This is the terrible performance of the Sri Lanka Cricket teams. Only three batters were able to score double-figure runs. Sri Lankan Captain Dasun Shanaka scored a golden duck, while Kushal Medis scored zero runs. Henry Shipley from the New Zealand side took five wickets in seven overs only. Daryl Mitchell and Blair Tickner both took two wickets each. Overall an excellent performance from New Zealand bowlers.

Actually, Sri Lanka played well while they were bowling. It was a good performance from them to get the New Zealand batting team all out before the 50 overs. But after that when they came into chasing, they had an absolutely horrible time. Now I'm just going to say the best score by a Sri Lankan player in this match, it is 18. And there are four extra runs in the 76 that Sri Lanka was able to score. Now Sri Lanka will have to win the next one.
1842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you feel bad while paying with BTC? on: March 25, 2023, 07:57:48 AM
For those who consider bitcoin as an investment, spending bitcoin is uncomfortable and wasteful because they believe the value of bitcoin will be huge in the future. But there are also people who only see bitcoin as a currency, a means of payment, spending bitcoin with them is normal because it will contribute to promoting bitcoin to become more popular. Bitcoin is very versatile, so it depends on the purpose of each person we use it. I also rarely use bitcoin to pay, but using it in cases of need is not a problem because I can buy it back later.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Taught Me To Dare to Dream on: March 25, 2023, 07:47:11 AM

Then I switched to the world of HYIP and BO. The results were extraordinary, but that's where I felt the extraordinary and endless ups and downs, Just being rich for a while, being scammed.
If you know HYIP and BO are full of scam, you should never join it. Anyway what is BO?

For relatively early market participants, most people will not be interested in bitcoin but instead invest in forms of investment like HYIP or Ponzi as it offers high and instant returns. And they were trendy at the time, I believe anyone who knew about bitcoin has invested in it a few times. As a newbie, I used to get into these types of investments, and I made a lot of profits initially, but because of ignorance and greed, I could not keep anything.
In my opinion, BO is a form of gambling, not an investment, BO is an acronym for Binary Option, aka Binary Options Trading.

Life is hard and cruel, get use to it. As soon as you get relax, it will instantly penetrate you. So squeeze your ass, teeth and fight for a place under the sun.

Instead of crying here on the forum, find yourself a second job.

A bit harsh, but I agree with what you said, whining does not solve the problem, and no one is generous enough to be willing to help you. Everything is changing very fast and becoming cruel, we need to accept the truth and find a way to face it, that's the only thing we should do right now. Our lives are ours to decide, if you don't save yourself, no one will save you. I believe that with the development of technology today, we have a lot of opportunities to make money, and as long as we try, we will always find a way.

Let's just give OP some ways to express his feelings, after all, we all are free here to express what we're feeling and also our opinion. Might be hard for the OP's situation especially that he have his family to feed every single day but he got to find ways to earn a living because it's not just him who is suffering, his family too. He should learn to thrive much harder because this harsh world will always push us to the edge and we have to fight its challenge every single day just to survive.

I'm not saying I'm better than anyone, but I'm also married with two young children. I once fell into unemployment, at one point, I could not afford to buy milk for my children and could not pay the bank interest. I also have relatives and friends, but no one helps me because they have to care for their families. The way I got through that period was to leave my hometown to work far away and send money back to my hometown. After 2 years away from my children, I was able to pay off my debt and earn some money to run my own business. Such is life, it is incredibly harsh. But in life, we need to accept, trade off for a better future, and don't expect others to help us. As men, as the breadwinner of the family, we should not shed tears, that only makes us weaker and more stuck.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 25, 2023, 01:14:32 AM
In Serie A this season Juventus can still develop better, but I think Juventus will feel very overwhelmed in getting a better position in the standings because Juventus are left with more points than the teams in the top four of the Serie A standings this season so the opportunity for Juventus to move from seventh to top four is starting to be very difficult now, unless Juventus are only trying to rank in the top five for the rest of the season.
I don't think they are chasing this season rewards any longer and they should be focused on winning Europa league and bring a trophy back to town because overall , Juve's season had so many difficulties to face and with them , still fighting for games and points proves that the spirit of a giant club is still there. Regarding UCL spots...it will be difficult so they should be happy if they catch Europa league spot because frankly I don't see Lazio , Inter or Ac.Milan moving from outside top 4.
I won't blame Juv if they can't go with a tittle this season. The point deduction have so much affected them. Juventus is the real King of Italy series a but I don't think they would have been an hindrance to Napoli with the current level of dominance I'm seeing in the serie a standing.
I would have said it's a done deal for them in the Europa league if at all Manchester United has been eliminated yet no, it is a thing for them to hope on. But the probability is really small.

