Any tips for Top 3 Algos this week?
1. neoscrypt
2. X11evo
3. NIST5
There were some crazy spikes in XRE coin reward share/value I got today. My boxes did stay on that algo for a bit as well... but my script has been switching me between a lot of the algos.. and with great frequency...... Id have to say x11evo, skein, x14, x17 in that order for my GTX980. Can't comment on neoscrypt cause the reject bar graph is scaled wrong. If someone knows where that graph is in the yaamp code, ill probably be able to figure out where the decimal really goes.... but I think its supposed to be a percentage of current hashrate, not the whole number its showing. I'm about to put online a dual GTX275 for giggles. My friend brought me some kinda older PC's and 2 had the same card... so I figured... why not see what they can do for fun =) I wonder if it will hash more than a single GTX560. Was pretty cool; got two watercooled i7 machines, and one core 2 quad file server machine to build some miners out of. Recently there have been some good deals on GTX 960's... why is NH reporting lyra2v2 as their best algo for 980 Ti? Because the 980ti is great at that algo..... compared to other cards. And a lot of renters. |

Hi, i really like this pool.. i am wondering about Shares - my shares% is much higher than the Earning percentage. Is there a reason why?

I am very interested in seeing how the new rental feature will work out.
What rental features? Guess it has been deactivated again. There was a rental feature activated for a short time where people could pay to rent hashrates similar to Nicehash. It was in addition to the regular mining. It was also labled beta so it most likely isnt ready for release yet. Ok nice. I remember another yaamp like pool that had that.....but that pool is closed. |

CPU MINING-- The "-C" command line flag enables the "CPU Mining" boost in sp_ 's branch of ccminer. It makes a big difference in hash rate for some algos, as the cpu is assisting the gpu in processing the data. I remember chatting at you about it before. As far as I know, sp_ 's branch is the only one that uses this fllag. It increased my Quark hash rate about 500kh/s to 11.5MH/s with my GTX 960. --scryptr Thx scryptr....I have alot going on and I forgot. |

The final conclusion after what I and crysx have been through is either one core per high density card or more on board memory ..like 32 gigs.
Or be simple and effective - buy cheaper AMD cards and run 5 or 6 cards effortlessly mining ethereum with 2Gb ram...  I usually don't mine CORPORATE BANK coins. Nvidia is fine. |

Thx giving it a try. I installed regedit about 3 months ago and so be able to do it. I just remembered ..I forgot to turn off onboard graphics too. EDIT:I have had that .dll for a long time I don't know if I added it to that computer. I may have so to make sure I'm going to use regedit and set to 30. EDIT: Got it....lets see if thats works.  I could add that as 32 or 64 bit..doing 64. I wonder if there would be any relationship to the amount of hashrate to sp build or 64 build or 86 build? EDIT: Nope..... looks like one cpu core per high density card. That has to be the problem. After it crashes on reboot I get this.... Then on 2nd reboot it installs. I even tried disabling hd on board graphics. Sorry sp for messing up your thread. Try to disable Intel graphic card to bios , and uninstall driver intel from windows with DDU .

Ok those that where following me with my one rig trying to get another 970 gtx on it.
It just wont take another one.
I got another psu total 2600 watts continuous ... no help.
Drivers just crash.... funny though...it takes almost exactly 3 minutes before it crashes every algo.
Again 2 980ti 2 970 gtx 1 750ti..have to take out the 970 gtx. Mb BTC 81 pro 16 gig ram 2 core intel cpu. Now a bookend.
I dont know why it takes 3 minutes then drivers crash doing a straight algo. Any algo.
After crash (Code 43) on first reboot then 2nd reboot fine.
EDIT:I just tried running 4 cards without running the 970 but still in the system .... crash 3 minutes.
The clocks core are 1425 there supposed to be 1219. Msi afterburner.
The clocks are way too high. Try downclocking and power limiting with nvidia-smi (-pl) to exclude too high clocks and PSU issues. Also try modifying the registry and increasing TDR (Timeout Detection & Recovery) delay. I'd also always run separate instances of ccminer for cards with different architectures - or even for different models. If nothing helps at all try a different OS version or subversion and older nvidia drivers. I did underclock them down to 1312 crash after 3 minutes. What is "Timeout Detection & Recovery" delay bathrobehero sp had his oc'ing at 1600 but he has a 4 core if that makes a difference. I tried alot of drivers switched power risers ect. Drivers crash after 3 minutes any algo straight mining. TDR is the amount or time after the nvidia driver resets the cards (as in, crashes) if the cards wont respond to the OS. I think it's something like 2 seconds by default which used to cause issues back in cudaminer so I have it increased to like 30 seconds on all my rigs ever since. I'm on phone so just google it to find more about it. It might not be be helpful at all, but it's worth exploring. But I'm straight mining...ie start off cards cold start mining 3 minutes later crash....but looking up that info thanks. EDIT: Wow yes TDR may be the problem. I'm done messing with it, 200hrs, because my ANTEC psu is bad not allowing enough power to everything.
One rail must be bad so I'm leaving it at 2 980ti 1 970 1 750ti. Again if I take out the 750ti and put the 970gtx crash drivers and if it hashs for 2 minutes the psu shuts off. 1300 watts continuous meaning it should take a load of 1300 watts forever.. max I can get is 850 watts on that ANTEC psu 1 rma already on it. And no U/L listing anyone know what that is? I do..meaning no matter what is made in China Mexico ect can be sold good, bad, and falling apart in your hand. U/L listed would stop that. Undewighters laboratories.
I was warned about ANTEC after I bought it. I did do research on it and they listed the best. right. Next time I'll ask in here.
