Do you all remember laser episodes on FIFA qualification match between Egypt and Senegal? FIFA punished Senegal's football organization for fan disorder during the match. Action quite justified as they have abused fellow opponents for a long time. Laser that is being used by so many countries should have fined but nothing happens to them. Otherwise FIFA continuous to be the joke association for others.
The truth is any team would take a $200k fine + a game without their fans in exchange for a spot in the FIFA world cup to be honest. It’s a shame though that Senegal got away with this one. The fixture should've been replayed in a neutral venue. Although, some fans would argue that Senegal only gave Egypt a taste of their own medicine but we have to agree that is unacceptable. @SatoPrincess had FIFA gone in for a replay it would have created complications, because each time a team would be losing then their fans would try and disrupt the game, and hope that their team would get a rematch hence rematch was never going to be feasible for FIFA. However what I liked was FIFA has sent out a stern message and I hope that from now on such incidents won’t be repeated, and if they yet happen then FIFA should threaten to ban that country because that’s the only way these incidents can end.

One question I ask myself on this is,
What is the fans take on this? How does it go I any length to teach the fans who are the perpetrators of this act a lesson? Yeah, FIFA has done the most and surely, they were never meant to let the Super eagles go without some form of punishment but I strongly believe majority of the fans or at least some of them should have been caught and exemplified.
People tends to be a lot more responsible when the punishment for there actions is a lot more directed at them or ther families. Nigerians might be unfied under one Nigeria but make no mistake, most persons don't see it as family and as they aren't paying directly form there individual purse, they would care very little. It was a stampede situation and as such, getting the perpetrators would be difficult but it would have been a lot more nice, seeing fans pay for there actions.
It's such a wrong way to so solidarity on a lost course!
@Smartvirus if the fans can be identified then they should be banned for life from visiting any stadium in the country, and secondly they should be asked to pay a fine to the government as this will create fear in fans mind that they cannot vent like this ever again. FIFA has fined Nigeria N64 million (about 150,000 Swiss Francs) and play a match indoors for what fans did on the stadium after the Super Eagles of Nigeria failed to beat Ghana in their qualifiers for the Qatar 22 world cup on March 29, 2022. And I like it. It was stupid for fans to encroach on the pitch and cause destruction of the stadium. I know the fine will be paid from tax payers money but it will serve a warning to the federal government of Nigeria to ensure adequate security next time for matches. Find story here https://guardian.ng/sport/fifa-fines-nigeria-n64m-orders-eagles-to-play-one-match-without-fans/The fine of 150K Swiss Franc & a closed door game is a fair punishment for what the fans did - encroaching and violent display, destroying the stadium facilities after losing to Ghana in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers. Take away the financial implication, I doubt Nigerians do care even if they are given 10 games ban playing matches in closed doors. I agree that the Nigeria’s government needs to be more careful, because such actions are not welcome and definitely should not be repeated ever, and I sincerely hope that they can catch the fans responsible for this and hand out punishments to them.

Still can't predicting with team promoting to Bundesliga because have chance for 5 top teams standing, actually with Schalke remaining 2 points on top position standing can't guarantee with Bundesliga promotion. Next match against with St. Pauli and if away team success reach 3 points maybe chance for Schalke will take by St. Pauli. This match maybe Schalke favorite because last several match St. Pauli missing many important points and right now remaining 5 points from Schalke, maybe if can defeated Schalke will open second chance for St. Pauli with chance back to 3rd position.
Yea, I agree, Schalke vs St.Pauli could be a decisive game for both teams. If Schalke wins, they are almost guaranteed to be in the top2. St.Pauli would be out of the race then. For any other outcome the options would be more open. St.Pauli is pretty much out of the race unless they can win this game though (and even then their chances are slim). It will also be interesting to see whether Bremen and Darmstadt can secure 6 points in the remaining 2 games. I somehow doubt that they will both be able to do that. I could see Darmstadt to lose some points in their game against Dusseldorf tonight. Quotes for relegation into Bundesliga are now: Schalke 1.14 Bremen 1.2 Darmstadt 2.3 Hamburg 4.5 St.Pauli 30.0 I agree with you guys for now Schalke is better position to qualify for the Bundesliga, and let’s hope that they will play with confidence and return where they belong i.e Bundesliga. Furthermore I too feel that it’s bit late for St. Pauli, but given the competitiveness of this league we cannot predict if they’ll miss out, and that’s what I like about this league it’s very unpredictable and fun to watch.

