1821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: December 30, 2016, 10:38:44 AM
This looks very interesting. I'll be watching closely.
Haven't read the white paper yet but other than using hash based signatures will this have any other implementations that will be different to BTC/ETH etc?
1822  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cost of Hiring a Developer for a game? on: December 30, 2016, 02:37:15 AM
There are numerous factors involved as have been pointed out by many of the posts above.
If you're looking to make it simple and don't want to spend crazy amounts by hiring a single development team then perhaps look at freelance sites and delegate certain tasks to different freelancers. It could end up with some flaws (which you'll need a pro to run through) but could save you a pretty penny.
Then again, if you want a one hit wonder then you'd be better off going down the route of using a select team of developers.
1823  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] 10 BTC Casascius Silver Gilt on: December 30, 2016, 02:31:41 AM
Congrats on the purchase and new addition to the collection. It does look like a beautiful piece. Who'd believe that Mike's coins would take us here? Great to see you guys had a little meetup. Next time maybe all the UK collectors can join in too  Grin
1824  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Will Blockchain.info ever get hacked? on: December 29, 2016, 01:32:00 PM
Some people will make you believe that it's not possible. This is most certainly not true. It's unlikely, but very possible. Look at MtGox for example.
The same goes for all online wallets. You are at risk of big site wide hacks as well as more personalised fishing attempts. The rule is the same for all online wallets. Only keep what you need there. Keep the rest offline and safe Smiley
1825  Economy / Collectibles / Re: BTCC Introduces New Lunar New Year Physical Bitcoin Set on: December 29, 2016, 12:23:05 AM
Cudos to your marketing guru! Smiley

I was going to say the same thing. It's incredible how many products you've managed to release in such a short pace of time.
The packaging looks really nice once again. Kudos to your designers too!
1826  Economy / Auctions / Re: Advertise For One Year On My Website on: December 28, 2016, 11:26:14 PM
It may be advisable to post site analytics for potential customers to see.
Regarding your ROI term, how would you determine that? Would it be at the value of 10 BTC in USD at time of payment or would it take into account the price of BTC/USD after the year term has passed?
1827  Economy / Goods / Re: LYKAN HYPERSPORT SUPERCAR 1/18 DIECAST RED 65 cars sold on: December 28, 2016, 04:23:11 PM
Reported this thread and all your others.l
You continuously post links to sites selling products that you are not selling and that aren't being sold for BTC.
This is a Bitcoin forum. If you're not going to sell goods for BTC then I advise you to post your spammy links elsewhere.
1828  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SELLING] TONS of coins for sale on: December 28, 2016, 11:20:32 AM
This thread is getting a little out of hand despite its entertainment value. Why can't you just use a middleman to receive the goods?
On a side note, how much for the Sol Noctis coin with shipping to the UK?
Thanks
1829  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Is this bitcoin mixing routine good ? on: December 27, 2016, 11:19:58 AM
I've never heard of a school project quite like this before!  Grin
I think you're looking in the wrong place for that kind of information. You'd be better off looking elsewhere and doing your own research.
If this really was a school project then who cares about the accumulated fees? Your school wouldn't need you to mix coins but only come up with a method... I don't really see the big deal unless^...
1830  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] 10 BTC Casascius Silver Gilt on: December 27, 2016, 12:47:04 AM
If you have a price that is around the offers you've received and that's a price your happy with then there's no harm at running an auction and starting the auction at that price.
You may only get a couple of bids but at least the bids will be in the range you're happy with. Worst case scenario is that it doesn't sell and you get to keep that precious coin.
In essence there's no risk at all if you do that Smiley

Good luck with the sale!
1831  Economy / Goods / Re: Need to buy an item from ebay for bitcoins (Escrow) on: December 26, 2016, 05:16:04 PM
1:1 at which exchange rate?
Even if someone would agree to buy this for you I'd expect that they'd ask for a tip or something. Nobody would do this free of charge as they could buy BTC outright at as much of a competitive rate.
1832  Economy / Goods / Re: cigarettes to sell in europe on: December 26, 2016, 04:32:08 PM
Hi,
Where are your cigarettes sourced from? What language are the labels in the boxes and can you let me know the country of manufacture?
Thanks

The labels are in English, more i cant say, but are original cigarettes, no fake shit.
Some are manufactured in Swiss.

Whe have also cartons with Dutch labels if that's ok.

I understand that. However are these manufactured in Eastern Europe or elsewhere? It makes a big difference in terms of quality and will affect whether or not I choose to buy any.
Thanks
1833  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 1x Gold Plated Bitcoin Collectible Physical Gift BTC Coin have sold 2000 pieces! on: December 26, 2016, 12:25:52 PM
Please stop posting sales threads for items that you aren't selling and of items that you aren't even sure if the seller accepts BTC.
It looks as if you're just advertising a friends product or trying to earn from affiliate marketing...
1834  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Crowdfunded Property development on: December 26, 2016, 12:21:04 PM
I can see where you're getting this idea from but I don't think it'll be feasible.
You may be able to raise the BTC but finding a contractor who'll accept BTC as payment for work will be problematic considering that the price of BTC may fall below the initial agreed cost of construction once construction has been completed.
You may end up over paying (in USD values) which wouldn't be such a problem, but you may also end up quite short and having to raise another round of funding in order to pay the difference in the unexpected price fluctuations.
1835  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Aluminium Casascius coin on: December 26, 2016, 12:12:23 PM
I'm curious to know what you'll be using these for. Do you plan on making them actual wallets or just novelty pieces? If you'll be using them as wallets what sticker/hologram would you be using on the back seeing as none are included?
Thanks

1837  Economy / Goods / Re: Donald Trump Silver 2016 Presidential Liberty Replica Coin sold 89 coins on: December 26, 2016, 09:07:22 AM
Are these silver bullion or are they just plated?
Are you accepting BTC payment and if so will you accept Escrow?
If the answer is yes to all the above then I'll take 1-2 shipped to the UK.

Thanks
hi please contact the seller at ebayy thanks you. he can arrange if he wan to sell in bitcoin as he intent to build a good profile in his ebayy acount. you might want to login ebbay thank for the trouble.

I'm a little confused. If you're not sure whether or not the seller will accept BTC then why are you posting this on a BTC forum in the Goods section? Secondly why are you posting an item that you aren't even selling.
If you aren't selling items for BTC then they helping in the alt currencies marketplace section and not here.

1839  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: We've created a new Bitcoin Crowd Funding website - BitGrants.com on: December 25, 2016, 05:00:31 PM
Nice to see more sites targeting the BTC market.
I still think your site has a long way to go. Including the suggestions made above by xavier77 I think the UI needs a lot of work done to it. It still looks in its early stages. People associate trust with quality so having a poor UI will be a deal breaker for a lot of people.
1840  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need $180 PayPal, Have Bitcoin to pay on: December 25, 2016, 02:35:18 PM
What rate are you paying at and what kind of good/service do you need bought? I could do this so long as the rate is fair and that the item I'll be buying is legitimate and not shady in any way. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks
