18381  Economy / Economics / Re: What if US Dollar Crashes? on: March 30, 2015, 07:07:15 AM
bitcoin will tied with euro if the dollar crash, otherwise bitcoin will crash too

then the USA will probably buy every bitcoin, and control the market again, nothing will change
Bitcoin is completely independent and has nothing to do with the fiats, it's not cause and effect, but logically any fiat showing weakness benefits Bitcoin and metals.

right now we are evaluating bitcoin basing on fiat, if all fiat crashes then how can you evaluate it? it's value cannot simply rise because you can't evaluate it anymore

If usd crashes then euro will sky rocket and USA will be in a economic depression
Euro is going to be gone

why you keep saying this, euro is still stronger than usd, despite the current situation
18382  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i get my btc ? on: March 30, 2015, 06:59:43 AM
I want to get my btc to play around. I tried btc-flow.com but it closed, then I heard I can get from btc-wolf.com but it does not work also  Sad
What is the most profitable legit faucet I can get btcs quickly Huh

try to follow the campaign's signature, if your account is still a newbie, you can buy an account Full members and within a week or two weeks you can get your bitcoin back  Smiley

Why not buy then a hero member account, after all you want the big bucks from signature campain isnt it?

atleast i would do that....

better to buy a senior account, hero tend to cost double of a senior and they rise your income by a little with the current payments of many campaign if not all...
18383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Not Understanding Cold storage on: March 30, 2015, 06:57:47 AM
I want to create a "Cold storage" Wallet but I only have one computer. Also i'm running Mac OS X, and i'm not good with ubuntu or linux commands.

I figured I could just turn off the wifi and keep my wallet on a external disk, like a USB thumb drive.

I'd like to do that but i'm kinda lost now as I tried to create a wallet while offline in Electrum and the program objected to that.

I really have no idea what to do to make this work. Anyone know of a guide to do this or can explain how to do this on one of those silly Macintosh computers?

i think you should keep it simple, put the wallet in a usb and leave it there, you are done

to use those btc again just plug the usb in a safe desktop, (old laptop formatted and used only for bitcoin, don't do nothing else on this laptop/desktop)
18384  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: New Diff thread Mar 22 to Apr. 5 not ready for prime time on: March 30, 2015, 06:55:23 AM
so it rised so much at the end 9%+?

can we do another prediction until april 5 right?
18385  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: think i found the most profitable coin sha256. on: March 30, 2015, 06:53:05 AM
those obscured coins can always reveal some surprise, mine it until the diff is low, and then leave it, sell fast because those coins die fast, they are just P&D fest
18386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi on: March 30, 2015, 06:48:39 AM
Not necessarily. If Satoshi can't use those Bitcoins in any way, at the least he'd want credit for creating Bitcoin. Satoshi already revealed himself, it's just people don't want to accept it. And he's not Dorian or Nick Szabo.

Source?

If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

if you are talking about that old japanese man, then you are wrong, that's not satoshi, there wasn't any conimation about him being satoshi
18387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you convince a newbie to use BTC? on: March 30, 2015, 06:45:11 AM
i would say to those newbies that bitcoin is like a thing composed by multiple safe box all connected by a chain, inside those safe box there are bitcoin(25 x for each safe box), and to use them you need a key(private key)

the definition of spending bitcoin in this case it's simple transfering them from a safe box to another
18388  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: If BTC/USD went to $0.00 tomorrow or diff = ∞ how would it affect you ? on: March 29, 2015, 06:56:24 PM
it would affect me too much economically speaking(even considering that i didn't invest anything into it), and technically speaking too, i love bitcoin as a new tech of trasnfering money
18389  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Speculation] Bitcoin Price Drop in 5... 4... 3... 2... on: March 29, 2015, 05:52:32 PM
Time to sell, I sold at 255$ yesterday.