I don't find the purpose of this cup but I'm happy for Roma.
This edition, the first one it will be the only one people will remember in the following years.
Congratulations to both the tactician Jose Mourinho and Roma, they have successfully reached the UEFA Conference League finals. Jose Mourinho is now the first manager to make it to the Champions League final, UEFA Champions League final and also the UEFA Conference League finals. As he was seen in years as he guide them successfully. Two players that have indeed impressed for Roma in this competition are both Tammy Abraham and Zaniolo. It's a good thing too see them consistent over the past game's prior to this! I'm sure rooting for them to win in the finals, Jose will sure get this one wrapped up! I feel that this is the revival of Mourinho because his reputation had taken a hit when he was managing clubs in the premier league, and now I hope that Roma wins it for him. Furthermore Abraham was a shrewd signing by him, but I believe that next season he’ll be signed by a premier league team so I hope that he at least leaves by winning this trophy.

After PSG managed to celebrate their championship trophy a few days ago, now the competition in Ligue 1 is only focused on fighting for the champions league zone ticket next season, marseille who is in second place has squandered the opportunity to secure a champions league ticket in last week match, although still are in 2nd place but their position is starting to be threatened by rennes, monaco and nice at this time especially by rennes, rennes who might want to be safe of course will try their best to get second position, so that way they don't have to take part in the preliminary round of the champions league to determine their fate next season.
@Roidz while PSG have sealed the title there’s lots of action in the background about Poch where he says that he and Mbappe are going to be at PSG next season, but all signs are pointing to their exit. Furthermore I feel that PSG should answer the questions regarding them staying, because it’ll help all PSG player’s get clarity and then only will they be able to start their preparations for the next season.

What a stunning night of football. I think Real Madrid will be crowned champions league winners 2022 because they will defeat Liverpool again just like they did in 2018.
Liverpool will have opportunities to win the game but I think Real Madrid will win it and add another taking their record from 13 to 14 champions league winners.
In the 68th minute Ancelotti took off Kroos and brought on Rodrygo. Manchester City were in control all the way through to the 90th minute when Rodrygo scored two goals in 84 seconds. Benzema scored a penalty to give Real Madrid a 3-1 lead on the night and 6-5 on aggregate.
It seems Manchester City conceded 3 goals in 6 minutes and that is unacceptable at this level. Real Madrid punished them.
@JollyGood I’m yet trying to understand what happened to Manchester City, because this kind of sloppiness from them is unacceptable and I wonder if Pep is jinxed and can’t win the champions league with City, furthermore do you feel that post this loss he will reconsider his future for coaching City?. Also Real Madrid will face an in form Liverpool side, but I feel that you’re right because if Real Madrid play like how they played in the dying moments then they surely can beat Liverpool easily.

I read the news that Ronaldo could be in PSG. And that allegedly Messi warned the club's management that he was against this and if such a transfer occurs, he will leave the club (although he has a valid contract). Firstly, I'm surprised by Messi's actions (I thought, personally, these players have no problems - because Messi was able to play in the same team with Ramos, why not play with Ronaldo), and secondly, the idea that Ronaldo could be in the farm league.
If Messi leaves PSG with an active contract there, it simply shows unprofessionalism. How can Messi against the management plan? Messi isn't the owner of PSG, he must accept that he will play with Ronaldo. Moreover, Messi has no serious problem with Ronaldo. What is the reason for not accepting Ronaldo into the squad? If Messi doesn't want to compete with Ronaldo for a Ballon D'or (best player), both are out of that competition already. There are many other players that deserve the Ballon D'or right now. It will make no sense at all if Ronaldo pllays with Messi in one team,it will definitely make football boring.Ronaldo is a direct rival to Messi, and it will be hard to accept the challenge that your rival is playing alongside you in one team. The competition between people is what brings out the best in someone, because you must be scared of loosing your place to your rival who is waiting for the least opportunity to win you.u To me bringing in Ronaldo as a additional player to PSG squad is not necessary, the idea of having two rivals in your team isn't the best idea as a manager. To me it will have an effect on the team, the way they play will be affected. And I don't think Messi will accept such, cause there is a saying, two captains can't sail in one sheep. So Ronaldo should go and look for another team cause the combination of Ronaldo and Messi can't work. I feel this news about Messi is false, because he and Ronaldo know that this is going to be their last big lucrative contract, and by playing along side they can earn a lot by via sponsorships. Furthermore it would be a dream to see these two play together, and I believe that they’ll display professionalism on the pitch and they will score lots of goals together.

