1841  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: PACMiC V5 contract is coming! on: November 12, 2016, 10:14:07 AM
How much ROI do people actually get from these plans on Hashnest?
Was always under the assumption that they weren't profitable.

APR should be something about 4%. That s OK but not really that great. It s up to you to asses your options.
1842  Economy / Services / Re: ★ Coinroll ★ Signature Campaign ★ on: November 12, 2016, 08:07:47 AM
Yesterday I ve received that -1 issue again. Post have not been counted. Is this something due to Bitcointalk or the bot s got a problem?
1843  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: November 12, 2016, 07:24:39 AM
anyone have exprience with  auto buy  for these  pac man contracts. how that go.  how does it even work.

The autobuy just reinvests the payout back into the PACMiC to increase your hashrate.  You won't actually be paying down the balance on the principal if you select this option.

Running some simulations, I am getting about 3.25% APR on these contracts.  Not very good at all.  That is by far the lowest they have every offered.

EDIT: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zbKKyXtW0vcfGDufk_UIRg_gAi0JzjsFwvB7LGj8bOI/edit?usp=sharing

3.25% s not good, there is risk involved and I would not touch this for this low amount of APR.

Another list created by the referral hunting people seeking easy money. There s no easy money bud, try working for a change.
1845  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Someone told me HASHOCEAN is coming back on: November 12, 2016, 07:07:39 AM
Please close down this thread. Hashocean was a scam, it was obvious from day one. No need to continue the story anymore.
1846  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Solve Captchas on: November 12, 2016, 06:47:17 AM
Has anyone tested this one? The price seems too low to be true. $15 montly for 5k per day.
1847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 12, 2016, 06:37:52 AM
Folks, my understanding is that M2 is currently just on the testnet and as soon as it has been tested successfully, M2 will be implemented on the main chain. That would be the actually M2 and Factom would announce it again?

Please correct me if Im wrong but did I get this right?

Yeah seems to be what is suggested, once it they are happy with testnet it will switch over.
I'm sitting here spamming it with with crap entries and making a bunch of requests for my nonsense data. Test network seems to be holding up fine, even with only 6 fed servers.
Prefer they test it well rather than rush it out. Ain't no need to pander to the crypto community, they not the customers here.

Really? So this means we re irrelevant from Factom viewpoint?
1848  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: November 11, 2016, 09:11:11 PM

Damn, that s really low. I guess BTC market has become liquid as well, lots of money invested, not enough quality products.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halving is a profitable??? on: November 11, 2016, 09:07:49 PM
I think not .. because at halving days, bitcoin rose only slightly .. far from the predictions .. Cry Cry Cry
Without the past halvings, the price wouldn't be at 600$ today. The previous didn't make that much difference just yet but it will eventually will. The mining difficulty will blow up as it is growing exponentially and that would make it very hard to mine new bitcoins that the only Bitcoins that'll be circulating are the ones that were mined before. It'll make Bitcoin very scarce as new investors come in and that would make the price of Bitcoin higher.

The last halving made a big difference from the 400 dollars to 600 dollars its a 50% there is nothing that will you make such ammount. Sure people were expecting a 800 dollars, and they werent able to remember bitcoin were traded at 250-300 dollars last year, at 2020 im expecting bitcoin reach 900 dollars atleast, soo sure the halving has a huge impact into the value, without halving bitcoin would be like supply and demand, with the value of 200 dollars maybe.

I think before the halving happens that bitcoin price reach $600? After halving it slowly go back to normal, that happens last july. Now bitcoin price is at $700. For sure, this will continue until next year. Hope so.
A month before halving day the price not more $400, when halving day and after a week reach $800. I sure with halving day is a advantage for bitcoin. Next year the price more than $1000

True, halving has had its effect, BTC got 50% price increase so no problem there. Whether the price ll continue to rise, well, yes, I think so. 1000 is the next obvious milestone.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 11, 2016, 09:04:35 PM
Brian said a few weeks minimum, so I d say end of this month to be absolutely sure till M2 s been reached.
1851  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How long will signature campaigns last? on: November 11, 2016, 08:08:44 PM
First, I do not think BTC will reach bonanza any time soon. I ve been listening to this for years and guess what, still nothing.

