1801  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: the most profitable coin if invested? on: February 01, 2018, 04:59:37 PM
I am eager to invest for now. But, I am still confused which coin should I choose. so much of his coins are good to invest.
I just want to get the best coin among the good ones to invest ..
please me, give me feedback.  Huh
I will advise you to go through there historical data and information in other to find out how there have performed in the past as most of these coins has developed over time. If you study the data very well you will find opportunities among those that have reaching buying position and those that are at the strong support level.
However, my study revealed to me that Neo, stratis, bitcoin cash and zcash are some of the best coins you can buy now and make good profits by the end of this year. I will still advice that you should do personal study very well before investing into any coin as your views on them also matter.
1802  Economy / Speculation / Re: european soccer star to be paid salary partially with bitcoin on: February 01, 2018, 02:47:45 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/turkey-football-chairman-proud-to-hire-player-for-bitcoin-in-new-first

also a charity auction to meet the worlds greatest soccer player will be carried out through bitcoin!
Nice to hear this as this may influence the price of bitcoin that is getting bearish at alarming rate and we should expect the price to get to it feat some months to come. A lot of speculations that affect bitcoin price now and we would need serious investment and people to refuse to sell for bitcoin to get back on the bullish momentum.
1803  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: jibrel network on: February 01, 2018, 12:47:00 PM
in around 2h jibrel network will be listed on a few exchanges. this token will probably do very good and if the starting price is low i would buy it, prepare your eth.
Op, were will jibrel network will be listed as I have interest to buy it if it get to exchangers and also to buy it from the bounty hunters that may like sell off? I have promote this project on the twitter and I think there are one of the few ico that succeed then and I believe it is going to do well in future. If you can send me personal massage when it is listed I will seriously appreciate it.
1804  Economy / Speculation / Re: this is the drop i have been waiting for on: February 01, 2018, 12:07:05 PM
still dropping.....whats the bottom?

it went

5x down in 2013 so ? 20k ---> 4K?
I was thinking that bitcoin will go up since yesterday only to find out that bitcoin is getting seriously dropping. If the current bearish momentum continue then bitcoin may test 200 MA at $7500 and if that point hold then we would witness revise and the bullish momentum may resume. I have tried to hold till now and I will not sell off even if bitcoin full to $4,000.
1805  Economy / Economics / Bitcoin, how far it can go! on: January 31, 2018, 08:27:57 PM
In 2018, we are having a lot of issues relating to cryptocurrencies and most of these issues are regulations and governments trying to centralized Bitcoin by establishing control over it.
I am thinking if Bitcoin can actually fight on as we can see from the pricing of recent that Bitcoin has been dropping and it is finding it difficult to recover. How far can Bitcoin go? Has governments using the tools' of regulation to control Bitcoin pricing working for them? Your opinion will be appreciated and if you make a good view about what is happening you will get merit from me. Thanks.
1806  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why is the price of most coins decreased? on: January 30, 2018, 08:14:56 AM
altcoin price decreased by some of the day before the best price was the price of loss at the back of any because there are please say, and at this time investment to be
I don't understand what you are actually trying to say but I think that one thing  I  understand is your heading or topic that you have created. The demand for crypto currencies are decreasing because of the bad and fake news we are having all over social medias and bitcoin forum. South Korea did not ban bitcoin and altcoins as it is been promoted on social media and for your information USA is not planning to ban crypto currencies but this is what people are promoting.
1807  Economy / Speculation / Re: future bitcoin? on: January 30, 2018, 07:32:11 AM
It does have a chance to reach higher but it won't have a better % year than last because those type of gains are out of the question.
I don't think you are right as bitcoin is going to go as high as $100,000 this year according to some speculators! This time last year many were saying that bitcoin is not going to make a good progress but you can see were we are today. I will pray we should make more progress this year more than what happened last year as the progress will help to make more confident than last year.
1808  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC broke the triangle on: January 29, 2018, 12:45:22 PM
I have also see this as most of  the technical indicators are showing  an uptrend outlook. Bitcoin is going to get serious bullish momentum any moment from next week and I think we should buy now as most of the bearish tendency seeing to disappear last week. Op that you also for providing us your views and this analysis because it has give hope to me and some of the things I was having in my mind concerned this market for quite some time now and I have confidence to buy now.
1809  Economy / Speculation / Re: Momentum Proves Weak OR Rising to 14,000$ on: January 29, 2018, 07:22:55 AM
4-hour chart

