you know its kinda funny how nobody plans for the normal highs and lows of an ecomonic system when structuring block rewards. if people would use half their brain when designing this coins they'd end up with a coin worth having

Done whining?

More like done offering you advice, since you clearly cannot be reasoned with. Good luck with your coin though. i have no doubt you will see a sudden exodous of hashrate when NanoToken is released Smiley

r3wt

We are open to advice but every comment so far has been how bad this coin is or we are "people with half a brain"

Huh, wow. I guess I should have copied WorldCoin, named it GlobalCoin, Made a ridiculously large block reward, failed to release my source code on time, lied about my premine, and pooched my whole launch. Maybe my coin would have been given a fair chance Roll Eyes

Maybe your Premine of 108,000 coins? with 1-20 block rewards. Ours max 25k, put straight into bountys.... I made your logo for mastercoin, refrain from coming in here complaining about GLC just because its not exchangeable yet, Source code was on time there was an error after 30 mins in to launch and had to be reosolved. And as for premine I will not say this again, ALL PRMINE WENT INTO BOUNTY.

Chin up

There was a limited amount of "pre-mining" for testing but be aware all funds from that are being used for bountys. And no its not like we mined 5 million coins genisis blocks
No one would have been mad about this if you had told so from the beginning. Just saying.

Dude we didnt go out intentionaly premine, we just thought people would understand and see that block 0-5000 = 100GLC. Sorry to anyone that thinks we are trying to get rich from this project you are, we are not. I personally only have a few K Sad mining with 700kh as my other card's fan blade broke.

Who else but you had the client? You could cpu mine first blocks and still mine them incredibly fast. The difficulty was like 0.000087 or something. Very low.

me and mudda had the client only

This is NOT a fair launch, where developers get first 1000 or whatever blocks. It is also not a fair launch when there is no source code available.

But I will wait for block 5000 and mine some coins at 5x speed. I'll have personal pool by then, unfortunately it is not good enough for public.

The source is available, look!. There was a limited amount of "pre-mining" for testing but be aware all funds from that are being used for bountys. And no its not like we mined 5 million coins in the first 10 blocks

Can someone tell a noob proof direction how to forward the port, I am finding blocks but nothing is depositing in my wallet. Thanks in advance!

http://portforward.com/

Should be 192.168.1.1/192.168.0.1 etc to log into your router. In there you will find the port forward section, The above website has info on most routers and settings.

This really sucks!  had issues with windows client syncing.  so started after most of you.  Now I am only able to get 6000 coins.  More than 50% rejects.  and of the 50 that makes it through.. 20% orphans!!  This is wasting a lot of Mining power!!

17 blocks 3 orphans since 20:30 GMT. Try forwarding the listening port etc.

Windows client not syncing right.. stuck on 1405

Many people have this wallet synced and mining fine please check/forward ports

not really a fair launch when:

1) you launch early
2) your source link is dead

1. had to pop out so instead of releasing it late and have you moaning i released 5 mins early..
2. Source will be updated in a bit.
