and sometimes It is My Wife that motivates me when she is giving me extra funds to risk in gamble as she Knew that sometimes I have this luck and may bring us both Winning  Grin

Lol, assuming what you say is true, your case is exceptional.

Yes, it's usually the other way around.  Cheesy

As they say, behind every successful man is a woman - and in my case, that woman is my better half who I believe brings me luck when gambling. I've tried to convince her to come to the casino with me on numerous occasions, but she tends to be a bit more practical when it comes to spending money. I guess that's just one of the many differences between the sexes - men are typically more willing to take risks, while women tend to be more pragmatic.
1842  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: December 30, 2022, 11:50:25 AM
but Rollbit site works fine on my phone. i bet on Slots and Live casino never failed to bet because for me Rollbit platform is good enough on my phone, never had any problem while betting
It also works fine on my mobile device but have personally not placed any bet from mobile phone and whenever I am in need I switch to desktop site mode from settings and adjust it accordingly but he might be facing some other issues as it loads and run on my device good.
maybe you have to use a cellphone device that is of good quality and a fairly strong internet network. but for me Rollbit is a very friendly gambling platform to play on mobile or on desktop

Yes, having a reliable phone and a strong internet connection can make all the difference when it comes to online gambling on platforms like Rollbit. A top-notch device can handle the demands of fast-paced, graphics-heavy games, leading to a smoother and more enjoyable experience. From my personal experience, I have found that the screen size (resolution) of the device is also a crucial factor to consider. Having a larger, higher-resolution screen can make a big difference in the overall gaming experience. However, it's worth noting that Rollbit is designed to be a user-friendly platform that can be accessed on both mobile and desktop devices.
1843  Other / Meta / Re: Careless copying of forum links redirects you to Binance on: December 30, 2022, 08:46:56 AM
But it ain't dumb if it works. If people could fall for the "deposit to receive 2X crypto back", I won't be surprised to see people signing up under the referral link and maybe even trading there.
I don't think people who mistakenly entered into that redirected page will ever sign up. Especially people who searches for Bitcointalk and ends up here will ever sign up to this referral program.
At Least people who spends fair amount of time will not fall for this, but maybe it is targeted for newbies.

If you visit a referral page, or are redirected to one, there is also a tracking cookie that is usually embedded in your browser. This means that if you eventually create an account with Binance, even if it's months later, the tracking cookie will let Binance know which referral link you used in the past. The person who set up the redirect website will then receive credit for the referral. It's likely that this is the main reason for setting up the redirect website and spreading the tracking cookie with his referral code as widely as possible.

Although this tactic might be a bit shady and deceptive, I agree with others that there is no basis for reporting the website. After all, there's nothing illegal about it as far as I know. It is possible, however, that it violates Binance's affiliate marketing policy.
1844  Other / Meta / Re: Ninjastic.space - BitcoinTalk Post/Address archive + API on: December 29, 2022, 07:00:02 PM
it really worries me to make a post if it doesn't count there because almost the average signature campaign organizer always uses ninjastic as a reference, will the problem be solved

Oh, no need to worry your pretty little head about it. After all, it's not like you're participating in any signature campaigns or anything.  Cheesy
1845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transaction (Identical Addresses) on: December 29, 2022, 06:52:21 PM
If I authorize the command, the transaction will succeed or fail?

Because the addresses for sending and receiving are identical.

Yes. If you authorize a Bitcoin transaction to the same address, the transaction will likely succeed. However, depending on the network conditions, you may need to include a transaction fee in order for your transaction to be processed. If the fee is too low, your transaction may not be prioritized by miners and may take longer to be included in the blockchain.

It's worth mentioning that some Bitcoin owners will occasionally engage in this type of transaction during periods of low network activity in order to consolidate multiple small inputs into a single unspent transaction output (UTXO). This can help to reduce future transaction fees.
1846  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin on: December 29, 2022, 06:36:19 PM
Middle class people do not have that EXTRA money WHICH THEY CAN"T AFFORD TO LOSE.

What is your definition of middle class? According to the generally accepted definition, the middle class refers to the social group between the upper and working classes. This means that many individuals within this group have some financial stability, including the ability to save for retirement and the means to indulge in occasional luxuries like dining out or taking vacations. Yes, it is generally advised to only invest funds that you can afford to lose in any type of investment, including bitcoin, but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't invest. If you have a little bit of cash sitting around, or you have money set aside for the future, it may be worth considering a small investment in bitcoin as part of your portfolio so that you can take advantage of what could be a profitable opportunity in the coming years.

