A new year's gift for Liverpudians.

After performing stunningly with the Dutch National Team at the 2022 Qatar World Cup, many clubs want to get Cody Gakpo's signature. Finally Gakpo's enigma was answered. Cody Gakpo is officially in Liverpool uniform for a fee estimated at €42.00m and signed a contract until 2028.

The presence of Gakpo in the Liverpool squad makes Jurgen Klopp now have many options in formulating strategies and Gakpo is expected to be a suitable partner for Mohamed Salah and Darwin Nunez.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 28, 2022, 11:32:53 AM
next, Manchester United will face Bournemouth which is also not a strong team for United to conquer. I like the pattern that Ten Hag has implemented, and if Ten Hag brings any newcomers to this January transfer window especially pure stickers. I am quite optimistic, Manchester United can finish in the top four Premier League until the end of this season.
From the Premier League schedule that has been set, Manchester United's next opponent is Wolverhampton on Sat, December 31 and continued against Bournemouth on Wed, January 04, 2023. It could be that the play schedule changes outside the set date.
I admired Manchester United's overall play when they beat Nottingham at Old Trafford. The performances of Casemiro, Rashford and Luke Shaw were very good. Their cohesiveness was very neat from the first minute until the game was over.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: December 28, 2022, 09:09:58 AM
My general point of view is that a business that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment needs to be implemented. Even I personally really want this step to be implemented but can't yet because the government only allows Bitcoin as a commodity asset.
snip

Hey, I also accept bitcoin (for example), but I don't need to stick that paper on the wall as an advertisement to make people wonder what bitcoin are. Adoption is expected to continue to increase despite governments in most countries still banning it, but in private this is always possible. Come on, the government is only able to control bitcoin users, that means they can't control bitcoin.
Something that can make me say yes. I like the mention of the government by the name of the third party.

Those of us who want to use Bitcoin in business certainly don't need to attach a paper that says "accept Bitcoin as payment" even though the third party has not officially issued regulations or rules regarding the acceptance of Bitcoin as a legal means of payment.

Similar to your sentence that third parties can only control users, but they cannot control Bitcoin.
From here the question arises because as a good citizen does that not include contradicting them?
1844  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: December 27, 2022, 08:42:49 AM
As long as you give the freedom to customers who visit to pay with Bitcoin because according to my guess not all customers who stay at your hotel have Bitcoin. If most customers are from outside your country, then this concept is quite helpful and for me it's good management.

My general point of view is that a business that accepts Bitcoin as a means of payment needs to be implemented. Even I personally really want this step to be implemented but can't yet because the government only allows Bitcoin as a commodity asset.

Finally Liverpool got their first 3 points after international break that playing at Aston Villa home ground Liverpool has successfully control the game since early minutes and it doesn't take long for Liverpool to score first goal from Moh Salah and leading 2-0 in the first half makes Liverpool comfortable to continue their domination until the match ended besides that their 18 years old youngster Stefan Bajčetić has just made his first goal in premier league and  Klopp was so happy with his progress
Liverpool fans smile on Boxing Day after getting all three points at Villa Park against Aston Villa.
Liverpool's easy victory over Aston Villa with a score of 1-3 is expected to continue into the next match in the Premier League. Jurgen Klopp's bold decision to play 18-year-old Stefan Bajcetic is certainly the right decision. Apart from promoting young players to the main squad, it was also an advantage for Klopp because he managed to score a goal.

