1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy This Dip or Wait ? on: August 08, 2018, 09:25:54 AM
Not yet, this dip is still going down further as you see we are expecting 2 events this coming days. One is the upcoming Ghost Month which will start August 11 up to September 9. Any business decision within the Ghost Month are considered bad luck. So expect price will continue to dip just like last year. Another even is the ETF delay.
1822  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning day trading on: August 08, 2018, 09:15:11 AM
Recently I asked about day trading tips on this forum and got really nice response. Some one introduced me to Voodoo day trading community where I found perfect atmosphere to learn day trading and technical analysis: https://discord.gg/yBmNzRm  I have spent last whole week in the free channel in the group and learnt some interesting tricks and earned a decent amount of money.

Although free channel has helped me immensely so far but it feels like to reach the next level, I have to join paid channel. I wanted to ask that is it worth to pay for learning day trading or I could found free stuff instead? This forum has been a great help to me in past. I hope I will get some valuable feedback this time too.
I don't think there is a need for you to join a paid group to learn more about day trading. What are they going to offer you when you join the paid group? What you should learn in trading is more on how to read charts and technical analysis. There are Youtube videos that can teach you how to read those. If they will offer you those signals on what to buy, better stay away from those.
1823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tips to overcome depression. on: August 08, 2018, 08:50:43 AM
Those who get depressed after seeing the price of Bitcoin going down are those who invested their savings in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a high risk investment, its not for those traditional investors who will just buy, hold and sell, If you have a way to earn Bitcoins, that is much better than buying Bitcoins from your monthly salary or worst lifetime savings.
1824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ONLINE GAMBLING WILL BE BANNED IN THE PHILIPPINES on: August 08, 2018, 07:00:01 AM
I don't think there is a mere possibility that this could happen, people mainly uses gambling not only for their own basic needs or wants, it also plays a big part in the economy, and if online gambling will be banned, then I think the Philippines will be having big problems here, especially for a third world country, gambling plays a big part whether it is online or not, bitcoin or fiat, it is still heavily relied on.
I also do not think that it is so easy to happen, as  online gambling is still not banned in such countries where gambling is already an illegal activities then how can it be possible in Philippine I do not think that they can become succeeded in banning online gambling.
While the Philippine Government issued a statement a few years ago that there will be a crackdown on online games and illegal online games, we still see online games in every city here in the Philippines. I don't think this will happen. They also need the cooperation of the telecommunications company to pull this off, one of the major internet provider in the Philippines claims that they will not allow access of porn sites like Pornhub but until today, we can still access the site with out using vpn.
1825  Economy / Speculation / Re: I need more money to invest now! on: August 07, 2018, 11:42:26 PM
If I we're you, look for a way to earn Bitcoins rather than convert your fiat to Bitcoins. That way you don't touch your savings for Bitcoins and if anything bad happens with the value of Bitcoins your savings is still untouched. If you have skills or talent that you ask for Bitcoin as payment, that would be great.
1826  Economy / Speculation / Re: How far is 50k bitcoin? on: August 07, 2018, 11:31:42 PM
If you follow the trend last year and apply it this year, $50,000 is possible. Last years bull run reached 600% increase. Given the current rate of Bitcoin at $6,700 today plus 600% increase, Bitcoin could reach close to $50,000 USD. There might be bumps along the road to $50,000 but it is possible.
1827  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does positive news have any impact in bitcoin price on: August 07, 2018, 11:09:11 PM
Not all good news are picked up by the public, most of the times the negative news are given more highlight by the media. Negative news sells more. If you look at different news portals, theres a lot of good news out there. A single negative news ruins everyones goal. Just look at whats happening now.

The problem with the log-in maybe intermittent, lets wait for an official announcement from Bitsler support or admin. I tried to log-in just now and I didn't encounter any problem. There maybe an update with the site because of the upcoming promotion. Site admin "may" have tweaked the system a little bit in anticipation for those who uses bots to join the promo. But again lets wait for an official announcement. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $1000 to spend on coins. 5 years exile on a desert island. what do you buy? on: August 03, 2018, 02:53:14 AM
I'll put 80% of that $1,000 to the top 4 in the list of Coinmarketcap and it will be divided equally. The remaining 20% will go to an ICO that is highly recommended by someone who is known a trader, investor and provides good technical analysis. Long term investment is good and chances of those coins to be delisted is very low since its on the top 5.
1830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 227: Dillashaw vs Garbrandt 2 Info and Prediction Thread on: August 02, 2018, 09:01:40 PM
Garbrandt has something to prove to the MMA fans so he will try his best to win this fight, however odds makers sided on Dillashaw to win this fight. I think this fight will last the full 5 rounds as both fighters will try not to be knocked down. Dillashaw will give his best effort to keep the title. I used nitrogensports to place my bet on Garbrandt.