I know and everyone knows Juventus has proved themselves this season. They have nothing else to prove to anyone in my opinion. Of course, it would have been really unbelievable if they somehow were able to win the league title even after they got robbed of 15 points. Now they are in the 7th position. After cutting 15 points, they were in the 10th position. It has been a steady climb. But it would be interesting to see them in the top 4/5 position. Of course, it is going to be hard. Especially since they are also interested in the Europa League as well.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 24, 2023, 06:00:53 PM
I really appreciate Juventus' amazing climb despite the reduction of 15 points in the league. They have caught up with Atalanta a lot and the gap between is only 4 points now.

However there isn't still an easy job to do for Juventus now. Because the time is running out and their chance of qualifying for a tournament is dropping down quickly. They need to continue having a winning streak otherwise they had better forget about that goal. But their win over Inter in Giuseppe Meazza was really impressive and I think this is a sign that they will fight with all they have during the rest of the season. They are going for the Europa League title on one hand also. I think they shouldn't care less about the Europa League because it can be their only ticket to the Champions League.

Yes, I think Juventus has proved that they are good enough to make it to the top 7 or 6 even if they do not have things going on their side. If a team has been deprived of 15 points that they have earned and they are still in the drop 6, I think we can agree that they are performing far above average. They should actually concentrate on the Europa League more because that is a better chance for them to play in the Champions League, not the Italian league standing.

The Zimbabwean party will be able to grow stronger with government support and funding. Zimbabwe has a number of talented players in its squad. But the Zimbabwean board is not able to find the right talented players. Government support is required for this. The people of Zimbabwe are very interested in cricket. Still, the Zimbabwean squad is weak. With proper facilities and support from the government, this group will be able to become stronger in the future. Right now the Zimbabwean team is completely dependent on Sikandar Raza's performance.
Government support and funding can certainly help improve infrastructure and facilities for cricket in a country. This can help identify and nurture talented players provide them with better training and development opportunities and build a strong national team. It is also important for the Cricket Board in Zimbabwe to work towards creating a more sustainable and equitable structure for the development of the game in the country. This can include investing in grassroots programs creating pathways for young players to progress through the ranks and building stronger partnerships with local communities. The success of the Zimbabwean cricket team will depend on a number of factors including the ability and dedication of its players the support and investment from the government and cricket board and the overall infrastructure and culture of the game in the country.

Zimbabwe is certainly not as strong as it was before. So a lot of investors are also not showing interest in Zimbabwe cricket. Especially when the investors say that the squad is not having a reliable helping hand from the government, they are generally going to think that this is not a good place to invest. We can often see that a lot of players in Zimbabwe, even some of the popular players of the squad, do not have any sponsor logo on their bat. That's because they have not been able to present themselves as well as some other teams have been able to, like Afghanistan. Afghanistan is not a very good cricketing power, or at least not very big. But they have certainly made their presence felt. I think if Zimbabwe concentrates on the t20 format, they will probably be able to achieve that as well.

1849  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 24, 2023, 08:51:41 AM
War isn't something good. No one benefit during or after war no matter the cause of the war. Imagine the resources and infrastructures destroy during the Russia and Ukrinre war recently.

That is not good for us peace-loving citizens, but for politicians, it is necessary to consolidate power as well as show strength. In war, the winner will be the beneficiary, they will have all they want if they win.

