Yes, you found a critical bug. I've fixed it here.

I've sent 0.00121738 BTC to the address on your bitcointalk profile as a reward for pointing this out. Thank you.

Good that this was fixed already, I just came to confirm that although I'm the only one that bet on the outcome eventually I walked away with 0 BTC Grin

I wanted to be fair, so I sent 0.6mBTC (half of the bug bounty) to your wallet. We both played a role in finding the bug, so I thought it was appropriate to split the reward. Wink

Quote
Is it fixed for all currently opened games, or will it be fixed only for the newly created ones?

It appears that the issue has been fixed for everyone. Based on the outcome of Game #22, it seems that LoyceV and BitcoinGirl.Club shared the pot. However, upon further inspection, it looks like the second deposit was not taken into account in the total balance. This could potentially be another bug, or at the very least, a flaw in the software that needs to be addressed.

@jackmurray, perhaps the simplest solution to this problem would be to automatically return all transactions that are confirmed after the deadline to the sender (minus the transfer fee)?
1823  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 08:11:54 PM
The player who has contributed the most money to the pot at the end of the game wins the whole pot, minus a 2% fee for the host.

So does it mean that people wil contribute to the pot and in the end only ONE person will win the whole pot and the rest all contributors will lose the moeny  Huh
SNIP

No, because OP has confirmed that you can decide how many winners will be there in a specific game whenever you create a game. I was also confused about this but I have even seen 2 players in 1 game and both of them getting something because the creator chose 2 winners (LoyceV's game you can check in this thread). Wink

In theory, that's the way the game is supposed to work (or at least, that's our understanding of it). However, it doesn't seem to be living up to that expectation in practice. We'll have to see how Loyce's game turns out before we can say for sure. In the meantime, you can check out my review of Game #23 in the previous posts.
1824  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 07:35:05 PM
It looks like many members have already identified several issues with the game. However, the most concerning issue for me is that I believe I have discovered a critical bug in the gambling mechanics. I'm curious to know if anyone else will experience this problem as well.

In the following part of the review, I will be discussing Game 23, which was a completed game between me and cryptofrka.

Game flow:
cryptofrka funded 8000 sats to this address: bc1qgdh69sd0ldyapk3ux8kztkhfpx25le7lt6fjt0. I was supposed to send a certain amount to the address: bc1qdm8mnf5mfnhw6447dkev6s3fze63333vch5h28, but unfortunately, the transaction wasn't confirmed before the deadline due to a low fee. However, after the game round ended, I received an amount of 7840 sats to my payout address in this transaction.

If my understanding is correct, the system awarded the entire pot amount (minus the 2% fee) to only one participant (me), despite the game being set up for two winners (which is evident from the screenshot). Furthermore, I won the game even though I didn't even participate in it. I'm unsure if this was a random occurrence or due to my address being first on the list, but either way, this is not the intended behavior of the system and I believe it to be a serious bug.

*OP, this is my review, although I'm sure I will contribute to this thread more in the future and express my opinion as the game develops further.
1825  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 12:37:35 PM
So, who decides the number of winners in a game?
The host himself/herself?

The creator of the game decides how many winners the pot will be divided among. For example, for Game #25 it would be you.

Quote
And let's say I create a game and nobody participates, what will happen after the number of blocks passed?
Will I get a refund (excluding the 2% fee that the platform takes)? Or will it be a full refund? A little bit curious about this.

If you create the game and no one else participates, then you will be the winner and win the entire pot (minus 2% fee).

Quote
EDIT: Where does the 2nd player gets his betting address?

For example, I created Game 25, the betting address left from my address is for me, right?
Then where will the 2nd player send his coins? If he will send them on the same betting address as mine, then will the 3rd person use 2nd player's betting address to send his bet?

I believe you've created a game for only one player since you haven't defined other payout addresses.

Quote
If someone wants to increase the size of his bets, will he use the same betting address where he sent his funds earlier?

Yes, I think so.
1826  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 12:10:49 PM
Yes, there must be 6 confirmations before txs will show up.
I've added a message on the site making this more clear.

I appreciate the effort you made to update the information on the website. However, I see that there are still some delays. For example, in Game 23 I have a transaction with 7 confirmations, but the site still doesn't reflect the correct balance.

EDIT:
OK, I see now that the balance is updated. I'm not sure if it's because of the 8 blocks after the first confirmation or some unspecified time after the 6th confirmation. Btw, do you really need 6 confirmations for this? Wouldn't it be better if the balance was reflected in real time?
1827  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 10:52:24 AM
I think I'm starting to get it. See https://coinballer.net/game/21, find your Payout address in the list, and deposit to the Betting address that's left from it on the same line.

