1821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 16, 2022, 06:22:55 PM
About the Clips vs Pelicans game, I guess I'm betting on the road team, no PG should be a problem for the Clippers.
When did you get the news about PG13? Because when I was checking last night it's not there yet. How much was the odds change when he was announced to not play because of a positive Covid illness? I bet it changed to +3 or more.
A friend of mind told me that PG will be out due to covid-19 safety protocol, I verified it with google and it's a real information.
The spread change to +1 for the Clippers.
I reckon the update was just last minute like it was 2-3 hours before the game began, last night Paul George was not in the list of any category that he cannot participate in the game against the Pelicans, if PG had play that game maybe they are the ones who will face the Phoenix Suns.

Anyway, the 1st game of the playoffs will commence few hours from now. It's Utah Jazz vs Dallas Mavericks (+/-5.5), Luka is ruled out for 2 games straight.

End of first half and Jazz is leading by 2 points, Jazz managed to change play tough defense and convert their offense.

Time for Mavs to adjust and look for a much better look and not to force their shots, Luka, as mentioned, is not playing more on
Brunson and Spencer for their offense.

The home team needs to work together and prevent Jazz from pulling away. They already gaining the momentum, Bojan and Clarkson
already got double digit points, while Mitchel and Gobert are supporting with good defense.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr vs. Yordenis Ugas 3-Belt Welterweight Unification Match on: April 16, 2022, 05:16:54 PM

I haven't thought of betting on the "DRAW", but looking at the odds, that attracts me. I would consider putting some money on the "DRAW" result, who knows, if this will be a close fight, remath could be possible, and the anticipated fight between Spence and Crawford will be delayed.

And once luck permits you to win, that would be a very nice odd for you.

Not sure if that may happen since Spence is a very aggressive fighter. If he manages to break Ugas, defense he will not stop
to keep throwing solid punches, Ugas though on the other hand needs not just to wait for a counter but instead he needs
also to create his own attack, surprising Spence that he's not just good for countering but also with attacking and aiming
for a solid conversion.
1823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: April 15, 2022, 04:28:48 PM

He always delivers a good fight he is confident on what he achieved and what he can do so the promoters and the boxing organizations should give him a well deserve fights, and nothing beats a fight with either Inoue or Donaire.

Except for the fight against Rigo where he cannot deliver a good fight because Rigo is not engaging like usual. Looks like he was just fighting to survive and yet expecting to win int the end of the fight. I'm sure this would be different, Butler is an aggressive fighter, so this is guaranteed a non boring fight.

We never know if he will test how good Casimero by aggressively attacking him and throw numbers of solid punches,

looking forward to see that since he's the challenger and he should throw that first blood to attract Casimero to engage with
toe-to-toe actions, both might train and anticipate how their opponents will come up inside the ring, but knowing Casimero
from those old fought that he made aside from Rigo, all are exciting and very entertaining.
1824  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: April 15, 2022, 02:44:42 PM
Until now I'm still staking and about 70% of my assets I use for staking, some places generate very small APY like Binance or Huobi, but if we compare it with interest banks today it is certainly more profitable, and this is what makes me prefer for staking instead of just holding coins in the wallet.

That's very practical instead of holding your asset and wait for the coins to pump.

As long that deal with researching those coins and allow yourself to work with up and down during the market fluctuations.
More on self study and able doing your good research with your prefer assets to stake your money.

Keep your investment profitable a passive way even in a small portions of benefits.
1825  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 15, 2022, 01:22:29 PM
Wow! Cleveland vs Atlanta odds changed as I expected. Yesterday it was Atlanta -2.5 at at just 1.85. Now I got it at -2.5 at 2.01. We will see if the Hawks can continue their momentum with their hot shooting. There's also the question on Jarrett Allen playing but most likely he will since this game will decide Cavs fate this season.

The current point spread now is already -2, meaning money is going to the Cavaliers a bit that's why there's a little change. But it's still up to you to choose the team you like to bet on, if you got the Hawks to win, then that -2.5 with 2.01 is good for you.

The last game they showed complete dominance, let's see if they can do the same against the Cavaliers which has a bigger lineup.

ML for both teams is also good enough if you are unsure, do or die and both teams are hoping to take the

last ticket to the playoffs, for sure both will do everything that they've got to win and make a playoff appearance. Though with
that handicap for Hawks, a small spread and you'll win much better may attract most Hawks fans.

