When you see constant spam like this from Ethereum scammers, that's when you always know Eth is about to implode.  BTC going down $5 does not make anyone interested in buying Eth.  Eth is not a hedge for anything.  It's just a scamcoin at the top of a pump.

Some dbag Ethereum pumper took out a 1000 BTC short to try and make BTC look weak while attempting to pump ETH at the same time.  The Ethereum scamcoin pumper is eventually going to have to give up when he realizes he's not getting BTC any lower:



Ethereum scammers had been dumping actual BTCs on Finex before this.  It seems they have now run out and can only short now.

Who will be the next to get dumped on by Vitalik in the Ethereum greater fool pump?

I'm not worried about orchestrated shakeout attempts.  As if people actually exist that want to dump Bitcoin 48 days before halving.  This is what makes your charts useless when you know it's just people painting the tape to try and manipulate other actors in the market.  As long as you don't plan to sell while they're doing it, it doesn't matter what temporary scams they attempt.  They're just trying to manipulate BTC down while pumping Ethereum praying they can find someone to dump those useless Ethereum scamcoins on before the halving causes Eth to implode.

When you see such obvious manipulation attempts like this below, that means it's the time to buy.

Now imagine a giant group of people whose main attraction to pooling their money was to form a decentralized pump and dump, realizing they have to sell at the top or be forced to collectivize and work on a product together with none of the relevant skills and compete against people like Intel.

They don't have to be mega-rich, they took in 30,000 BTC in the IPO.  It only takes doing an orchestrated dump of a few batches of 1000 BTC back to back to temporariily drop the BTC price $5-10.  Just enough to give the fake appearance of BTC weakness and IPO scamcoin strength while they pump the IPO scamcoin at the same time.

While it appears they likely have made backroom deals with Poloniex in order to wash trade to defraud investors, I do not believe that particular dump was a wash trade.  The single entity pump and dumper of Ethereum seemed to add around 5000 BTC to the buy side in the course of his attempted scam to raise then dump on you.  He has now lost around 2500-3000 of that.  I don't think it was his plan to have someone dump that much on him in one sell, which is why nobody ever pumps IPO scamcoins with horrible distribution in the first place like NXT - the dump threat is too high.

If he continued his orchestrated scam pump, he could probably get it to like 0.035 by dumping the rest of his money into it, but then he'd need to instantly dump at peak to get his 5000 btc back and I doubt anyone is stupid enough to put up walls on the buy side for him to dump on you.
