1841  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 22, 2020, 08:56:39 AM
Holding on a trade is dependent upon the market prices of the coins. If the coin that you are currently investing into is not having much value in the digital world, then obviously you will not hold on to it even for a day. Mostly people spend more time for bitcoin trading because its price is much more reliable to gain profits.

If that is the case I think a lot of people will be holding just Bitcoin.

It is true that there are a lot of profits generated by Bitcoin in the future, but it just not shows gains but also profits in the long run. It is not always pushing upwards. They usually hold Bitcoin, well, it is Bitcoin. It is not that it is reliable when it comes to gaining profits, it is just that there are a lot of people using it and in cryptocurrency, it is usually the "main" in the market.
1842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 07:50:48 AM
They might have a profit of 20M from it, so great.

Though, the problem here is price of the ticket. It costs $25 which is in Mexican peso is equivalent to 500. There might be some people who would spend a lot of money for that but I don't think that those 6M tickets will be sold out. Maybe 3 million can be sold, I don't know still, that is a huge risk. I think if that would be raffled here, people will just line up yelling YOLO, that is a presidential plane.
i think that is only estimated ticket to be sell but maybe they will only look for at least 3-4 million and go on the raffle.

I think it will be the exact one.

Based on the article, he is also seeking help, and I think that is enough to say that a lot of people will also buy the ticket. I said that it might not sell but maybe they can think about two things, they have a chance of winning a plane that may cost $130M and they also helped the country.
1843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 05:58:40 AM
i read that the 2 year service is free so i will use the plane for two year and then after that , i will dispose it for a much lower price so that i can easily find a buyer  . the price is negotiable but that wont hurt me too much because it can for sure cost over a million dollar .  a single million dollar will be enough for me to live for a long time Smiley

but that is all, if i win . im not expecting to win but i still give it a go and gamble some bucks for a ticket entry

It said a year, not 2 years.

I could use that for some time, I could let people to board that and be paid for it. Who would say no to that, they are riding a presidential plane. I don't know why the president did not accept the $125 offer, I think they really want to get an additional $20M out of it. I think they are desperate at this point, they really needed it.
1844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Win a Presidential plane... on: January 22, 2020, 04:52:29 AM
Silly idea to be honest.

The first thing that will happen to this plane if won is to be resold. I am quite certain this is the path the winner will choose.

I don't think it is that silly, to be honest.

People would think that their president is selling one of his luxurious priveledges for the development of their country, that would be great, isn't it? Also, if the lottery tickets are also sold out, that would give them a profit of 20M. Resold? obviously, you will get a presidential plane for $25 which real price is at $130M, it might get sold at a maximum 50M to 100M, huge profit.

1846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tricks and tips for esports betting on: January 19, 2020, 12:16:12 PM
It is one thing to bet with analysis and it is another to just make a bet without knowing anything. Yes, this is gambling and we will still end up on either the winning or the losing side but it definitely helps if you know what you are betting.

How about the people that supports a team?

It is not always the people that just bet with analysis and not with anything at all, there are also those people that bet on the team that they support, knowing their abilities or skill but without analyzing the opponent at all.
1847  Economy / Economics / Re: 10M Bitcoins Haven’t Moved in More Than a Year, Highest Since 2017 on: January 19, 2020, 11:33:40 AM
Well there is a reason's why it is not moving, either it is own by long term investors, businessman, trader groups, manipulators and whales or hack wallets that own by many users. this 10M bitcoin is maybe our savior to not totally the price drop down to 90%, if this 10M btc will dump I think the market won't recover immediately and the users who lost half of their funds too.

Usually this kind of wallets moves in time.

If that is owned by one identity, well, a whale, that will usually move into new wallet since there are a lot of whales doing that. If that is untouched for a long time, then that might mean that thebowner of it is holding it or maybe someone that just not active in the community, or maybe someone like Satoshi, or an owner of an exchange
1848  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 19, 2020, 10:10:24 AM
Soon or later there will be a big war no doubt about it. The power will be shifted. But that won't between Iran and USA only, that can be the World War 3 and that time all the fiat money will be avoided, the digital currency will be the only way to use in larger scale!
Despite seeing the massive destruction from wwI and II, big powers are still not settling for peace rather they are planning for ww3. If ww3 happens neither fiat nor digital currency will survive since there will be rear chances of life after ww3

As said by the posts here, there are these protocols they need to follow.