In war, the main beneficiaries are the arms sellers, and after the war ends, every country needs capital to rebuild the country, and the lenders benefit.
The wars in Ukraine and Russia are hurting the people of both countries and affecting everyone in the world, but there are always beneficiaries in it, and that's why they don't want it to end early.
1850  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not sleep on DEx Exchange tokens on: March 24, 2023, 08:39:17 AM
Guys do not sleep on new decentralized exchanges out there, they are growing very fast and their TVL is eye-catching, I think Dex tokens will make good profits in the next bull market, here are my favorite dex tokens.

1. GMX  2. GNS  3. VeloDrome  4. ZigZag  5. Perp protocol

Waiting to here from you guys which dex token is the best on your radar as we speak.

After all, they are all altcoins, and there is always a risk when investing in altcoins. Don't be fooled easily, they are taking advantage of the crash of FTX, and many decentralized exchanges are hyping things up, and if you are not alert, you will most likely become liquid for sharks. All altcoins are equally risky, I do not own any of the tokens you mentioned and do not intend to invest in these. Investing in altcoins, we should only focus on ETH, and layer1 projects will be more sustainable than these junk projects.
1851  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dream of buying a bike with Bitcoin came true thanks to Bitcoin and my parents on: March 23, 2023, 08:47:12 AM
First of all I would like to thank my parents because it is only because of their unwavering efforts that I have succeeded in fulfilling my dream today.

I think God was with me because at the time I invested, Bitcoin was worth $16K. But after investing I was always very worried and always monitored the market.  I used to feel very bad when the market went down but still I never lost patience. I persevered and yesterday when I saw that the amount of profit made now if I sell my investments I can buy a bike.

Sometimes Investing in Bitcoin can be stressful because the market is unpredictable. Even though you may feel bad when the market goes down, it's important to stay calm and not lose your temper. If you are able to handle the ups and downs of the market it can be very rewarding.

At least you have tasted and you have benefited from your investment in Bitcoin, Keep in mind that it's important to prioritize safety, both in terms of your investment strategy and  Congratulations riding your new bike.

As a financial investment, nothing is predictable, I mean not only with bitcoin but you invest in gold, stocks are also unpredictable. If you're a newbie who hasn't experienced bear seasons before, I don't blame you. But if you've been through the bear season and you panic when bear season hits, I don't think you will succeed in this market. For a bitcoin investor, the bear market is a joy, not a time for panic selling. To make a profit, you need to buy low and sell high and a bear market is the right time to buy. Investing in bitcoin is not stressful if you hold it for a long time and invest with money that can be lost.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of your friends and relatives deals with bitcoin? on: March 23, 2023, 08:35:57 AM
... When talking about physical friends, I'm not really into bitcoin, but for online friends, I have a lot of them who deal in bitcoin, and the truth is that they are the ones who taught me this. We live in a province, so I am not shocked that people are not into crypto.

Maybe I'm like you in this, I hardly have any friends around my neighbourhood who know about bitcoin but for online friends, I also have many friends from other countries and we have been in touch for many years.
Recently, I was teaching my brother about bitcoin, he rejected bitcoin 5 years ago when I invested in bitcoin but was not successful yet. Now that I have had some small successes and he is just starting to believe what I say, he started a little late for me but there are still a lot of opportunities for him.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many crypto wallets do you own? on: March 23, 2023, 08:19:48 AM
it's a good idea  creating different wallets for your assets not putting all your eggs in one basket

Cold wallets, or hardware wallets, give more security than online wallets; they have additional security that doesn't just make it easy to hack, so if you can set up a cold wallet, you don't really need to have multiple online wallets.

I do really prefer hardware wallets, but it is expensive and not that affordable. That is why others are sticking to online wallets, and to prevent getting hacked, they will be creating multiple wallets that they spread across their bitcoin. If you already hold a huge chunk of bitcoin, it is better to use hardware wallets to be more safe, and you can carry it everywhere you want or store it in a safe.

