1841  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Proyekto Anastasia: Bitcoiners Laban sa Identify Theft [re: Craig Wright scam] on: March 04, 2020, 05:18:31 AM
Nabasa ko nga ang original thread na ito ni nullius. And the whole point does a makes sense. Craigh Wright claiming to be as Nakamoto means he abide the law for Identity Theft. Hindi na maikakaila na sa kagustuhan niyang maglikom ng atensyon using Nakamoto's name at sa kagustuhan niyang sumikat, maaari niya itong ikapahamak.

Iginigiit din nito na kontrolado niya ang bitcoin. He is just contributing to fuds sa totoo lang. And also, contributing some mess in crypto community. Pinaninindigan niya pa rin ang pagiging si Satoshi nya kahit sa bandang huli ay ito ang maging dahilan ng ikapapahamak niya.
1842  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Own Diligence is recommendable before engange in any Crypto investment on: March 04, 2020, 03:27:21 AM
Research before investing. That's a due diligence before deciding to do some crypto investments. Not all have a proper knowedge that put them unsuccessful at the end.

Putting also your goal is also one of the significant thing in investing. Also, always set a target profit to do some success crypto investments. Believe me, your enemy is your own self and own emotions. Gather all the knowledge and tools on how to secure your investments, how to get safe profits, etc. Remember, it isn't easy so it is your part to be responsible on your own decisions.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Sad News]: Nigerian shot dead after resisting robbers access to crypto phone on: March 04, 2020, 01:45:14 AM
Unfortunately, there are still people like him who even lies and boost there balance even if it wasn't the real amount of money on the crypto wallets. And that put him into danger. So, it wasn't $10,000 but $400.

This can be a lesson learned for everyone here. Do not ever reveal your crypto wallet balances even with your closest friend. This is something private and we can't even tell what's on their mind.
1844  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need 2 casinos recommended on: March 04, 2020, 12:35:05 AM
I can recommend the signature site I am wearing- Bustadice. You can play it on bits plus the deposits and withdrawals are also instant. Never had a problem on this gambling site. But they only had one game. Limbo to be exact.
However, try out also stake if you wanna play more games like mines, video poker, crash, etc. They are also have a sports betting and also have no problems withdrawing and depositing.

The good thing also to the two gambling sites i have mentioned is that they are mobile friendly and doesn't need KYC.
1845  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Crypto Charts Are Garbage on: March 03, 2020, 07:45:57 AM
Anyone sick and tired of articles citing charts? I’ve been in stocks for 10 years and I know how to read them. Bitcoin/crypto isn’t candle based.

Then it is what? I was kinda confused at your statement. Reading Charts really is a useful tool for both forex and crypto trading. Can you cite an explanation why crypto isn't candle based?

While not all articles showing charts are really true, you can still stick to your own technical analysis. There is so called "confirmation and comparison" to your own charts vs their charts. Remember that their chart is their own readings and own basis. Yours is different. But if you are confident enough to your own TA, no need to see other's charts anyway.

1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can porn sites make bitcoin more popular or will it brings negative effects? on: March 03, 2020, 03:02:42 AM
People are open minded nowadays. And if some people that are subscribed to that porn websites doesn't even aware that such bitcoin exists. Isn't more appealing and have a "good impact" if bitcoin is widely known by many regardless of where it has been introduced like porn sites?

We are all positive and it doesn't matter anyway where bitcoin has been advertised or use. What matters most is the adoption we are aiming. I mean, if more people knew about bitcoin and the technology behind, a good result will follow.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Protect your cryptocurrency, only means, protect your account. on: March 03, 2020, 02:09:03 AM
Those mentioned were really important securing our accounts. It is best to always have a 2fa for security purposes, some said it was a hassle to put some 2fa but if it is for the sake of our stored coins why to be bothered by typing some codes?

 Just to add some;

  • Never ever sign up untrusted websites and do not click suspicious links which offers rewards provided by emails, etc.
  • Do not download apps in uncertified and unlicensed sites.

Just to let you know, hackers always think and find a new way to get in touch and entered our phone system. It is best to always think twice or thrice before clicking and fall from their bait because they are using this new technology to mislead and attract more victims. Remember, awareness is always the key to protect our crypto coins.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies from hackers. on: March 03, 2020, 01:07:44 AM
There is always a new way for the hackers to steal crypto coins in our wallets. But it is our responsibility to become aware of those possible hacking things. Remember to download only apps from trusted sites and never ever click suspicious links as they possibly contained malwares like this trojan.

