18041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: QTZ Quartz FOR THE MINERS on: April 26, 2015, 06:53:03 AM
This is horrible. Shows how people will just mine anything these days.

When I clicked on the thread I assumed it was the Quark algo, nowhere does the dev even mention SHA256.

I'm I the only one here who is getting dizzy looking at all those colors and fonts in the OP posts.

Also some of the signature campaigns have to many flashy graphics also.,

I remember mining this coin about a year ago and hitting the jackpot. It was like $150 or so.

Too bad this coin is dead.

Man, i hate the guy who rents all the hashrate and mines SLING at 3ph/s and makes mining unprofitable for everybody else, including himself.

Its einstein, you can meet up this guys here lol

Unless he is planning on holding the coin till it hits like 75K sats, he would be better off buying it off Bittrex then paying to mine it, I don't understand.

Looks like the party at Westhash/Nicehash is completely over. The payout value is now .0104. It's now down to less than 1500TH, compared to well over 4000TH earlier in the week. My lone SP20 has given up on Westhash.

Maybe a new party is starting. Nicehash/Westhash is showing rentals at 30% over straight BTC at the moment.

Kind of too bad because I was looking forward to a nice relaxing stint over at slush's pool. Oh well.

philipma1957's conspiracy theory is starting to look pretty good...

Unless of course the real conspiracy is that the rental sites are behind all the new sha256 alt intros ;-)

No idea what coin they are renting the rigs for? I haven't seen any new SHA256 coins.

18049  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] [RARE] RareBit - SHA256 on: April 23, 2015, 02:49:50 PM
Nice another SHA256 coin which will max out Nicehash rig rentals.

Don't know why everybody is complaining about this coin. If you are a miner you would of made great money on this coin, especially if you rented some rigs.

But yes, wasn't a good coin to hold. What happened to TRON, 8BIT, NTRN, should of been a warning to you that it probably wasn't going to be a great long term hold.

The prior coins were also SHA256 coins and came out days prior, and they couldn't hold their value then why would SLING.

Looks like the MinerPools is back online!

Spread the hashrate

So you only get a percentage from the POS not the POW when running a mastermode?

As said in the OP.

You get 67% of all the staking coin on the network regardless from pos and pow.

Any staking coins on the network you split it amongst the masernodes.

So per block I get about 0.89 sling.

Right now im doing about 240 slings per day

How do you find out currently how many masternodes are out there?
18057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SLING | LAUNCH | SHA 256 | PoW PHASE STARTING NOW | POS Masternodes | ANON on: April 22, 2015, 12:50:53 AM
It's absolutely absurd that such a high amount of coins are required for a masternode when it's very clear there were so many blocks instamined on this coin.  AT LEAST 51, look at the post history.  I'd love to know how many the dev and his team are holding and pulling in on their masternodes.

Currently only 523203 coins are out

Something is messed up with minerpools

Its FORKED!!!

Current block is like 250. WTF!

WTF.  I'm renting miners for this, how long has this been down for?  How the F are we going to recover our mined coins that weren't transferred yet?  This is a problem dev.

At least an hour
