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Copy Trading - experience and tipps on: May 27, 2022, 08:14:46 AM
all of that is something we can learn. since those who tell us we can do it, of course, we can certainly do the same. it all depends on our desire and interest to develop.
I learned some trading technicals from people in the community. Slowly I began to understand using several tools for analysis. I still have time to learn, and once I've mastered it there's certainly no reason not to do it myself. with self control.
but to be honest, I sometimes do copy trades with people I trust. who gave me the course. but that I do only when I'm busy and don't have much time for analysis. highly not recommended, but just for fun, I think it's ok.
That's alright, I like to copy trades of a few of my friends as well, specially one of them who stopped giving help because he caused some people to lose money once, and even though nobody said anything (because we profited a lot more thanks to him before) he ended up not giving anymore but loved following him up.

Overall, it is okay to copy someone's trades if you know them and followed them up and know what they are after or how they make a profit and if you can chat with them. This was my friend, so I literally hang out with him, and I know his intentions, he didn't mean anything bad each time he offered an "idea" basically and that's why it's cool to follow them up.
1810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Best time for me to buy on: May 27, 2022, 07:01:56 AM
Using huge amount of money may seem inappropriate because we have this "buy only what you can afford..." thing, but it was bitcoin is the one that we are talking about and also, we are going for longer terms so I guess it was fine? There's also an evidence that btc values can recover and increase if only you will give it a time.

I know, the price earlier was 30k but if it falls again the moment you write your post then that only shows that price was still not stable and there a chance for it go down. We only have 7 days before we proceed to the next month. With that time frame I don't think we can get to 50k real quick but a 100k before the year ends, can still be possible.
No matter how "guaranteed" anything looks, we should not be going all-in, specially with a huge amount to anything. This isn't just about bitcoin, you  shouldn't do that with even real estate or gold which are seen as sure things in investment world.

I know that it is not going to be that simple to see bitcoin as a "not so sure thing" because as we all know it is as sure as it gets but it is not 100% sure thing. Hence, it should be something that we need to focus on by just trying our best as much as possible. I personally do DCA, which means that I never invest into it as a whole, I try to invest in instalments and that lowers the risk a lot.
1811  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Emotions on: May 26, 2022, 01:58:35 PM
I think for now no one believes in stupid things like that.
Tricks like this have been done several times and only very stupid people will fall for it.
what he said was not trading emotion but it was emotional deception, i really laugh for people like this.lol
Reading the original post, it's true of what you've said.

It's not all about emotion in trading but an emotional deception and thinking that it's an actual thing of what OP has explained. It's a trick, a way to fool people as if there will be one that will bite the trap.

Yeah, there are a lot of transactions but that doesn't mean people would be falling for this trap and scam.
I know that there is a good case to be made about the situation when emotions play a part, but it doesn't matter if it is emotional trading or emotions used to trap, it's all emotions. Just have some data that you look to, and trade based on that data, and no matter who says what, or what happens, just always keep on trading based on that data. That way you would never be convinced otherwise by just talking.

Of course, it doesn't mean that you will not make losses, but your losses will be based on data and not based on you getting fooled, and that way you could go back and check the data and see where you did wrong, that would help you out a lot.
1812  Economy / Economics / Re: What skills should I learn to get freelance work ..?? on: May 26, 2022, 11:06:30 AM
when I see this and want to make this an opportunity, I always do it by recognizing my strengths and potential first here.
Same here. This is also what I am looking at before I find a career. I will think about my skills first and if where I am good at. That will make things easier for me because I can just find job vacancies on the same field and I don't need to learn a new skill anymore because for me that takes time and I need money as soon as possible for my needs while I know that someone can disagree with that and they will say that it was always important to learn a new skill. Maybe these kind of people are not in a hurry. They don't have any worries in life because maybe they have a family that they can still depend on.

we are born to seek all forms of information and we don't have to be good at all fields because there must be a learning process first.
I agree on the last part. Indeed that there's always a learning involved but I can't seem to agree on your first few sentence. That's crazy and too tiring if you want to lean all or seek all information in this world.
1813  Economy / Gambling / Re: Crypto Gambling Review Site on: May 26, 2022, 10:14:14 AM
With many members here who already discussed the topic,it's clear that without transparency of the review, people will not trust it readily.
We just have to wait for testimony of the people who already tried each site personally,so we can judge if it's worth it or not.
Why wait for other people? What if you are the ones that will try it immediately? That saves you time and the advantage of it is that you are more sure because it was yourself that tried it than to the others that we are not sure if they are lying or not. You don't really need to have a big fund to do it but a small amount will do.

