1821  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto resale trading strategy, P2P Does anyone trade like this? on: November 29, 2023, 08:01:47 AM

Something tells me you are lying and trying to shill your fake service like slaman29 said. Perhaps trying to look for someone to scam when they contact you on telegram.

As someone who is still exploring different angles of cryptocurrency, and willing to learn new things, OP's discussion captured my interest until it got to the part of contacting him personally on telegram. First of all I can not contact a newbie, that has not gained any reputation in the forum, and this being his first post here in the forum. So coupled with what experienced members have said about his post, I'd have to have doubts about the genuineness of OP intentions for asking that he'd be contacted on telegram. Maybe he's genuine, but I'm always skeptical about contacting people or groups on telegram and WhatsApp, for business purposes, because of fear getting scammed, unless their highly recommended.
1822  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Compounding altcoin profits in bull run? on: November 29, 2023, 06:51:58 AM

I will recommend you should not buy one coin you should divide your amount on to 5 or on to 10. Means you should pick 5 or 10 Altcoins with your analysis and should invest equally in these coins. If any one will go down others may recover the loss of one coin. And if the whole market will dump so this is your luck.

I'll give the OP same advice, divide the amount and put in indifferent atcoins, more like not putting all your eggs in one basket, so if one or more goes down, he'll still fall back on the ones that'll be profitable. Assuming he chooses five alltcoins to choose from, probability is he'll be profitable in at least two, this is better than just one, where the chances of making profit is less than 50%. Altcoin investment is risky, therefore people need to consider cashing out when they make huge profits, or at least reinvest some percentage back, instead of leaving everything. I can only leave my investment in only bitcoin and a few top altcoins like ethereum, because they've proven to be trustworthy.

1824  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The reason of why Bitcoin is good for trading (for me) on: November 28, 2023, 06:34:04 PM
even though the way you do it sounds like gambling,
There's no indication of gambling, the OP isn't really going to lose the portfolio. The loss may only be limited to the time delayed to execute a commensurately profitable order, but it is definitely profitable in terms of value and does not have much of a psychological effect.
However this is still included in the category of trading although it is not as complicated as the way traders in general.

Truly there's less risk involved in the OP's method to really compere it with gambling, because it can be somewhat compared to investing, because he holds the bitcoin, and waits for the perfect time when it's profitable to pair it with USDT. Although I still think that there is need for him to learn about the fundamental and technical analysis of trading, this can be helpful if perhaps he gets the interest in the future to take a step further into real trading.

1825  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: There's always a price to pay. on: November 28, 2023, 05:15:15 PM
Nothing good comes easy in life, you'll have to go through every process, take for instance, the process of growing up, although some might be faster than others. From crawling to standing to walking to running, everybody must pass through these first phase of life. After different phases and stages, then comes adulthood where everybody that plans to be responsible must sacrifice something to become somebody in life. It could be staying late at night to read in order to became that professional, putting in extra time to get better in our professions, avoiding friends and loved ones to be more focused towards achieving goals, avoiding luxuries to attain our desired results, the list is endless.

If those that are born in wealth does not pay the price of looking after it, might end up losing everything.

1826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Authorities Are Not Smart Enough to Do This on: November 28, 2023, 04:05:04 PM

In the second approach, by simply ignoring Bitcoin or avoiding direct confrontation through over-regulation or restriction of its use, Bitcoin would just remain in a corner and not emerge as a significant threat to the financial systems. For instance, the authorities in my country, through the Central Bank, placed a ban on Bitcoin transactions and ordered the banks to freeze the accounts of individuals transacting business with Bitcoin. Did this stop Bitcoin adoption and increase? No way.

But I doubt that the authorities are smart enough to do this. Please leave a comment.

I really don't see how government ignoring bitcoin, in over regulating it or restricting its usage will keep it in a corner, so it won't be a threat to the financial  system. Are you saying that if everything that you mentioned are not in place then bitcoin will not have relevance in the country? Bitcoin is an alternative to fiat, and it's a matter of choice for an individual to adopt it, it is decentralized while fiat is centralized. People who seek privacy in their transactions, and wants a decentralized currency for it, will go for bitcoin, not because of it's government restrictions, but because it's an, asset that serves their purpose. Maybe I don't understand your topic well, because I don't see how the authorities not being smart enough to keep bitcoin in a corner will restrict it's adoption.

