1841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: pump end or only correction? on: May 18, 2019, 03:20:43 AM
See the market has started to fall, all crypto coins show red. many say this is a correction at the moment, but there are some who say that the Whales has begun to Dump altcoin.

so does this mean the pump is over?

bitcoin has returned to 7000, without any major changes to altcoin. do you think this is good?

who is here who got the profit from the altcoin yesterday?

Could be anything but what's for sure is whales are accumulating more and more coins and sooner or later there would be a large price pump.
But what we have also to realize is the price of 5K-7K is the current base price of bitcoin. There's no going below it. If you have bought it in this range, than it would be better for you to hold.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 18, 2019, 02:54:19 AM
What are the differences between online and traditional gambling ? Which you like the most and why ? In my opinion both the types of gambling have got their own advantages and disadvantages. You can try both for some time and then choose one based on your convenience.

Both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Talking about online gambling, the largest cons of them is they are not social. People love to gamble with and around friends.
Though crash type of game are somewhat same for multiple users and hence is an active chat is fun, there are no P2P games for active participation.
1843  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If there is a store like Amazon or ebay that accepts only BTC would you use it? on: May 18, 2019, 01:19:58 AM
What I'm trying to ask is would you use that type of store with your crpyto (maybe that store accepts more crypto not only BTC) or you see crypto only as an asset that will provide you more fiat money in the future?

Of course I would. I'd rather trust myself with my money than Paypal or any Credit cards.
Cryptocurrency could be the ultimate tool to create a worldwide open market.
And this is going to happen sooner as people are being aware how insanely they are charging us for using our own money.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / China to digitalize Renminbi through blockchain on: May 18, 2019, 01:16:26 AM
Peoples bank of China is supposedly trailing a crypto form of Chinese Renminbi as a digital currency.
The nodes of which would be controlled by the The People's bank of China and major Chinese bank where transactions would be visible to the authorities but not to the general public.
https://www.coindesk.com/digital-renminbi-a-fiat-coin-to-make-m0-great-again

Could we call it a cryptocurrency?
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best sports betting movies on: May 18, 2019, 12:42:02 AM
Intacto is a good spanish movie. Though it's more about stealing luck from people coming into the casino, it's still an amazing movie to watch.
Similar is "the cooler" Las vegas comedy movie where there's a cooler in casino, when people starts earning more, the presence of the cooler would be enough to make them lose.
1846  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Is mining Ethereum profitable? on: May 17, 2019, 03:30:37 PM
Is mining Ethereum profitable this days, how we can start mining it?

It depends on different factors and most primarily by the electricity cost at your place.
GPUs are energy hungry machines, not only they require a lot of electricity but also a regular and constant voltage would be beneficial for its life.
Other things that affect are prices of GPU and other hardware, crypto market and price of Ethereum, it's difficulty, the size of the farm and a cooler climate would be a bonus.
1847  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Alternatives to Directbet? on: May 17, 2019, 03:23:23 PM
About 2 years now they closed. Im still missing Directbet, Michelle was really cool.
Do you now what happened?

Hi Jcga Smiley
No they haven't provided any reason about this closure.
I have just one suspect, related btc price. At a certain points it can be very risky accept a bet in bitcoin well in advance, since price of btc could literally explode in a matter of days and they should even pay the bet in btc ( so they should be able to cover not only the betting value but also the increments itself of btc!)
We all lose the best sites in gambling, Michelle with her crazy promotions and always supports gamblers like us. Closing directbet cause it wants to focus on their new business but what business instructions are not given and directbet doesn't plan to re-open the site for recovery. I honestly really miss the presence of Michelle and Directbet I'm also sure you miss too guys.
Every gambler will be missing it hardly. Till date we've got so many gambling websites with varied access, but in some way directbet kept every user so attached to the website. With them there won't be any issues with the settlement on winning and the live betting is the most impressive thing for which I use directbet during those days. When things change we need to move on finding the alternative.

