1841  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to spot a scam ? on: August 02, 2018, 07:32:48 AM
I don't like the idea of playing in newly established gambling sites. I always look for reviews, feed back or any on hand experience story shared by a user of a gambling site. However, I don't read reviews from bloggers that are paid to review because of course they will say good things to the site and everything is sugar coated just to increase traffic and get paid.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes enough is enough on: August 02, 2018, 07:11:59 AM
Drunk + pissed + losing streak + ATM is not a good combination when you are in a casino. The chance of losing a lot of money is very high since you are drunk, your decision making is messed up and that is on top of the losing streak. To control the amount of money you spend in gambling, you just bring only the amount of money you plan to spend. Leave the ATM card at home. If it's possible go to the casino using a cab, much better, there are loan sharks waiting around the casino who accepts cars as collateral for those who wants to win back their money.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is better in poker: bluffing or playing only with good cards? on: August 02, 2018, 06:42:20 AM
I'm not really a heavy poker player but I played poker a long time ago and tried to bluff my way to win some games and this poker game is real life not online. Body language plays a big part in bluffing, there should be no difference when you bluff or you are playing with good cards, that way other players cant read your movement.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Manny wins over Matthysse!! on: August 01, 2018, 04:46:47 PM
Manny looked pretty sharp and explosive, good stamina until the end. This makes the dream fight of Pac vs Loma closer. Of course Pac at 135 will have extra difficulties and Loma is just at his peak... too difficult.. but imagine the clusterfuck in boxing world if he pulls a win, would be a perfect retirement match.
Pac vs Crawford also ideal retirement match if he can end Crawfords undefeated record. Floyd rated him the best p2p currently.

It has to be one of these two. I don't want to see a Horn rematch if it has to be the last Pac fight.
I don't think Pacman vs Lomachengko is going to happen. Lomachenko's terms if fight will happen is no catch weight. We all know that Manny's last fights are mostly on catch weight. That's why for the past few years, he never had a good knock down because the challenger is usually bigger and can fight with his weight class.

Just an update about Lucas Matthysse, after his TKO loss on the 7th round with Manny Pacquiao last July 15 at Kuala Lumpur, the former WBA welterweight champion announced that after 11 years of professional boxing, he is hanging the gloves. Lucas Matthysse has a record of 39 wins (36 KOs) and 5 losses.

1845  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★WORLD CUP PROMO★★★🎁 on: August 01, 2018, 09:34:38 AM
Guessing when it will struck the 28 billionth bet is not that bad but I think you need to have some kind of open window in which you will accept contestants as people will take advantage of the time it is nearing the goal. This promotion will really remove the chances of bots taking advantage of the previous promotions Bitsler have. But another downside is there might not be a winner at all as the possibility of their predictions might be way off compared to the actual time.
Yes, its also a good idea to put a deadline on when they can place their prediction like once bets reached a certain number of bets left to reach another milestone and not the way that they can place their prediction anytime they want and only 1 account can be used. But then again, current promo of Bitsler is still ok just like what posted above.
1846  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we finally see some good movement in price for Bitcoin on: August 01, 2018, 09:23:19 AM
Well, look at the price of Bitcoin today compared to the price of Bitcoin yesterday, change happened when we entered August. Is this because we entered the ghost month that Chinese and other Asian countries observe in the month of August and may last until mid of September. Last year, Alts suffered a lot when ghost month started, it red all over as the Chinese and other Asians who observe this festival and stop making business deals or other business decisions.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation of Bitcoin on: August 01, 2018, 09:11:36 AM
When we start to hear the word "regulation" we cringe, we try to look the other way and say we don't like Bitcoin to be regulated because it beats the purpose of transacting in full anonymity, however, when we hear of someone getting scammed, we want full investigation and wants the authorities to step in to put the culprit behind bars. So what direction do we really want Bitcoin to go?
1848  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why choose LONG-TERM TRADING? on: August 01, 2018, 09:00:09 AM
If you have idle funds that is just stored in a traditional bank and earns a measly 0.8% per annum and charges you fees yearly, I would rather place that money in an investment that is good for long term holding. It may look risky but if you look at the top 10 in Coinmarketcap, most of them have great returns if you check the price history in 1 year period.
1849  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin hit 60,000$ by the end of 2018? on: July 31, 2018, 11:59:43 PM
If there will be a repeat of what happened last year, when the price of Bitcoin climbed from $3,500 to $19,400 the $50,000 speculation is possible, using the same percentage difference $3,500 USD to $19,400 USD. But Going beyond $60,000 USD, thats not only setting a new record for ATH but also setting a new record on how much percentage it increased.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best crypto gambling for UFC MMA? on: July 30, 2018, 11:58:21 PM
I use to place my bet at PlanetofBets and Betcoin.ag for MMA but I switched to Nitrogensports because of some feedback that I read here. Although I never encountered any problem with them (PlanetofBets and Betcoin.ag) yet, but I decided to switched to those with good feedback to be safe. I'll give Bitcoinrush a try one of this days.
1851  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best Cryptocurrency to Invest? on: July 30, 2018, 11:49:05 PM
I'll go for the first 5 in the Coinmarketcap list. The one in the 6th to 10th in the list moves a little bit and sometimes go out of the top 10, so if you want to be safe go for the ones in the top 5. It may move down a little but not go out of the top 10.
BTC
ETH
EOS
BCH
XRP