1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos or PolkaDot? on: November 28, 2023, 01:02:48 PM
Theirs no coin that will not do well during the time of bullrun, so the two coins you listed I believe that during bullrun both of them get potential or accelerate from the price its to another price, I believe that any coins that survived bearish is good to have and its good to someone to invest it, so I can not judge the both coins because they are altcoins and I believe that altcoins their market is been pushed by bitcoin.

So in essence both cosmos and polkaDot, are good to go for the OP, since they both have the potentials to accelerate profitably during bull run. Although my preference in altcoins still remain ethereum, but I still see other potential altcoins, like the ones mentioned above, that can do well in bull run, after bitcoin has set the pace. Like you said I also believe that many altcoins will be profitable during the bull run, because of increased investors participation, as a result of cashing in from bitcoin. But the problem with altcoins is that how many will survive after the bull run? This is why one needs to very careful about choosing altcoins.
1828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The best game with a cryptocurrency deposit? on: November 28, 2023, 10:30:18 AM
Almost all games that fiat gambling sites have today, crypto gambling sites are also having them. So why referring to the best game with cryptocurrencies? Also that individuals have preference for something. The game that you like might be the game that I hate most. Also the game that I like might be the game that you hate most.

I guess that this aviator game is so interesting to OP that he wants to share the trills and excitement with us, it's OK for people that wants to try something new or different. As you noted, it doesn't bring any new features to gambling or using crypto coins, except perhaps how interesting the aviator game is programmed about the fun of flying. Still this is subject to individual liking, some people will not have anything to do with flying, whether in real life or fiction, while others will love it. Anyways I don't mind that OP is advertising this game, so it's left for individuals to decide whether to gamble on it.
1829  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Israel is scary on: November 28, 2023, 09:20:21 AM
The last time I checked or remember about Israel and the possesion of mass destruction devices, is that they formaly have said they have some of those arsenals, but on the other hand, it has never been confirmed by third parties they have those devices.

Though, I would not be surprised if they actually have some of them, delivered by the United States and only under the command of use of USA.
Even if USA is their most important ally on this planet, it would be quite irresponsible of them to give those weapons to direct Israeli command, instead some USA commander in the middle east.

I feel that nations might want to own up that they have certain destructive weapons, so other nations will fear them, some will even showoff their military drills to show readiness for battle, with the aim of intimidating their neighboring countries. So if Israel, have the weapon of mass destruction or not, for the fact that America, supports them totally means that they're to be dreaded in terns of warfare. I think that these weapons of mass destruction, should not be exported to other countries, because it can be compromised along the way and if it gets into the wrong hands, that'll be disastrous for the whole world. It's best for this evil creations to be allowed in the hands of a few civilized nations., that will not abuse the power to use them.
1830  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: You really need to be careful on: November 28, 2023, 08:21:51 AM
Well I think at this point in time we go dey very careful with the people wey we dey call our friend or bestie because this particular set of people go fit do you waiting no good. Things they happen well well for this world,  some go dey behave like say them care but deep down dey wan cripple you.
Pesin wey you dey eat with for the same plate fit deny you tomorrow  say him/her no sabi or never see you before. Pesin wey you dey show your account balance fit arrange assassin for you and again pesin wey you call bestie or friend fit see something wey dey come your way him block am so make ona dey very careful even with things wey you dey share with them.

Trust na rare commodity from di time of creation, because jealousy, envy, greed, selfishness and many oda wickedness follow inside human nature, we no de learn am from anywhere. And na by di grace of God, na im we fit to take live above this negative attitudes, come begin to de live life of contentment and integrity. As we no fit open person mind to know wetin de inside, weda na good or evil, so e de important make we no carry all our mind take trust anybody 100%.

