I went to the dentist for 1-2 teeth I was having an issue with and they recommended full extraction to avoid future issues. I really felt like I didn't have a choice. So, I said fuck it, let's get it done.
I heard or may be it's a saying that most of the celebrities (Hollywood) go for smile makeover which involves extraction of their teeth, teeth capped, edges the teeth all in a complete straight line, triangle at the base of the tooth and many more dental makeover. It's not a big deal. You will live long without it.

How is your health overall now?
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: December 31 Soccer predictions on: December 31, 2022, 03:00:06 PM
May be we can have a common prediction thread. Everyone is free to post their legs and test each others luck or skill whatever you call it.

Brighton - Arsenal
Over 2.5 goals

Quote
Wolverhampton - Man Utd
You already got it wrong. Utd finished with a 0 - 1 lead. If I were to post a prediction then I would post over 1.5 goals to be honest.

Quote
Bournemouth - Crystal Palace
Both team to score.

Quote
Man City - Everton
Both team to score

Quote
Newcastle - Leeds
Over 3.5 goals

@Joe thanks for agreeing and sharing your interview with Pmalek. Bitcointalk is a place where you will meet OGs in bitcoin. It's awful that many of them are not still with us. Some left because they became busy with other projects or lost interest. Some of them died. It was the place of satoshi before he disappeared, Hal Finney R.I.P brother. Bruno, Zepher, TecShare and many are no longer with us.

But perhaps he will turn up one day to say a few words to the community and introduce himself.
It will be a good addition for the community.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 31, 2022, 01:44:19 PM
Both to score on Liverpool games, easiest money this season. Did you guys see the goals? First K. Dewsbury-Hall scored a goal from solo run where he looked like combination of Messi & Mbappe thanks to Liverpool defense. Later on, one of the strangest own goals for Leicester. I watched the situation 5 times and I am still not sure how Faes managed to score that  Grin Should get some sort of reward for this accomplishment.
It was a fixed match 😂
The number of opportunity Nunez missed in the match again, he needed someone to assist him, Faes took the charge 😉

Seriously, Liverpool needs to improve their game. They were average in the match. The win was lucky for them, they don't deserve it.

Come on Wolves! Submit United!
No! I have a 1 - 2 win for Utd LOL
1846  Economy / Reputation / Re: My ignore list got a Christmas cleanup on: December 31, 2022, 01:24:28 PM
Inspired from NeuroticFish I am going to wipe my ignore list. Well the following was my ignore list LOL

Code:
Ratimov
TheCryptonianGroup

I think I ignored Ratimov when you had the plagiarism case against you and in the discussion it went out of hand. No idea though why the other one was in ignore. You both have a wishful new year and prosperous life ahead.

With JollyGood I have bitter opinion but trust me I have nothing personal against you. I don't like you because you are careless and too triggered to insult others which eventually bring bad effect to the forum. After all we all love the place. Don't overdo with the feedback and default trust setting, you will be loved by many people.

Other than all these, I can not remember I have any bad experience with anyone else.

Ultimately, who you ignore is your business, and you don't need to make it public. Making it public that you've ignored x will only cause conflict. It's probably just to keep it unknown to them that you've ignored them.

You nailed it. 50% of the reputation clash will reduce if people are respectful to each others.

1847  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit Overflow of ltcrstrbrt on: December 31, 2022, 12:58:20 PM
More important thing is that trying to show more merit to receive a loan. Aked a loan via private message, I don't know how many messages were sent. I can confirm that I have received the loan request via private message. And these posts were created mainly for making aware of the activity to lender/campaign manager.
First of all, You should not make false accusations based on thin air, secondly I didn't asked you for a loan! I asked how many can you lend and for what time!!! There was a short PM ( I'll not post here ).. Trying to be so aggressive doesn't make you better, don't you? I see that you are quite new on BitcoinTalk ( from 2018) wondering where have you been when this forum needed you? When this forum needed to grow up... It doesn't matter!

Everyone has good and bad periods of time...I was lucky when in the 2015-2017 and unlucky starting  from 2019 until now...but thats about my personal life!!
Searching for a loan  among community members starting to be a crime?

BTW, you asked me how I got these merits ...contacts etc... bare in mind that in 2016 (ie.) in my town ( 40k res) where around 25 BitcoinTalk users and more than 40 miners ... Also 3 Icos started from my town... people are talking each others they meeting etc... I'm not living in the jungle...

This place has changed since the merit system introduced and the Default trust system changed. You are talking about the time when scam busting was not a profession, reporting spammers was not a profession. Everyone had respects for others. It's old now. Learn to live with the changed new environment.

Are they your alt accounts? Did you ask them to merit your account? Did you pay them for it?
I don't know if they are alt of one person but he already explained it.

