1841  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 11, 2022, 04:12:02 PM
As a gambler myself, I sometimes get confused about the difference between cashback and Rakeback. According to what I know and understand, you get cashback when you bet on games that a gambling platform has. Of course, if you don't play there is no cashback and Rakeback.

But anyway, what exactly is the difference between cashback and Rakeback, we're just here and we can talk about it on the topic OP made so that I can also know clearly, thanks to those who will answer.

Cashback is cash you get back for the money you lost playing... of course, when you win you don't have "cashback"! Smiley Rakeback is cash you get for total wagering, at Betfury: Rakeback = Wagers x 1% x Rank coefficient...
I guess I need to mention that cashback and rakeback depend on your rank, a higher rank means more %. I choose Betfury because there's a display on their main page in the upper right corner:

You can also get more info there about cashback here, for rakeback you need to open "rakeback" window and than go to "more details"!

Now most casinos have both, Betfury made it easy by having both on the main page and it's easy to navigate, you simply see them right there and we just need to click them, in other casinos you need to open a profile page, and look for them... or if it's easier for you ask some mod in the chat, he will tell you where to find what you need.
1842  Economy / Gambling / Re: which casino has a lot of action on their Plinko game? on: October 11, 2022, 08:35:06 AM
At 500 Casino, we have plinko battles so you could go against other players rather than watching the balls drop alone Grin

Very interesting. Considering that many casino games only provide plinko games to see for yourself, while on this site we can see many players. Really useful information for anyone, both users and innovations for other casinos.

I agree it's interesting to see this kind of Plinko, looks exciting, I don't remember I played multiplayer Plinko before! Definitely worth trying... especially that "Plinko battle"
1843  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 11, 2022, 07:08:36 AM
Sorry to hear that. You will have to go to a site such as Ask Gamblers for help. Going the legal route won't get you anywhere other than wasting money on a lawyer. No one has ever won a court case against a book in Curacao or Costa Rica. Most of the books in Curacao and Costa Rica are honest since they don't want to hurt their reputation. All my play goes through books in CR and Curacao. Unfortunately there are dishonest ones too. There are a couple of review sites that help gamblers. That's your only discourse.

I think there's no help for him, check his trust rating... and spamming around the forum and other review sites is in vain:

...
This situation was made even worse by OP trying to pass a variety of suspected fake identification documents as his own, all of which were rejected by our integrity team. This resulted in a block of your account. You sent us 4 different ID's all of them with different names, different numbers, and even different nationalities and places of birth.

It's something very fishy here...

I don't like KYC, I don't remember the last time I had to do it... I play in several casinos for years and they never asked for KYC, but I am a fair player! In case I win some crazy high jackpot and I need to do KYC I will do it, it's not a big deal, but I will always pass it if I can.

Most likely I will make an announcement tomorrow, since I have been in a bomb shelter for many hours (only with mobile Internet). Since the morning, Russia has not stopped missile attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine (more than 100 missile strikes). Sorry for the long wait and the inconvenience caused.

Sorry to hear that Ico, I hope you will be fine! I have been in a similar situation... bad times, I guess it's the reason why I really hate wars.
1845  Economy / Gambling / Re: Regulations & Gambling projects on: October 10, 2022, 09:13:59 AM
When regulation takes a hit on crypto prob in few years from now what will happen to gambling projects like Roobet and others? I've discovered one gambling project claiming to be regulated but there is nothing to prove that, anyway, can regulation affects gambling projects in future that's all I seek.

There's no one government that will be able to regulate gambling to the extent you mean in a Op. It would have been possible if there is just one central government in the whole world. But that is not the reality.
If you check well, some countries don't support gambling and that does not stop people from that region from gambling with hidden identity and hidden IP. So regulations is country by country, if one country doesn't favour, gambling companies will go to another company.

In some countries, the laws and rules are strict, while some are more relaxed when it comes to gambling and other things! Roobet is a good example, they have mandatory KYC and they have a license under the Government of Curacao, still people from the US, Australia, UK are restricted from playing there, at least legally...

Quote
Can I use VPN on Roobet? Yes. When set to the right country, a VPN will help you unblock Roobet. You'll be able to deposit with your cryptocurrency, play games like blackjack and roulette, and withdraw your funds.

Well, I am sure that in the future the government will deal more with the crypto world and crypto casinos, which means they will try to regulate and impose some rules for services and people who use them, of course, everything will be taxed! Perhaps we will be left with a casino that will follow the spirit of the crypto world, anonymously, quickly, and safely.
1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 09, 2022, 07:07:17 PM
Well, we can't compete with the Jordan family in the end! What is $5M for older Jordan? A few days on some yacht? Or $50k for his son? I guess nothing... people just have fun with what they can afford to lose!
1847  Economy / Economics / Re: Take shelter, a storm is coming in October. on: October 09, 2022, 06:05:57 AM
China and Taiwan are probably the issues we need to worry about, I predict a war is definitely inevitable.
The problem is that this new China-US proxy war through Taiwan has a high chance of getting others involved. Namely Japan and South Korea and possibly even Australia. NK launching a missile over Japan could  also be a part of that existing tension and to send a "message" of possibility of a much bigger war.