We can't say if who can win both teams have their own rally and they can win, the one that played as a team will have a
better opportunities to take the last spot.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 15, 2022, 12:26:11 PM
At least when we see the game, we know that the chance of our bet to win is huge.  Grin

So I might stick with them on the road, again Trae Young doesn't flap and will show Garland who is the top point guard here. Young knows the gravity of this kind of game and seems to be raising up every stake with his performance. So I will stick with the Hawks, -2.5.

Take note that this is a play-in tournament bracket so usually underdog team can show an opposite result than expected since the match is a win or go home game only. A small mistake for Atlanta will result to a terrible loss. If I were you, I will wait for the second half to finish then bet live. Don’t be tempted on the prematch odds because that’s what bookmaker like if  the game result is an upset match.

Not all the time, pre-match usually gets more bets compared to live betting. If you are betting on the Hawks and they lead by 20 points in the first half, then you'll not be able to put your bet anymore unless you will take the high point spread.

That's the point of placing your early bet if you do believe that the team will win.

If you wait for the live game, you might not have that chance to take a good odd with your favorite team once they start
dominating and they've got an early lead, unless just what you mentioned, you are willing to take that big handicap. The risk
is too high and the chance of the opposing team to rally back is another thing that you need to consider.
1827  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 15, 2022, 07:56:46 AM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.
It's the bear market that makes the price fall. A heavy bear will market the coin die and not survive but if there will be no bear, all is going to be happy because the price will rise at most times. It makes the coin live longer but this was not possible. Bears are always here in this market and they are the opposite of the bull.

If there are no bears, there is still a normal decrease that will happen because cryptos are volatile, so it's still possible for someone to invest at lows and earn something when the price recovers. Those coin that remains on one spot are only the stable coins but even in stable coins, it's also possible to earn if you stake them.

That's another case though, but it's true stable coin can be stake and earn a small amount of stake rewards.

Moving back to this bear concern, it's true that the market movement is part of our trading. It will always take some time
for any project to experienced decrease, there are influences that push the value down, and if you are following the project
you'll be investing more if you see opportunities knowing that the coin will bounce back and give your decent amount
of profits.
1828  Economy / Speculation / Re: A Little Surprised! on: April 15, 2022, 06:47:23 AM
I was honestly expecting Bitcoin to hit $50,000 soon. That didn't happen. It shouldn't have been surprising but because of big news like Terra's gradual purchase of at least 10 billion dollars of Bitcoin for its UST stablecoin, MicroStrategy's additional purchase of thousands of Bitcoin, etc, I was expecting that Bitcoin's price would somehow react positively.

The said huge purchases will somehow give an impact on the price but that doesn't mean the prices went up to $50k instantly, we can't expect that. The market needs consistency in the market demand and must gain a strong support level to possibly make it, unfortunately, that was not what we are seeing now. Even the Microstrategy and Terra are investing Bitcoin in huge amounts, I wasn't expecting too much change in the price trend, We'd still be experiencing a sideways movement.

Yes, if there's no support other than that purchase, the value will still fall,

Unless there are more investors to follow what Terra and Microstrategy plus the adoption that will take place from
more businesses, it will create a big impact.

If that will happen, we may expect a huge bull run and anticipate more money to flow around. Otherwise, we will
just continue to see the same market movement, a little up and down while working with good barrier.
1829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safest browser for Metamask ? on: April 14, 2022, 06:12:38 PM
I've used all of those browser and haven't faced any problem yet. Although brave's CEO claimed they don't track or collect our data but i don't feel comfortable with it personally. I mostly use crome, and then Firefox. I think its more important to check out extinction, don't use if not urgent and shouldn’t visit any suspicious websites or try not to visit links from gmail, with metamask logged browser

You need to be more attentive to those many hack that happen, visiting unsafe sites or clicking malicious website

is more on your obligation. The browsers are still in your control unless someone has control or access to your device. Metamask
still safe using any browser as long as you keep your password away from other eyes.

Just like you, never open any suspicious website, hack begins from that simple click you are opening your door to a
potential hackers.
1830  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How weird is it to borrow money and invest into Bitcoin? on: April 14, 2022, 05:45:45 PM
Borrowing money from the bank to invest in crypto is essentially betting on which asset would appreciate more, a currency which suffers from inflation and has unlimited supply or an asset with storing value + utility. So yes, it would be weird not to do it.

