1821  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Hashing 24 - Mining. Official support service. on: November 14, 2016, 05:03:02 PM
DO NOT LET SCAMMERS take a single satoshi from you, bleed them dry. They re hurting such a beautiful industry which crypto is. EXPOSE scammers!
1822  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to start a store like amazon on: November 14, 2016, 05:00:27 PM
and we have a new Bill Gates among us. He wants to start a new Amazon. Hahaha

Do you really think this is that easy? Since you do have only 3 posts, I d suggest you read a lot about crypto before you do anything. Taxes, shipping, marketing, refunds, etc. Have you considered all these aspects?
1823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 14, 2016, 04:58:08 PM
Can someone please advise me as to where is the first place that official FACTOM news is announced? Is it here? Twitter? Reddit?

The problem is unlike other projects that we are used to, Factom is not involved in the Bitcointalk community. They honestly do not care about the 0.5 BTC some people invest, because they don't need our money and they are too mainstream and professional to entertain non English speaking plebs like the majority of the people here; in return it is very easy to spread FUD and create rumors here because no one officially intervenes. With that being said, take no advice from this thread, do your own independent research on Factom outside of Bitcointalk and it's users opinions, and make your own decision if want to sell, buy or trade this coin.

Once more, I do not think they do not care and it would not be prudent to think that way. Cause unhappy investors can do A LOT OF DAMAGE to the final project. There re at least 2-3k of us here. That s the price you pay for raising money the way they did.

I can understand we re not their target group but intentionally not caring for us would be a very stupid move.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin transactions - Slow OR Fast on: November 13, 2016, 03:12:53 PM
This  Bitcoin lighting project should be the end for slow transaction cause each month and year, things re getting slower and slower. Anyway, I see BTC as a store of value not as every day currency. But some speed would be good.
1825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is there to do with bitcoins these days ? on: November 13, 2016, 01:24:51 PM
OP s right, I remember days a few years back when there were so many opportunities to make money in crypto. Now, most of the good stuff s been saturated. I really hope Xmas period s going bring some movement in crypto industry cause it s BORING!
1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: November 13, 2016, 10:37:01 AM
It will be surpased by other, more developed crypto currencies. If you look back, two years ago neither Ether not Factom existed. Now they re quite important parts of crypto community. Everything changes.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 13, 2016, 09:44:27 AM
FCT is looking holding strong now and it really looks like it's about to breakout.

Nah, just another wave of ping pong. Next breakout will be in a couple of weeks, just before M2. In the meantime, speculators ll take advantage of noobs and pump and dump the price.
1828  Economy / Securities / Re: BetKing.io - FOR SALE - 7100 BTC PROFIT - Bitcoin gambling site on: November 13, 2016, 07:38:18 AM
There should not be a problem. It s clearly stated investors will receive their funds back BEFORE the sale. If it ever takes place. So no need to spread FUD.
1829  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would be nice crypto portfolio for the future? on: November 13, 2016, 07:36:57 AM
Instead of that, I d buy only Factom. I think this coin s going to have bright future, going up at least 5x. I ve been into crypto since 2012 and I usually know what I m talking about. Still, do your own research but check Factom thread.
1830  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should i Trust Genesis Mining on: November 13, 2016, 07:18:55 AM
meandering away from the logical answer of cloudmining is very shady.
there is another point that should be raised.

imagine you did find a legit cloudmining business. (requires alot of imagination Cheesy)

mining bitcoin
based on the last 6 months some maths has been done
based on a 13thash asic over 6 months, it returned 0.47btc mined over 6 months
converting it to fiat, thats about $340 for 6 months mining bitcoin

so easy maths. 0.47btc / 13thash = 0.03615385 per Thash return after 6 months ($26/Thash)
as for the next 6 months. unless you are getting a contracts for far less than $26/Thash dont expect to break even in 6 months

altcoin mining
however if you are altcoin mining.. well throw a dart at any number and treat that as expected returns.(meaning no guarantees/no predictions).

though cloudmining alone is very shady, even if you found a legit company.. the returns wont be as expected
your better off just buying bitcoin and holding.

then where do you recommend me to invest?
except for trading and casinos, i don't think that there are any ways to invest in bitcoin
i am a beginner btw so if you have any tips then please... TEACH ME MASTER

Hah, if making money in crypto would be that easy, we d all be next Donal Trump. Smiley

Nobody here s going to give you free of charge advice to the ways of making money. Cause if we do, we re just creating direct competition and potentially causing saturation of our investments. Good luck bud.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: November 13, 2016, 07:16:16 AM
He did say all investors would be paid out before the sale takes place so no issue should arise there.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 13, 2016, 07:13:44 AM
Really? So this means we re irrelevant from Factom viewpoint?