By dia fruits we shall know dem, so if you and person be friend, make you de take note of how di person de react and talk about very small matters, na from dia you go know im true character. Because from di abundant of di heart di mind speaketh, so from dia you go determine your trust rating for dat friend.
1831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: November 28, 2023, 07:11:09 AM
You could invest in random altcoins & pray your chips are on the right area of the shitcoin roulette wheel or you could potentially hit lower ROI but a much more guaranteed profit by buying bitcoin & ethereum. Bitcoin will probably 4 or 5 x from here minimum & ethereum will do 8 x from here or something similar. I prefer more guaranteed wins than pinning the tail on the donkey.

I reason with you, because I'll rather put my money on crypto coins that have guarantee, like bitcoin and ethereum, I'm sure that however the market swings,  that they'll still remain relevant, and I'm going to make profit on them. Altcoins are good because of their high returns on a short term, but you never know when the one that you bought into will disappear. Except for a few top altcoins like ethereum, buying into most of the others are like gambling to me, they can pump10x now, and while you're waiting for it to increase a little before selling, next thing is the coin has become worthless.
1832  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Wilfred Bonse arrested in connection to Patricia hack. on: November 27, 2023, 06:58:16 PM
Politics na safe haven for corrupt individuals, when dem don commit crime, launder money finish, na to come hide under the immunity of leadership to de enjoy dem loot. Dis na why corruption go hard to kill for our country, because who wan point fingers, wey who im de point sabi im own crimes.

But my concern be say how di matter wan take end, if im get connection for where e matter, even if dem detain am, before you know dem go release am, case close and end of di matter. But if im be enemy of where matter, den im go go in for di crime, na so di matter be for naija.

At least dis one don redeem Patricia, image small, so dem go leverage on did finding to get di sympathy of dem customers to continue with dem services.
1833  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is Islamic Coin? A Muslim Community Coin 🔥 on: November 27, 2023, 05:29:16 PM

I agree that using a religious name to promote a coin, might limit it's acceptance to only investors that are in that religion. Personally I think that if a developer wants their project to attract a wider participants, then using a religious name might not be the best approach, because people that are not in that religion might not be comfortable to be a part of it.

Maybe this Islamic coin, might just be a name chosen by the developers to attract Muslims, to be a part of it, so it might not have anything to do with the Islamic faith. There are too many coins in the altcoins space, so they all have to compete for  relevance, and if these particular one in discussion can stand the test of time and gain people's trust, then it's all good.
1834  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Restart, is it a good thing for humanity? on: November 27, 2023, 03:26:23 PM
If we where to restart civilization,  will we restart the human nature? So far as the human mind is not tampered with, it's only a matter of time before we start thinking of another restart. The only thing that changed between now and early times is technological advancements. Man has always wanted to conquer is fellow man, there has always been good and evil, there has always been war, colonies, nothing much has changed in human character. In fact civilization has abolished some evils like slavery and reduced the influence of wicked and powerful individuals that will commit evil and get away with it.

Restart a thousand times might not be the solution to a better world, it is for us to be the change that we want to see.
1835  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcointalk forum a home of solution on: November 27, 2023, 02:15:01 PM
I personally see this forum as an institution where people come and learn about crypto related matters, and also different interesting topics on governments and economies worldwide. I joined this forum with a zero knowledge about cryptocurrency, everyone's knowledge that I've acquired about crypto is gotten from this forum. Every crypto news and related links that I've searched are gotten from this forum, and in less than a year that I joined, I can at least make meaningful contributions in any crypto discussions anywhere, thanks to the wonderful forum members who are always willing to impact their knowledge to newbies.

Beyond crypto knowledge, I've also broadened my views and understanding about economics and government, I understand issues better now from different perspectives of forum members.
1836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: From Mining to Gambling: A Rollercoaster Ride in the Crypto World on: November 27, 2023, 01:12:46 PM

That's my story, and I apologize if it was lengthy. I went to bed wealthy and woke up poor again.

No apology needed as far as I'm concerned, your experience that you shared is a big lesson for anyone that cares to learn from your mistakes. Lesson learned from you is that it's very dangerous to to chase loses in gambling, and any other challenges that confronts us. He who fights and run away, lives to fight another day, so when your loses exhausts your budgeted capital for the day's gambling, then it's better to retreat and live to gamble another day. So in summary, chasing loses leads to desperation, where you only realize how far you'd gone, only when the whole money is lost.

