Oh man...this is such fantastic viewing.
People are paying $17 for a coin with no services or infrastructure.
Damn my windows miner for not working!!!! Tongue

With the right team this launch could have been awesome.

ios & android apps
mining pools
multiple OS resources
mining software
wallets
etc etc etc

With the weight of the interest in this coin, it "could" have been amazing.....

As it is, I haven't turned the telly on all night, just beat the crap out of F5 for an evenings entertainment..

You are all naive sheep, sitting here waiting for the Wallet and Miner to be released.  The coin is already being premined by Max Keiser's botnets and has been for a few hours now!!!!  Go sign up at http://max.minecrypto.net/ . You will see that the network hashrate is already past 80GHs and the difficulty is already 1080.  I have been monitoring it. And it has been this way for more than an hour!!! Yes! So they are rape-mining with their botnets. If this is not a PreMine, I don't know what is.

Did you really think that Max Keiser was gonna pump this coin without reserving the first tens of millions of coins for himself?

'spose you'll delete this when it becomes clear you're a moron
brilliant...

I've had one refunded, one on order.  That's the easy "get out" anyone can take.
I still don't have an issue with how things are progressing, and my lack of posting doesn't reflect my experience or understanding of things.
They are simply making the best commercial decisions.  If you want charity, donate at the link in my sig.
If you want a capitalist free market economy and private enterprise making the best commercial decisions for success.....

Funny...from here it looks like mass hysteria

Am I alone in not being too concerned about this?

KNC are going to offer cloud based hashing - great.  Why wouldn't they? I would too.
They are offering an iron clad guarantee of hashing delivery date (cloud or physical). Super.

Batch 0 preorders were $3k cheaper and 3-4 weeks sooner than batch 1, and the same price but 6-8 weeks before batch 2.
Clearly KNC have a history of looking after their existing customers, and this seems to continue in this vein.  They could so easily get the data centre up and running and taking orders while we wait for our Neptune's....

This is just the next chapter of this interesting crypto story that we will be able to say in 20 years time we were at the centre of and the trailblazers for.....

omg

a knc sockpuppet!?
No...just reasonable Wink

I haven't had good experiences with mining.   Undecided

Will buy some at the exchange on the 5th unless the price is insane.

The price will be nuts initially, but it'll soon go down. Depends what you're planning to do with them. Mining is your best bet if you can get in.

Yeah...don't buy on the 5th....

Never buy in on the initial rush. With these type of coins its better to get in on the mining then pump and dump. That's all this coin will be good for really. It's not gonna have any longevity.
Yea I shouldn't have said the 5th, I will buy when the price looks "reasonable" whatever that means.
LOL....I know right...and who know's when it will be "reasonable"...
It's all part of the fun I guess....

Not sure I agree with that, but certainly there will be some initial froth....
It will be interesting to see just how many coins are available on the exchanges as mining will be so accessible...

No way I can compete with the miners on this launch - will stick to the exchange!
Why not?
Get yourself a Windows Azure free month trial (or two) and join in  Grin

Looking forward to mining this on my HOME PC!!  Grin
Although there are gonna be big players with the resources to mine on a large scale with CPU farms, this is at least being released in as equitable way as is possible (i.e no pre-mine, CPU only)....
and I'm looking forward to it....In fact, gonna get me some Windows Azure free trials in preparation...