Risk takers are going for the new ones, hoping for another great project that can duplicate the success of ETH.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do? on: July 28, 2018, 05:54:13 AM
You can undone whats being done but make sure to be a little careful next time you go out and invest. Make your investments after doing research and do it for long term!
I guess what you mean is "you can't undone". Trading is not as easy as saying Buy low and Sell high. What every newbie in trading needs to understand first is how to control your emotions because there are times when we see a coin that is trending up, first reaction is you want to join the fun to earn profits, but what they need to do first is check the reason why it is going up, if its for pump only, I will stay away from that.
1853  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All crptocurrency at a single exchange. on: July 26, 2018, 11:56:44 PM
I know how it feels when you see an opportunity and you don't have enough funds in your wallet at the exchange site to invest that's why you would rather keep your coins in an exchange site to avoid paying fees. But as other already suggested, its not safe to keep your coins in an exchange site and its not even more safe if you keep it in just 1 exchange site.
1854  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pump and dump tactic on: July 26, 2018, 11:13:19 PM
Just visit a pump and dump group in Telegram and you will notice that most of them are promoting 1 coin to pump, it really makes me wonder if those groups are just made by the same person as they cross promote another Telegram group.

When I was new in trading I tried joining this kind of group but I never joined those groups that asks for a fee. They give signals but the signal that they provide is very late, pump started over an hour ago and dumping may happen anytime, you end up holding a coin at a high price. Stay away from those kind of groups. The only one who gets rich there are the owners.
1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: July 26, 2018, 10:54:53 PM
If I have 1 Bitcoin today, I would still continue to work so I can continue to invest in Bitcoins. I don't see the relevance of having 1 Bitcoin and not work anymore. One way or the other, they will find a way earn a living and not just rely on the profits they get on having 1 Bitcoin.
1856  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep all your bounty coins or you convert some to ETH and BTC? on: July 26, 2018, 10:43:51 PM
I am guilty and I admit that I am one of those who joins bounties and airdrops and as soon as the token get listed in an exchange, I sell them right away. Compare the price of a token once listed versus price of token after 3 months. Majority I guess will see the price is when it was listed is higher compared to the price after 3 months. So I convert it to BTC or ETH and invest on another project.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep your coins physically secure? on: July 26, 2018, 10:32:40 PM
We're all aware of the risks of keeping our coins on online wallets and exchange wallets, but many of us still keep our coins on our own devices.

Are we keeping our devices secure? Its instinctual to not leave your fiat money wallet unattended in a public place but what about your bitcoin wallet? Are you leaving leaving the laptop you're writing your novel on the table at Starbucks when you go the bathroom? The laptop with your electrum wallet, your life savings.

Where does the line between paranoia and reasonable physical security meet?
I bought a Ledger wallet from a local re-seller in our country last year, but after reading a news about a Ledger wallet hacked by a 15 year old program developer, I had second thoughts on storing my coins in a Ledger wallet or just keep it in my hardware wallet (core). So I ended up in keeping my coins in a hardware wallet (core).
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling addiction mainly due to loneliness and dissatisfaction? on: July 26, 2018, 10:21:30 PM
Addiction to gambling is not comparable to addiction to illegal drugs. I have seen people who are desperate in buying illegal drugs and will do anything just to buy what they want and this people don't even have money to feed themselves. While in gambling, there might be a small percentage of those addicted to gambling willing to do anything to play but not like those who are addicted in illegal drugs. Illegal drugs ruined a lot of lives and families and once you started taking illegal drugs it will also affect your way of thinking.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NO! Do Not Invest all you have on Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies on: July 26, 2018, 10:05:28 PM
I think it was last December 2017 when news came out that someone from The Netherlands sold everything he has including his family belongings for Bitcoin. If that story is correct and that guy did not just sit there watch history unfold before his eyes and sell last December 16, 2017 when Bitcoin reached it peak at $19,499, he made the right decision but if he bought at dates December 1 to December 8 and he is still hodling till now, he is one of those who prays that Bitcoin will rise again to at least $11,000.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: July 26, 2018, 09:54:09 PM
December 16, 2017 may have been the highest record for Bitcoin to reach at $19,499 USD. However if you think about it, last year July 27, 2017 Bitcoin is being traded at $2,648 USD. If history repeats it self and price jumped 636% just like last year, price of Bitcoin may reach $50,000 USD.