With your experience, I hope you give gambling a break, and stick to mining or bitcoin trading, they're far safer, not like gambling that you depend solely on luck to make profit or win.
1837  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many of These price tragets are realistically possible in 2025 ? on: November 27, 2023, 12:24:16 PM
I think the closest to reality there is btc, eth and and bnb. These two are massive coins that can make it possible to gain new ATH. Well bitcoin might go there but the valuation is too high maybe a $100k would be a perfect prediction to that and 10k for eth and as is for bnb. Most projects could be a game changer and other alts in the list might go as well provided that these three first will do the prediction figure and any tokens will follow suit.

In the order of profitability and reliability, i think that the crypto coins that you mentioned, starting from bitcoin, at the top, ETH and BNB, are more likely to reach the price Target projected by the OP. There is no limiting bitcoin, to cross $1000 mark, because of the high trust level that investors have about it's coming bull run, a lot of investments are going to pour in, to pump up the price. Then for top altcoins ETH and BNB, bitcoin bull run, will also impact their demands, that will see them increase significantly.

Hopefully CZ resignation as binance CEO, will not affect BNB bull run, and increase in it's value, because if it does, then it'll be a shame to have a top altcoins, go under.

1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platforms Where You Get The Same Level Of Enjoyment Like You Do In Gambling on: November 27, 2023, 10:03:32 AM

Mine is having a long ride on my motorcycle I feel it's refreshing and enjoyable, especially when I take on zigzag roads.
I'm a responsible rider and advocate of safe riding and if I'm not gambling online I love to take a long ride I have the same enjoyment doing both.

I think that your question should have been, what other type of recreation or game where you get the same level of enjoyment like in gambling. This is because I think that riding a bike is something physical and not game on a platform, except you're talking about a bike game.

Having clarified  that, for me what I love doing best for relaxation that goes beyond enjoyment for gambling is SINGING, in fact when I'm doing chores, working, relaxing and having fun, I always sing along. It's my number one hubby, at a point I thought that I was going to be a musician, but eventually it didn't happen. Old habit dies hard, and I always find myself singing most times, it's crazy, and i love it.
1839  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Recent matter suppose make pipo move Dem coin go their wallet on: November 27, 2023, 08:52:01 AM
I de reason dis issue of exchanges wey de go down, say weda na manipulation by some governments to frustrate di adoption of bitcoin, because of di decentralization of cryptocurrencies. Although e fit just be because of internal and external factors, anyhow na real cause for concern for people wey de run crypto things. Di latest one now wey be binance, wey don build solid reputation, wey people don trust say dem de reliable, come begin get shakeup because CZ, don comot as di CEO. If the new CEO no do something fast to restore di trust of dem customers, di exchange go go down like FTX and odas. As e be now na to only leave small money for transaction purpose inside exchanges, if you no get any transaction for exchange, better to leave all your coins for inside your none custodial wallet. With the recent happenings now, na none custodial wallet be di answer, because na you hold your keys, na you get di sole custody over the crypto coin wey de inside.
1840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to contribute to dao with earning? on: November 27, 2023, 07:39:24 AM
You mean voting on dao? It has different requirements. Sometimes you need the tokens to vote and it only permitted you to vote but doesnt mean you earn somwthing from it. You earn from potential airdrop or a criteria for a new project to be eligible for a new project. But youll earn somw token staked since you locked up your tokens for voting.

I mean we can contribute something to a DAO like helping to develop something.
Managing the community, writing articles for them, etc. by contributing our service and experience we can get paid for it, in the form of their token.
I want to know what are some tips to find good DAO and how to make reputation there and work for them by getting paid.

I'm still curious to know how DAO makes money,  because from what I understand so far, they're decentralized and autonomous, a place where members share ideas and vote to choose preferred options. So how do they get the funds to pay their members? You said that members can contribute by helping to develop something, manage the community or write article for them, members get paid in their token. So how do they utilize these services by members to make money, and who do they sale them to? I'm asking because I'm having interest to join one DAO to give my services and get paid.
