1841  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Private Method To Make 0.02--0.03 BTC Per Day With NO INVESTMENT (Proof Inside) on: March 17, 2015, 06:12:32 PM
Guys it's not a virus you can scan anywhere virustotal or anywhere.....if u want i can upload my method in .txt file also
and its not related to referral, gambling, investing
It's my own genuine method to earn 0.02 to 0.03 btc per day...i will not promise more then that but 0.02 per day is guaranteed.
if you think 0.1btc is too high cost then please ignore this thread and don't buy my method coz i will not reduce the price...as earning potential is very good from this method ..anyways the less people buy the more safety of my method Wink so 0.10 btc is a fair price and yes i can't provide vouch coz m not giving this method for free..clearly i am selling it...by providing vouch copy i don't want to take the risk of leakage and blockage of method..
Please if u think my method is fake or you don't like this thread or me simply ignore this thread Smiley
Regards

Ok then, do you really believe your method will work?
it works i am using it from 3 weeks but yes you have to work 40 min daily. Smiley

Here is the thing then...

Nobody seems to trust you, so lets do it like this:

You are confident that your method work, so I'll buy it, and vouch for it

BUT I'll pay with the money your method yielded. So give me the method, I'll test it and IF IT WORKS, I'll vouch for it

Does that seems fair? Because i think it is very fair
It's just like asking salesman to give the product then selling it and pay the salesman back..lol..sorry but not interested Smiley

It's more like asking an alchemist who claims he can make gold to make some to prove he can.
There are safe ways to trade like using escrow:
- The buyer sends the BTC to an extremely trusted middle man.
- You send your method to the buyer.
- The buyer verifies it works and then the escrow releases the coins.
- If you say it works and the buyer says it doesn't then the trusted escrow decides.

Whats a good bitcoin wallet for a samsung android phone? want it fast easy and to display $ to btc ratio

This is the most popular by far:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.schildbach.wallet

I'd also recommend Coinomi:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet
(the only HD wallet I've found that allows creating new unused wallets, besides supporting several coins)

Whoops, looks like something went wrong.

1844  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Private Method To Make 0.02--0.03 BTC Per Day With NO INVESTMENT (Proof Inside) on: March 17, 2015, 05:41:36 PM
Just a second, if the earning "potential" is that good, why are you risking selling your "method"?
Isn't it a no brainier to keep it to yourself if you have what you are claiming to have in your possession.

Also without any vouch copies this thread is going no where.
Simple answer is "i am selling to earn more btc as everyome wants to earn more and more.don't they?"
Well it's not a risk if 4-5 people buy my method that's why i have set the cost to 0.1btc and read my previous reply for why i am not providing vouches. Smiley

Nobody will take the risk here. You are a newbie offering a too good to be true method with absolutely no proof (you do realize that screenshot doesn't prove anything, don't you?).
1845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Safest/Smartest Way to buy 50 Bitcoins? on: March 17, 2015, 05:36:20 PM
If you have the cash you can try posting on your local board depending on your country and try to find someone willing to trade. Having that much cash could be dangerous so probably trading in parts would be a better idea.
Also using an exchange would not be too unsafe as long as you don't keep the coins there for long. Just transfer the fiat, buy the coins and withdraw immediately.

P.S.: You don't need 15 confirmations!
1846  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking to create online wallet on: March 17, 2015, 05:29:43 PM
Hello,

I am looking to create an online Bitcoin wallet. I am not a programmer, but anyone who is interested, please PM me. Also, and comments that are helpful would be appreciated it.

It will be a simple online wallet with passphrase or 2 factor authentication.

I can give more details here, but it seems like all of the currents ones are for sure open source, so I would obviously like to do the same with the one I create.

Are you looking to hire someone to do all the work? Or are you offering a partnership? If the later what would be the conditions? What would you provide and what are you looking for from the other person?

I have not received an email from the coin-swap
if it does happen I will withdraw all balance immediately

Thank you for your information Smiley

This was announced more than one week ago:
You should have done this as soon as GAW purchased it but if you missed the memo stop using them now:

1849  Other / Meta / Re: Trust on: March 17, 2015, 04:22:49 PM
I was just saying, that all those folks who have been scammed wont come back.. the web is full of understandable accusations that bitcointalk itself is a scam ring, due to allowing the scammers free reign.. stupid posts are deleted by mods, but scammers are allowed to continue abusing other members?

I'm stopping here, my blood is gonna fill a hot water bottle..

What do you mean scammers? Scammers are people who steal from other people.
It would seem you mean trust abusers (or even scam busters) when you say 'scammers' here "but scammers are allowed to continue abusing other members".
There's a big difference.
1850  Other / Meta / Re: Trust on: March 17, 2015, 04:16:21 PM
It is already happening. Check scam-busters profiles such as Vod.

So what happens when the scam buster is proven to be busted? NOTHING. This is why bitcointalk has a bad reputation worldwide, for allowing this kind of scammer to continue for how many years? By denying scammers access to the site, the reputation just might go back up, no?