I too miss directbet, but with the increased time between transaction, high transaction fees and as I realized directbet were offering much lower odds than other sportsbook, I've now got used to to deposit and bet sites. Even directbet were to resurrect now, I won't go back to it.
1848  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possibility and Legitimacy of a Rollback on: May 17, 2019, 03:14:57 PM
Such rollback had been done in the history of Bitcoin and is a useful tool in drastic circumstances.
But consensus of simple majority of miners could not be considered as the agreement of the bitcoin community.
There should be some sort of voting mechanism in between miner and holders to reach a consensus as these two groups are the ones most affected.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay accepts crypto? on: May 17, 2019, 03:09:18 PM
It's rumores ebay is gonna to start accepting crypto payments. Have u heard? I am glad that more e-commerce companies are starting to allow the use of cryptocurrency to pay. It can be assumed that Amazon and Ebay will develop their own cryptocurrency

Some of the merchants in Alibaba had been accepting crypto for years now. But Ebay is much different from that but they could let the users opt out for their own choice of payment at their own risk.
There have been new crypto based marketplaces and these markets would surely put some pressure on Ebay to try something new.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Definition of Winning in Gambling on: May 17, 2019, 01:18:20 PM
This is my result in searching the meaning of “Winning”

Quote
Definition of winning (Entry 1 of 2)
1 : the act of one that wins : VICTORY

From: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/winning

How would you know that you have really one? Is it just one game? Only one chance where you get the W or the L? Is that already the Victory that is defined or Defeat when you lose?

This came into my thoughts when I read somewhere here in BTCT that when are you going to stop? And a lot of people have suggested that they will stop when they have already won. It got me thinking, how would be a Win?

There could be a lot of factors on when someone is going to stop. It probably depends on what type of person you are but seeing everyone has their own opinions, you could share everything here.

We are in a fast paced world where people would want to have instant income basically instant gratification. Could that be a win already? What is the motivation knowing that you are continue to win and lose when you gamble. What is the TRUE meaning of ”Winning” in gambling for you? Is it successful profits or satisfied game even if you lose?

This is seriously a good question to ask own-self.
Each and every site I deposited my coin, I never withdrew more than I deposited. It's not that I didn't win but I was reluctant to cashout until I had no amount to cashout. And I have repeated that mistake many many times.
1851  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: May 17, 2019, 04:26:49 AM
Hy all. How are you.Do you have a long-term plan for cryptocurrency investment? What are your plans, Is it only to gain profits in the future? Or you have hope and other dreams. Thank you very much.

I have one now.
I'm putting everything I have into a number of crypto and USDT and using them to earn an interest for me. I'm trying to maintain a 80% Bitcoin, 5% Ethereum, 5% Litecoin, 5% Bitcoincash and 5% USDT.
1852  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to become a professional Trader (PRO) ? on: May 15, 2019, 10:55:39 PM
I think the best way to be a pro trader is gain a lot of experience even do its bad or good experience still the best teacher Wink
Experience will be the best teacher. But you should remember the rules that you should follow before this. Because, immediately starting trading will cause unnecessary losses without any knowledge.

Trading bots. A pro trader would take advantage of trading bots as he/she can't spend day and night checking every exchanges.
You need to have a fixed formula for when to buy and when to sell and at what amount. It would remove the chances of sentimental trades.
1853  Economy / Securities / Re: Security Tokens or STO – Next step in Evolution of Capital Markets [Part 1/5] on: May 15, 2019, 10:51:13 PM
STO are basically the same as ICO if there are no regulatory measures to control them. The crypto market is dynamic and the token issuer moves to any name that could attract investors.
No start up can start providing profit the next month they collect the money unless they just put it in a bank and make interest from it.