I cant open Bitslet now, what is going on there? I tried with both PC (chrome) and mobile but still unable to access bitsler. Just checked, but bitsler is up based on https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/bitsler.com Any other users facing the same problem with me?
Mine works perfectly fine, I was able to log-in with out any trouble aside from the usual security email that they send to the email address linked to my account since I am not using the same ip address. Other than that no problem encountered so far.
1832  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best exchange ? on: August 02, 2018, 08:26:21 PM
Hello i am newbie here and i am newly trader can someone give some information which exchange is the best for buying altcoins ?
Depends on what coin or token do you plan to buy. Not all exchange sites offer the same coin or token and not all coin or token carries the same list. There maybe an exchange site have a lot of coin or token listed but the coin or token you are looking for are not listed there. Binance, Bittrex and Kucoin are the exchange sites that I use.
1833  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have you ever exchanged BTC face to face? on: August 02, 2018, 08:13:01 PM
This happened to me one time only when a neighbor of mine who is curious of Bitcoin asked me if I can sell him $200 worth of Bitcoin. I agreed but and both of us settled with how much the price is but my neighbor want to see how the transfer will be done. Transferring $200 worth of Bitcoin is like an eternity with my neighbor looking at his watch from time to time as we check how many confirmations already.
1834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading or mining? on: August 02, 2018, 04:17:46 PM
If you have free access to electricity or at least access to cheap electricity and a willing partner who can work as an industrial partner to look after your rigs, then you can go with mining. There are 2 factors to consider when setting up even a small mining farm, those are electricity and manpower, you cant look after you mining operations all by yourself.
1835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you addicted to trading? This is for you on: August 02, 2018, 04:06:48 PM
Being called addicted to Trading is more honorable than being addicted to gambling or drugs. My family would even be proud of me as being addicted to it specially if it pays the bill, provides food for my family and brings my children to school. Maybe their target are those who continues to trade but have no money to begin with and steals money to continue trading, that's bad.
1836  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the challenges for investment with Small capital? on: August 02, 2018, 09:50:44 AM
I started with small investment too and I don't see anything wrong with it. It's just that profits will be small too and you can't even feel it, unless you got lucky and the coin that you bought pumped and the price skyrocket to 20% - 200% which is possible specially if its a good project and good news was published. Try to be on the look out for those coins that will be listed in other exchanges, there's a good chance that the price will go up once the coin is listed and go live.
1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: Chinese Investor bought 10,000 bitcoin during the dip! on: August 02, 2018, 09:18:38 AM
Imagine the damage it can do if this Chinese guy Cai Wensheng dumps his 10,000BTC all at the same time. Would that cause panic to others and Sell their BTC too? And when price of BTC goes down further, and with the ready funds Cai Wensheng have, he can buy it back at lower price and wait for the price again to recover. Possible?
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is best practice for gambling?? on: August 02, 2018, 08:54:24 AM
I would bring 3 set of money with me. 1 set for my gambling money, there should be a limit on the amount of money you spend, once you reached limit, go home. 2nd set of money is for food and drinks, yes you need to feed yourself even when you just sit there and play. 3rd set of money is your money to go home, you don't want to walk from the casino to your house don't you. Unless you are playing online, no need for the money to go home and food and drinks. But keep those credit cards or debit cards out of reach.
1839  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pump and dump tactic on: August 02, 2018, 08:37:49 AM
I would rather buy a coin that is in Red for a long time and wait for the time that it will be pumped by a group of pump and dump than join a group of pump and dump, pay a fee, wait for their signal on which coin to buy at a certain date and time. The owners are the one who gets rich in this kind of scheme because they get paid.
1840  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: August 02, 2018, 07:43:12 AM
If the game you are playing is Dice or Slots, you don't need to study for any strategy, its nothing pure luck. Those who are claiming that they have a strategy that can beat the dice games and make you rich is pure BS, the only one who will be be rich is the one selling the strategy. If its card games that you are playing you need to work on bluffing, how to bluff and how to read others body movement. Its either you are holding a good card or the other player is just bluffing.