snip it will be and old rivalry next, Murray vs Djokovic. Novak looks great in his last game and so is Murray. But I don't think that Murray will have the body to beat Djokovic in their game. I'm expecting a two set win by Djokovic.
I like the quote from Murray regarding the next match: "He's the world number one, and I've got a metal hip" Difficult to believe, but the last time these two played, Murray was world number one and Djokovic number two. Thats class and just goes to show Andy is a realist and still has the wit! He will be looking forward to this though, its a kind of benchmark for him to be able to measure up against the #1 and like always what he lacks in mobility he still retains the skills to create some difficulty for Djokovic but its hard to see him winning this one as Djokovic is ramping up his levels now in preparation for RG. Intresting reading about the match up of these two players. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Djokovic%E2%80%93Murray_rivalryBetween May and August 2013 and between May 2016 and June 2017, they were the world No. 1 and 2 in ATP rankings; Djokovic held the top spot throughout the entire first period and the second period until November 2016, when Murray claimed it. They were the 2015 and 2016 year-end top 2 players in the world. They subsequently did not play each other for over five years (from January 2017 at the Qatar Open to May 2022 at the 2022 Madrid Open), mainly due to Murray's string of injuries. I believe that deep down Murray will be hoping to stun Djokovic, because the latter has had a tough year and is currently woefully out of form hence a perfect opportunity for Murray to capitalise on. True, how time flies though, as we can see, Djokovic still reigns as the number one players for many years and then Murray's game dip because of injuries.
But for sure, this is one of the most anticipated match although we might conclude that Djokovic will win it. But for sure fans are going to cheer for Murray in this game no matter what is the outcome.
@Kemarit with the fans cheering for Murray I feel that Djokovic will be under pressure right from the start, therefore I’m confident that Murray can stun him and beat him.

This thread is silent for almost a week now. We have only 4 cricket threads and due to IPL there isn't much to discuss about cricket these days. ICC has conducting a tournament for women in Pakistan that have players coming from 35 countries " ...as is the case with all the teams in the competition, which aims to bring together cricketers from 30 countries to increase playing opportunities across the women's game..." source@coinism this is a general thread where we can discuss all formats, but currently there’s not any breaking news which we can discuss here, plus the T20 thread is enough for IPL for now. Lastly I wasn’t even aware of this tournament which again proves how little marketing is done for Women’s cricket, but I hope in the long run they get good coverage like their male counterparts get.

These new teams that are playing the T20 format will not be able to play ODI or Test cricket. All three formats are very different and require different skills. T20 has been beneficial in the growth of cricket but a country cannot only play T20 they need players to play other formats. Unfortunately, there are hardly any players outside the known teams that can play. I think slowly T20 will kill other formats of cricket no matter how hard ICC tries in the future.
The future of cricket lies in T20. We have seen that with test and odi you can't include more teams in cricket eco-system. ICC also knows that, right now we have only one team i.e. Afghanistan which is extraordinary in T20 but not not that good in ODI and test. If ICC move on with T20 then more teams will join in. I do agree that T20 is lucrative and fun to watch for all the parties, but test match isn’t that bad especially when both teams are competitive e.g. often we have seen 20+ wickets fall under a day, or the last batsman playing out a draw in difficult circumstances and such thrill usually doesn’t come while watching a T20 match. Lastly I believe that if ICC introduces the pink ball, and more night matches for ODI and Test then then it can revive Test and ODI matches, because without innovation these two formats shall cease to exist in the long run.

