1821  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 25, 2016, 02:00:06 AM
Probably no because work is my daily life. It is the soul of the society in which you need to face some men and women to grow your personality in the industry you place. Bonding with your friends and co-workers makes you feel better than isolating to the other person. Therefore socialism is acquired to your life.

That's a good point as well, it can be boring sometimes just to earn money with bitcoin and spend all the time at home without having any talks or times with friends or some co-workers which you get from a day job, so that can be considered a disadvantage of being full time bitcoin.

The ultimate goal should be to earn descent money, people will respect you only if you have enough money in your wallet, either you earn it from job or business or with bitcoins, no big deal.
thats true, though i doubt that bitcoins can actually help you i would just get an ordinary job and thats it

Bitcoin can give you what you want, but it also takes time to let bitcoin can work with you. because it is the currency of the bitcoin need sufficient time for it to be used properly and correctly. I think the work in the bitcoin is to follow the sign campaign, looking for a faucet, and also trading it was all we could do with a good
For now, we should consider ourselves workers for bitcoin, but when the time comes that we have already accumulated a lot of bitcoins into our own wallet maybe that would be the time to enjoy our earnings, cash it out and invest in our business in real world, diversification is necessary when you have a lot of money to invest already.
1822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: September 24, 2016, 09:20:13 AM
Gambling may be good for some people IMHO never found such people but many people here claim to do so. I personally feel that gambling is wrong and an individual should not get addicted to it. Most people lose more than what they win at gambling because they are plain greedy and the house edge catches them before they can cash out.
why you say gambling is wrong,if some one gets addicted to it then its the fault or the problem of the gambler. It depends on us how we handle with it.Many of us here enjoy the gambling and are way of entertainment for us.Getting addicted to gambling is really bad and i am agree with it,so anyone who cant handle himself should be away from it.
Exactly, we all know the risk in gambling therefore we should manage ourselves carefully that we will not be able to lose a big amount that we cannot afford to lose, gambling is purely for entertainment so if one will go beyond that then he should be blame for his mistakes.

I also will do agree with you gambling is not wrong for all people, it's our way through gambling which make this way worse and any addicted person has no life, if we are responsible to do gambling than it can be helpful to make some profit in some format like poker, blackjack and sports betting.
Gambling is just a pure entertainment for the gamblers and nothing else, if we are a responsible gambler and we have played gambling according to the way it should be, we will not blame it and call it as a sin, instead we will enjoy gambling even longer.
1823  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoin Economics on: September 24, 2016, 09:16:35 AM
I think that the key for success is that people realise that Bitcoin is not only good for gambling, trading or buying stuff on darkmarkets. Bitcoin could be used for some real business, your start up company, for investing in charles on stock market and even as paychek currency (in some amount) for your brokera. It should be more included in "serious" economy.
Just like fiat, it can also be use for illegal activities. That depends on the person using bitcoin, and this is just a currency, if they will use it for illegal activities that is not the fault of bitcoin but the user and they will pay the consequences.
1824  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will you do if you own 21 BTC? on: September 24, 2016, 09:11:53 AM
This may sound odd... but I once had around BTC60 with me. Even when the exchange rate climbed to $1,250 per coin, I refrained from selling any of these coins. And that was a very big mistake. Later, I lost a majority of my coins in various scams. Also, sold a few coins to cover my expenses. Now I am having less than BTC10 in my wallets.
Not too late mate, we just have to let go of the past experience and just learn from it, getting those amount is not because of luck, you have the skills and since you were able to get it for sure you can get more than that if you will not give up.
1825  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 24, 2016, 09:06:46 AM
I am slowly building up some online revenue sources with bitcoin and I believe slowly slowly that I can make a living wage maybe in six months from now. Now I am halfway there but am hoping to get to a better place economically if I stick to my plans and grow my income. I have so far three online revenue sources and planning to add a fourth one this week.