If we look at Liverpool's overall game last night, the main role is still on Mohamed Salah and Andrew Robertson. Improvement has also been seen in Nunez despite not managing to get his name on the scoreboard. The victory over Aston Villa on boxing day without scoring will be Darwin Nunez's motivation when facing Leicester City in the next match at Anfield.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: December 26, 2022, 07:46:22 AM
Barcelona has suffered a lot since Lionel Messi left the team to PSG, but is like their coach has trained some potential players that are doing well in this season. Looking at their performance in this season show, that they are almost get it right to win this season trophy to prove to people that they have a talented coach who don't know how to give up on some challenges in football careers. Barcelona performance will really shock many people this time around because, they have learned a lot from their past mistake never to allow such mistake to happen again.
Messi's role while still in Barcelona uniform was quite large and while with Barcelona he was known as a great footballer. Barcelona is a great club, a club that can produce great prospective players. At that time, Ronaldinho was released from Camp Nou because Messi's talent was already visible. Now, new talent is also starting to show in Pedri.

Now, Barcelona are no longer here. This season they quit early in the UEFA Champion League. So we think it's completely irrelevant if you're trying to build an opinion to create a discussion. The La Liga or UEFA European League thread is more appropriate for you to address.
1847  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How did you come to know bitcoin? on: December 26, 2022, 06:54:00 AM
Share your stories my friends, because each story is unique and interesting
Through this forum we started reading and finding out about Bitcoin.
It sounded strange at first when some friends mentioned the phrase Bitcoin. They look serious with laptops that make curiosity even greater, it turns out that they are discussing on the forum and writing some things about the project to share with social media accounts.

A few moments after that they ate because one of the projects they participated in paid for the campaign results.
That's where I first signed up for an account and it turned out to be bigger than what I saw. I discovered a much more effective concept of financial transactions here.

To convince people that Bitcoin is not only the best investment but also a viable transaction tool for daily use is not an easy task because not all regions and not all sectors accept Bitcoin as a means of payment.
If in an area where we have a business and accept Bitcoin as payment, then it will be an unusual thing for those who see it.

In my opinion, it is not convincing, but socializing to them what Bitcoin is and how it functions if applied in our business.
Fact that it's not that popular yet, I think bitcoin's barrier is its volatility. It will be difficult to accept a highly volatile asset as a means of payment, no one wants their asset value to drop suddenly. Even though we, longtime bitcoin investors are also not willing to use our bitcoins as a payment method, so it is not easy to convince others. It is honest to say that I would prefer to hold more bitcoins rather than spend even the tiniest amount of them.
That should be what we need to do now, not to convince everyone because if they experience something unexpected then we who convinced them will be blamed.
There are exceptions, namely if a country has implemented official rules regarding the estimation of Bitcoin as legal tender. Likewise with businesses that accept Bitcoin as a means of payment only for long-term savings as a substitute for fiat deposits in banks.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good plan at all? on: December 26, 2022, 05:17:10 AM
It's getting better (crypto gambling) when compared to fiat gambling. Security issues are always a top priority to consider because they are important.
There are gambling sites that can be accessed without having to use a VPN. Instead of worrying about losing capital, it's better to just deposit if you want to play and withdraw everything when you win. It may seem complicated, but for me it's better.

One way Manchester United can get Rabiot is by showing their seriousness to the club that owns Rabiot and to Rabiot himself, not making Rabiot an alternative if they fail to get De Jong from Barcelona. For me it's an attitude that can make every player their target reluctant to anchor to Old Trafford.

Chelsea are rumored to have gotten David Datro Fofana from Molde. Fofana just needs to have a medical in London and the price agreement for the Ivorian player is worth €12m.

In terms of transfers, I am very interested in their strategy. It's very different to the way Manchester United target their targets in the transfer window.

In terms of Adrien Rabiot's point of view, I think you are right, but I'm not sure about Manchester United in terms of his point of view.

Franky de Jong would definitely be my first choice over Adrian Rabiot if I were Manchester United, and I would only buy Rabiot if I failed to buy Franky de Jong.

As for me, I find Manchester United's transfer strategies to be fine so far. However, I doubt Barcelona will be willing to let De Jong go, as he is one of the most talented midfielders in the world.

Duke Khan
We just leave it to them regarding the player transfer process this January. Whether they will prioritize Frenkie de Jong or Adrien Rabiot. For me, Manchester United will have a hard time getting de Jong considering Barcelona no longer have their more senior midfield mainstay like Busquet. Of course, Xavi will keep the Dutch midfielder who performed quite well in Qatar.