Unlike in the past where war is something done when you just want it, nowadays there are rules in declaring a war into other countries. I think it is great since war can be lessen, with the harassment of Iran to America, something sparked and I am glad that it did not continue, still, a lot of people are talking about Iran taking down an Ukranian plane.
1849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bought this stuff with Bitcoin, great way for people to become aware of Bitcoin on: January 19, 2020, 07:36:27 AM
They aware but here is the thing.

My mother watched news and when he heard anything about Bitcoin, he immediately tells me. She also talked about it with other people and I am shocked since most of then do not use Bitcoin but call it as illegal or a scam. I don't know but when my mother told me that, she got worried. Not until I explain all of the misunderstanding with her since it is not illegal in our country and it is not a scam. It is the people, they are aware but they do not know what really it is.
1850  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 18, 2020, 11:52:08 AM
full time trading would be profitable for me maybe if only the market was so bullish. because i am not an expert and the market is very dynamic. volatility is too high. so if you are not enough good to follow everything it is very risky to make full time trading.

There are a lot of other people out there full time trading, but obviously it is not cryptocurrencies.

Even if it is not always bullish, you can still find a way to earn good amount of money if you really know what you are doing. When it falls down, then you can add another amount to your investment so when the price increases, your profit will also increase.
1851  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I am not lucky in trading - what am I doing wrong? on: January 18, 2020, 11:21:17 AM
So far I just choose my bid for trading to get the best price. But there are really times that we cannot predict the price downfall. Maybe its just a matter of timing. And as much as you can you must not trade all your funds to have spare whatever happens.

That is a rule that no one doesn't need to say, it is an unspoken rule.

I know that there are a lot of people trying to bet and want to get the maximum profit they can get but pushing all of your money into your investment especially if it is a cryptocurrency, that would be so risky. Better trade with a small amount first so you can ensure that you can't lose that much and can invest a lot of times.
1852  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 10:25:50 AM
It will also be interesting how much money can be generated in this fight.

We all know that Floyd vs Conor generated tons of money, I'm sure at some point there will be some comparisons about it. The fight depends on Pacquiao though, is Manny willing to put his legacy on the line here?

I mean, why not?

Pacquiao would be interested in this fight. Not just because of the money but also the fact that McGregor fought with Floyd and saying that he has a high possibility of winning on this match. The proof that he's holding right now is that he said that he has a lot of hits than Pacquiao did with Mayweather. That is in the past so we do not know what will happen now if Pacman and the Golden Boy face again.
1853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery In Your Place on: January 18, 2020, 09:41:55 AM
Here in Philippines we have lotto and its called jueteng and theres an easy two also. That is the lottery in our country but i think the jueteng is not legal its a illegal gambling but many people are getting addicted into it because they said its easy to win here in jueteng than lotto. Many places here in Philippines that they stop it but people doesn't stop they continue do it even they know that its illegal.

It is all the same. Lotto, that is what its called.

Easy two is one of the games, there are a lot of other too like the three digits and so on. This lottery by the PCSO is the most common and popular lottery in our country. Every one knows what it is and there are a lot of stations in every area of our country.
1854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 18, 2020, 08:24:13 AM
This match would be interesting.

Not just the money to be earned but also the comparison that would happen after the fight. We will be comparing three fighters with each other and one of them is not even a boxer. Manny would also be interested by this as far as I know.
1855  Economy / Economics / Re: Thoughts on the World War 3 and its possible impacts on future? on: January 18, 2020, 06:51:04 AM
To be honest, I am really confused.

It is said that this is Trump's fault, some say it is really Iran's fault and they are really plotting something to America. I don't know what to believe in and I know for sure, winning aside, something is also fueling this war, get it?

As far as oil is concerned USA has already got many from Iraq. Iran is sensible and will never start a war from its soil with USA. Iran know he will be just a piece of cake for powerful USA military. Good thing is we are not heading towards war.