There are also sites which offers free spins and faucets where you can use so that you won't need to deposit anymore. I don't know if what transparency you mean there because this was a review site and all reviews that they have made should be available for public viewing but that made sense. They wont be a review site anymore if they keep wont be transparent.
1814  Economy / Speculation / Re: A crash where Bitcoin wasn't responsible should be treated as such on: May 26, 2022, 07:29:43 AM
People should be aware for a similar situation: Bitcoin wasn't responsible for what happened, Bitcoin was safe, working as usual and as usually proven since Bitcoin was started. No need to sell Bitcoin.
People need to learn to be wise and don't sell Bitcoin when different Altcoins are having techical problems. It will likely happen a lot more because we have a lot of shady Altcoins!

A very good recommendation: don't sell Bitcoin when a different Altcoin crashes!

After all, such crashes will only re- distribute coins from weak hands to strong hands (HODLers).
To be succesful means to understand Bitcoin is independent from Altcoins and to understand HODL.  Smiley
Yeah, bitcoin isn't responsible to anything that happens here but it was the people's responsibility. They are the ones that invest here. They are also the ones that creates the price. There are people that will sell but it does not mean that they are panicking but maybe they just need money. If alts crash then why would someone sell their btc's? They did sense that btc will follow next?

I think there is no such pattern as that but it must be the opposite. It will be more acceptable that people will sell alts when they saw that btc crash first because alts are definitely going to follow. Just don't stress yourself too much as there will always be people that won't get it but better to focus only your own.
1815  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens if BTC's price falls to $8,000? on: May 26, 2022, 06:06:43 AM
I don't think this a very realistic scenario. A bitcoin price of 8,000 USD would be so attractive for most investors that they would buy all the coins they can get. The price will reflect that new demand and will rise quickly. There are already some bug investors who stated they will buy bitcoins heavily below 20,000 USD. That's why I think the bitcoin price will not stay below 20k if it ever breaches that barrier. For me I would keep buying the lower the price will drop. And if we ever come close to the 10,000 USD level again, I think that people would start taking our loans and buy bitcoins. The inflation is still rising, there is no point in holding cash in fiat money.
It sounds impossible because it's been a long time since we see btc that low but from these past years, btc didn't drop too much anymore. The lowest that it can get are like under 30k but not lower than 25k or 20k. 8k looks too good to be true already but pretty sure that when it happens, there are still greedy people that will not buy it immediately because they believe that btc can drop a little more but for the majority, I think they will think differently this time since.

8k is not something that we see often but it's a rare opportunity. They always say that taking loans are risky especially if use for investing but if btc at 8k is the one that we are talking about, I think many people will ignore that warning and continue to take risk.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: Sideways huh! on: May 26, 2022, 05:36:30 AM
Quote
As for me I would rather avoid trading, even scalping, during this time of high uncertainty. There is indeed a sideward movement of the price but whether it will fall down further or break out towards a higher price, it is really unpredictable. The price is like hanging by a thread. Anything big could happen any minute. If I were to decide, I would rather put a bid order in place for a possible fall to $28,000 or $27,000 levels. But I still hope the break out will happen soon.
Based on what we are experiencing from the crypto market right now showed that the price is too low to trade your coins than to keep holding till the price return back to $50k before you can sell to make a good profit. I think the price will soon move from $28k to $100k before the end of 2022 because the team are seriously working to make sure that long team investors are happy with the income they are making from the market. The price will definitely increase higher in the month of June to allow people to make a passive income.
Traders are not picky and will still take low profits. If there are picky, that would be the holders because the reason why they hold is they are waiting for a higher price to occur. Price right now was still on 29k but 28k is not far from it so yes it is highly possible.