That's precisely why trust reviews are left before the scammers scam, after there are strong suspicious that they will: to deny scammers access to bitcointalk and improve its reputation. Well not exactly deny them access but to encourage other people to deal with them using escrow.
1851  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Checking new transactions with only the public address on: March 17, 2015, 04:13:15 PM
Approximately 30+ GB. If you run Bitcoin core, you need full block chain data.

I don't need the full block chain data, only the transactions created after the script started running and even so i don't need to save them on disk, is it possible?

The only way to do this is by querying an external API. You will need t estimate the number of queries you'll be making and make sure there no restrictions to limit you.
You could query several different APIs to reduce the chance of reaching the limit.
1852  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: where do i get my btc ? on: March 17, 2015, 03:20:48 PM
I want to get my btc to play around. I tried btc-flow.com but it closed, then I heard I can get from btc-wolf.com but it does not work also  Sad
What is the most profitable legit faucet I can get btcs quickly Huh

You can't get BTC quickly from a faucet. You need to work, provide some service or sell something, exactly as you earn dollars.
This has been discussed several times here, no need to start a new thread for this.
1853  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Transaction help on: March 17, 2015, 03:13:20 PM
anyone got any ideas? I sent the remaining balance back to one of my other wallets and it's basically made that wallet unspendable as well...nothing ever gets confirmations.

You need to try resending the original unconfirmed transaction.
You can do that by getting the TX: https://blockchain.info/tx/2eb7444227c6cf70a7373f9f9c11c810ed0b0da8648eab71fd33560f8e5fa53f?format=hex

Modify it to add a fee (by reducing an out value), sign it and re-broadcast it. You will need to install bitcoin-qt or other wallet and get familiar with command line.
1854  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: collateral available , Need 40 BTC @20% PA repayable within 10-12 months on: March 17, 2015, 02:56:46 PM
You're not getting my point. A business cannot be easily sold for BTC40+. So that's not valid collateral.
You need a stable alt-coin, gold or something like that.
1855  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: collateral available , Need 40 BTC @20% PA repayable within 10-12 months on: March 17, 2015, 02:39:29 PM
Well , I really dont understand why Mr EcuaMobi is assuming i cannot provide a collateral of more than 40Bitcoins Huh If you are serious investor show some interest than i will share  my business accounts .

You dont  have to be so rude  and negative  here .. .. The above Loan which i am asking is for a urgent project.. Well i am not a fool . I cannot put all my private data here . Only serious investors after careful consideration and  several talks ...

Please use your experience on this site wisely . Discouraging others without any grounds is not good thing to do .

I'm assuming you don't have a valid collateral because you didn't include it in OP. Sorry if that's not true.
Just publish something that can be easily sold for more than BTC40 and you'll get your loan easily Smiley
No need to publish your personal info.

1856  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Checking new transactions with only the public address on: March 17, 2015, 02:37:00 PM

Make the ios app call the domain lets say each minute with the public address and current ios (stored) balance.
With php call abe/insight api to gather that address balance, if its different than the stored balance it means a new tx happened.
If above is true grab the transactions and return the latest transaction and balance back to the client.
Store this info on ios.
First the app is not required to be running all the time
second from what I found on a very fast search insight is an API the same way blockchain.info is, meaning I could get API restrictions

@NicosKaralis so that you know nuno12345 was suggesting you to install your own instance of insight (https://github.com/bitpay/insight-api)
That way you wouldn't have any API restrictions (unless you set them for yourself Tongue).
You could call the API from localhost.

1857  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Coupons 10$ on Ebay for payment from 15$ on: March 17, 2015, 01:52:32 PM
This discount code is true, you can be assured when paying via payivy
you will receive the code instant after completion of payment

If it's true then why not using escrow? It seems fishy.
If you use escrow you'll be able to sell this easily.
1858  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Checking new transactions with only the public address on: March 17, 2015, 01:50:23 PM
1:
If your able to run a full node this can be accomplished very easily.
Setup apache, rpc and either bitcoin-abe or insight(recommended)
Make the ios app call the domain lets say each minute with the public address and current ios (stored) balance.
With php call abe/insight api to gather that address balance, if its different than the stored balance it means a new tx happened.
If above is true grab the transactions and return the latest transaction and balance back to the client.
Store this info on ios.

2:
If you cant run a full node you can use blockchain.info api to do it.
Instead of calling your own block explorer make the client call blockchain.info directly.
This will prevent you getting blocked since the client is calling blockchain, not your domain.

With 2nd option you have to do the "maths" on ios rather than on your domain.

Hope this helps.

Calling any server (own or blockchain) every minute from the mobile is a terrible idea. It would drain the battery and nobody would use the app. Push notifications are the  solution as already suggested by OP.

It can be accomplished either with blocknotify (recommended, less resources used and faster notifications) or with a process that runs every minute or so but running on the server, not the app.

1859  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Checking new transactions with only the public address on: March 17, 2015, 01:15:27 PM
To do it with a server you could install a full node and use the option
-walletnotify=<cmd>
Or -blocknotify=<cmd>
Could you elaborate a little more? like an example? What is the "cmd"? Can I be notified about many addresses at the same time?

cmd is a command to call every time a new block or transaction is found. For example it can call your own script that receives the block or TX ID as parameter and acts accordingly.
It could query the DB to see if that block or transaction affects a registered address and then send the push notification if it does.