this is what whales want you to do now, panic selling, thus they can buy and pump this sick bitcoin again, then little investors will follow the pump buying into it, this will lead to another crash by the whales

i would wait if i was you, it shouldn't drop too much
18390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be hacked and what will be the result if it happens? on: March 29, 2015, 05:44:05 PM
The Private keys can be brute forced. But I don't think you're going to find the correct combination if you do so very easily or soon. It will take some of the world's super computers years to do that, millions.
However, if you're keeping your bitcoin on a Online wallet just consider your bitcoins lost/hacked already Wink

brute forcing a private key is only theorically possible, practically will never happen, even using all the supercomputer of the world it would require so much time, that the universe might collapse first, before you finish brute forcing your key
18391  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What should I do with my BTC? on: March 29, 2015, 05:40:58 PM
invest in bit-x cloud, in this way you say a big tnx to bit-x for your payment  Cheesy

or...buy the best thing that makes you happy
18392  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Curious on: March 29, 2015, 04:19:59 PM
no, don't use it for that, instead you use it for a bitcoin node to help the network, and you can turn it also into something like a "personal bank", don't surf the web and don't download anything, just run the client

it should turn in a pretty safe wallet
18393  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reasons Bitcoin does not replace Fiat (today March 2015) on: March 29, 2015, 04:09:41 PM
fiat isn't better either, so why i shouldn't choose bitcoin right now, if fiat is worse?

-bank are not trustable at all, they can lose your money and come up with different excuse everytime
-same risk to lose your debit card as your phone here, so on par
-i could agree on this, but still faster then sepa, not faster then paying with credit card but whatever..., unless we don't count any confirmations
-that's because we are still in beta, i'm sure more tech will come up to improve scalability
-fiat is even worse here on anon, at leats bitcoin ca be semi-anon, if you like how to use it

bitcoin isn't completed yet, people always tend to forget this particular...

I do trust my bank, probably shouldn't.... but in USA, if you are not a criminal your money feels safe to me
I don't really care if i lose my debit card, it has a simple pin to protect me long enough to stop withdrawals, i have never lost money on a debit card, i do worry about using my credit card
Well I agree we are in beta, which is really the point of my post, early early beta
fiat is totally anonymous in person to person transactions, and I can spend 5k or less person to person and not care one whit, especially if whatever i am buying has not official provenance like a title, or registration

how is fiat totally anon face to face? even if you use cash(unless you found those cash on the street lol) you need to withdrawal them first from atm, and any withdrawal like that is monitored

If you withdraw $100 and bought a bundle of dope.  Nobody knows what you spent it on

IRS knows... that's because you spent a low amount, and they don't care about those amount, but they actually know about it

18395  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin prices fall $250 --> $240 where next ? $500 ? on: March 29, 2015, 03:34:20 PM
For some reason once Bitcoin nears $300 level something happens or bad news shows up and it falls down to below ~$250 level again.

Is it coincidence, or is a group of traders heavily manipulating the price. But then again, why would they keep Bitcoin down as they had plenty of time to buy in already.

Bitcoin is a free market. We decide the price of Bitcoin. That basically means we don't think Bitcoin is currently worth $300.

the problem is with the "we", right now are the whales that decide the price of bitcoin, they don't keep it down, they aim at fish that buy coins, then they dump hard, hence repeat, this is why you see those crash
18396  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: - Seller Bitcoin Hardware in EU - on: March 29, 2015, 02:24:34 PM

18397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can I mine with my y510p Lenovo Laptop? Specs given in post on: March 29, 2015, 02:19:39 PM
you can't mine with cpu anymore, it's not 2009, the same for any altcoin, but there are exceptions here, some altcoin come only with cpu mining because they have new algo that can't be mined with nothing else for a short time.

try to mine those at launch
18398  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for me to sell my Bitcoins? on: March 29, 2015, 02:17:06 PM
People have been arrested for selling Bitcoin?
What country is it and could you put a link to where you read it?

there was a recent arrest about a guy known here in the forum, he traded bitcoin face to face, and they have seen him... apparently

also this

18399  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: is cointellect mining illegal in India on: March 29, 2015, 02:14:29 PM
it's not thta mining is illegal or earning bitcoin and converting them , the problem here is that cointellect was(and it is now even more) a ponzi scheme, and this is illegal

they also don't pay anymore any contracts, so now they are scammers 100%, at least before they were paying...
18400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Best" cheaper smart phone for spending BTC? on: March 29, 2015, 02:11:02 PM
Phones have lower security than computer devices I would say keep all in cold storage.

that's not the point, he need it to spend them when it is not at home

i would suggest the cheaper galaxy phone out there, i've spotted the galaxy gran neo plus, should be good enough or s3 yes