What I am only not sure is if we are going to hit 100k very soon. I temporarily erased it on my vocabulary and replaced it with lower numbers like 50k and 60k. Bitcoin doesn't depend on its team. They aren't the one that creates the price but prices vary on the mood of the whales, institutions and retail investors. If they want this price to go up then they need to buy and hodl harder.
1817  Economy / Economics / Re: Taking loan during high inflation? on: May 25, 2022, 04:15:52 PM
Getting a loan is sometimes inevitable as very few people have the money to pay for a house or a car with cash, however I do think that in this age people ask for loans for almost any reason and this is one of the reasons why they cannot escape the rat race, so avoiding loans as much as possible is a good thing and they should only be used when absolutely necessary, which is why I do not really like that people use leverage, which is nothing more but asking for a loan to buy more of the asset they want, as they are multiplying their risk many times over and this means they can lose a great deal of money if they make a single mistake when they trade, something that is quite common.
Maybe that is the definition of necessary or urgent for them. They take loans because they don't have any money in their pockets. They will then use the borrowed money on their risky crypto activities, while for us, urgent and necessary would mean that if we or the people we love are hospitalized and our own savings is not enough to support them.

I think this reason is more valid in my opinion, I support this more, than to the first scenario. Another thing that people can do to avoid taking loans is to be contended living on a much simpler life. They don't need to take a loan only to have a car or to have a good house because those things are not really that important.
1818  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teach me to invest in NFTs. on: May 25, 2022, 05:04:15 AM
I think, many people has found a good opportunity from solona community that made them most top successful investors in the community. Solona price is still low for both short term investors and long term investors to use this opportunity to invest a huge amount of money on solona investment to be part of the good news that is about to happen in the community.
Solana projects are so underrated up until now because many people focus only on the popular ones like bsc/bnb projects but in fact there's a lot of scam projects on this network but there are more legit projects under solana. If they are looking for a real hidden gem then they should try checking out projects from solana and for sure they wont regret it.

Those that took their time to carry out their personal research to get the real projects to invest at the moment are really happy with the results they are getting from solona investment.
Of course, who wouldn't be happy when you know that your efforts are not wasted? Many normal investors don't realized it. They don't take much efforts to make a research and think many times before they invest but they are always in a hurry and grab almost anything that are on the trend/hype, that is why most of them are not successful.
1819  Economy / Economics / Re: Where should I invest? on: May 24, 2022, 02:19:38 PM
There's a lot of project being created every single day, all of it will promise you that their token is worth to buy, but for me? especially this bear market it is better to but top coins in the market such as bitcoin and eth. If you are new in crypto everything should be study first before investing, a proper knowledge can be a key for better future in trading.
where to invest, of course, have different assumptions, especially with sensitive bear market conditions. for today I prefer to invest in stable coins as an initial deposit base to choose the right coin. I think there is no need to rush into investing in crypto before you really understand it properly.
At first thought, what you have said looks not right since stable coins are stable and not volatile, and the reason why we invest in crypto is because they are volatile but if we will only think about, there are now a couple of ways to make a profit out of stable coins (staking for example).

This is good for the newbies that have just started and are still doing their own research about cryptos and if which are best to get in different situations. It allows them to earn at an early stage while learning at the same time. They didn't waste any of their precious time upon doing this. No need to rush because the bears looks like they are going to stay for a much longer time.
1820  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40 high schools in Argentina to launch bitcoin in their curriculum. on: May 24, 2022, 09:06:32 AM
40 high schools isn't as big of a step as some others did (for example, France added Blockchain and cryptos into the overall school curriculum, not as an experiment in a bunch of schools), but it's still better than nothing.
Exactly, it's way better than nothing because those students anyway will be able to understand and explain what bitcoin is also to their families, friends, etc, and we all have to start somewhere. Also I don't think it's fair comparing Argentina and France, we're talking about 2 completely different countries and economies.
And besides it was only at experimental phase but as soon as this becomes a success, chances are that they will add more schools or possibly make btc as a legal course and subject not just on high school but also on grade school or lower and on college or much higher if there's any.

It was mostly on school where we can learn stuffs. This is where it starts, so adding bitcoin on curriculum can be an effective way to introduce btc to the kids and adults. It's better that if they can learn it early because bitcoin as well as blockchain is still on the middle of their run (not too early and not too late) but the more it becomes popular and in demand the more the careers that it will unlock. This is a good livelihood for someone else.
