18121  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Bombarding North Korea with connected smartphones on: September 13, 2017, 01:11:57 AM
I am quite confused about this. What about the network providers? This will never work, as the North Koreans will jam the existing networks. And they will never allow signals from the new networks. Another thing is that they may make the possession of smartphone punishable by death in the DPRK (no joke, fat boy Kim is so mad that he can do things like these).
18122  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHY NOT ALLOW MEN TO MARRY MORE THAN ONE WIFE LIKE MUSLIMS DO on: September 13, 2017, 12:35:35 AM
I don't have any issues with polygamy. If the polygamous union is consensual, then why we should worry? And people like Hugh Heffner are allowed to have up to a dozen girlfriends at the same time. So it seems like polygamy is widely accepted across the globe, although marital polygamy still remains as a taboo outside the Islamic world.
18123  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: September 13, 2017, 12:32:23 AM
Castrate them then hang them. Unlike other heinious crime like murder and homicide,  which can be trigerred by deep and uncontrolled anger, there is just no justification or reason for rape. Rape is something only sick minds can do. So a sick punishment is fair enough.

Castration must be the minimum mandatory punishment. This is to make sure that the criminal does not repeat his crime, even if he is released from prison. Being a female, I must say that rape is far worse than murder or homicide. Murder is relatively quick and may be over in a matter of few seconds. But the trauma and scars from a rape can last an entire lifespan.
18124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Bitcoin dies does altcoin die? on: September 12, 2017, 02:21:44 AM
Altcoins would not really die, but it would lose some of its power and it may be not good enough to invest in different altcoins because I think altcoins depend on the value of bitcoin. Without bitcoin how would you convert and get your salary in the form of altcoins? You need an exchanger in order to officially accept your salary and then you can do anything you want with it.

You are 100% right about the second part. Most of the altcoins can be purchased only with BTC. They can't be purchased with fiat currency (in most cases). And yes... IMO, the altcoin bubble is just about to burst. There are so many altcoins with a market cap of more than 1 billion USD, and this is simply not sustainable in the long term.
18125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it true that most of the new real money into crypto is coming from korea? on: September 12, 2017, 02:18:16 AM
During the past 2-3 months, there has been a spike in demand from both Japan and South Korea. The spike in Japan was caused by the legalization of Bitcoin there. But IMO, the sudden surge in South Korea was caused by the tensions with the DPRK. The southerners are worried that their currency may get devalued. So they are moving their wealth to some safe asset.
18126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin get back to it's first time value? on: September 12, 2017, 02:13:44 AM
With constant speculation about the value of bitcoin, China claiming to ban exchanges of bitcoin, and some banks trying to create their own blockchains for their countries, What will happen to bitcoin if this become true? Will it be still used ? will it not be worthy anymore ?

With some 10 million individuals using Bitcoins, there is a limit up to which the prices can fall. IMO, even in a catastrophic scenario, the prices can't fall by more than 50%. I am saying this because I know that strong demand exists even now among the institutional and non-institutional buyers for Bitcoin. And they will use each and every dip as an opportunity to accumulate Bitcoins.
18127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if holding the bitcoin becomes illegal? on: September 12, 2017, 02:11:36 AM
If Bitcoin ever gets made illegal you just throw your coins in a strong altcoin, litecoin or Ethereum.

LOL.. Do you really think that the authorities are that stupid to allow the possession of altcoins, that too after banning the Bitcoin? If they are going to ban, then all the crypto-currencies including Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Ripple, Deeponion, Monero and Zcash will be banned. It is not like they are banning one crypto-currency and allowing the use of another.
18128  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: September 12, 2017, 02:07:09 AM
Global warming is undeniably real. In fact, it is becoming worse each passing time. The heat during summer days is unbearable in tropical countries. The sun is scorching hot and my skin suffers so badly. I am actually worried about our future, if I think Earth is extremely polluted now, what more in the coming years? So I suggest that we all help the nature. Let us not contribute to this dilemma. Be good citizens and sons of God.

It has already reached a stage where nothing can be done to prevent it. And the biggest joke is that despite all this, countries such as India and China continue to burn coal to generate electricity. Thermal power plants and deforestation are the most important reasons for the global temperature rise. We immediately need to close down the thermal power plants.
It's very saddening that we have come to a point in time that we are experiencing this Global Warming and we can't do anything to make it stop. I mean, we can do something about it but it will just delay the timeframe of the destruction that will happen. If only we found out about it years back. We might not experience it today.

Considering that most of the damage has been done during the past 40-45 years, we can't afford to wait for another 50 years. Coal fired power plants should have been banned many decades back. But countries such as India and China are allowed to operate them, saying that the developing nations need cheap electricity so that the lives of the residents could improve.
18129  Other / Politics & Society / Re: If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school? on: September 12, 2017, 02:00:24 AM
Its not just socialization, it's about building your strategy on how to pass your exam (except studying). How to whip your groupmates into shape when doing a project. The exact calculations of throwing a spitball. These cannot be learned in homeschool...

Another important aspect is the diversity in views and tactics. If the kid is homeschooled, then he will get different opinions just from his father and mother. But if he goes to the school, then he may be able to get different opinions from dozens of teachers, in addition to a large number of co-students. This another advantage in formal education.
18130  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: September 12, 2017, 01:56:01 AM
Muslim are not all bad..because i have many muslim friend here in philippines and all are very kind and religions belief.they are simple human like us.so dont think or believe all muslim are bad.always give me foods and always advice me to good other people and other religion.