Why it's easy to deny and if you want to deny then how would you prove it wrong?

Well, Im done with talking to a troll now Tongue
I disagree, I think some of you are overlooking everything all the time. Maybe your heart is in the right place but it does not make sense to underestimate OGs all the time whenever you get a chance. The forum will be a better place when members will have respect for each others.

Just to be clear, I am not defending ltcrstrbrt but overall lately members are doing things that are not good for the forum environment. It will only spread hates and jealousy to each others.

searching and asking ( two different world)
It's language barer, OP and some others has taken it that you are asking for it.

What one change would you like to see in bitcointalk in 2023?
Changing of Feedback system.

Apply it only for trades. And feedback will be given or exchanged between only the two party who will be involved in trade.

Before a deal, the seller create a topic with the amount he needs. The buyer pay it and update the topic with the trade information. Then a feedback window enable for both buyer and seller to leave feedback for each others. It could be a neutral or positive or negative.

The current feedback system lost it's value.
Forum members do not need an approval of others who will say "This is a good form member" or "This guy is a scammer" or "This is an alt account of mr. x".
1850  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos: is it possible to get an exception from Cloudflare for scrapers? on: December 30, 2022, 07:05:08 PM
Let's get real, especially these 3 scrapers help the forum a lot, filling the gaps with features we don't have.. for example because the forum software is old.
I don't disagree with you about these three users. There is another one or better to say two more we can add. Ddmr and tranthidung as far as I know. But in these process we are trusting these people. People changes, they will change too. Any bad intend could create trouble for others. In the mean time you have no choice too.

I think a more reliable solution would be to have purpose-built scraping endpoints that take an API key.[...]
Off-topic: I can imagine a set of new endpoints being used to power a Bitcointalk mobile app. Also, I can imagine the same being used as a way to bootstrap the new forum software (as opposed to a point-in-time data migration) which might allow for the old forum and the new one to happily co-exist for a time.
We can dream for it if we expect Theymos to do something about it. But since you have a good hand. You can try like the OP patch and hand over the codes to Theymos.

Is it a bad thing to give an advantage to users who create something that some people consider useful?
A knife can be used to kill someone or to prepare your veg. It's all down to the intention of use of a tool.
1851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling For Fun - What Does This Mean To You? on: December 30, 2022, 06:56:03 PM
Here Is What Gambling For Fun Mean To Me
To me, gambling for fun simply means - gambling, with hopes of making profit, but with the consciousness that if the profit does not come, I choose not to react negatively to the loss, or allow the loss way me down or make me feel bad, I just focus/put/fix my mind on the fun I had playing the game rather than focus or fix my mind on the money I lost.
You deposit $100. Place a bet of $20 then lose, you are down $20.
You place a two fold of $10, lose it, you are down to $30
You place a bet of $20, win it. You make $20. You have now $90
You place a bet of $10 and win it. You make more $20 this time because the odd was good. You have now $110.
You place a bet of $10 again. Lose it. You are now at where you started, $100.
In between, your whole evening is wasted. You go to sleep and plan for tomorrow.

You place a bet of $10 to test and lose it, you are down o $90
You lose patience and bet $50 this time with and odd of 1/2. You win it. You have now $115. You are excited.
You try with $15 to make more $15. But unfortunately lose again. $100 now you have.
You are feeling lucky this time and again place a bet of $50 with an odd of 1.80. This time you lose it. You are down to $50.
Upset and try with $20 again. Lose it and you are down to $30.
In the mean time it's bed time. You feel you have nothing left so you put $30 in a random match. The balance is zero now.

Wake up in the morning you wait for the match to start. Match starts and you win. You balance become $50 again.
This way your entire weekend is wasted and you are down to $50 from $100 initially deposited.

You wait for the next week.

This is gambling for me. Well it used to be. Gambling means, taking stress while you are having fun. But the worse thing happen with you is that you lose your time which you could use into something productive for your life and the people connected with you.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 30, 2022, 06:38:45 PM
Ikr, but at least Avirunes won it lol. He really deserved it with his almost-perfect picks. Good luck for the upcoming round!
It was a perfect round for him with 17 points and jumped from 33th to 25th, I jumped from 20th to 16th and you were in top10 anyway but now leading the point table. Good job.

Round18 starts in less than two hours. While Liverpool is an easy guess, the West Ham vs Brentford is a hard one for me. I always find it hard to go with a draw. So I am in doubt of where to stay until the match starts. If I consider bookies then they are keeping West Ham ahead.