I suppose you won't be going to tell us what these income sources you've been up to. But my guess will still be just altcoin trading, translation services and also article writing. and like i said, its usually the skills that matters to survive in the online competition.
those are the best source and will give a big chances to gain big profits if we can make it too maybe we can stay in front of our computers and enjoying our time with our love ones. me im trying harder to learn more about trading just realizing that day trade have big difference from long term holders so im in the assessment now. good luck

Yeah if you have multiple ways of earning it then you can expect higher income from it, it may not be stable but you can surely earn descent income from  it if you follow it regularly.
Like they said the more the merrier but with jobs the more the better because we can make more money for sure if we area hard working. Actually, there are a lot of opportunities here online, its up to us if we are interested to try, and if we try we will know that it can give us a chance to make money.
1826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Off-Season on: September 24, 2016, 05:18:56 AM
This is it, Kevin Garnet now hanging his jersey after 21 season. The Big Ticket is one of the loyal players I have seen in the league because he just left his first team Minnesota Timberwolves after decades due to frustration about what is happening on this team. He carry Timberwolves many times and even bring this team in the Western Conference finals which is unusual.

Kevin Garnett Says 'Farewell' After 21 Seasons In The Nba

Ron Artest should be given enough minutes to make the game entertaining, I like the way he plays because he is so physical and that makes his teammates to be inspired and will play as hard as they can, they have a lot to prove this season because they cannot make excuses anymore that Kobe just ruin the game.

Yeah when we talk about Ron Artest it's really a physical one and even in Metta World Peace still he's physical. Tongue
The way he played does not change though he change his name and that's what we miss as NBA Fanatic. On the other hand, I am glad garnett have retired already because he needs to, he has been an inspiration for the new generation of players and hopefully the T Wolves squad can give garnett their gift by entering the playoffs this season.
1827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: September 24, 2016, 05:15:02 AM
There are no safe method by playong gambling the safest one is not to play gambling thats it if you dont playing gambling then you will not lose your money and bitcoin gold or anything that you have gambling may be addicted

This is the safest method which  is  you dont  play gambling at all , if you dont like to lose your money then  dont  play just like what you said you wont  lose nothing.  Safe methods on gambling means 100% winning rate  which  is impossible and  doesnt exist at all. Gambling  based  on pure luck.
no i am not agree with you, i thing quiting gambling is not the safest way, if you want to play then how can you quit are you forcing your self? to me the most safest method gambling is to play gambling in a limit, and never try to exceed that limit, i personally do gambling in a fixed limit that i can easily bare.
If you quit, that means you have admitted already that you cannot enjoy in gambling and that is the good thing to do for you not to aggravate your loses, gambling is strictly for responsible people who knows how to manage themselves in the riskiest game in the planet which is gambling.
1828  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 23, 2016, 02:00:06 PM
if some one can give me guaranty about the fixed income from bitcoin then i will quit my day job for bitcoin, but i think still i can give good time to  bitcoin if i even not quit my day job.
yes, it is safe to keep your job. If you could have trading experience, I would say yes, but without experience should not give up your job.
Lol I think there will be no one who can guarantee that you will get a fixed salary in bitcoin. even many people still trying to earn a living in bitcoin Lol

Its not possible for everyone to earn a living with bitcoin as for that you need to earn good amount of coins in regular basis but the earnings may vary from time to time and that is really risky.

if the person does not have a job or difficult to get a job and there is no other choice, I think they would earn a living of bitcoin and it was the same as what I did when first using bitcoin and do not have a job.
but if you have a job, you do not have to take the risk to quit and earn a living in bitcoin.

Yes if you have a good job with descent salary then you can't take risk of quitting it as full time job will give you stable income which is not possible with bitcoins.
That depends on your ambition in life, me I have been working for many years and I have not reach my ambition yet. I want to have a good future for my family and I believe I can only achieve that if I will choose to quit my job and focus on business and I think staying in the bitcoin world is a way of business.
If you are confident that you can manage to earn more in bitcoins then there is nothing wrong in quitting your job as our primary concern should be to have higher income to live comfortable life.
Yeah, that is a big risk but if you will look at the brighter side you will also get the best benefits, the saying is real and it could be apply for person who quit his job for bitcoin, " the more your risk the bigger the reward" and the reward there is financial freedom.
1829  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Becoming a Global Currency on: September 23, 2016, 01:56:40 PM
I do not think it's already a global currency, still needs to be used by more people to be considered like that. But I'm sure that the future may bring great possibilities.