A hardware wallet is not expensive, it has many versions for you to choose from, if you don't want to spend too much money on a hardware wallet then choose a cheaper wallet. A month ago, my friend bought a trezor hardware wallet for only $80 including shipping. I find that to be a very cheap price for all of us, it makes perfect sense to take $80 in exchange for our safety. As long as you save a little, stop drinking coffee, or stop drinking for a month, I think you have enough money to buy a hardware wallet.
1854  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin and its potential to transform the global economy on: March 22, 2023, 09:05:49 AM

Favorable Government regulation is the single most important matter which can help bitcoin to fully realize it's potential. If that's not available, nothing else will be able to push bitcoin to take an important stage in global economy.
Bitcoin does not need to solve global economy issues. Bitcoin has been pretty okay this past decade or so without government regulation and would keep growing without it.

When it comes to regulation, I also don't really like it because it will limit the growth of bitcoin as well as regulation will control us more. That only benefits the government, not bitcoin or us, but we are still living under government control, and regulation is inevitable. Indeed, I'm fine with bitcoin as well, no more regulation or modification is needed for bitcoin to be such a great thing for the government. The task of saving the world economy is not bitcoin's but the government's because they are the biggest beneficiaries.
1855  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 08:46:45 AM

I think 10 BTC and 100 ETH would set you up for good, so once that is reached, I would stop accumulating, what is your plan?

You must be a very rich person, and your goals are too high if you ask me. I guess these days, owning 1 BTC is extremely difficult for many people, let alone 10BTC and 100ETH. The goal of accumulating assets for retirement will depend on each country and each person's life needs, with your goal, for example, I never dared to think about it because it is a huge amount of money. In my country, if I get that fortune, I won't need to work from now on and can live the rest of my life without many worries. That's too much money to retire.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 21, 2023, 07:51:50 PM
If a list of top ten strikers in the world is published right now, I am not sure that Lukaku's name will make the list. If Mbappe and Haalaand are impossible to get, they should really consider Harry kane more than any other option. Harry kane has one advantage over Osimhen which is injury proneness. Osimhen is very prone to injuries and can go games without playing because of injury. If he gets injured for Real Madrid in an important competition that they need him, it can get really bad for Real Madrid.
While there is many talk about Osimhen and the club going to sign him, I still await the club that will show interest in getting the other star player in Napoli Khvicha Kvaratskhelia who has also had a great season.

Considering the fact that Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is an attacking midfielder, he is performing really well and actually performing better compared to the expectation of a lot of people. I think he is just getting a little bit overshadowed by Osimhen. Otherwise, a lot of clubs should have already been interested in him and also should have been ready to pay a good price.

Victor Osimhen, Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and surely Kylian Mbappe are real Madrid's summer targets the most likely to join them is Victor Osimhen or Kylian Mbappe.
Victor Osimhen has risen from playing football in the streets of Lagos Nigeria to be one Europe's hottest properties though he has publicly disclosed his dream of playing in the premier league but I don't see him rejecting an offer to play in the most successful club in the world.
Kylian Mbappe on his own has once won the world cup and so many occasions has he lifted the French league but one big trophy that has eluded him as big player is the UEFA Champions League and he knows that with Real Madrid that dream is achievable

Just imagine mbappe goes to Real Madrid and suddenly Real Madrid starts performing bad in the Champions League! That would be funny.
Anyway, I believe mbappe should be the main target of Real Madrid right now. Real Madrid can go for Harry Kane. But that is not going to be an optimal decision.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 21, 2023, 07:20:44 PM
The way Zimbabwe started their innings I thought Zimbabwe could score 200 runs. But they batted well enough. 249 runs were collected by the players of Zimbabwe. Even then they did not win. Zimbabwe would have won this match if the bowlers of Zimbabwe bowled in a controlled manner. Teja Nidamanuru batted brilliantly today. He scored 110 runs off just 96 balls. And because of his extraordinary innings, the Netherlands team was able to win.
Zimbabwe played well towards the end otherwise such a big score would not have been possible in their favor. But whatever their collection was, if they could have kept the Dutch batsmen under pressure from the start, it would have been difficult for them to make this run. Although they were taken 7 wickets. But I think Zimbabwe will definitely do well in the next matches. Because the top players could not perform well in today's match.