Some of the Muslims may look very peaceful and calm on the outside. But it takes just 5 minutes to expose their hypocrisy. You can ask the following questions to any Muslim male, and notice their reaction:

1. If some non-Muslim marries your sister, would you accept him?
2. If your brother turns out to be a gay, would you still love him?
3. If your son converts to Christianity, would you still allow him to speak to you?
18131  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: September 12, 2017, 01:41:37 AM
We need a lot more people in the world. Why? Did you ever see a teacher in a classroom at school? She can handle a dozen kids much easier than 2 dozen, and way easier than 3 dozen.

The people who are trying to rule the world need a low population so that they can control the world easier. That's why they are promoting all this nonsense about over-population.

Get out of the city sometime, into the wide open countryside, and see how much more space is there than you would have realized.

With aquaponics and seasteading, we would easily have room for 100 billion on the planet.

Cool

I just hope that you are joking. The world definitely can't sustain a population of 7 billion+ and here you are talking about a population of 100 billion. Over-population is the cause of conflicts around the world, be it on the middle-eastern nations such as Syria or in African nations such as Congo. More population means more warfare and chaos.
18132  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Lets play the North Korean propaganda film 'where did they steal it from?' game! on: September 12, 2017, 01:30:23 AM
Seems like the North Koreans are not as good as the Americans in the propaganda war. A few years back, some of the mainstream media sources reported how the FBI screened and suggested changes to the Hollywood films, before they were released to the public. And these movies were used to brainwash the people living in the third world nations.
18133  Other / Politics & Society / Re: world war III : north korea VS USA on: September 12, 2017, 01:11:43 AM
They are just two unrealistic leaders who are benefiting from international crises. I don't believe neither of them can dare to start a war that will atleast affect the half of the world with using a nuc. I don't see this happening.

Both of them are crybabies and that is a good thing. Trump just want to improve his approval ratings, which has stayed below the 50% mark ever since he was elected as the president. And Kim Jong Un want to show to the North Koreans that he is a very strong leader. Both of them realize how a war can negatively impact them. So it will be just provocations and no real war.
18134  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who is the best president and leader this generation? on: September 12, 2017, 12:51:21 AM
I would go with Barack Obama. He was one of the most pacifist presidents of the United States, and he withstood intense pressure from Israel, to opt out of military action against Iran.

He's just a puppet of the Rotchschild and Rockefeller. I will choose Putin as the best president and leader in this generation.

Completely agreed with that. Obama was a puppet controlled by powerful politicians such as Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden on the one hand, and oligarchs such as Soros, Rotchschild and Rockefeller on the other hand. He didn't had much power in his hands. That was why he was always seen playing golf, whenever some natural catastrophe affected the United States.
18135  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: September 12, 2017, 12:49:26 AM
An alcohol renders negative influence practically on all organs of man, however the strongest and destructive is the harm inflicted to the cerebrum. The alcohol, contained in beer, guilt or vodka, is sucked in blood, together with a blood stream gets in a human brain, where the process of intensive destruction of cortex begins.

More than 50% of the world population consumes alcohol (I think that the only major exception is the Muslims). And I have never heard about these groups getting any permanent brain damage (with the exception of severe alcoholics). What you had posted is true only in the case of alcohol addicts. Moderate consumption doesn't lead to any brain damage.
18136  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you believe all muslims are bad? on: September 12, 2017, 12:46:03 AM
In France , muslim don't like the country and white people ...
Yes, not everyone  but most of them spit on the french flag
Always because of the colonialist past of France  Sad

In France, there is the typical Muslim immigrant situation. France accepted a lot of Muslim immigrants in the 1960s and 1970s, hoping that they will integrate in to the society. But they never integrated. On the other hand, the second and third generation immigrants seems to be even more radical and fanatical than the first generation individuals.
18137  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What are the Most Peaceful Countries? on: September 12, 2017, 12:44:21 AM
Hmm lets see dont know about peaceful 100% but in my eyes countries that are not trying to get into wars actively are (in no particular order) :

1) Canada
2) Switzerland
3) Denmark
4) Finland
5) Sweden

#5 in the list definitely don't belong there. Sweden has replaced South Africa as the rape capital of the world many years ago. The Somali, Afghan and other Muslim immigrants have turned cities such as Malmo as no go zones for the native Swedes. Unfortunately, the neighboring Finland is also slowly moving in the direction of Sweden.
18138  Economy / Economics / Re: Are cryptocurrencies better than regular currency on: September 11, 2017, 02:26:17 AM
There is no point in comparing crypto-currency with fiat cash. Both are having their own advantages and disadvantages. The biggest issue with crypto-currency is their volatility. Also, there are multiple prices, as there is not one single exchange. The lack of acceptability is another issue with crypto-coins. Even now, less than 1% of the shops accept them.
18139  Economy / Economics / Re: Holdings of gold vs Holdings of btc on: September 11, 2017, 02:19:29 AM
Holding of bitcoin and holding of btc has lots of difference. So, its the user who decides based on the necessity. For the one who expects an increased income with much risks in it prefer bitcoin, while the people who expect security for the holdings unlike the profiting prefers gold. This tendency might change when bitcoin gives an assurance of 100% risk free in terms of hacking and other encounters.

I don't think that Bitcoin can ever be 100% risk-free. And no asset is 100% risk-free in my opinion. Do you think that physical gold is free from all the risks? It can be stolen, or even confiscated by the government. Even the United States treasury bonds are not 100% risk free. What if the American government defaults on the debt, although the possibility is quite minimal?
18140  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: September 11, 2017, 02:13:40 AM
Till now I haven't heard anyone using Bitcoins for the payment of bribes. Perhaps the bureaucrats and the government officials are not tech savvy enough to accept the bribes in Bitcoin. But rather than Bitcoin, I would suggest anonymous currencies such as BlackBytes, DeepOnion and Monero for this purpose. Because I doubt that Bitcoin is 100% anonymous.