It can't be used by more people as long as we keep the 1MB blocksize.

We won't get anywhere near global currency levels if nothing is done to fix this.
The definition of global for me is also base on the total users of bitcoin and since we are just small in terms of numbers, I think maybe tomorrow we can become a global currency, too early to tell my friend.
1830  Economy / Economics / Re: The future of the paper money on: September 23, 2016, 08:30:56 AM
Interesting thoughts, I believe  that over time the paper money will  become obsolete. The convenience of  electronic payment systems brings great market  opportunities ahead.

It is a pity that paper moneyight become obsolete with time buy it has its own conciniency. Electronic currencies depend on technology which can fail at one time. Imagine a situation where there is total lack of internet even for just 5 minutes. I bet trillions will be lost over the world.

What do you mean by trillions lost? No money will be lost even if there is a total blackout, not just some internet connection severed. A few monies may not get earned, indeed, but certainly not in the range of trillions unless there is no more electricity for good (just like in the Revolution movie series). Beside that, digital currencies started off decades before Internet...

The technology behind electronic funds transfer (wire transfer) had been developed in the late 1950s - early 1960s
Glad to know that, you really are very knowledgeable sir, I find new lessons on some of the comments you've shared. I am just a young person but I am already very confident with my belief that bitcoin will be successful in the future while paper money will still remain.
1831  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: September 23, 2016, 08:25:11 AM
It is not that easy for everybody, if they have many debts to pay. But a good advice may be applied, I think if you avoid to have a lot of debits to pay or avoid to buy expensive things, this may help you to cut costs.
Well, having a debt cannot be avoided if we are in desperate need of money but if you have debts because of wrong decision making then you should blame yourself, I know people will take a loan just to by the latest gadget like Iphone 7, do you think that is worth to do?
1832  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: September 23, 2016, 08:21:08 AM
i will always choose bitcoin, because i like to invest my money in such place where from where i can get a good profit, therefore bitcoin will be the best option for that, because the price of gold is so stable and there is very little fluctuation in the price of bitcoin.
if you want a quick profit I think you have to choose a bitcoin, because with bitcoin you can benefit more quickly because bitcoin has fluctuations, different when you invest in gold
That is easy to said mate but hard to do, I have seen many traders telling that it is easy to make money in bitcoin because the coin is volatile but in reality they are not really earning well, they are just hiding their real record and that is not good for the newbie as they will assume it was easy.
1833  Economy / Economics / Re: How too get rich on: September 23, 2016, 08:17:35 AM
Well, I wish I could go back there  as well, and certainly anyone  would like to go there. Since  it is not possible, I think the best thing to do is to keep focused  working on the present, thinking  about the future, of course.
yeah of course, if you already have a job and it gives bitcoin fixed income for you, what else do you need? you just need to continue to focus on working and collect bitcoin?
Only in day job where we can assure we will have a fixed income, in bitcoin the income might be good but not for all because only those people who understand bitcoin will know how to make money. There are many ways to earn like trading and investing but in signature campaign just a little amount I guess.
1834  Other / Off-topic / Re: What to do with my signature campaign earnings ? on: September 23, 2016, 08:14:04 AM
In case you do not have the required experience to trade in the market, then I would suggest you to hold your btcs, or use some part of it to invest in something else, that also has real potential.
That's better and safe, holding your bitcoin can give you more benefit because we do not need to sell when there is a panic and since the future of bitcoin is bright as most of us believe here, we can always make profit holding longer.
1835  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: September 22, 2016, 08:46:58 AM
I would gamble for the fun some times because if you are rich you have not much to lose so it would just go out an play a bit.
I would not gamble with to much money because that his how you are going to end up broke if you cannot control your self.
You have all the privilege to enjoy when you are rich, therefore it is good to gamble as long as you can control your self and you know the risk when you failed to gamble responsibly, if I am rich I would tour the world and I will gamble in every casino.
1836  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: September 22, 2016, 08:40:07 AM
there are few cafes shops in the uk thats accepts coin and i somehow spend some  have you your experience ? and how did you feel? when i was  sending coin  peoplein the cafe was looking at me and asked me about it truly i feelt like im .... hurraaaaaaaa
I sometimes do that but I do not want to spend to much Bitcoin in real life because I want to hold on to them for the future.
If I want to be something in real life it is much better to use real money instead of Bitcoin.