Iraq? No, they are getting oil from Saudi and other countries too.

As far as I know, Iran threaten USA to attack Saudi if they take a revenge from attacking Iraq where one of the bases of America is located.
1856  Economy / Economics / Re: Do Not Blame Bitcoin, No Government Want To Make Its Citizen Millionaire on: January 18, 2020, 05:43:51 AM
if a country is prosperous for all people, it is possible to import power from abroad, and it may be that the imported power will have high tariffs in the prosperous country. but I think it is difficult to reduce poverty to 0, even in developed countries is difficult

There is no way you can stop poverty.

That proof of it is that because we are all human. We want to be atop of all of the people and no one wants to be at the equal footings as the other one. As long as economy is existent, poor people will do too, poverty can't be killed. Even if it is the most richest country in the world, the sign of poverty will always be there. If a country will just increase the wage, let's say 10 times more, don't you think that the people will just take advantage of it and stay like that for the rest of their lives? They will not be productive and that will stabilize the production making the country late in development.
1857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Celebrities using Bitcoin today? on: January 18, 2020, 04:51:41 AM
I don't know about Bitcoin but there are a lot of celebrities that is investors of cryptocurrency.

Floyd Mayweather is also investing on cryptocurrencies as he brags about it last year all over his social network's account. I don't know other celebrities, but I do know that most of them are sports celebrities. I also remembered that there will be a cryptocurrency in line for the support of celebrities like Korean Pop idols, heard or read anything about it?
1858  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would a Crypto Based Economy Make Things Safer? on: January 18, 2020, 03:59:19 AM
I think the major solution of a safer society is the people living on it. Crypto baser economy can somehow make things safer through a sufficient economic fund for safety and security. But, as I've mentioned the most significant part is how the people act and respond to the safety and security measures implemented.

Make sense, but I don't think they will be doing this.

If that will be the thing here, that might change a lot. Cryptocurrencies are known to be decentralized, hence it is volatile. If this is applied, then the price of that crypto will depend on the whales or investors using it and the price can be manipulated, just imagine how chaotic the economy will be if that happens. Digital currency it might be, but cryptocurrency? I don't think so.
1859  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to double capital in 2 months? on: January 18, 2020, 03:14:25 AM
Don't think of something impossible or hard to achieve. It's better to set more modest goals that you'll be able to accomplish than something that will end up failing you. With the ability to double your funds in such a short time, you are likely to take too much risk to lose. Bitcoin isn't the weapon to get rich over night, no matter how tempting it is.

It is not that bad to dream.

I mean setting a goal is not bad. If it is hard to achieve, then work hard, the better you become, the better your profit can go. With this market, the price is really fast changing, and doubling your capital is not impossible but you should not hope that much since no one knows what might happen.
1860  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A good advice for every traders. on: January 18, 2020, 02:08:35 AM
In my view, being able to control the feelings we have is the best advice for all traders. Because we often bring feelings when dealing as traders. For starters, because market prices are suddenly falling, our emotions are beginning to be affected, we are panicking, and we can't think calm and clear. Because of panic, we sell all the coins immediately and experience a substantial loss, even if emotions can be controlled. We're not going to sell all of a sudden, we're going to learn the business first. The price often decreases, the price may not go up again unexpectedly. Essentially, if we can regulate our feelings, we don't have to suffer losses.

This will be the first thing that a trader must have do, to control feelings over everything. As trader, we all know that we sometimes lose money especially when we dont hit the target, or we dont monitor our coin and suddenly the price of it dumps. We need a lot of patience and also, we need to manage our losses so that it would not happen again. Accept losses it wi be good for every trader.
Controlling our emotions and feelings while we are trading is all about psychology. It is the most important factor when we are trading, even if we know how to analyze and read charts it will all go nothing if we have improper psychology. We should focus on improvement of our psychology if we want to control our emotions in order to follow our trading plan and of course to become discipline trader.

I think it is all about patience.

Despite the many changes of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies over time, we should be patient and wait for the right time to execute our plan. We should be aware of the changes that is happening since with that, we can track the changes and come up with another plan pr strategy. Saying that, you should have your own record of the changes of your investment.
