Eu vi num tweet antigo da Ledger onde ela afirmava que um update de firmware não conseguiria extrair as chaves privadas, e alguns meses depois (ontem dia 17) ela mesmo fala que:
Sempre foi possível tecnicamente fazer um update para a firmware, para facilitar a extração das chaves 

Bem contraditório o que ela está fazendo.
Nesse ponto eu acho que seria melhor ela assumir logo que errou feio e não lançar nenhum desses serviços. Agora se ficar batendo nessa tecla, a comunidade já está desacreditando no projeto.
E como eu já disse, nunca é bom quando acontece essas coisas pois pode escalar para problemas maiores ainda.

Eu sempre fui usuário assíduo de fóruns, e vários tem/tinham algum tipo de rank.
É bom pra saber quem são usuários mais ativos, antigos, e com mais reputação, como você mesmo disse. Então quando tem algum conteúdo de usuário com mais rank, geralmente é mais relevante, não só porque ele é mais antigo, mas porque é um usuário que se dedicou mais ao fórum e leva mais a sério.

Sem contar é óbvio que as campanhas levam totalmente em consideração o ranking dos usuários, mas não somente pelo rank em si, mas pelo que falei, porque é um sinal de dedicação ao fórum.

Eu sempre dou uma olhada lá na aba services e nas campanhas em geral (além de acompanhar a minha campanha bem de perto pra ver se tem alterações, novos requisitos etc) e percebi que os gerentes estão sempre olhando bem de perto as postagens e os merits dos usuários, isso está contando bastante.

Um gerente admite um user legendary por exemplo, e esse ganha uns 2 ou 3 merits por mês, o gerente provavelmente vai olhar mais de perto ainda o que esse user está postando pra ver se tem conteúdo ou não.
Os merits não são somente importantes pra entrar nas campanhas, mas também pra se manter.
É bom nunca se acomodar hehehe

Após algumas semanas e várias encomendas que fiz pra pelo menos ter um pouco de estoque se nada mais passar, confirmo que tive só 2 encomendas taxadas nesse período inicial mesmo
