The April date was for Milestone #4


So that is gone to the end of this month according to the video. 1 month delay ain't bad considering other projects in the space.

However, I agree a roadmap for things to come after Milestone #4 would be good to have.

They work office hours, Monday to Friday. And there was a bank holiday last week in Switzerland.

They aren't in-game right now, the first asset COAL was given with another card at the SoG store.
Eventually they should be given also for owning an ASSET like a specific card or some achievement, etc.
I think all the options are currently being worked on and defined.

The team will know better.

Thing is there are many ways to support a project, buying BCY it's not investing in SoG or EDS, it's one's own speculative hopes.
However SoG can be supported by playing the game and introducing new people to it, talking about it, testing the beta and providing feedback, buying, selling, swapping cards and decks.
Like finishing the new Infinite level that was just added to the game... Maaan I really want to finish that, but hard and strategic, it shows how much I'm hooked into it already LOL

Cards are part of the ecosystem, there are quite a few third party card resellers (Partners) and there is a good market already supporting SoG assets.
Maybe you have missed it above, there are news of a partnership with All4Games part of the UK's Channel4 group.
From what Yodark mentioned on Slack they are reviewing the contract so that should bring a bit of fun to the party, once it all comes together.

Game development is progressing, have you played it yet? Getting more fun to play at each Testing Season, we are at #5, and you get a little reward for it out of the 20K BCY pot.
Of course there are bugs but within each testing season they get all straightened out, the game works, you get your cards in the game, you get even free cards by playing, you can fuse them, level them up...
More and more assets are being added to the gameplay and IMO from when it all started, last year, SoG is so much better off than many other projects.
You also have added strategy to consider when playing the game with all the different cards, and powers, spells, etc and the many levels.
And this is just before it even hits the Apple and Play stores. Hope they are not too far away from that, so looking forward to it.

Game is progressing at a good pace, a bug here and there but they get fixed swiftly.
They are in the midst of hitting the final milestone #4 I believe. The team can digress on that further.




I think the team appreciates the suggestion, however they have developers and designers onboard and are doing a great job IMO.
But if you come across someone of "that caliber" feel free to tell em all about SoG and put them on the right track.

Rewards have already been distributed and no there is no calculation to show how much each person gets. However you should have received what you were expected to receive based on your points.

It is something I heard being discussed previously. I personally would love some of the cards be printed too, I don't exclude maybe that could happen in the future.
Maybe some of the best cards or for new promotions. It'll be hard for EDS to print them with everyone's public key but if there could be an online tool to allow SoG users to do that themselves, then order a print that could be interesting. I would actually pay for the service.

All SoG cards are collectible items, even if the game disappears (which I hope it won't) they can be used in other games if anyone wants to. Yodark has mentioned this before.
The other good thing about SoG cards is that they don't get damaged with use like MTG physical cards so you don't have to worry about treating them well, keep them in plastic wrappers, etc.
Even if Counterparty disappears there is still a record in Bitcoin's op_return about your cards so they will always be there. And the way Counterparty works once you set a number of units for a certain asset that can't be modified so you are guaranteed by math if a card is rare it'll always be and cannot be counterfeit.

As players of SoG keep growing there will be more demand for cards and there are loads of collectors out there who are into trading cards so over time the value of some cards should increase. Surely EDS expects to have a good number of players once the game launches and thereafter, imagine 100,000 players (which is not such a big number for games) that want a card that has only 1000 units, or 700, or 300, or 200. What will happen with demand then? Do you think some people would want to get a full deck? How much will they be willing to pay for a Satoshi card?

The easiness on which you can trade SoG cards is also much better than physical cards, I see that as another advantage together with proving their authenticity.

I think that would be very wrong, companies setup agreements and they expect these to be private.
You and I are not part of SoG nor all4games so you shouldn't even ask for that, in my opinion.
Very pretentious of you to even ask.

The revenue share is  a standard within the industry it is not troublesome it's the way things work.
The game hasn't even launched yet, those BCY could be used in many different ways to setup prizes for tournaments, give rewards to users that test SoG (that is already happening), bounties, etc...
There is still a long way to go for the game to improve and be complete and after that plenty of uses for these BCY.
Having that reserve is necessary, as well as all4games getting their cut of revenue.
As Yodark mentioned if it doesn't work, after a year things can go either way.
I have confidence the team is doing the right thing with this proposal and BCY.
And the fact they ask the community before they take a decision as big as this it is a +1000 for me.

Contracts are private between companies, also SoG is not an Open Source project or a non-profit org.
I doubt it's even fair to ask that. I also doubt all4games will be thrilled if their contract gets shared online.

YAY I'm going to vote a big YES to the All4Games proposal.
I think this is what SoG needs to be known by more gamers outside the bitcoin community.