How can you expect the higher price of bitcoin in future if none will prefer to spend them? We need to spend them as a other currency to take its price higher in future.
Just let the others do the spending while we do the holding, the spenders are already more than enough to affect a price increase. We should be more focus on being a business minded because majority of the people will not think of the future, instead they use their bitcoins for gambling.
1837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your gambling strategy on: September 22, 2016, 08:36:31 AM
I think almost everybody have tried martingale at least once. During a long period of time my strategy have been martingale on 50% winning chance. With that strategy you almost always can double you balance and sometimes you might get close to 100k from 200 sats faucet. Of course I'm talking about dice gambling sites. And don't forget that you might lose all your balance in two minutes too.

Recently I came to another strategy which is also a martingale but of a different kind. I play with 10% winning chance and I double my bet every fifth time after consecutive losses. If I win I go back to the initial bet which is around 0.5% of my balance.
Martingale is only good if you just analyze it but when you apply that is when you will understand that it is not applicable in gambling especially when there is a house edge, you cannot just win easily especially in dice as that game has no flaws in favor of us, it always favors the house.
1838  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 22, 2016, 08:30:38 AM
Going all in on Bitcoin is just too risky an investment at this stage in the game. Don't get me wrong, Bitcoin has made great strides over the years, but it's still a young concept. If someone is 100% set on working within the Bitcoin community full time, the safest way to achieve this is as an entrepeneur within the community part time, and quitting your day job if/when you get a successful business model in place.
I would not go full time on Bitcoin because there is not that much that you have to do on Bitcoin.
Full time on Bitcoin means 8 hours per day and you do not need that much so it is better to also have a normal job.

Yup earning from bitcoin can be managed in spare time as we are not into earning it in different ways, so its good to continue with full time job and keep bitcoin as an extra income.
Depends on your way to earn, if you are just earning by signature campaign, then maybe that can be acceptable but if you are a full time trader, I think you need to spend more time to study the market and to be successful.
1839  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for advertising opportunities on: September 21, 2016, 02:35:32 PM
I would suggest you run a signature campaign here, it will surely be a great success of your business, there are many members here who are willing to advertise your services and in return you have to pay a decent amount to hire a qualified posters.
1840  Economy / Services / Re: [Opair] Signature Campaign - 6 Week bounty pool! on: September 21, 2016, 02:26:51 PM
He was online today, maybe he is just preparing for the big blast of the pay, you guys should wait and you shall receive your bounty.
Do you expect me to carry around escrow wallets all day long? Do you think it would be a very secure way to? Or should I best use coinbase or some other online wallet for the task?
It's fairly easy to browse the board from a mobile device, escrowing coins on it, making said secure and sending out big payments (in terms of numbers of outputs) is not that easy.
The wallet holding the 7 BTC bounty is securely stored at my home PC and I will send out payments as soon as I am home again and double checked everything.
Forgive me for having a life outside of this forum aswell, but after all, managing campaigns alone doesn't put the food on the table.
I'm open for donations and tips though, if you want to help going a step in that direction.

I understand your situation, I was just saying what I observed.. Sorry, if you feel bad about my comment. Humans do commit mistakes. Anyway, congratulations on this campaign, you managed it well. Grin