If he's talking about some ideas about Bitcoin, then politely, here's the market for a while. He has no idea if they'll repay the loan, but we've mentioned the possibility of Bitcoin, but there's not much tension.  After a while, the market will return to normal, but investors will be under a lot of pressure to repay the loan if they have some patience, then their problem will be solved from here.

Best if he has other resources to pay that loan aside from waiting for his investment to grow.

This volatile industry is unknown. I mean, the chance is there either you'll gain profits or if the market does the sideways and
you don't have that knowledge and do the panic, the chance of losing a big portion of your loan money will be burned.
Unless you really have a deeper knowledge and you are willing to take that big risk, you never know what the future will be
the chance is equal to everyone it's on you take whether to deal with it or not.
1831  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 14, 2022, 03:42:19 PM
Boston Vs. Brooklyn in East.

This one is a great match-up, I have a feeling that this series will reach game 7.
Looks like an ECF for me, it's just good that Brooklyn is now an underdog in the series while they are favored to win the NBA Finals during the regular season.

Do you think it's wise to take the Nets to win the series against the Boston?
They are now 2.09 at my bookie.
With both have healthy players, it's tough to pick side, but if you are a Nets fan that odd is sweet enough

to risk your bet. Kyrie's mentality may take over the game just hope that he won't overuse his chance to keep shooting the ball
but instead, be a kind of leader that will win the game and not just an individual stat.

Boston, on the other hand, they already have that great system rotating the ball to an open man instead of forcing shots.
If they will use this, the chance is also good for them to revenge their last year's defeat.
1832  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins worth investing at dip on: April 14, 2022, 03:28:05 PM
With the price of Bitcoin dropping below $40k, the majority of altcoins have also experienced a decline. This provides an opportunity for us
to be able to buy altcoins at dip prices, but remember not all altcoins are worth buying. Of the 5 coins you mentioned, I admit that all of them
are popular coins and are among the top altcoins, but unfortunately I have doubts regarding the future of XRP. I think investing in XRP is
a bit risky, considering XRP is still having problems with the SEC, so I prefer the safe way by not buying XRP in the near future until the problem
with the SEC is resolved. There are still many coins that are better than XRP if we do research and analysis properly, maybe Cardano can be
an alternative to XRP in my opinion.
XRP looks risk because still have trouble with SEC Commission and I think between both site still try to win each other and not recommended to buy XRP before their problem with SEC Commission solve. I think another coins risk as TRX or TRON after confirming by the owner leaving this project looks not any potential with TRON or TRX reach to higher price. I don't agree with Cardano as worth altcoin investing because have long time reach all time high price until now drop almost 50% and hard reach higher price again.

You always need to do your own research before you take any coins to invest your money.

All those mentioned projects are still up and running, with your analysis pointing things that may affect the growth of those
assets will give hints to other investors.

Not a financial advise but doing your own DYOR will save you from investing to project that may lead you to lose your money
always find time to read and follow whatever coins you think are worthy of your investment.
1833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: April 14, 2022, 02:59:12 PM

That is already a fact but sometimes when these boxers are so busy and active getting fights, that factor will somehow slow down and sometimes it cannot be seen. But I agree that these veteran boxers shouldn't be underestimated because their experience speak for themselves and they are not easy to deal with. We've seen these boxers numerous times and fighting them lightly because they are old will lead to defeat.
Not sure Inoue will do that, he knows how furious the Pinoy Flash is and gives him that opportunities

can lead him to lose the fight. The first time they've met, he almost loses since Donaire keeps on converting those
solid punches. Good thing that he is still young, and he is able to handle it.

For sure, in this upcoming fight, he won't let Donaire to have that same conversion else. A lucky solid punch will
take him down and lose his belt.
1834  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 14, 2022, 02:20:15 PM

This is what I meant because regular games is really different compared to the pressure of play-in and playing in the playoffs and the Hawks have already that experience so it's quite easy for them to dominate the young Hornets. Against the Cleveland Cavs, I'm still going with the Hawks.

Yeah, it was on the last quarter when they had it but it was already too late because the Pelicans already buried them much early.

Experienced might be the big difference between Cavs and Hawks, but if Cavs will play the same type of energy

they've shown that last game against the Nets, the chance is also good for them, both teams do have firepower and if
those players will show their best. It can be a close match to watch out.