Yes, i invest in bitcoins but it is not EXTRA money and I am afraid I can't afford to lose. Do you have that EXTRA money that you can afford to lose  Huh

There is always a risk that your investment could lose money, so it's important to make sure that you are financially prepared for that possibility. As a rule of thumb, it is best to limit your investment to what you could afford to lose without it affecting your lifestyle or ability to pay bills. Unlike many in the working class, the middle class has the financial resources to make this type of investment.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as Legal tender plan by Fiji's new prime minister on: December 29, 2022, 05:13:56 PM
Indeed. It appears that the article in question may be based on a rumor or false information, rather than accurate reporting. The statement about the Fiji prime minister making bitcoin legal tender does not appear to be supported by any credible sources or evidence. In fact, there is a lot of evidence that suggest this story is false or misleading. The article that appears to be the primary source for this claim does not cite any credible sources for its claims and runs counter to every other piece of information available online about Fiji's stance on cryptocurrency.

It is always important to critically evaluate the sources and veracity of information before relying on it or sharing it with others. This is particularly true for information that appears to be newsworthy, as it may spread quickly and reach a wide audience.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: December 29, 2022, 04:20:53 PM
There's another big benefit of using bitcoin for online payments. When you as a merchant receive the coins and the transaction is confirmed, you can rest easy knowing that the money is all yours. The risk of chargeback fraud is virtually eliminated. With banks and cards, it's a different story. You receive the money, but there is a chance that it could be reversed. This happens when customers claim they didn't authorize the transaction or they report it as fraud. You never really know if the card might be stolen or if the payment could get reversed for some reason. You also have to wait up to three days for these transactions to clear, which can be frustrating if you're expecting immediate payment. It's a risky business for both buyers and sellers. But with bitcoin, you can feel a little more secure in knowing where you stand.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: December 29, 2022, 01:44:39 PM
People gamble for all kinds of reasons. Some people enjoy the excitement and thrill of taking risks and trying to win money, while others simply want to relax or get away from life's problems. It's clear that gambling is an enjoyable hobby for some, but it's also easy to see how gambling can quickly turn into the very thing the gambler was trying to avoid. The bottom line is that there are many reasons for gambling and plenty of different ways to gamble. Just don't lose sight of that obvious point: enjoy it all in moderation!
1850  Other / Meta / Re: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org on: December 28, 2022, 08:41:22 PM
Specific reasons for censoring AI generated posts may vary depending on the specific forum and its rules and policies. For example, someone can argue that such posts are spammy, zero or low value, misleading, etc... Btw, it's important to note that AI-generated content is not universally accepted on the Internet. In fact, sites like Reddit have specific rules in place to prohibit the use of such content.

My point is that that post is no worse than many of the ones we see out there in terms of low value or spammy, and that the fact that it is written by an AI should not be enough to delete it, considering that there is nothing about it in the unofficcial rules and even more thinking that the OP has made it clear that it is written by an AI.

Ah yes, I suppose I'm just a relic of the past. But I still believe that an internet forum should be a place where humans come together to discuss and share their thoughts, not a robot convention where mindless machines spout pre-programmed responses. Real discussions require actual thought and consideration, something that robots just don't have the capacity for.

I don't think we need any specific rules about what constitutes an "Internet forum," because it's one of the most basic definitions of that term:
An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site where people can hold conversations in the form of posted messages.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Fools Gold on: December 28, 2022, 11:33:22 AM
Investing in a project that offers high yields on staking tokens should be done with extreme caution. Many projects have collapsed in the past, leaving investors with significant losses. Regardless of whether you invest in centralized finance (CeFi) or decentralized finance (DeFi) tokens and platforms, it's important to be aware of the risks involved. While these types of projects can offer attractive returns, they can also carry higher risks. There are no guarantees that any project will succeed, even if it seems legitimate and has a promising concept and a solid team.
As with any investment, it's always a good idea to thoroughly research and make sure you understand all the risks involved before making an investment decision.

Welcome to the forum! We're glad to have you here.

I'm sure you're going to have a great time here and learn a lot, so I encourage you to take some time to browse through the existing discussions and get a feel for the community. While we love open and honest discussions, we also want to keep the conversation here meaningful and valuable for everyone. Just make sure to steer clear of those low-quality, garbage posts. We don't want any of that junk cluttering up the place.