And they did it again...

North Korea fires more ballistic missiles after US military drills

This tension has been maintained for years. China is conducting military exercises around Taiwan, and Pyongyang is shooting in all directions. But I don't believe that any side wants this tense situation to turn into a total conflict because it is not in anyone's interest. As it seems, all of them have much more to lose than to gain in the event of a major conflict.

Well, I agree that chances for escalation are high, and if something happens it will involve the entire world, not just Japan, S. Korea, and Australia. Just what we need on top of this war in Europe!

1848  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 08, 2022, 04:21:21 PM
I would rather never spend crypto. Its just a huge disappointment to see your coins going down. Instead, why not hedge your coins against fiat and make more coins by trading? Never sell at a loss, never forget to buy at a bargain. Although depending on your individual trading strategy, you might find hodling to be the better of the two options. Either way, coins to me are more valuable then most unnecessary things. The only except is living costs and thats it, really. Apart from those spendings, there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever to throw away coin. Shocked

I guess all of us feel that way, nobody like to spend crypto, but people get into some crazy life situations, and simply selling some crypto can be a life safer, of course, if you have what to sell! So it's not about whether are we ready to spend crypto when the market is down, I believe if we get in some situation without many options we will make a decision and we will do what we have to do, simply as that! I know some people have that deeper emotional connection with crypto, nothing extraordinary, people get emotionally connected with all sorts of things around them, but when things get hot it's just an asset that can help you, it would be foolish not to use it.
1849  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The sole difference is capital. on: October 08, 2022, 02:50:37 PM

It boils down to say the difference is just capital.

Isn't that just normal? Why would someone expect a huge gain when their capital is only small. Trading is not gambling where your 100$ could turn into a million if you're lucky. Let's not be jealous to others who are making huge gains in trading crypto because their financial capability is not the same as ours. We should just focus on how to be a profitable trader. If you are able to become one, your small capital can become huge after a year or so.

People who expect huge gains with little capital are into something very risky, it's real gambling when someone is going for x1000 and higher payouts. Getting rich quickly is something that many people want, but most of the time these tries end up badly!

Capital is important, but whether it's big or small you need to know what to do with it, you need to trade with what you have in the best way! We all know that making 5-10% with some small capital is dust, but it's a safe way, and who endure and have patience can build a nice capital!
1850  Economy / Gambling / Re: which casino has a lot of action on their Plinko game? on: October 08, 2022, 12:49:45 PM
hello

which casino has most action and wager on his Plinko game? to be frank I did not follow lastly the casinos which are offering the Plinko game
..

I know it's crash, but I can't see the number of active people on Plinko, just wanted to point out that when it comes to action there's a lot of action in BC.Game. Look at that bets and the number of active people... and it's like that all the time. When it comes to Plinko I know a few guys from the Gosu group that play Plinko at BC, the bets and wins they shared are crazy, many of them over $1000 wins.

BC has many in-house games, over 20, and some of them are unique and very interesting in my opinion.. so generally, it's a good place for playing.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Distortion Pattern on: October 08, 2022, 11:40:19 AM
Those are all normal patterns in gambling although the first one I would say happen to people who only start gambling and never or almost never I experience a chance that after playing for so long in a casino in a random deposit to directly go and make that big win.

Most common for what I have seen both as my personal experience and those around me is the third option, you win and you think that now I am being lucky or I can't have more bad luck and this is the trap which is correct makes many people to continue gambling and only worse things happen after this like losing everything or even worse coming back and becoming addicted.

Well, in my case, all these patterns are normal and I have gone through them many times. The pattern depends on someone's gambling style and of course the choice of the game, in my opinion, those of us who like to play slots more often fall into "maxwin/lossmax" situations.

In my experience, one pattern is missing, we also have an almost straight line, where we don't win or lose much. It's like some normal play, the opposite of the aggressive style of playing that includes a lot of pushing and rising bets. This aggressive style is usually responsible for these patterns presented by OP.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BNB Blockchain hack! on: October 07, 2022, 08:20:24 PM
... Just because something isn't hacked doesn't mean it's as secure as possible, just that hackers haven't discovered the vulnerabilities yet...

Nice comment, but this part is probably the best! I would just add "but they are working hard on finding those vulnerabilities", of course, the higher reward will attract more hackers who will make more effort in finding them!

Well, one thing is sure, Binance is handling pretty well with all the problems! They always come out with some explanations and plans for how the problem will be solved, they keep the community calm. One of the reasons why they are on top!
1853  Economy / Economics / Re: Business failure among small-scale entrepreneurs on: October 07, 2022, 07:06:36 PM
All these reasons show how bad the team behind the project actually is! The team leader didn't choose the right people, they didn't manage to connect and that's why the job went bad! The most important part is how the people behind the business do their job, from the boss to the doorman... if the doorman is scary he will push people away!

