Denkbar ja, aber Paracosm ist ja was ganz anderes, wenn ich das alles richtig verstanden habe. Paracosm ist eine eigene Plattform mit Anbindung an eine andere Plattform (IOTA). Und Paracosm ist keine Blockchain/Side Tangle. Die Spiele von Paracosm laufen auf Servern und nicht auf der Blockchain/Tangle. Und auf Servern kannst du natürlich ein Schachspiel laufen lassen. Was Paracosm macht, ist, dass sie virtuelle Welten/Spiele erschaffen und den Tangle als distributed data registry benutzen. D.h. die (Historie der) Spielzüge und Token werden im Tangle gespeichert und sind somit für jeden einsehbar und verifizierbar. Mit den Daten aus dem Tangle kann man dann entsprechend im Caer Sidi Portal, einem virtuellen Marktplatz, seine Token und Assets handeln. Für das Caer Sidi Portal wiederum muss man KYC machen, um auf alle Funktionen Zugriff zu haben. Insgesamt ist Paracosm also schon zentralisiert, mit dem Tangle als einer dezentralisierten Daten-Instanz. Xaya ist komplett dezentral und open source, braucht keine Server und wird auch einen dezentralen Marktplatz (ohne KYC natürlich) haben.

Gibt in letzter Zeit immer mehr Stimmen, die die Praktiken von Binance für sehr zweifelhaft halten. Und während CZ/Binance viel für Krypto getan haben, so hat Binance mMn mittlerweile einfach zu viel Macht.

Xaya bzw. CHI ist keine Gamingwährung (kann aber dafür benutzt werden wenn erwünscht). Xaya ist eine Plattform für echte Blockchain Spiele, die einzig und allein auf der Blockchain laufen und CHI ist die zugrundeliegende Währung, um Transaktionen zu bezahlen. Jeder Spieleentwickler kann seine eigene (Krypto-)Währung in sein Spiel integrieren und z.B. Soccer Manager Elite wird auch seine eigene Währung haben.
Man liest immer mal wieder, dass Xaya das "Ethereum of Gaming" ist/wird/werden soll, was natürlich zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt sehr hoch gegriffen ist und vielleicht auch nie so werden wird. Die Möglichkeit besteht allerdings, denn das technische Fundament ist da. Schon die simple Tech-Demo "Schiffe versenken" basierend auf der oben erwähnten game channel Technologie ist auf anderen Blockchains undenkbar (Rechenaufwand).

Went 1-1 with my pre-match bets on 49ers and Panthers yesterday. That 49ers game was so exciting so watch, with both teams firing on all cylinders offensively. Panthers were pure garbage and so was my bet.

Had a parlay at halftime with Tampa ML and Dolphins ML for odds of 8+. Dolphins were in the red zone with 2 minutes left, but they got very conversative with their play calling and weren't able to get another first down and run the clock down to kick the game winning FG with time expiring. Instead they left around 1:40 on the clock for the Jets, which was enough for them to make that game winning FG themselves. That last drive from the Jets was helped by a reviewed defense PI, which gave them a first down instead of 4th&17 and would have most likely won me that parlay. Dolphins had 7 made FG's (out of 8, one was missed) in that game and it was the most FG's ever made in a single game by the Dolphins.

MNF will be interesting to see what Eli can still do. Giants are a hot mess and with DJ under center, I would have probably took my chances with HC on the Eagles. But with the return of Eli anything can happen, so no bet for me.

Man braucht natürlich Internet, um Blockchain-Spiele zu spielen. Aber solange man Internet hat, kann man jederzeit spielen. Die 24/7 Verfügbarkeit bezieht sich eher darauf, dass die Spiele nicht gestoppt werden können. Solange es Nodes gibt (und bei Xaya ist jedes Wallet ein Node) und die Blockchain läuft, laufen auch die Spiele und niemand - auch nicht die Devs - können sie stoppen. Die Spiele laufen also theoretisch unendlich.
Keine Server-Abhängigkeit bedeutet einerseits, dass die Spiele immer up sind, aber der andere Punkt hier ist, dass es für Entwickler sehr viel kostengünstiger ist, ohne große Infrastruktur arbeiten zu können.

Als Hot Coin würde ich Xaya derzeit nicht sehen, eher schon als Kandidaten für den longterm Thread. Solange keines der Zugpferde (Taurion, Soccer Manager Elite) released ist, wird sich am Preis nicht viel tun und es wird sogar eher Richtung Süden gehen. Heute hat auch gleich mal jemand 400k CHI gedumpt und den Preis in ein neues ATL befördert Die Xaya Plattform ist technisch führend und einzigartig im Blockchain Gaming Bereich, aber solange nicht mehr Entwickler ihre Spiele auf die Plattform bringen, wird es schwer.

