18221  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [2015] Need some advice on what exchanges are good (and safe)... on: April 05, 2015, 07:35:01 AM
kraken all the way, never been hacked, good volume fast sepa(8 hours), no fees basically(for withdrawal)

bitfinex is also good, you can take a look at coinimal, it seems a good exchange, and they don't hold your money, your bitcoin are converted directly and go to your bank account/debit card
18222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to your Bitcoins when you die? on: April 05, 2015, 07:25:30 AM
only my family can have access to them, but they don't know how to use bitcoin

if you have a very trustworthy friend/parent you can just give him your key, and hoping he does not lose it or something like that
18223  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paid per post on: April 04, 2015, 07:38:53 PM
you need firstly, to reach a full member status at least, then you can join one of those signature campaign and start earning, but read te rules first, not all section are allowed

be patient and up your rank first, then choose one of these signature campaign you want... Cheesy
that's may good option...,  Smiley

it is very long, the better he bought the account, at a price between 0.05 - 0.1 and in 1 or 2 weeks of money he could return  Smiley
Im not sure about that. If he buys a full member account at around lets 0.07.. what campaing is going to pay that in 2 weeks, let alone 2? The one im at right now will certainly not. What I like tho is the automated system and the consistency. I hate campaings that so little and you need to re enroll every time. It's a waste of time.

0.07 is nothing, you can roi in one week with bit-x, you just need 100 posts(they pay 0.0008 per post), and 100 posts in a week are only 100/7 = 14 a days

this shows that buying account is very profitable right now, even if they cost double of what you said
18224  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaign? on: April 04, 2015, 07:19:51 PM
777coin, bit-x and dadice, no need to look in the service section, those 3 offer the best payment, the first is recommended for newbiew/jr then you can move on the other two

18226  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin shut down for 8 hours? on: April 04, 2015, 05:46:28 PM
51% isn't shutting down, it's just a cintrol over the network, if you stop the attack the network will return alive

let me rephrase it, it's impossible to shutdown bitcoin permanently

With a 51% attack you can prevent people from spending coins by not confirming their transactions. If you can't spend your Bitcoin I don't see how you can say the Bitcoin network is up.

Yes you are correct, you cannot shut down the network permanently unless you kill every Bitcoiner and destroy all Bitcoin clients and any evidence of bitcoin ever existing, probably would also be a good idea to outlaw all forms of electronic communication, encryption and privacy to prevent anyone from building something similar to Bitcoin. Anything less than that can be recovered from with enough time and resources. One copy of the Blockchain would be needed to preserve balances, we have atleast 7000.

But the Bitcoin network CAN be down and has been down in the past, it isn't magic, it is vulnerable to attack just like everything else in the world.

the network is still up, but just for the dude who is attaccking it, this isn't shutting down, it taking under control like ai said above, if he can double spend then it mean that the network is up(for him only, but still up)

i think people are not following what i'm saying
18227  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is still in the year 2013. How do we get past it? on: April 04, 2015, 05:40:43 PM
nah i don't agree, bitcoin adoption is much better now, there are various merchant accepting it, and big name too, are using it as a currencie( newegg, dell ecc..) many other are coming(paypal , neteller)

2013 like 2014 was just a pump and dump , now we achieved a stable price(it's low yes, but at least it's stable), which was one of the thing people asked for

LMAO.. $303- $235 in the last 4 weeks.. LMAO.. Yeah BTC is stable!

 Grin Cheesy Grin

what you are talking about, bitcoin is at 230 now for 3 months(small swing like 230 --->290, don't count, they are just small pump for sucking fish money), not 4 weeks, have you seen the chart? are you following market data/price?

btw with stable i don't mean a price that is stuck there, little variations of price are impossible to prevent, they are fine, but the overall value it's stable in the end between 200-300, with 230-250 as a floor basically
18228  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mining on: April 04, 2015, 03:30:11 PM
I would like to form a brand new pool or design one. Would we have to group up on here? and what is a average difficulty?