Second, even if the price would go up, sig campaign manager would accommodate and reduce rewards payable in BTC to match BTC price.

Third, more people entering Bitcoin market means larger market for products we all promote by being parts of sig campaigns.

So, no problem there.
1852  Other / Off-topic / Re: Average Age of Bitcoin users on: November 11, 2016, 07:22:22 PM
I d say below 40, significant IT affiliation and lots of time on their hands.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: November 11, 2016, 07:21:20 PM
There are many  casinos website which are offering 5-10% of earning every months depends on how much you are going to put in the  website. But research in internet and forum and check their positive feedback, well for me this is a good investment website, and don't opt cloud mining because it will turn into scammm soon for sure it will never last long as i had already been a victim of scammers

Casinos are very risky option. Safedice got wiped out last spring with a single user taking 115 BTC, which was the entire bankroll. This means investors lost almost all of their money. This can happen to other bankrolls as well. Always be EXTREMELY careful with your money and DIFFERENTIATE!
1854  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: November 11, 2016, 07:18:30 PM
I d really like to see more mining option besides Zcash and Ether. I ve been using Nicehash for months and these re only 2 coins I have ever been able to mine. Are there any plans for enabling users to mine something else, like multipool?

Damn, that was a big win. I guess he wiped out the entire bankroll. This is why people always need to consider kelly and the amount of bankroll. Also, always differentiate your investments.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 11, 2016, 07:20:00 AM
estanis, something's not right. Maybe something went wrong with the wallets during the upgrade, since you and I withdrew during the upgrade I think. It's been more than a whole day now, nothing showing up in the Block Explorer or my account. This is something on their end, I hope they fix it or refund us.

I hope so...

What I've seen in the poloniex trollbox is we are not the only ones with the problem.

It would be great if someone (from factom) could explain us why it is such a delay...

Nice try nooblets! Now go away with your FUD!

Check by yourself tx id (d0cb52f5d4d4a291ed3424dd864156011028fd065241deda83830edfc2476a9c) at explorer.factom.org

The tx is complete in poloniex:

I hope you don't get answers like yours when you have a serious problem...

I believe the Polo withdrawal issue is resolved, my transactions arrived recently.

Told you, this takes place from time to time but it gets fixed without issues. Polo s generally very trustful. FOR NOW!
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: November 11, 2016, 06:35:07 AM
So where should we invest bitcoin to actually earn some profit and increase the amount of bitcoin we own, is there any legit place?
I mean cloud mining is a scam but there must be something else we can actually do right?

If right now with all ICOs going on you cant find any place to invest your money I really have no ideas what you are doing here. There is almost an ICO a day.  Here https://www.ico-list.com/  Research those and see for your self which project might be sucessfull.

99% of those re BS. Statistical chance of actually making money on these is really, really low. It s like when first altcoin appeared, EVERYONE was creating a new Bitcoin, yet there s only one Bitcoin today. Differentiate your investments into several small streams, this is the only safe and currently working option for a day to day crypto user.
1858  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in btc casinos on: November 11, 2016, 05:57:38 AM
I really like Crypto-Games! I've invested for a couple days and I'm at a 1% profit so far. It's really convenient and the faucet you get there raises as the more you invest in the bankroll. You should check it out!

In casino investments, there is no guaranty that the past performance will repeat same in future so to be the safer side you should consider to diversify your money and keep in few good casinos instead keeping all your money on any single site. If any one single player wins big amount then you will lose lot of money in these investments so it advised to diversify to reduce your losses.

This is correct, with casinos you need to be ready to leave your money there for 6 months or longer. Casino ledger is NOT a cloud mining option, there re no constant daily payouts. Sometime you can win and sometimes you can lose. It all comes down to the fact you get some profit after these 6 months. Definitely NOT a get rich quick scheme.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FACTOM - Introducing Honesty to Record-Keeping on: November 11, 2016, 05:51:55 AM
I also have no doubt FCT will be superior to NEM.

Factom business connections, government connects and their team re much superior to what NEM s got. Outside of Japan, NEM s got nothing.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which gambling sites have 0% house edge? on: November 10, 2016, 07:29:27 PM
0.5% house edge is the lowest I ve seen so far. Has anyone found anything better?