I remembered when my account hacked because I have signed up to the fake cloud mining websites. That was a nightmare for me because hacker tend to get my coins from a particular site I have logged in. Now, it's a lesson learnes for me not to hastily sign up with some untrusted websites.
1850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading vs. Investing. on: March 02, 2020, 07:46:41 AM
When you have a good foundation in trading, you can actually gain profits. I mean, trading isnt that easy and not that just simply, "buying low and selling high" like others are always saying because we should know when to spot a good entry and exit point. We need to know some useful tools as technical analysis, etc for us to be able to say that it is actually a good way to earn.

While investing for me is more safe than trading. We tend to hold and wait for that coin to finally pump. Less panic issues because investing means patiently waiting to hit our target profit even it takes long. Both trading and investing isn't easy. We need determination and goal for us to say that it is really a "profitable" way of earning.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coronacoin on: March 02, 2020, 05:49:14 AM
Hi, I recently discovered that there is a cryptocurrency called 'Corona Coin'. At each death a quantity of the coin will be burned. Anyway, I would like to know if you know of any place that I can buy it via p2p. Thanks

What?? REALLY? I mean, are they being serious about this? And yeah i quickly searched and read this from this website;

Quote
the "CoronaCoin," its supply will diminish every two days based on the rate of new cases, according to its website - suggesting its price could move higher the more people the virus kills.

I will not gonna support and buy this type of coin. Who will be happy if more and more were being killed by that corona virus and that the price will eventually go up? Like wth is wrong with the developers. This is insane.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Personal Opinion: Only a matter of time until Bitcoin will surprise us again on: March 02, 2020, 03:12:44 AM
It's the fear of corona virus infection. Let's face the truth, if someone infected around your country who would not panic? Especially when the infected area was located in your city. But we can always be calm and be prepared for all of this issues. In the connection of bitcoin crash, many said this crash were still connected and has something to do with the NCOV crisis, whatever is true.

Those panic sellers and panic buyers did contribute to this massive drop though. On the other hand, this dip market can be an opportunity to buy more btc. Let's just be calm folks, every issue has a solution.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig Wright Potential Lawsuit to Bitcoin on: March 02, 2020, 01:25:05 AM
Craig should be careful on this statements and actions, it can be used against him later on. Why can't he just moved on with this issue insisting he can control bitcoin and that he is Satoshi Nakamoto. Okay, the guts he build on his self and the confidence is still at him but that jusy making him look so stupid. Everyone knows he is just one of those attention seeker.

If he can't even make one of his statements true, how can people believe his crap?
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency can not replace fiat currency. on: March 02, 2020, 12:08:28 AM
Aside from that of volatile reason you have mentioned. There are a lot flaws why cryptocurrency can not replace "current" fiat money.

Not all can afford high fees with slow transaction process. Although there are still other "altcoins" that offer fast transactions with low fees, but noy everyone will welcome "new" payment systems. Cashless transactions are convenient, yes. And even if cryptocurrency can not replace existing fiat currency, it can still be considered as alternative monetary system.
1855  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 01, 2020, 01:50:08 AM
I do both trading and gambling.
At first I only do trading preferably altcoin trading and margin trading. Then decided to try out gambling and sports betting. When doing some trades, we have a basis like technical analysis. While in gambling, no effective strategies in the long run but purely base on luck itself. However, I am both enjoying them so far.

For now, I am still doing some DYOR about binary options. Haven't try it but I am well interested to do some binary trading in the future.

1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Unfinished Projects on: February 28, 2020, 07:52:48 AM
There are so many reasons why they have to stop their projects.
Funds will be the main reason. Not successfully collect fund raised money to make the project successful.
Impossible product failed in making the project's product or platform to become useful in crypto community where in investors can buy the said project.

And many more reasons. And i do agree that rather than producing new projects that was abandoned at the end by investors, why not invest on old and established projects with potential products and platforms.
1859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities advertise scam ICO again on: February 28, 2020, 05:56:33 AM
That's the sad part from those celebrities that are promoting projects who are not yet well studied. They only focused on their own gains, not thinking their reputation is at risk by promoting scam projects. If they only knew and aware that the project is shady, I do not think they will gonna procceed to promote a certain project that will ruined their image regardless of the high payment.

I do hope they will do some research about the project before doing some promotions. Innocent crypto investors is also at risk if they will gonna patronized what that celebrity is going to promote.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 28, 2020, 03:16:06 AM
Never ever borrow money to gamble whether you are confident enough with your skills, house always win at the end. And it is also hard to be overconfident with your skills. Luck will always be our weapon in gambling. I do hope you will reconsider some options rather than borrow some funds to gamble.

What if your skills did not work out as you have expected?
How can you return your borrowed money?

Those are the questions that you should know it could possibly happen, what is your back up plan after losing? I don't want to be pessimistic but consider those things first.