You're going to need amass about 3 Peta Hashes (about the equivalent of 3000 AntMiner S5s) worth of miners to score blocks more than once a day.

he want to setup a pool not a big farm, there is a difference

pool only require many miners, he don't even need equipment, just a good front and back-end, with a powerfull server, at least 32 giga + xeon, and anti-ddos protection

18230  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash - a new anonymous prepaid card [Recharge it with bitcoin] on: April 04, 2015, 03:22:32 PM
you are right there are some heavy restrictions

"Before you verify your account, you can only receive funds and make internal transactions with a $2,500 limit. When you reach this limit, it will be reset in 30 days. All withdrawal transactions will be processed manually. Verified users can make instant automated transactions."

internal trasaction mean that you can't use the card to purchase something, but only transfer fund to your account, if i understood it correctly
18231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Import Multi privkey in bitcoin core ? on: April 04, 2015, 03:14:33 PM
it's better to use those private keys to sign raw transactions, than importing them, it's faster

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Raw_Transactions

or you can do a script to do it for you, because i don't think it is possible via command-line

18234  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin shut down for 8 hours? on: April 04, 2015, 02:42:06 PM
Read the rest of the little tit's tweets. It's one long line of bitterness and FUD. And don't you think you would've heard something about it in a rather loud manner on every single thread on every single bitcoin forum and news source if it were true?

Is this even possible to shut down whole system by anybody?

you know that bitcoin is decentralized? no one can forcibly shut down anything, that's the point of a decentralized system, totally detached from anyone

the OP is referring to the forum btw

You are both wrong:

https://bitcoinmagazine.com/3668/bitcoin-network-shaken-by-blockchain-fork/

It is posts like these that I don't particularly like, people stating facts about Bitcoin that seem true, others see them and also believe them, yet they are furthest from the truth and the answer was already posted in the thread. This is the reason that people like patio11 exist.

FTFY

That's usually what is meant when someone says "impossible to shut down".

If you want to forcibly shutdown the bitcoin network temporarily, you can do so with a 51% attack, a Sybil, or exploiting bugs/exploits in Bitcoin Core (which is arguably what the March 2013 issue was, someone could've exploited the situation to double spend coins, IIRC OKPay had a transaction double spent). It is incredibly difficult to do, but it is POSSIBLE, and those who say otherwise are misinformed.

51% isn't shutting down, it's just a cintrol over the network, if you stop the attack the network will return alive

let me rephrase it, it's impossible to shutdown bitcoin permanently

18236  Economy / Services / Re: (This is Urgent) I NEED SOMEONE on: April 04, 2015, 12:07:55 PM
i can help you installing java on that vps with linux(i don't know what os is running), then it is just a matter of downloading and installing the miner , should be very simple
18237  Economy / Services / Re: Selling a bot for renting machine on: April 04, 2015, 11:20:09 AM
I use miningrigrentals a lot but I fail to see how this can help me ?
What does this do that I cant do from my account there ?

Cheers
Mark

it would help you if your miners are often stolen by someone else, also you don't need to stay there at miningrig, the bot do this for you
18238  Economy / Services / Re: Selling a bot for renting machine on: April 04, 2015, 11:13:40 AM
still available if someone is interested, 0.2 is a good price for this bot i can't lower further
18239  Other / Meta / Re: how long does it take to get to full member status? on: April 04, 2015, 11:12:02 AM
if you need it fast i would suggest to buy one, they don't cost too much, around 0.15 max i think

otherwise you need to wait a very long time
why would you need it?

because you can join a better signature campaign that pay way more, 0.15 is a low mount for that, you will roi pretty fast
18240  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: fund BIT-X account with credit card on: April 04, 2015, 10:54:52 AM
yeah they are legit don't worry, btw fee on deposit does not make sense(fee would come in this case only by your bank, if you deal in a different currencies, but as a far as i know bit-x don't charge any fee on deposit), there is only fee on withdrawal(about 120k satoshi right now)