Das ganze Projekt ist irgendwo immer noch ein wenig im stealth mode, denn man will erst liefern, bevor man hausieren geht. Gute Einstellung, aber für viele Leute im Kryptobereich eher abtörnend

Wehen has had 5 unders in their last 6 with a goal difference of 3-2. The over against Kiel at home was of course some crazy result with 3-6. But Darmstadt is not Kiel. They themselves always play very cautious and are very limited offensively. Wehen has only scored 1 goal on average at home, while Darmstadt doesn't even manage 1 goal on average on away games. If both teams stick with their controlled approach, we can expect a very boring game with few goals.

To make this a real gamble, I would take Fitzpatrick and pray for another crazy game from him. Brady will put up some numbers, but nothing huge I think. Chiefs run defense is terrible and I think Bill will exploit that and run all day on them. As I wrote earlier, the secondary of the Jets is pretty decimated with Poole and Adams out and Maulet being doubtful as of now. Odds suggest that the Dolphins will have to play catch-up, so some more throwing from Fitzpatrick is to be expected, although we might be in for a low scoring affair. The rest is fine I think.

Decided to have two plays this week.

First is the 49ers ML over the Saints at around 2,15. Saints didn't impress me recently. The results are ok, but they are struggling with a thumb-injury plagued Brees. 49ers have the best pass defense by far, so I don't see much happening through the air for the Saints, which has always been their bread and butter with Brees. Saints already struggled mightily against the Panthers and that win at the Falcons on Thanksgiving was kind of weird too. Saints had to settle for a lot of field goals in that one and that might not be enough against these 49ers. It has to be noted, that they had some more days to prepare for this one.
The 49ers otoh did impress me a lot. They were close to winning at the Ravens, who are arguably the best team right now in the NFL. They will have RB Breida available again, which should help a lot against a good Saints run defense. What worries me is that SF is in some kind of letdown spot here. Coming off such a tough loss at the Ravens and then having to play on the road again the week after against a very good home team, could cause some issues. But this is already priced in and the 49ers are the better football team overall for me.

Second bet is the Panthers ML over the Falcons at around 2,70. Hard to find some arguments for this bet, it's mostly some gut feeling. Panthers sacked Rivera and Fewell has taken over as interim coach. I got the feeling that Rivera somehow lost the locker room and the players wanted Rivera gone. They were successful. Now everything is set to zero and it's up to the players to prove themselves again. Afterall they are still alive for a wildcard spot and should try to keep those hopes alive. During that stretch to get rid of Rivera, they had some embarassing losses, which included a 3-29 home loss to the Falcons. So even though there is already some hate in a divisional game anyway, the Panthers will seek some revenge on top and show that the loss at home was just a tank job. I might be totally off with my gut feeling, but the Falcons are no world beaters this season as well. Both teams are a bit unpredictable, so lets see which team shows up for whom.

Boom or Doom ? Ich erwarte Boom AND Doom. Nun kann man mit Voraussagen im Kryptobereich eigentlich nur falsch liegen, aber man befindet sich ja in guter Gesellschaft.

Ich denke 2020 ist der Zeitpunkt, wo sich noch mehr die Spreu vom Weizen trennt. Man konnte dies bereits in 2019 beobachten, aber wie 1miau schon schrieb, werden zunehmends immer mehr Projekte vor den Scherben ihre Tuns stehen. Wohl denen, die ihre ICO-Einnahmen (zumindest teilweise) in FIAT getauscht haben – und damit auch den Markt runtergezogen haben. Die Projekte, die weiterhin liquide sind, können sich natürlich glücklich schätzen und weiter ihre Ideen entwickeln und verwirklichen. Allerdings glaube ich, dass viele den Tod auf Raten sterben werden – der eine früher, der andere später.

Für mich kristallisiert sich immer mehr heraus, dass selbst eigentlich solide Sachen vor großen Herausforderungen stehen. Es sieht so aus, als ob diejenigen, die die Zügel in der Hand halten, eher in Richtung Hyperledger & Co gehen. Das bedeutet nichts Gutes für die unzähligen Kryptoprojekte, wo zusätzlich zu den großen Plattformen, ja mittlerweile nahezu jeder Anwendungsfall abgebildet wird. Auf der einen Seite die großen, mächtigen Firmen und auf der anderen Seite viele Kryptobegeisterte und –enthusiasten. Und in der Mitte die schweigende, uninormierte oder sogar uninteressierte Mehrheit, die sich dem Diktat der Großen beugen wird und einfach nimmt, was kommt.

