1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling addiction threads on: March 10, 2020, 03:07:19 AM
Does the gambling discussion here about gambling addiction help you reducing your gambling activities or helps you to think that you need to change?

I need to change the previous wrongdoings a typical addicted gambler has. Isn't the first step we shall do to lessen the addiction is to reduce gambling activities?

I've been there, done that. We bust, we say we can leave gambling. But then we come back to gamble. That's addiction. Reality is that, we always want to feel how to win in gambling again. That is why we are very eager to gamble more and wanted to recover the losses. Not realizing, the more we wanted to recover the more we tend to lose.

It's a matter of self control. Reflect yourself so you will realize of what type of a gambler are you already in. It's hard to fight addiction. But with a strong mindset and self control, we still can. Noone will gonna help us but ourself.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Reason behind recent drops in crypto haven on: March 10, 2020, 01:08:09 AM
I have see  this tweet from this site.

No wonder, the massive drop has a reason. Movement of huge bitcoin definitely is the main reason for this bloody market. Bear attacked by this action of plus token scam. Too many traders were also liquidated because of this. However, this can always be corrected. We can still further wait for the bull, they are just in the corner.

  • Lack of knowledge

Though, our government still has a positive approach towards cryptochrrency, hindi naman maikakaila na napakadami ding ginagamit ang bitcoin for scam scheme that makes it less reputable.

Actually, we already have a few steps forwards for adoption sa bansa natin.
1824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not suitable as a currency, it's a store of value on: March 09, 2020, 05:59:26 AM
How many times do we have to discusse and argue about this. I mean, literally it cant be a country's currency but it is a digital currency which can be use as an "alternate" monetary service. And yeah it can be a store value at the same time, a "digital gold" called by them. Since the volatile market can become a good point to make it as a valuable investment.

Reality is that we all preferred paying in fiat than spend our bitcoin with higher fees and slow transactions. So majority use it as a store value rather than use it as digital payments.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: COVID-19 and its effect in Gambling World on: March 09, 2020, 03:30:10 AM
Not only in physical casinos, but mostly it was spreading in public places where many people are staying like supermarkets, etc. And yeah this affected some areas of field like gambling. Good thing there is already visual games, online gambling sites and casinos for us not to acquire COVID-19 and to atleast stay at home playing  It is always best to consider our safety first. Preventing public places, proper hygeine will be a great help not to acquire the virus.
1826  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Brought Bitcoin in 2017 and sold in 2018 on: March 09, 2020, 02:03:05 AM
That's sad. You obviously bought those coins at the peak price. Well, there are two ways you may choose to do. Either sell them at loss because the situation further needs you to do so and rebuy at low so you can compensate some of your deficit fund. Or wait longer. Patiently hold and wait will still give you profits at the end.

That's the usual problem , most of the trader hardly know "when" is the right time to buy and sell. Or even know of it is already the best price to sell or not.
1827  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin was $3,871 on this day - 1 year ago on: March 09, 2020, 12:46:50 AM
With the same day last year bear invading the market . And today, from 9100 down to 8100. Huge dump as of today. If this is a preparation for bitcoin, we can't really say. Bitcoin failed to strongly hold at 9200 so I was expecting this dump though.
As usual, opportunity to buy while red market is on is a good reason for this bloody market that is happening. But another long wait for long term holder
1828  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another successful Bitcoin seminar! on: March 08, 2020, 04:01:15 AM
Whenever I see some success seminars like this, I always admire the lecturer and the organizer. I remembered last year December when we (together with my brother) presented some slides and explanation about bitcoin within the family. It is a great feeling to show how Bitcoin really works, how can we earn from it, etc. And mostly, younger generations are really interested about this.

I just do hope, we can also conduct seminar to the other audiences like you did. Spreading such knowledge about bitcoin and the technology behind it will give us fulfilling feeling. Nice to see the seminar you held was a success one. They only pay for the edibles? How about the venue?
1829  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 07, 2020, 03:31:46 PM
I think I really have to do that, too. If i think i need some pull off or out of control already. Making journal could somehow be a help.
That is a realization or a reflection that you are gambling with your own sweat. Your time, sleepless nights to earn and then you gamble that money which came from your own effort. There is no assurance of winning or doubling that amount instant like other gamblers are thinking. That is why gambling from your own salary isn't advisable.
1830  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Location of Bitcoin ATMs in the Philippines [will update from time to time] on: March 06, 2020, 10:11:12 AM
Keep updating this thread, bro.
1831  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 06, 2020, 08:09:58 AM
I kinda disagree. Both are profitable but it always depends on your skills as a freelancer. If you are able to build a good image and reputation with a high level of skills, you can earn through freelancing. On the other hand, trading is more risky than being a freelancer. But also a profitable one. I do some tradings until now and if you haven't gain any confidence, doesn't aware how to use technical analysis, read charts, you can also be at lose.
1832  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: PONZI SCHEME FRONTROW on: March 06, 2020, 06:02:48 AM
Napanuod ko ito kahapon. Nakakalungkot isipin na misleading pala ang result. I mean, kinontak siya ng may ari ng frontrow to endorse their product dahil sa big transformation niya which is hindi pala yun yong product na ginagamit nya.