Bought in bnktothefuture and own fct, still don't think there's any need to rush, do it right the first time. Can't see any problems with testnet so far, but too many crypto companies rushing things out the door. DAO anyone? There's no need for these guys to hurry, they aren't DASH/XMR/ZCASH all fighting it out in the same space.
Plenty of people think there's competitors, but have looked at them all and they ain't even playing the same game, yet to see one viable alternative who offers anything close to what Factom does. Take my dollars well seriously hey and this my observations.

Really don't mind, personally. Let them do what they do, seems to be working out fine for them.

Sure I want a good, finished product. Sure, I want it to be bug free. Sure, I understand we re not Factom target group.

But I do mind if somebody where I invested my money does not care about me, according to you. It s the heart of capitalism, investors and customers should never be put aside. Cause both groups can damage the company.
1833  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 12, 2016, 08:08:45 PM
Investing in casinos is much better than gambling in them, that's for sure. The odds are in your favor and depending on the size of the bankroll, the risk can be too.
I guess both have the same risk but yes more profitable investment compared to gamble but you must selective selecting the sites where you want to put money or not you will suffer losses because these sites carry away your money.

Gambling for fun s fine but the main problem is when one loses control, then it becomes a diseases. Control your gambling habits, always stay in control.
1834  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io - NEW DESIGN! Most trusted and popular crowdfunded Bitcoin Dice site on: November 12, 2016, 08:07:17 PM
The site s been doing well, definitely number 1 casino. Don't understand why you try to sell it.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 12, 2016, 06:30:46 PM
I plan on holding my FCT for around 3 years by which time I expect Factom to have made some big deals and have high entry credit usage.  If I've learned anything from the past few years its to keep holding longer than feels natural.  If you can 'out-hold' the rest of the market on a good investment, you win.  This is one of the major reasons its easier to make more money if you already have plenty because you are less emotionally involved, so you can just leave it where it is and keep holding for much longer without feeling anything.  This is from someone who is up about x20 from their original investment into crypto a number of years ago.  I would have been up more like x100 if I'd kept holding, won't make that mistake again.

Hmmm, I have a completely different experience. I kept holding in many cases when candles were red, expecting rebounds. In most cases, they never came. I m also at least 15x up compared to my initial investments. However, it took me time to understand when to get out as well as when to get in. I hope I ve learned to follow red candles as well.
1836  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Should i Trust Genesis Mining on: November 12, 2016, 05:22:21 PM
NO, NO and NO. There s no single individual who made money with them. You just pay them to expand their own farms. BS cloud mining. Better try some other company.
1837  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: November 12, 2016, 05:07:00 PM
Finance wallet has and will always have a minimum 10 BTC deposit requirement. I'm on month 12 and very happy with the interest earned.  Naturally their interest rate has had to decrease due to the squeezing of profit margins for their mining operations. Competition is tight in this market so to offer any interest is still a positive.

I generally agree with you, passive interest of any kind is better then nothing. Still, if you re into crypto for a long time like I am, there re several better paying options. However, most of these options re also riskier. So, it all comes to down to risk vs reward.

When I try to turn on 2fa, I dont get to scan that barcode. All I get is an empty white box. Anyone else having this issue?

There is a code just write the code down for as your back up, manually input code into the authenticator app.

Yes, yes, I know, I set it up. Just it seems barcode s broken so reporting it here.

1840  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is investing in mining still worth it? on: November 12, 2016, 10:16:14 AM
All this is BS talk. If you re capable to invest millions, then mining s something you should pursue since competition s really harsh. If not, if you d like to be a home miner, then build a few rigs and have fun, you ll probably make some money but this can't be your solid and constant source of income.