People who start from scratch have to give up free time, in most cases even time for the family! Until the business starts bringing something back it's work day and night, literally! Some of my closest people have businesses, they started from scratch, and only after 5+ years they have a bit more free time. Simply, some people don't have the dedication and courage to risk (to risk much more than money in some moments) in order to create a business, and that's why they fall into the water as soon as the first storm arrives!

Bottom line is that if you don't try you will not know! If you try you need to think about many things and be brave to take some risks, nothing comes without that.
1854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does new projects succeed in bear on: October 06, 2022, 08:54:54 PM
I belive that projects should start at bear market, If they have the intention to become one of the pioneers of new trend, they should start at bear market. Remember those project that rise up on the revent bull market? Most of those started during the recession. Bear market is for builders and projects who easily failed because of current market scenarios means they are weak and can't handle the same marketcycle again. Investors should find projects in this season, everything is on cheap!

Well, when it's bear market people look for other options, simply as that! So you are right, some good projects started in the bear market had attention because people had time to see it! In bull times people just watch for the highest gainers, new projects don't even have a chance to be seen.

But, the only rule is, there are no rules! If there's something real behind the project and the team is serious they can create something over time whenever they start! So before we judge some projects we should take a closer look and make our own decisions.
1855  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Education seems to have failed in some developing country on: October 06, 2022, 07:35:08 PM
CONCLUSION
School gives certificate but doesn't guarantee a job.

But without a certificate, you are not qualified for some higher position! This is a strange part, even if someone knows better the advantage has a guy with a diploma. So in my company, people who know something have low-level places, and people with diplomas have big paychecks and zero knowledge... yes, we are going down. So instead of progressing and going forward, it's like we are going backward, it's just a question of time when will everything fall apart!

Education failed everywhere! Every new generation should be better than the one before, but it's not the case, we are trapped, simply the system is rigged! "They" don't want educated people with open minds, "they" need slaves and people who will work for them.

I guess it's perfect for this topic, enjoy:

1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casinos by categories on: October 06, 2022, 03:54:24 PM
Dividend-based casinos like Betfury, Chips, TrustDice, Starsbet, and Owl. I guess there are others, but I don't know about similar casinos outside the forum, to be honest, I didn't bother to search much because I think the ones active here on the forum are enough. Definitely, there is something interesting and unique about dividend-based casinos that can make a difference when people choose where to play!
1857  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: October 05, 2022, 09:11:49 PM
You can imagine this. You get A few dollars worth of dividends but you are loosing hundreds dollars from your capital that being used to invest in gambling token and then without capital gain any token will always become a horrible choice.
Token being create as a way for people to invest in the gambling platforms too.
If for the purpose of getting dividends then you have to consider the risk of holding gambling tokens because they are not stable tokens and gambling tokens are very low in volume so they can crash at any time, so hunting for profits from dividends is not effective compared to the impact of losses and is better for short term trading despite getting low profits.

Curious George you are losing because it's not your night, it's gambling! In some casinos, you can "lose" the same amount and get nothing in return, with dividend-based casinos you will get at least something! I guess that you will think that you could wager more with that amount, you would have more tokens and your daily payouts would be higher, only if you played a bit smarter! Been there, done that! But the reality is if you have enough tokens for staking you can have some nice daily income, and that lasts for a while. Dividend-based casinos are practically new, with just a year or two behind, but some of them are still here and I think they will stay around.
1858  Economy / Economics / Re: Currencies are Collapsing Everywhere. on: October 05, 2022, 06:15:29 PM
These days I saw some interviews with "our beloved" president and his minions! They are talking about Euro and if the EU doesn't act and let Euro go deeper my country and other satellite countries can suffer a lot. Inflation is already high here, things are getting more expensive on weekly basis... printing more money is probably the worst option, but is there anyone who thinks that politicians care about that?!

Well, I guess it's time to move from dollar and euro, probably a lot safer options are gold and Bitcoin! If the world chooses crypto it will be a real fiesta after the next halving!

A thread from yesterday: Tool to copy-trade Binance Leaderboard.

Quote
In order to provide auto-copy, we use Binance API.

Well, I like the concept, if it's possible to copy trades from the Binance leaderboard? But when it's come to safety and security and I a not sure about these copy-trading bots at all! The guy that offers such a bot in the other thread is charging $29 per month. That's ok, but why he needs that if that bot works fine and generates profit? Why share it at all?
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Generate Profit in this bear time? on: October 04, 2022, 04:10:40 PM
Bear time is one of most interesting time as long term is for an instinct is very secure but on the point of short term investors struggle to generate the profits as market is not always volatile in that time so how to generate profits is really a big concern but i think we can use the bots trading for some profits. Also there comes an opportunity to invest in the mining or staking side as staking is not recommended.

Now it's not the time to think about generating profit, it's time for buying and accumulating. I am not sure why you think that staking is not recommended, after Ethereum merge you can even stake ETH, of course, if you have enough ETH for that. It's nice to have some passive income from staking/farming, both can be good, and many platforms have so many options to choose from now. I like staking, with some higher investment you can get some significant monthly income, and in my opinion, some staking options are pretty safe.