Liverpool is a team not capable to defend but more than capable of outscoring most oponnents. I am expecting at least 4 goals tonight. We shall see soon who was right  Grin
It's true that's why I always go with the number 3 when I pick Liverpool to win. City is the same but their defense is better I guess.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Max match & odd in Parlay/Multi on: December 29, 2022, 10:41:53 PM
I haven't had any winningsnon parlay but I've got a friend who won over 9 odds and that was the first time i got so interested in parlay and wanted to give it a trial but I always try to be contented and not get swept off my feet over an enticing win because I know it might get to fabour me or be my field.
It's been long time, I can not remember the exact odd of the parlay but it was something over £40 and I had £20 stake in that 8 fold acca. I used to try parlay all the time at that time. Whatever I won from that acca I can guarantee that I lost more than that LOL

For example:

- If the parlay will be composed of 5 legs, the odds to consider will be around 1.5 - 1.6.
- If the parlay will be composed of 10 legs, the odds to consider will be around 1.2 - 1.3
- If the parlay will be composed of max legs available (25 legs on Stake), the odds will always be on the Favorites ranging from 1.1 - 1.2.
I see there are some strategy you are following but do they really works. Sometimes you will find a leg which is obvious win but the odd is higher. One of my favorite strategy was to create a long slip in football matches after the half time in over under goal market. The teams who had higher scoring rate, you can just select over x.5 after 60 minutes. Hit and miss but if you get it right then a 3 fold or 4 fold always have a good chance to win.

Sometimes it pains me when I suffered to type a very good thread and mistakenly refreshed the page, or clicked delete and everything that I have suffered to type were wipeout. With the anger in me I left the topic.

Let bring this feature  to the tools bar in the typing interface.
Keep suffering, you deserve it LOL
Bitcointalk is over 10 years old machine, the software we are using is one of the oldest forum software. The admin we have implements anything after minimum 2 years of interval (😉), people stopped begging for the new forum software after waiting for a decade but you don't know anything about it? You obviously deserve it.

Learn to use Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C before clicking any action button or reloading a page. Make it a habit.
1855  Other / Meta / Re: @theymos: is it possible to get an exception from Cloudflare for scrapers? on: December 29, 2022, 09:57:38 PM
Public request to theymos: Is it possible to get an exception from Cloudflare for popular scraping bots? I'm thinking of BPIP.org, Ninjastic.space and loyce.club, but there are probably a few others that provide useful features for the Bitcointalk community. It would be really nice if DDOS-protection doesn't interfere with features.
The Cloudflare or any other DDOS protection bot were supposed to be introduced to prevent scrapping. I am sorry if it sounds harsh but I don't think many people over the internet like the way the scrappers are scrapping every information that are published intentionally or unintentionally. Everyone have their rights to remove any information they want. But it's unknown how many bots out there and scrapping everything without our knowledge.

May be I can trust Loyce.club, the same with Ninjastics or BPIP but if we give them advantage over others then we are creating double standard.  Especially when this forum is about an economy like Bitcoin, we really need to be careful about what information we post and who keep copies of our information.
1856  Other / Meta / Re: Is it only me? Clouldflare on: December 29, 2022, 06:19:49 PM
I can't log in for almost 15 minutes.
When I am browsing it from my phone (not using VPN or TOR) I saw it several times, the rate of seeing the cloudflare page is higher than usual. But since I logged in (TOR) and already made two posts, yet did not see the page.

It's obviously a pain. I even had to browse the forum without seeing images/icons (those load from server). It was annoying experience but since I am familiar with every possible action buttons, it was not that hard to do the regular things without even seeing the images/icons.
1857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: December 29, 2022, 06:05:51 PM
Are you famLFC? Damn we have close gap currently Grin
Yes sir, that's me 😉
I thought it was between you, me and Aviruns but someone else found himself in between us after the final match LOL.

In the City match that last goal from Leeds took away my 3 points. I was expecting another goal in the match after already having the 3rd goal in the 64th minutes but did not expect it from Leeds though. But anyway, 1.5 points and with 3 exact score, the round was very good for me.

Two matchs tomorrow including Liverpool meeting Leicester in Anfield. Don't miss it.

what is the problem you want to present here?
His problem is, he is not an alt of the account that JollyGood is thinking or would like to think.

Quote
his feedback is based on his assumption
He really needs to learn to have self note in a dairy or in a notepad. I don't understand why he is so triggered to write anything on others feedback page and he has to be always in the reputation section. You will rarely find weeks where there are no complain against his feedback left for someone else. All of us are in the forum from years even before half a decades before JollyGood heard about the forum but none of us have many complains about feedback leaving for others.

Without him in the DT network, members will live in peace. He is a curse to the DT network.

saxydev, all you can do is ~JollyGood on your trust page : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust

Not three months, last online is on October 6th which is over 2 months now.

OP I suggest you open a scam accusation in the scam accusation section
I reported it, hopefully it will be moved.

It's really beyond my understanding, why people join a fresh casino and lose money. There are established ones for years running, isn't it worth using their service?