Only a high volume break above the trendline resistance on the 4-hour chart would add credence to the bullish doji reversal and open doors for a sustained move higher to $13,000 and $14,250.
On the other hand, rejection at the falling trendline followed by a high volume drop below $10,300 (rising trendline support on the 4 - hour chart) could yield re-test of last week's low of $9,005.
That said, only a daily close (as per UTC) below $10,391.02 (50 percent Fibonacci retracement of 2017 low to 2017 high) would revive the bearish outlook.[1]

Bullish doji reversal was confirmed yesterday but so far bitcoin has been unable to generate the follow through necessary to declare that the bottoming process is complete.[1]

Based on the analysis of the writer. What are your expectations for the price in the coming days Do you think that an adjustment of the corrections will occur or whether the price will rise?

Source: https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-bull-reversal-sighted-momentum-proves-weak/
The bottom momentum is not yet complete and I believe there is going to be still a retest of 10,000 dollars trading area . I have see how the bull tried to take over from the bear yesterday but later get week because of some news that flows into the market. Bitcoin is going to develop a very strong momentum for the next upward push and that may start by next week.
1810  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is stuck at $10k dollars, what is wrong with you people? on: January 29, 2018, 07:09:23 AM
December was very good but in January you lost your faith.
Give us some faith or it won't reach $20k.
Keep it going up people.  Show some confidence.
The bitcoin's pricing has started appreciating and we should used this time to gather a good momentum for future price development. I think we are at time that is called price corrections and since we are in that time we should be looking at the bottom and if the bottom is form using one of the indicator to understand then we would then enter into the market.
1811  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that Bitcoin's price will still drop nearly below $9000? on: January 28, 2018, 08:41:57 PM
I don't think this is going to happen based on the way bitcoin has performed this days.  I have seeing bitcoin tried to Break  $10,000 downward but failed several times and it has started recovery.Bitcoin falling below $9,000 is still possible but I don't think we could have that now as all the indicators proved the downward trend to be over.from now on I expect a serious price upward movement that might push bitcoin above the last high of $20,000.
1812  Economy / Speculation / Re: Transaction fees going down~ on: January 28, 2018, 08:09:14 PM
I always said that the fees we pay in December last year was a calculated attempt to undermine bitcoin as a mode of payment for goods and services. I was surprise sending $400 Last week and I only paid $4 but in December I send $500 and I paid $110   I think there is a great improvement and that is why we can see this serious changes in mining and transactions fees. I was also thinking that in this low fees continue we may see bitcoin rising in price.
1813  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you look for when buying new coins? on: January 28, 2018, 07:27:46 PM
Wanted to see what long and short term speculators look for before they take the plunge and buy into current and new coins/tokens?

I know there is variable factors including circ, volumes, chart analysis but wanted to get some
inputand successes he community has had in such a volatile environment.

Thanks!

Technical analysis is very important in crypto currencies trading and you will need to understand how things work before you can actually make it big in crypto currencies trading. I do follow candlesticks formations including stockastic indications before placing any trade. I have tried to also follow some fundamentals news about bitcoin before investing into it.
1814  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin futures market manipulation on: January 28, 2018, 07:03:50 PM
I've been thinking about Bitcoin futures that had been added to a few regular exchanges in December, and it seems that I understand how Wall Street could manipulate the Bitcoin futures market as well as Bitcoin price itself. Many people think that these futures can affect Bitcoin prices and I agree with them to a degree, though for likely quite different reasons.

We all know that Bitcoin futures are cash settled. This basically means that when the contract expires a trader's account is simply debited or credited depending on the current Bitcoin price, and no delivery of real bitcoins takes place. When people buy contracts they expect prices to rise. Conversely, when they sell contracts, they expect prices to go down.

This opens wide the doors to market manipulation. The Bitcoin futures market makers can easily see how many contracts have been sold or bought at any given moment. When the number of bought contracts substantially exceeds sold contracts, market makers can sell real bitcoins at exchanges like Bitfinex, thus moving the price down and leaving traders with losses, and vice versa.