Wir werden wohl schon in 2020 von Staaten ausgegebene digitale Währungen sehen und man darf gespannt sein, welche Auswirkungen das haben wird. Man kann davon ausgehen, dass es eher kontraproduktiv für die klassischen (Bezahl-)Kryptowährungen ist. Denn die Nachteile, die eine ebensolche digitale Währung hat, interessieren die meisten Menschen nicht. Wenn viele Menschen diese Währungen benutzen und zufrieden damit sind, dann geht enorm viel Spekulationsanteil aus den Preisen der alteingessenen Kryptowährungen verloren – und da steckt sehr viel Spekulation drin. Für steigende Preise braucht es die viel beschworene Massenadaption, aber wenn die Masse eine für sie akzeptable, wenn womöglich auch schlechtere, Alternative vor die Nase gesetzt bekommt, dann wird es schwer.

Aber wo ist der Boom ? Bitcoin wird boomen. Und einige wenige Altcoins. In einem möglichen Bullenmarkt wird natürlich alles schön grün sein, aber es wird einige starke Frontrunner geben und die Mehrheit wird vom Sog ein bisschen mitgezogen, ohne auch nur annähernd so stark zu steigen wie eben die Frontrunner. Ich erwarte also einen Markt, der sich weniger einheitlich bewegt und heterogener wird. 
Dass Bitcoin boomen wird, widerspricht natürlich ein bisschen der Aussage in dem Absatz über die staatlichen digitalen Währungen, wie der aufmerksame Leser vielleicht gemerkt hat. Bitcoin ist aber viel mehr mittlerweile, als nur ein Mittel zum Bezahlen. Ein starker Bitcoin ist für alle gut, den einen wird es aber mehr helfen, als den anderen. Und für diese anderen wird ein Bitcoin Boom auch nur ein Defibrillator sein, der eine lebensverlängernde Maßnahme darstellt, das Unausweichliche aber nicht verhindert.

Big Giants fan here In 2007/2008 they had a wild card spot, but in 2011/2012 they won NFC East with a pathetic 9-7 record. Nevertheless on their two recent SB runs they only had one home game and won 7 games on the road (if you count the SB as road game too), which is quite an accomplishment. Both times they won at Lambeau (2008 with those arctic temperatures), had that dramatic NFC championship game at the 49ers with that muffed punt from the 49ers shortly before end of regular time and then beat the Patriots as huge underdog in both SB's, in 2008 with that miraculous helmet catch from Tyree. They surely weren't the best team looking at the whole season, but they got hot just at the right time and thats all that matters. You can play god-like from September to December, but if you don't show up in January, it means nothing.

I have nothing but respect for what the Patriots were able to do in the last ~15 years and are still doing. Bill & Tom is such a legendary combo. They never had the best players or the most talent, but Belichick is able to get the very best out of every player and Brady just makes everyone around him better.
I think people are just a little bit done with the Patriots being dominant for so long. It's like Hamilton winning the F1 every year, Bayern taking the Championship in german Bundesliga nearly every year or Roger Federer just winning every match (apart from the Finals at Roland Garros to Nadal) in his prime. But it's not like people begrudge the success; they are just bored with seeing the same guy/team winning over and over again.

Hamburg are struggling mightily. Since whiping the floor with Stuttgart some weeks ago, they have not been the same, which is something you can often witness after a huge game/win. They have troubles scoring and Heidenheim is one of the best teams defensively and always plays very organized. Heidenheim won't invest a lot into this game and just sit back and rely on counter attacks. I doubt that this Hamburg team with their poorish form are able to score that easily today. And Heidenheim probably won't score at all. 0-0 or 1-1 for me.

Both to score ist heute bei allen GER-Spielen eine gute Wahl (für die Challenge zumindest). Für vernünftiges Wetten, werde ich wohl mit X2 überall starten und ggf. bei 1-0 fürs Heimteam nochmal nachlayen. Gerade die HSV-Quote ist ein Witz. Zwar 6 Siege in Folge zuhause, aber die haben in letzter Zeit schon ganz schön rumgegurkt und Heidenheim ist eklig zu spielen. Bielefeld zuhause eher durchschnittlich mit 2-4-1 und Karlsruhe ist für einen Aufsteiger extrem gut und immer gefährlich bei Standards. Hertha mit 5 Niederlagen am Stück, irgendwann werden die auch mal wieder mindestens einen Punkt holen und Frankfurt strotzt auch nicht gerade vor Selbstvertrauen. Der Grinsemann wird die Jungs schon heiss machen (was wohl das Einzige ist, was er im Endeffekt kann )