Napakinabangan na nila yung complainant that is why he is dumping by those high rank members. This just means it is a total scam networking scheme like the others.

1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season question on: March 06, 2020, 04:05:44 AM
Most of them think that altcoins can not survive without Bitcoin. Well, wrong. They have been surviving and investors are still buying those altcoins. It just means that even altcoins are still standing up and will still perform well. With their potential objective in crypto market, investors tend to use some altcoins making their price go up even without btc.

Whenever altcoins dump from 20-50%. Majority thinks it is the end of altcoin. The season for altcoins can possibly happen again. But I am talking those altcoins that has a great potential and not with those coins that are useless in the market.
1834  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ex-Coinbase CTO Argues Bitcoin Will Likely Hit $100,000 Using Coronavirus on: March 06, 2020, 03:00:39 AM
This is actually a myth. I mean because of corona virus, bitcoin will gonna hit $100k? I think it is the other way around. Bitcoin market reacted about it already. Small dumps already passed. Now we are recovering. It is absurd to believe in his prediction. There is still a possibility that it may go up like that but in a 5-10 years and not because of this corona issue.

His speculations and basis are pointless. Similarity of pattern vs price can not be the reason for that price pump going to $100k.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: March 06, 2020, 02:15:30 AM
Promotions, bonuses and other ideas of a gambling sites is one of their way to attract gamblers to play in their site.
Usually, there is a "must do" or a requirements too in return to get their promotions. Example, minimum required deposit with cashback, etc.

But for me, the most significant thing I am looking for a partucular gambling site is the fairness. Some said they are provably fair but obviously not if you try to play on their site. Also, the fast withdrawals and deposits matters too.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Managers and Shit projects on: March 05, 2020, 11:20:12 AM
There are still few bounty managers here  who are reputable and has a good image managing such projects. I believe before accepting such a project they are doing some serious research about it, it is obvious that if a wasted and scam project was being managed by a member here, her/his name can be dragged by negative image.

Though, we can't blame other manager who only accept "any" or "shady" projects in return of money. But their reputation is at risk if the projects turns to be scam or useless. I do hope, they should be wise selecting the right project.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 05, 2020, 07:27:28 AM
I was just amazed that Malawi allowed children at the age of 5. Like maybe when they are just started to learn how to read and do some maths, right? This just means that a younger generation will be allowed to gamble on their place especially when they are over 5 yrs old. I don't wanna judge them but they are attracting more people to gamble at the young age. They should be enjoying there life playing games and not playing in casinos.

On the other hand, i thought Philippines age restriction is 18 yrs old. Thanks for providing this information. Honestly, I am in favor that Philippines integrate that law.

This law is taken seriously by the Filipino government in an effort to eliminate the risks of underage gambling
1838  Local / Pamilihan / [Moneybees] New virtual currency exchange sa Pilipinas on: March 05, 2020, 06:51:58 AM

1839  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto mass adoption achievement on: March 05, 2020, 01:41:45 AM
If you can just be able to browse, there are a lot of crypto projects that can actually contributing to the mass adoption. It's just that, since there are so many projects that can choose from, many aren't that excited to use it and being left behind and ignored because it was a usual project like the others.

Mass adoption is not yet fully achieved regardless how success the project were being introduced and launch.
If this cryptocurrency technology were being accepted firstly by the government, that is a big step to acquire the mass adoption we are aiming for.
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Asking Investment advice? on: March 04, 2020, 07:02:46 AM
If I may just add some tips for those who want to do crypto investments;

  • Make a plan.
  • Stick with your goal.
  • Diversify investments- just like what OP said. Making a diversified portfolio is a good step to acquire more profits.

Whatever projects or coins you may want to invest, it is important to know if the platform is useful in the crypto market and has a significant role in the future. Remember that the best teacher is our experience. It takes a gradual patience to become a successful investor so be ready with all the possible risks.