Well, it looks like we've both got three confirmations on our transactions, but the game balance is still stuck at zero. Is this a glitch in the matrix, or just a cleverly disguised feature? Hard to say... Only the developer knows for sure.  Wink
1828  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 04, 2023, 10:24:38 AM
Does anybody have a clear understanding on how to participate? To which address should I be sending my bets?

If I understood correctly, to participate in Game 21 created by ETFbitcoin, you need to send BTC to the designated "Betting address" (listed in the left column of the table).

So for example, my "Payout address" is in the right column and my "Betting address" is in the left column:

Quote
And what if I want to send from another wallet? Am I excluded because only 1 of my wallets are registered or not?

It's a good question, but unfortunately the instructions are incomplete, so I'm not sure if the address the funds are sent from matters or not. It's possible that it doesn't matter, but without more information, it's hard to say for certain. The only way to know for sure might be to try it and see what happens.

At first glimpse it is quite confusing to understand how the game works.

I agree.

I will wait for response for a partner before I give my review.[/url]

Would you like to play with me?
I assume you have already created a new game? Can you confirm that it is okay for me to send my deposit to the specified address?

EDIT:
I'm backing off. I've already found a new partner.

1831  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Spiroll.app scam? on: January 03, 2023, 01:08:53 PM
Also worth noting: they never paid the fake winner's address (https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/bc1q8zr62hardk5kkjym5femqtqsqfpwnakstzpg9z).
If there was any doubt who was behind the winner account now there isn't.  Cheesy

I can't help but find it amusing that they tried to rig the competition. It was almost comical to see their shady casino operation come crashing down in such a spectacularly miserable way.  Cheesy

As LoyceV pointed out, this was a scam waiting to happen and could have had much more severe consequences.

I kinda expected OP to create one but since he didn't here it is, flag type 1 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3077

Flag supported.

It's important to note that any scam accusations against a casino should have their own dedicated topic in the Scam Accusations board, with relevant evidence to back them up. Accusations without proper support will not be taken seriously by the community.

If I roll all of them either I am going to end up earning segregated rewards (sats, RP, lott tickers, GT etc) but do you guys think it is worth an investment like that?

It appears that you've already done the necessary calculations, so you should be able to make an informed decision about what will help you achieve your goal. Just keep in mind that exchanging 4500 RPs for only 60-70 WOF spins may not be a good value, as you may end up losing sats in the process.
1835  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinballer - An open-source multi-player Bitcoin gambling game. on: January 03, 2023, 10:57:08 AM
I don't know, but it seems like this type of game or bet is very new to this forum or ever to the casino. To understand it we have to play it or at least Op can give a free test so that we become more familiar with how betting works on this new gambling site, but seeing what Op has explained gives a little illustration that we have to prepare good budget to win the bet.

I'm not so sure that this kind of game mechanics is new, it's simple auction-style bidding in a digital format, and this type of gameplay is something we've seen before. And, you don't have to actually play it to understand it because it's actually very simple, whoever makes the highest bit wins the entire pot.

@OP why need to be hurry to built reputation?

A strong reputation is a no-brainer for any gambling platform worth its salt. After all, players entrust their hard-earned coins to the custody of the platform, and a spotty reputation is a surefire way to chase them away. The design of the game requires this trust, making the reputation of the platform a vital factor in its sustainability.

I’m not going to reply to any questions regarding stolen funds anymore. The most simple answer I can give you. We don’t accept stolen money, if you do use them we send them back. End of story.

It's simple - if you want to show that you're credible, just provide some solid proof to back up what you're saying and add some weight to your arguments. This is especially important when you're trying to persuade someone to part with their money.

For example, it would be helpful if you could specify the sources you use when making statements such as, 'It's not hard to google blacklisted wallets.' [1] As you are discussing serious matters, it is important to provide reliable sources, rather than just using a general search engine like Google. However, if you are really relying on the Google to identify blacklisted wallets, it raises serious questions about the legitimacy of your business.

Furthermore, this statement: 'Blacklisted wallet can be found on public lists, provided to the crypto community by law enforcement worldwide' [2] absolutely needs a reference to show where the information came from. Without a reference, it is difficult for readers to determine the credibility and reliability of the information being presented, which can negatively impact the perception of your business as reliable and trustworthy.