Keep in mind Rabiot was basically a deal done this summer.
Juventus sold him to Manchester he accepted to go there, and everything was done but at the last second, something changed.
If Manchester United focus on Adrien Rabiot by agreeing to the fee desired by Juventus, it is possible that Juventus will release Rabiot to Manchester United.
1851  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Die or Pump Up in 2023? on: December 25, 2022, 07:45:40 AM
According to Elon Musk, the price of Bitcoin will increase by the end of winter.  And we should not lose hope.  We have to harden our minds.  And everyone needs to hold on to Bitcoin tightly so that it doesn't get traded away from the market.  Whoever has the amount of BTC deposited, rest assured.  And wait, something good will come inshallah.  Inshallah BTC price will increase by mid 2023.  And I believe in Elon Musk's words, so you should continue to believe.  The price will definitely increase.
https://imgur.com/a/XFaaPeI
Elon Musk can say whatever he wants about his analysis that Bitcoin will experience a price spike at the end of winter. So what about the recognition of Robert Kiyosaki who gave a prediction that Bitcoin investors will get richer in the future.

Both Elon Musk and Robert Kiyosaki have views on the future of Bitcoin, for me we must also have our own views on the future of this king of crypto assets. So far, our belief in Bitcoin may still be consistent compared to Elon Musk, who has changed his views on Bitcoin at times, comparing it to Doge.

1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin isn't a religion. on: December 25, 2022, 06:04:56 AM
Do you really see Bitcoin as a religion?
Religion is about one's belief in a creator. Belief in something certainly has a limit, such as my belief in Bitcoin will certainly not exceed belief in religion.
I read positively into this topic and don't interpret it to mean anything else, but it's better if discussions like this are avoided for fear that they can be skewed with various different interpretations.

In general, Bitcoin is just a cryptocurrency with many advantages. I think that's about it.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: December 24, 2022, 09:18:05 AM
Adrien Rabiot can be used as an alternative if Manchester United fails to sign De Jong from Barcelona. Manchester United must immediately carry out initial negotiations to get certainty from the player, the presence of Adrien Rabiot can provide a bit of balance in the midfield after they succeeded in bringing in Casemiro some time ago. Manchester United must show seriousness if they want Adrien Rabiot in their squad because other elite EPL clubs such as Chelsea and Arsenal are also very interested in using his services.

1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will not become the world currency. on: December 24, 2022, 08:21:56 AM
So I don't think Bitcoin is going to become a fiat currency.
It's not necessary and it's not the main purpose of Bitcoin. There is a huge difference between fiat currency and Bitcoin. The purpose of creating Bitcoin is not to become an official currency from what I understand. Maybe you can find out for yourself what Satoshi Nakamoto's motives and goals were in creating Bitcoin.

If a country wants to make Bitcoin an official currency it's up to them. And vice versa.
The Bitcoin operating system is not centralized. That's what needs to be remembered.
1856  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop the panic, I doubt we will see 14k or less Bitcoin on: December 24, 2022, 07:38:51 AM
You are right. There is nothing to blame for this case because in essence they will look for people like us who continue to be convinced in Bitcoin as the best investment in the future as the world's progress and development.
I think those who have underestimated Bitcoin and have also said they don't like Bitcoin investments will not look for old people they have ridiculed in the past, unless they have no shame in themselves. And even if they still want to invest in Bitcoin and the like, they will definitely ask other people or at least on the Google search engine.
It would be a beautiful story and it's a shame if we want to throw it away. If we look further, they are just a small group that means nothing to those of us who are still and will continue to be together with Bitcoin through a series of beautiful stories.
But I wish if someday those who underestimate and even strongly oppose Bitcoin have a strong desire to walk on the path we are on, they should be pitied too.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 24, 2022, 04:53:31 AM
The EFL Cup competition is not every team's top priority, but this event can be interesting when the top Premier League teams meet. In addition, EFL matches can be a place to test a team's readiness ahead of returning to play in the Premier League.

