1821  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: November 24, 2015, 10:13:19 PM
Investing is high risk too in my opinion. Saving on a high invest rate account is the safest way to do it is my strong suggestion if you don't like to take any risk what so ever.
1822  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: November 24, 2015, 10:11:06 PM
You can't compare using bitcoin with using a credit card. Because the credit card companies charge a service fee for every transaction.
I don't know what kind of deal Shift has with Visa to waive these fees in order to pass on the savings of those to the customer.
Coinbase has a card but I would imagine that the pay per use is in order since it's a debit card and all the banks charge you to use their's on every transaction.
1823  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: November 24, 2015, 10:08:15 PM
Not buying any yet as I am waiting for it to go below $300 price because their is that wall for me at that price point and for most people too who don't want it to fall below that because they have some now and bought it at a higher price.

I like what I have seen from this project so far. Raspberry was made to being going hand and hand with the blockchain  Grin
1825  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: November 24, 2015, 10:04:53 PM

1826  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: November 24, 2015, 10:03:41 PM
I like bitcoin since gold can be stolen if someone broke into your house. That would be more devastating then if I lost some bitcoin as that could be more easily recovered than a physical item would be.
1827  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Storing money on Smartphone is far more secure than desktop or laptop on: November 24, 2015, 10:02:14 PM
Being on you smartphone is more hazardous because of the use of unsecured wifi connections when you are out and about.
1828  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most Secure bitcoin wallet ? on: November 24, 2015, 09:57:14 PM
Electum and mycelium is the most popular ones with offering a lot of rich features.

1829  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin and how it is in different countires on: November 24, 2015, 09:54:26 PM
Now I hear that Russia is going to ban it. But it too big of a county too ban so how could it be completely done? China tied to ban it when it was exposed to the public but now their government is trying to work with it.
1830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: November 24, 2015, 09:10:11 PM
You can't hold for very long and expect to make money from it unless their is a major increase in the price for a solid week without it going down at all. It almost did happen at the start of the month but it was not sustainable for very long due to it rising to fast. Slow and steady growth is the only way it can stay at a plateau that people will like and sell at that time thus making you money, putting you into profit.
1831  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Bitcoin become obsolete? on: November 24, 2015, 09:06:28 PM
It could be as the banks are just wanting the blockchain technology and just dispense of bitcoin all together. So never say never to anything in the world, or it might come true  Lips sealed
I personally don't want it to become obsolete as it is a free currency that is not strapped down by many rules and laws that other fiats are bound by.
1832  Economy / Speculation / Re: any chance Bitcoin will rise again to $1000 at Black friday ? on: November 24, 2015, 08:56:53 PM
This could happen and hoping it does. Just look at single's day in China. That was a record breaking day for online sales for them and that is like their Black Friday.
This year should be huge due to bitcoin being more well known and used by many more people than a year ago at this time.
1833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: November 24, 2015, 08:52:58 PM
Paypal is not accessible to everybody and if they are. Most likely will cost the sender a higher fee if in a county that is not in allowed areas (like India) or in  the receiver's local area (in North America).
I noticed when sending to someone in the UK I am paying a higher fee than if I was to send to someone in South America (sending as friend and family for both cases).
So I prefer bitcoin as the fees (miners fee) is the same to all senders no matter where they are located. It is decentralized currency. That should answer you question on which one is better to use when sending funds.
1834  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: what about scammer ? on: November 24, 2015, 08:44:51 PM
A rule about bitcoin:
DON'T TRUST PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW.

It is money so they will try and talk you into giving it to them and being an anonymous way to receive it, is easy way for them to get it.
Be wary of giving it to just to anyone.
1835  Other / Meta / Re: Shouldnt there be an activity increase today? on: November 24, 2015, 08:31:18 PM
I posted a couple of times today as i thought it will solve the problem and my activity will increase but im already waiting for a few hours any help?
I was in the same situation as you a few hours ago.
My registration date was the same day as your. Off by a few hours.
Mine: August 24, 2014, 06:17:10 AM
I was at 392 activity points just 3 hours ago then all the sudden turned 406 activity. Which I am surprised because I thought it was going to come tomorrow at the very least. So it was off by 3-4 hours. So my suggestion is just to wait, you will get it within that threshold.
1836  Economy / Services / Re: ✍ ✍ Android Apps ✔Download ✔Register ✔Complete 1 Offer and Get 0.004 BTC+ ✍✍ on: November 24, 2015, 08:26:50 PM

1837  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are down again? on: November 24, 2015, 08:23:51 PM
This is a stable price in my opinion as it is neither bad, people can afford to buy or good, people who want to sell aren't getting what they want for what they bought for a few months ago. Most wanted to cash in when it was $502 at the beginning of November but that is how it is with a volatile entity that bitcoin is. So this is just in the middle of that scenario, which to me is neutral ground.
1838  Economy / Gambling / Re: eSports on: November 24, 2015, 08:16:30 PM
I have been trying to find a site that I can bet on these games. So now I see the selection I can choose from as of now for the games I am wanting to place bets for instance CS:GO, StarCraft 2 & League of Legends.
1839  Economy / Services / Re: [SR. MEMBER] Bitroll.XYZ - Pay for signature and per post - Weekly cashout on: November 24, 2015, 07:15:54 PM
Haven't received payment yet... :p I'm leaving the sig on just in case as I'm giving .xyz the benefit of the doubt but I won't keep doing so for long if he keeps being silent.
Awaiting payment today is the 7th day.