Punjab won the match with 4 overs to spare, so the win boosted their net run rate as well. They are at 5th spot now, behind the SRH (and SRH has played one match less than Punjab). Right now, Lucknow and Gujarat are all set to enter the next phase, which is surprising considering the fact that these two are new franchises and this is their first season. Rajasthan is at #3 with 12 points from 10 matches. But their entry to the next stage is not confirmed and they have all of their last two matches (against KKR and Mumbai).
Punjab just destroyed Gujarat in last game. GT gave target of 143 and that too because of Sai Sudharsan 65 runs, apart from that there is nothing worthy in GT batting lineup. A part from Jonny Bairstow, every batsmen in Punjab batting lineup was lucky yesterday. This loss won't have any impact on GT chances of reaching next stage but definitely its a big bonus for Punjab. I remember before the start of the IPL many had ruled out Punjab, but surprisingly they haven’t played that bad this season which shows how unpredictable IPL really can be. Also Lucknow and Gujarat are looking very strong, and maybe they’ll be facing each other in the finals?, and lastly I have a strong feeling that one of them will win the IPL title this year.

This is what we are trying to figure out that why ICC is giving more funds to teams that have 100% foreigner players over teams that have 100% native players. Its an irony that 100 years old game is still having a world cup of 8 to 10 teams. Cricket need to expand beyond these 10 countries, its need of the hour.
The reason is very simple. The headquarters of the ICC is in UAE, and the organization is being managed by people with zero connections to cricket. And there is a disproportionate influence on the ICC coming from the GCC nations, who first invented the idea of fielding teams entirely comprised of foreigners. Two decades back, the eligibility criteria was changed, under pressure from the Emirates Cricket Board (and supported by the BCCI and PCB). Anyway, I won't be surprised if the number of participants are reduced further in the future. The PCB has already suggested a 4-team super league (big 3 + Pakistan). @Sithara007 mismanagement of ICC is nothing new though officially it can’t be proved, but one who follows cricket will know many of their decisions were biased, and till they continue to be influenced by selective few boards I don’t expect any major changes soon from ICC in test or any other format. Furthermore I doubt that they’ll reduce the number of participants, and I also don’t think that Pakistan will get to play with India in test or any other format soon so the formula proposed by Pakistan won’t work either.

Gerhard Berger spoke yesterday and he said interesting things.
According to him:
Hamilton could retire after this season
Porsche has a deal done with Redbull for joining the F1
Yup exciting times ahead for Red Bull Racing but I think we'll have to wait for another 4 years tho when the engine freeze is lifted. Porsche bought 50% of RBR but I think Porsche has its hands tied and could do nothing for the team as of yet. Not sure up to what extent Porsche could help the team at a technical level. And on the rumor about Hamilton's 'retirement' I think it could depend on Mercedes' car development. If they improve it as the season goes by, Hamilton might run with his contract til 2023. He could retire then but I'm hoping to see him back where it started... At McLaren. I would also love to see him back at McLaren.Michael Schumacher in the end of his career he joined Mercedes a German team to give his expertise in developing the car and it was mostly because of him that Mercedes in the year 2014 and up had a winning car,Schumi invested a couple of years developing the car together with the technical team. Now with all the experience Hamilton has he could do the same as a bare minimum for McLaren but I would like to see him win another title with McLaren before he quits. @swogerino I wouldn’t be surprised if Hamilton called it quits, because even if Mercedes do improve their car his confidence looks shattered, plus Max and Leclerc are only getting better with each and every race hence it makes sense for him to quit at the end of the season. Furthermore even if he continues I don’t expect him to win, and I believe that he’s already achieved his legacy, hence no one will mind if he decides to retire but I hope that he yet remains a part of F1 in some capacity.

West Ham will not remain silent, they will continue to threaten the Frankfurt goal in search of the winning goal, West Ham's mistakes in the first leg make their task even more difficult in the second leg. Frankfurt will be looking to secure a place in the final, as in the Domestic league they will certainly not qualify for Europe next season. Winning the Europa League is the only shortcut that Frankfurt can take to continue to exist in Europe next season.
Don't know why am very confident that west ham are going to make it through to the final and qualify for the champions League by winning it, they have been very serious since the group stages of the competition and still in the too four race for a long period in their domestic league, they loss there last two league games ( against Chelsea and arsenal last Sunday) preparing for this match, against arsenal they drop Micheal Antonio and Soucek at the bench because those two have a big role to play in Germany on Thursday Evening. If it is really serious about going the final to win the Europa League trophy, there is no way West Ham could go wrong at home. The defeat in the first leg made West Ham has to look for 2 goals without reply at home Frankfurt, it is not easy for West Ham to find two goals at home Frankfurt, because Frankfurt also wants to appear in the final. Frankfurt also wants to win the Europa League to get a ticket to compete in Europe next season with defending champion status. Frankfurt is probably the biggest surprise of all European competitions this season. In the German league they are very far from the top and I don’t think anyone saw them in the final of this competition. I watched them in the first game against West Ham and they really impressed me with their game. They played great in defense and in counterattacks destroyed the defense of West Ham. I think they are closer to the final than the English club. I personally believe that West Ham will win and qualify for the finals, because they have shown excellent determination this season, and based on their overall performance in the Europa league this year I feel that they have a huge chance of reaching the finals. Furthermore Moyes knows that without champions league football he’ll lose Rice, hence I’m sure that he’ll do everything in his power to help West Ham reach the finals.