Such manipulation could make sense if there is enough volume in the Bitcoin futures market while the price can be easily moved in the required direction. This explains how Bitcoin futures can affect Bitcoin prices, though in a somewhat convoluted or even controversial way, while the number of open contracts can then be used as a contrary indicator of sorts.

What do you guys think of this scheme?

2 mod: if this topic belongs to Speculation, please move it there!
I have never think of futures bitcoin in this way and this is a great eye opening in so many way. After going through op comments and what others are saying here I find out that bitcoin price price can really be manipulation through future trade. Since there is no really bitcoin transactions take place I think this give room for a lot of bitcoin price manipulation.
1815  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it easy to predict the price of Bitcoin in a near future? on: January 28, 2018, 07:38:08 AM
Bitcoin is a speculative market and one should know that it is  very difficult to make predictions about price movement adequately. I have been following the market since when I know about bitcoin and it has been encouraging. If we fold our hard waiting for some one to tell us when bitcoin is going to get pump in nearby future we would not be able to make an informed decision but you have to follow the trend and the upward trend has started to form now therefore you should do your on personal research to find out the right time to buy.
1816  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC price boost! on: January 27, 2018, 06:22:15 PM
Experts reveal why bitcoin is NEVER going to ZERO!

CEO of Earn.com an early cryptocurrency investor reveals why bitcoin is not going to zero.
For further details of this news, watch the video in the link below.

https://www.express.co.uk/finance/city/910566/Bitcoin-price-news-bitcoin-cash-Ripple-ethereum-cryptocurrency-latest#t=8s
Do we actually need to listen to an expert before we would  believe that bitcoin will never go back to zero. Bitcoin has been in a state of uncertainty and we actually have to believe that bitcoin is going to go as high as $60,000 to $70,000 before end of this year
1817  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most influential factor that triggers bitcoin prices to fall down? on: January 27, 2018, 06:50:43 AM
Bitcoin is very volatile. It goes up and down at no time. But I started to think what causes its values to go down. These past few days, its prices are notably lower that last year's values. Last year, I believe, during the first few months, its prices are likewise low. Do bitcoin prices go down every January to February? Does it have a logical association?
Yes I think we can actually make some connection with what happened to bitcoin prices this year and last year. As at this time last year there was a lot of uncertainty in the market and I think we should expect bearish market every January and February if the samethhing happened next year.  Moreover most things that happened around this time that has affected bitcoin price are regulations issues and mining fees.
1818  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: January 27, 2018, 06:29:54 AM
I am across the road of decision with the same thing you have said and for the past one year I have made significant progress in both knowllege and financial benefits from cryptocurrency but I am still keeping my day job because of the family. I see my day job as being secure than my cryptocurrencies markets trading and investment. However, by this time next year I am going to embark on a serious mind analysis in other to make a serious investments decision.
1819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Downward trend after 1/26/18 CME expiration? on: January 27, 2018, 06:06:59 AM
Well you guys and gals many predicted that we would shoot up on the 26th, well I'm still waiting and I checked a few minutes ago and BTC is now in the $10k range... I'm starting to think we'll continue down in this bear trend to around $8-$9k and then many will buy in there and end all this lolly gagin around, come on BTC let's go to the moon already! Any educated opinions on why we haven't shot up yet? And are we gonna experience a bigger pullback than 50%?
We should expect market reactions during cme expiration, the fall was expected and I can see it is a little one and not very serious. However, bitcoin has started recovery from that yesterday dip and it is currently above $11,000 as at this morning. I think we should expect another dip on 30th as another event like this formal will still and from there bitcoin will start to make another significant progress and recovery.
1820  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why some altcoins will give you more profits than Bitcoin. on: January 26, 2018, 07:13:06 PM
Well, that's kinda obvious - some are just very new - so their real price is unknown and there is always a possibility for a big X-growth. Bitcoin now has become kinda classical - it probably won't grow like x10-40 - I don't believe in it, while there are still many altcoins with x10+ potential.
You said the truth and it will be very difficult for bitcoin to make ×40 gain within a month and most of the new coins do make ×100 to ×500 in a month that there are be listed in some popular exchange like poloniex and bittrex. If you know how things work in crypto currencies I think it is better one should buy altcoins instead of bitcoin now if your aim is to make profits.