Manchester City managed to beat Liverpool, this shows the strength of The Citizens is still quite solid and of course it is very important to maintain team morale. If you see the strength shown by Manchester City, I'm sure they will win the Premier League again this season.
The Anfield faithful know and probably still accept their team being knocked out of the EFL or Carabao Cup. Another consideration is that they are a little uncomfortable that the one who beat them was Manchester City who are considered their rivals in recent seasons.

The match was indeed a match to test the team's strength in welcoming back the Premier League. Liverpool's defeat could be an alarm for Liverpool management that Jurgen Klopp needs new players to improve squad depth when the January transfer window opens.
If the composition of the Liverpool squad is still like this, the Anfield public will also see for themselves Liverpool will be eliminated from the Champion League against Real Madrid.
1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: December 23, 2022, 08:33:45 AM
As a Manchester City supporter, of course I'm happy that Manchester City could beat Liverpool in last night's match and with that victory made Manchester City advance to the quarter-finals as well as get rid of Liverpool as the defending champion.
Our elimination last night in the EFL Cup tournament was not a painful one as a Reds supporter. The 3-2 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium gives us the opportunity to concentrate fully on the two bigger competitions which are the Premier League as a whole and the UEFA Champion League. At least we need to prepare to play Aston Villa on the 27th as the first Premier League match after the Qatar 2022 World Cup break.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: December 23, 2022, 08:01:34 AM
They did it and they finished third in the 2022 World Cup. It's not that Italy are incapable, it's just that they need time for the discussion at hand.
From the few matches they played such as the 2022 world cup qualifiers and other friendly matches, their game was quite good with a combination of young and old players. It's just that the problem of luck has not been in favor of Gli Azzurri.

Roberto Mancini must already have the best options for the preparation of the Italian team for the Euro tournament in 2024. The average Italian player included in the squad is still at their golden age. That would certainly be a valuable asset.

Italy is not a team that should rely on luck, but at some point they allowed a situation in which they had to be nervous and this prevented them from converting their advantage. They have a very strong team and Mancini must draw conclusions. The group at Euro 2024 is not difficult for them, I think that England and Italy will be able to reach the playoffs, Ukraine will try to compete with them, but I'm not sure that something will come of it.
That's right. Italy is not a team that relies on luck from the past until now although in football luck is one of the elements that is always attached to a team.
Their success in winning the UEFA EURO 2020 trophy at Webley stadium against England apart from their play based on good statistics, there is also a factor of luck that favors Italy. This is very clear with a score of 1-1 and ends with a penalty shootout.

If we ignore the luck factor and always prioritize the game, they should not fail to participate in the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar acting as EURO champions.
However, we also believe that Mancini will make good use of the opportunity at the 2024 EURO tournament in Germany.

Although am a newbie in the forum but i having a lot since i got here and i think cryptocurrency needs to be adopted by many of the so called government and their egos of controlling citizens funds through fiat system.

Few weeks back my country government decided to pass a bill that set everyone withdrawals limit to 20 thousand naira daily and weekly withdrawal at 100k. This news caused serious agitation through out the country as the limit set for the withdrawal is really inconvenient with citizens. This made think,  all this and more maybe was the reason why bitcoin was created to liberate we all from such Fiat control financial system.
The government has its own views in carrying out every decision that will and is being carried out with the same goal of progress. There are countries that don't want to adopt Bitcoin for one reason or another. There are countries that have and are implementing this such as El Salvador.
We are not able to convince countries that they are willing to adopt Bitcoin. One of the most possible things for us to do is to provide socialization to people about Bitcoin with a note not to be recommended.

Please follow the discussion of two topics related to this on the link that has been listed by solosanz so that it is aligned with what you want as you wrote in.this topic.