In the first leg match against Liverpool, Villarreal really played defensive football, but they still lost 0-2 to Liverpool. So most likely Villarreal will take the initiative to play attacking football in the second leg. Maybe it would be a risky strategy because their opponent is Liverpool, but they have no other choice when they lost by 2 goals on aggregate.
Villareal's quality is far below Liverpool. But in the second leg anything can happen. Villareal must perform as hard as he can and play without burden. They must dare to play open whatever the end result. They have the advantage of playing in El Madrigal. Of course it will increase the confidence of the players. Although it looks heavy, anything can still happen. Villarreal must have to risk it all to be offensive against Liverpool tonight. With Unai Emery’s attacking philosophy, Villarreal will throw all they can at Liverpool, because it is a contest laced with danger and a reminder that nothing should be taken for granted. Liverpool are in a good position with a 2-0 advantage and they will want to first beat past Villarreal. Although the abolition of the away goals rule gives Villarreal some hope, as they only need to win 2-0 in order to force extra time, despite how difficult it may be to envisage this Liverpool side conceding two goals in a single match to any opponent other than Manchester City in the Premier league. By risking everything because they should do it as they have no other alternatives they risk to get caught in counter attack and we all know how cynical Liverpool or any other Premier League team in general can be at scoring goals. There is a distinguishing factor that Premier League teams usually do not miss a lot of chances compared to the other major leagues teams in Europe and this tonight can be a deciding factor.Although the odd is little I have placed a bet on Liverpool to qualify further as this to me looks like the safest bet. @swogerino that’s indeed a safe bet because I too expect Liverpool to qualify easily, and if Villarreal decide to attack then it’ll only make Liverpool’s job easier for scoring goals as Villarreal defence will be left exposed. Lastly Villarreal can only play for pride, but there is no way they can beat Liverpool and progress to the finals, hence wagering on Liverpool is a smart choice provided the odds are slightly decent because I expect them to be super low.

Fulham confirmed championship title today after amazing match they scored seven goals, and Mitrovic scored two of them and now he has 43 goals in Championship! Home fans will be happy after last match in home stadium Craven Cottage and last match they can rest some players against Sheffield Utd.
So, Fulham is back to EPL to return to Championship after one season as they usually do . Or they simply switch their place with Norwich each season . Anyway, it was impossible to see such big win coming. After all, Luton is not team from bottom, they're fighting for spot in playoffs. And Mitrovic 43 goals - ok, Championship have way more rounds than most leagues, but still, it's achievement which it wil be difficult to repeat for someone. In tomorrow's game I would like to see Nottingham win - it's time for this legendary team to reaturn to EPL. Though, they're not favorites. Wil tune in 1st half to watch before Champions league. @LTU_btc let’s hope that Fulham can hold on to Mitrovic, because chances are that big clubs maybe interested in purchasing him after seeing his heroics in the championship league. Furthermore if they get relegated this year again then I’ll be disappointed, because they have so much potential and they can definitely give a tough times to other premier league teams.

Eh guys, I was so sure I picked my latest MajSev but seems like I didn't after all. No matter, since the guys I went for ended up not on the scoresheet (Salah, I think he's saving it for the finals heh).
Anyway, good luck to the rest. Games look thick and heavy and I have a feeling we'll get a late flurry of goals. Saka, Kane, Salah, sure picks!
3/4 more rounds for me to make $10k, no problem cause it's going to be special ha ha
@buywaytress don’t give up the season ain’t over yet, and I’m sure that you’ll use the experience from these season matches to finally unlock the right picks so just keep on trying. Also I would suggest you to opt for Son instead of Kane, because I feel that the former is better this season, and lastly Salah and Saka are definitely good picks.