The Netherlands were simply able to win the game because of the last two partnerships that they formed. Otherwise, the Netherlands would have been doomed. As far as the century from Teja is concerned, it was a great one. And of course, the innings from Van Meekran were the nail in the coffin for Zimbabwe. I think after Zimbabwe got six wickets, they actually took it easy. As a result, they certainly underestimated their opponent. This is the reason why they lost this match.

1858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 20, 2023, 08:27:19 PM
I honestly do not think this is going to happen. The only reason it might happen is if Real Madrid gets a very good deal. Or the coach is still ambitious about Lukaku?
I just see this as a fun experiment.
Otherwise, this is not something Real Madrid is going to count on to have a great return. I think Real Madrid should not go towards this. Real Madrid should be thinking about bringing in Mbappe or Haaland. Maybe they should be even thinking about Harry Kane. But certainly not Lukaku. No point in experimenting with a failed experiment.
Lukaku might be going through some fitness challenge currently but it doesn't dispute the fact that he is a good striker. Mbappe and  Haaland a better strikers but they will be very expensive and Real Madrid might not be willing to splash such amount on them. Tottenham Hotspur revealed that they will be willing to let Harry Kane leave the club if any club offers £100m. These players are very expensive. And Real Madrid is not seeking for a replacement for Karim Benzema but a backup. Benzema is still Real's number one striker and these top class strikers might not be willing to serve as a substitute to the world best player. But Lukaku will be very willing to play as a backup striker and he will be cheap to attract.

As long as Real Madrid does not wish to spend too much money on Haaland or Mbappe, then they can always choose to go for Harry Kane or Osimhen instead. In terms of the cost of these four players, Harry Kane is going to be the least expensive. Harry Kane is going to be the best value for money when it comes to this purchase.

However, if they are looking to invest in the future, I would say that mbappe or Haaland are the most appropriate options for them to consider. There is no way I can understand how Lukaku is even a part of the discussion at the moment. Unless they have a specific plan, I don't think they should get him.

1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 20, 2023, 08:00:21 PM
First of all, I think Napoli was very lucky to keep a clean sheet in this match. And secondly, if Osimhen scored his second goal earlier than the penalty, I am sure he would have been given the chance to get his hat trick. I believe he has scored 21 so far this season.
At this point, I don't think anyone is going to be able to even challenge Napoli for the title. They are already 21 points ahead of the second team. They are surely not going to lose the title to anyone from this point.
Napoli's luck cannot be separated from their performance and consistency in playing, but also what is most important is the strategy and tactics that Spalletti successfully implemented. Lazio have kept Napoli's clean sheet stalled since Inter Milan also beat them, although the loss has had no impact on the competition in Serie A for Napoli.
Napoli's current number of points is impossible to catch up with its challengers, so it can be said that Napoli secured the Scudetto this season faster and the points won by Napoli are also the highest record since the previous several seasons.

As a matter of fact, it is quite likely that Napoli will be the winners of the scudetto. In my opinion, it is only a matter of time before overtaking Napoli in this season becomes impossible mathematically. This season has been a lucky season for Napoli and it is true that the team has been fortunate. However, they have also been able to perform well in this regard as well. As a result, I believe it is okay for them to actually get a little bit of luck with that type of performance. It is said that fortune favors the brave after all. Throughout this season, Napoli has certainly displayed a great deal of courage.

DC, MI and UPW have qualified for the playoffs stage while RCB and GG got knocked out. MI and DC have pretty much dominated the first season of the WPL which is why I am expecting a tense final between them.

Am not expecting any surprises from UPW and I still think that DC will win the first season primarily thanks to Lanning.

The decision between MI and DC is a bit of a toss up for me personally. Honestly, I think they are both really good performers. Both of them also have the potential to win. However, when it comes to raw performance, my opinion is that DC is the better team in my opinion. My expectation for the final of the women's IPL is not actually that there will be a little bit of drama in it. Ultimately, it's all about TRP, the number of viewers and the popularity of the show. No, I am not saying that it is going to be fixed in the near future. However, we can expect some drama in a final as well.