I'll be going to watch it during the live game and see if there's a good odd to bet, otherwise, maybe watching and enjoying
the game instead.
1835  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you preparing for bear market on: April 13, 2022, 02:49:27 PM
Crypto can't survive without a bear market, if not everything will remain at one spot and no reason to invest anymore what is the best strategy to prepare for a bear market and at the same time keep making a profit from the present market condition.
well it's quite risky to invest if the market is currently at bear market, so IMO much better to convert it to stable coin to prevent losses.
However, if you want to make profits despite of the situation, then i suggest learn how to trade because fyi in bearish you can actually make profits by shorting. But a reminder you must be skilled and knowledge enough because when it comes to it there's a liquidation.

Before stepping into this kind of business, better to study first and try to use your spare money.

DOn't just jump in and try sorting the market without further knowledge, bear marker can trap you and lead you to lose your
investment, experienced traders though are the people who can compensate with the situation, they are knowledgeable preparing
for what particular strategy that they will use in order to make some decent benefits.
1836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is staking coins? on: April 13, 2022, 01:36:07 PM

Yes, this is correct. Investing is very risky and if you find the right altcoin to invest with, earning in staking is really worth it if have a lot of shares you have since it will calculate how much you will get per annum. The good thing now is there is Staking online and you don't need to have a computer that will run 24/7 like before.

Good thing that you open that. There are known and reputable exchanges who can cater your staking participation.

Unlike before where you need to download the wallet and make sure to keep your PC open to stake your
assets and claim those rewards.

It will always end up in how good you sort the market, choosing the right coin to invest and stake your money
there's always a big risk that you need to anticipate so better to sort before you invest.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: April 13, 2022, 11:26:55 AM
Nets got the seventh place ticket as we expected. Cavs tried to stay in the game until last moments but it wasn't enough. Garland played big but didn't get much help from others. Nets led the game whole night. Kyrie played almost flawless, he didn't miss a shot until last quarter. Durant was as good as his average. Bruce Brown was an x-factor as he attempted the most field goals. That was because Cavs defend with too many double-team against Kyrie and Durant and that created him more space. As you can see from assist numbers, that strategy worked well for Nets. It was a fair result. Nets will meet with Celtics in play-offs.

Yes, that number of assist from both Kyrie and KD state that the double is really haunting them.

Good thing that Brown, Drummond and Claxton really help a lot and not to let Kyrie and KD down, they put numbers
that the team needs to win this play in tournament.

Now that they win against the CAVS, a rematch now with the hot Boston, same fate or upset would happen to the Nets
since the Celtics is really playing well after the all-star season.
1838  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 13, 2022, 07:02:15 AM

I just check the result of the game recently, I feel WTF how the heck did I lose while the game is very close on the last 3 minutes. I stop watching because I cooked lunch for my wife and dogs as I’m confident that Clippers got this game due to KAT ois already out. PG13 betray me this time.  Grin

I’m just betting a few bucks for fun so not a big deal for me.

Oh well, it's just a single point that you need to win your bet, sad to say PG didn't come up to rescue

your handicap, they really tried everything but Wolves also gives them the fight that they are bringing, not showing any
sign of wekaness but that strong will to move forward.

Congrats to whoever takes wolves handicap -3.5, it's fully covered, a good win for your bet.

350 Ape is 4200$  Cheesy this is a lot for an airdrop giveaway, its not even a airdrop that you participated in, they just decide to send that to your wallet for free, I hell no! This is obviously a big red flag, the Apecoin is fake and 350 would work on the greedy people, this scammer knows what he is doing  Grin Grin Grin.
And the thing is that someone might fall for it because he’s not the only one that have received that from the scammer. So, the question now is will other people who have received those tokens also reason it out like the OP did and be able to tell that this is another scam and isn’t anything legit? If they are up to ten there is likely going to be someone that might be that greedy to fall for it and thinking that the stars have shined upon them. How unlucky they would be when they finally discover it is a scam.
Well said, not all are the same in taking this kind of scam. There are greed people or unaware of this kind of

strategy coming from those scammers who will fall and engaged to what the scammers are intending to do. We can't say that
even with those many attempts that being done with this same format, everyone is already aware of these schemes.

Chances that there are still people who will try to sell and be disappointed knowing that there's none in terms of value
just a waste.