And the good thing is there are now many regulated STOs. If you just researched a but a few of well established companies have issued STOs to increase their capital. Though the promised profit are not that spectacular and there are lesser chances of bull or bear affecting the price of STO token, it's after all a safer investment.
1854  Economy / Gambling / Re: SafeDICE.com ★ Bitcoin Dice ★ Monero ★ 0.5% Edge ★ Fast Cashout ★ Since 2014 on: May 15, 2019, 03:51:15 PM

So it's not the best site for me, before I can consider this, but time changes and their support is not as good as before.

"not as good as before" is an interesting way to put it.

Their support is gone, with the exception of the coin movement mentioned by DarkStar above there hasn't been a sign of life for months now. As it stands your only way to get Bitcoin out is by some other unlucky soul unsuspectingly depositing coins in SafeDice's hot wallet. And probably sooner rather than later the account funds for either their domain or their server will run out and the site will go offline for good.

I stand corrected, yeah, they don't have support, (wrong choice of words)

I'm sad to see SafeDice go, but at this point everyone should simply stay away.

The feedback are not good and with that I am also sad that one of the oldest dice site in the crypto space will soon be gone.
They are not completely gone yet but all their gamblers now are maybe newbie in the space or not a member of this forum.

Just sad to see one of the oldest Bitcoin dice site gone.
Though the site was always a one man venture, there never was any support response on time but it had advance UI for the time and had one of the fastest autobet. I remember they were one of the first site to add BCH as I had withdrawn my forked BCH into safedice.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 15, 2019, 10:30:11 AM
Varys knew what was going to happen with him and he was planning something in secret. I bet he would be in some way responsible to kill the Mad Queen Denarys. So, there remains only one viable contender for the iron throne, John snow. That is if he isn't killed by Denarys first.

Here's a prediction theory contest by guardian

1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: May 14, 2019, 06:04:56 PM
This is going to be one of the worst executed ending for TV shows in 21st century. They had done well job in the first 2 seasons and the execution of story went on being poorer and poorer.
What we have now could have been shown better but the producer seems to be rushing through it as they want quick cash and quit. Looks like an exit scam.

yes indeed , so disappointed with this ending and I still have hope that this is not true
but almost everything they mentioned earlier in the leaks came true so most likely this is the ending

I totally lost hope in this season after episode 3 , was at least hoping some events will change the game like Peter Baelish being alive since his death doesn't make sense at all
fans came up with theories that are much better than the version of the writers

I don't know what the viewer were expecting but this episode too was as good as I'd expect with the GOT team.
The queen is the daughter of mad king, she do carry the same genetics. We all are aware of what mad king did.
This also shows humans if not more, are no less, cold hearted than the ice zombies. If the nature didn't destroyed us, we would destroy ourselves.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: gotsatoshi.com to reveal the identity of satoshi in 12 hours on: May 14, 2019, 04:06:53 PM
LOL Satoshi is now revealed.
It's Satoshi but not the Satoshi, creator of Bitcoin but Satoshi something different.
Nice way to advertise their product but I don't think such negative advertisement would yield them any positive response.

1858  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will mining be profitable again? on: May 13, 2019, 03:57:58 PM
Now that bitcoin is at 7000k plus is mining becoming profitable again? Or bitcoin still have to surge more in price before profitable mining returns?

Mining was always profitable but with the increased price, comes increase in number of transactions. So, there are more blocks and more value for each block. So, the profit naturally increases. But the profit is mainly depended on the price of electricity and purchase and maintenance of miners.
1859  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Now FREE to JOIN] IPL 2019 Prediction Pool and discussion on: May 13, 2019, 12:24:57 AM
Shocked May is the month of surprises and last minutes comeback. Whether it be the both UEFA championship trophy or the IPL finals.
Who would have thought till the very last moment that CSK would lose with that number of wickets remaining. Seriously there's some curse or omen on CSK against MI.
1860  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any pvp betting game? on: May 12, 2019, 03:56:04 PM
If you like betting on sports and events, fairlay is a great place for P2P bet. The odds are decided by the users so you would have the best ones and you can even create your own event and invite other gamblers to join it.