As always, he is unbeatable again! panjul07 has already made 500k+ spins in this round. 31+ hours left until the end of first round. I think he will make more than 650k+ spins in this round. More than 13 million bets has been placed by the top 5 rank user of PlayBetr! ^^Yeah LFC_Bitcoin, I'd love for Real to be in the final purely for selfish reasons. I think it'd be equally hard to win against either them or City. On the plus side, we'd be the underdogs (again) against City, and that's really how we'd prefer to operate.
I really do not believe that there is any underdogs at that level. If you reached finals of UCL then the two teams are equals and will always be equals in my mind. Even a few years ago when Spurs was in the finals and everyone believed it was impossible for them to get the cup, I still believed it was 50-50% because in a single game match I would not bet on anyone to be a guaranteed thing. What I believe is the same -- we are as good as City, and can match them any day, 1 win and 2 draws in the last meeting does underline how close it is, but the odds on all past 3 games have always put City as the favourite, even if barely so (about 2/1 as opposed to Liverpool 3/1 or more). So it doesn't matter what I or you believe, the odds prove where the money is, even if I'm sure Liverpool has the bigger fanbase, the money's on City. I agree that City vs LFC will be 50-50% deal for sure, there isn't any guarantee at all, maybe FA cup made Liverpool look like they are much better but at the end of the day it was FA cup and at this stage with such tightly packed schedule, not everyone cares about FCA up that much, LFC didn't neither to be fair but apparently City didn't even harder.
I wouldn't be shocked at a Madrid vs Villareal final neither and would literally give 50-50% on that too, I agree with that but still... Real would win that one to be fair, I mean yes it is just one game but do you really think that Madrid would lose that? So, all we have to do is base our bets on what looks like a better possibility even if you think it's equals on paper.
I would be disappointed if it’s not City vs Liverpool or Real Madrid vs Liverpool in the finals, because I don’t expect Villarreal to win or give a tough fight therefore I’m hoping for one of the above scenario. Furthermore Liverpool and City are equals and it’s an easy choice to wager on them, and let’s also hope that Steve will give us boosted odds for the return fixtures.

But has anyone tried to convert their RP for WoF? How good is the result?
Yes, I do it everyday. Just as a add-on to my daily 7 spins (+1 from email), so I have 9 in total. No, it does not bring a fortune, hehe If yo assume it brings back RPs or minimum amount of sats, let's say 50/50, it is still worth to consider doing it, even if you plan to have 100kRP for an exchange to sats. It really shouldn't bring you fortune that easily anyway, the chance to win something major is low, and even if you really won it, like won rolex, that's 15k if I am not wrong which means that it shouldn't really be a fortune. Not a low thing, not a very bad thing, it is 15k after all and that is not a bad thing, but at the end of the day we are talking about not something that should be easy and not a fortune at the same time. However, having more and more chances, so having 9 spins every single day is a great way to start obviously. It would give you the maximized profit and that is a great thing because you have a chance to turn that into cash. That Rolex is a good prize and give you like 0.000055 Satoshis of daily interest or about 0.021 Bitcoin in a year as interest with today prize of Bitcoin just a bit over 38.000 dollars. The problem is that prize has never fallen here and as far as I know the only prizes that are won are in some very rare cases Amazon gift cards while the Rolex and the Iphone I haven't heard of anyone winning them. So you have heard from someone here that they got this Amazon gift card. I only know winning high RPs, LTs and satoshis. But never encountered yet about Amazon gift card nor rolex or iPhone. Anyway, freebitco is already generous in my opinion. Letting their users claim those free satoshis and now increasing the chance of getting more by this WoF. It is one of the first crypto sites that I knew of and up until now, they are still doing great sustaining their business. I too convert my RP for WoF and after doing it for a while I feel that one can earn a positive ROI, because at times I hit a big amount of RP, and other times I get Satoshis. Also I too haven’t read anyone hitting those, and it’s quiet possible that I may have missed the post about someone winning IPhone or Rolex, but for now I’m assuming that no one won those items here.