This is an example of what I'm talking about:

Quote
Should your wife or husband know your seed phrase?
This is a rhetorical question. As a man that f a high caliber, reputable character in the society supposed know what to do. Charity and liberality is from the heart. So given out you seed phrase or mnemonic key is from the Liberal perspective. If you know that they can keep the key safe and the funds or coins would not be tempered any then you have to. But whereby they are not trustworthy, I will advise you to steer clear from them because at the end they will cripple you to zero wallet. Instead of giving them the seed, teach them how to invest.

But hey, we've all been there! We've all accidentally posted something we regret. Just try to have fun, be respectful, and keep an open mind. Happy posting!
1853  Other / Meta / Re: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org on: December 28, 2022, 09:21:53 AM
Of course it should be allowed, especially since the OP did not hide and made it explicit that the text was written by an IA. I can't imagine on what grounds such posts could be censored here when they are allowed all over the internet.

And I came to comment on that post myself because it shows that the IA has a lot of room for improvement, because it wrote a post about how to make money in gambling that is rubbish. It is clear that it has taken information from here and there, but it ignores the main thing, that you can not make money in gambling unless we are talking about specific games such as sports betting or poker, which the text does not do.

And, how do you see this kind of discussion related to Gambling?
I want to point out that the topic of AI-generated content was created in the gambling section, but you are discussing the quality and accuracy of AI-generated content. That discussion is not related to gambling and might be more suitable for a different forum board.

1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to win gambling? on: December 27, 2022, 11:15:15 PM
@JanEmil, was this post intended as some sort of social experiment? I don't think that this type of artificially generated content should be allowed on the forum.

Like many others I just try some AI tools.

Just wanted to see if the post actually could create some talk.

In that case, I think you have chosen the wrong board for your experiment. Any topic will "create some talk" when it comes to the Gambling board (for obvious reasons).   Cheesy

Some probably also use AI gambling.

Now, that's a topic that I believe is worthy of discussion.
1856  Other / Meta / Re: AI writing messages on Bitcointalk.org on: December 27, 2022, 11:08:25 PM
I have one doubt about whether the post written by AI is something that should be tolerated on the forum, even if the OP admitted that the post was created that way? I am specifically interested in this case -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5432035.0 (archived)

I think it's important to remember that the purpose of a forum is to foster meaningful and respectful discussion among its members. Therefore, there is a line that should be drawn when it comes to content that is not genuine or authentic. Ultimately, it's up to the moderators and policies of the forum to decide if they want to put up with artificial content, but in my opinion, it doesn't belong on a bitcointalk forum. It's like trying to have a conversation with a robot – it's just not the same as talking to a real person.  Cheesy

I think many spammers will not notice this and will continue to write blind comments on "how to win at gambling!" Wink

Actually, I think most spammers will knowingly choose to ignore that notice and continue to spam the forum, despite the fact that the content is being generated by an AI.  Wink

1859  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Plagiarized Whitepaper - THERMOFINANCE.COM on: December 27, 2022, 09:26:11 PM
On top of plagiarized whitepaper and overall look of a worst no effort 2017 type of ICO, they also used stock photos for their team members. I just checked one (so called "Robert Sover" , but since he is fake it is same to assume that they sued stock photos for others as well. Anyway, good catch OP!

Yes, you're right. It's clear that there are serious red flags with this operation, as I also discovered that all members of the team are using fake profiles and stock photos. This is highly suspect and it seems clear to me that this is a scam. And the fact that they went through the trouble of creating all these fake profiles just adds to their credibility. I'm sure this is a totally legitimate and trustworthy operation.  Wink

Great work, OP. The account has been tagged.
1860  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: December 27, 2022, 04:33:33 PM
People who use Google search to find a casino should be aware that some of the results are not valid ones. Now, the number of casinos is big, very big but not all of them are reliable enough for you to deposit money. That is why it is necessary for you to do your homework and find reviews from other players to make sure that the casino is a safe and reliable option for your money. Remember that it is not only your money at stake but also your privacy. Many casinos will ask for personal information from their customers in the process, and you're putting yourself at risk for identity theft.

You can also check out the forums, like this one. There you will find reviews from players who have already used this casino. You can read about their experiences and whether they were positive or negative. A lot of casinos are not honest with their users, so it's very important to do your homework before depositing any money into them. You need to find out if they are legit, and it's not always easy to do that.