1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 30, 2022, 01:55:15 PM
and sometimes It is My Wife that motivates me when she is giving me extra funds to risk in gamble as she Knew that sometimes I have this luck and may bring us both Winning  Grin

Lol, assuming what you say is true, your case is exceptional.

Yes, it's usually the other way around.  Cheesy

As they say, behind every successful man is a woman - and in my case, that woman is my better half who I believe brings me luck when gambling. I've tried to convince her to come to the casino with me on numerous occasions, but she tends to be a bit more practical when it comes to spending money. I guess that's just one of the many differences between the sexes - men are typically more willing to take risks, while women tend to be more pragmatic.

It was opposite of us, lol. Well, I am the only one working, and she is caring for our child, but I always give her money on a monthly basis so that she can gamble (she has other budgets for her needs, so gambling is separate). Well, she only won once this year, and it was not that big, but she is happy whether she loses or wins. But I am a practical person at times, I would suggest to her sometimes that she should use her gambling budget this month to buy clothes; but mostly she doesn't do it. On the other hand I do have a really strict gambling budget, and I also rarely play—mostly once every two months if I have funds, and sometimes I skip to spend it on others.

Well, it sounds like you are a supportive partner who takes care of your family's financial needs and tries to be practical about your spouse's gambling habits. I think it's important to respect your spouse's autonomy and their right to make their own decisions, it's also understandable that you might have concerns about the money being spent on gambling. It is important to have open and honest communication with your spouse, as well as finding a balance that works for both of you.
1839  Economy / Gambling / Re: If you were building a Sportsbook... on: December 30, 2022, 01:11:05 PM
Following on from one of my previous messages here, one thing I really like on some sports books is a partial cashout feature - its definitely something to think about in my opinion for new sportsbooks

I would never conceive a sportbook that would not allow a cash-out. It is quite elementary to allow full freedom to the users, as they are going to play on the grounds that eventually they can fully withdraw if they have some serious luck on their betting, or even if the simply get tired of the site and decide to look for alternatives. I think that feature is a given.

It appears that there may have been a misunderstanding here. From my interpretation of M1cha3lM's post, it seems that he wasn't discussing the process of withdrawing funds from the casino or bookmaker, but rather the option to cash out a bet before the end of the event. This is a common feature offered by many sports betting platforms, and allows bettors to sell their bet back to the bookmaker for a reduced price before the event has ended, rather than waiting for the outcome to be determined.

You can read more about it here:

What Is Cash out Betting?

It is a betting feature that allows gamblers to withdraw their bet before the game ends prematurely. Since the odds fluctuate based on the game's flow, the odds at the cash-out point are what the bettor gets. If the bet goes according to the initial prediction, the odds will rise, and vice versa.
1840  Economy / Gambling / Re: Multidice.io | The multi-currency dice game | 35+ cryptos on: December 30, 2022, 12:53:49 PM
Hmm...

Did a withdrawal. Hopefully its going through without getting scammed.  Huh
By the way, you made a deposit of 0.0018btc and few minutes later you request a withdrawal of 0.00172xbtc. It is a little bit questionable, did you play few bets only and lose few ten thousands satoshi then decided to withdraw the rest?
But, that's equally not an excuse for the casino not to process a users withdrawal due to time interval of deposit and withdrawal if not clearly stated in it's terms and conditions that a deposit needs to be wager before withdrawer. Because I see no suspicious activity there, as sometimes you never can tell, issue may arise and you need fund, of which withdrawing might be an only option. But moreover, have the withdrawal been processed??
I doubt the withdrawal process will continue considering what @Bitinity has said: their representative is no longer active and they were last active last month. But why does he keep depositing his money in a casino that doesn't have an active representative? It's the same risk as the current situation, where he might still be waiting for his withdrawal to be processed. Even so, he can still hope that the team from the casino will continue the withdrawal process until it's finished and can come back to this forum to notify the latest updates.

I agree. This could potentially be a cause for concern, as it's important for an online casino to have active and responsive representative on the forum to address any issues or concerns that players may have. Without an active representative, it may be difficult for the members to get any information or important notifications related to this casino.

However, this does not necessarily mean that players will have problems withdrawing funds from their accounts. It's not clear based on the information provided whether the withdrawal process will continue or not. As far as I am aware, there haven't been any reported instances of scam accusations against Multidice casino on this particular forum. However, it's important to note that the absence of reported scams does not necessarily mean that a casino is completely trustworthy. It's always a good idea to do thorough research and due diligence before depositing money into any online platform, including reading reviews and checking for active customer support.
