So a digital currency controlled by the government replacing the current "uncontrollable" fiat money.

This is worse than banning bitcoin actually.

You will have basically no means escaping the government control. All your finances will be tracked and they will know everything you purchase , when you send money to your kinds and family in detail.  And they will be able to wipe your deposits with a click.

A lot of them will miss cash payments

Agree with you there. I think Ecuador is just a test-bed, to see how this will play out. Norway was recently airing the idea of abandoning cash and going 100% digital in a few years' time. The future is already here.

Donetsk, Lugansk Republics ready to remain part of Ukraine, seek special status
http://rt.com/news/184236-lugansk-donetsk-kiev-talks/

Quote
At talks in the Belarusian capital, the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have urged Kiev to acknowledge their autonomy within Ukraine, but said they wish to remain an integral part of the country.

LNR and DNR representatives urged the Ukrainian government to end their military operation in the country’s east so that parliamentary and local elections can take place freely.

“The president, government and [parliament] Verkhovna Rada should accept… decrees granting immediate recovery from the humanitarian catastrophe, acknowledging the special status of the territories under the control of the People’s Republics, creating conditions - first of all stopping the ‘anti-terror’ operations - for free elections of local authorities and MPs,” the document with the republics' position reads.

And now we can sit back and watch as some high-ranking US official will fly to Kiev, after which the peace initiative will be rejected (again) and genocide will intensify (again).

Russia-led military bloc ready to send peacekeepers to Ukraine

The head of the CSTO says its peacekeepers are ready for any operations, including in Ukraine, but their deployment requires the go-ahead from leaders of all member-countries.

"Deployment of the CSTO peacekeeping force can be ordered only by the Collective Security Council – the supreme body formed with heads of state of the member countries. By a joint decision these leaders can order the use of peacekeepers both on the territory of the member-states and also outside their borders,” General-Secretary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Nikolay Bordyuzha, stated on Friday.

And the latest development in sanctions yapping:

Australia imposes new round of sanctions against Russia
http://rt.com/business/184180-australia-new-sanctions-russia/

Quote
The Australian government on Monday unveiled further sanctions against Russian oil and gas, financial and defense sectors, bringing Canberra in line with the European Union.

Under the new sanctions there will be no new arms exports and no new exports for the oil and gas industry, Prime Minister Tony Abbott told the Australian parliament.

In addition, Russian state-run banks are not allowed new access to Australian capital markets and there will be no new trade and investment in Crimea.

So, yeah, let Australia punish Crimeans for their democratic choice. Democracy has no place in the Western world and must be eradicated at all cost.

this isn't the first time the West did this to mother russia did this.

Fixed it for you. You know the consequences of invading Russia - you'll be chased out and chased back all the way to your layer. Saakashvilian (an arrest warrant on him has been issued to Interpol now, by the way) Georgian troops have experienced it first hand, when they invaded South Ossetia, which was under Russian protection.
1847  Other / Politics & Society / Re: us is such idiot to hasten the demise of $ on: September 01, 2014, 05:47:26 AM
There are some errors in Ron Paul's statement.

For example, he suggests that Russia may find the dollar somewhat flawed as a way to hold value.  But look at the Ruple - 1/38 what it was worth in 1993 today.  That's why other nations preferred to get $ in trade, the $ held it's value better than the Ruple.

It's called "rouble".  Wink
When you compare to 1993, you have to take into account the "wild" 90s and the subsequent economic inertia of the 2000s, as Russia was systematically made dependent on the Western industry (thanks to some "brilliant" advising from the US economists and politicians in the Yeltsin's circles), on the imports, while its domestic production was equally systematically destroyed.
1848  Other / Politics & Society / Re: us is such idiot to hasten the demise of $ on: September 01, 2014, 05:42:04 AM

1849  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sanction against Russia for West-choreographed conflict in Ukraine on: August 31, 2014, 07:13:19 PM
There is an accurate comparison to the sanctions situation:

US and European sanctions against Russia can be compared to a terrorist (US/EU leaders) aboard on an airplane that stands firmly in the ground brandishing a grenade and demanding that the pilot (Russia) lands the plane, while the pilot tries to calmly tell the terrorist that the plane is already landed and there is no reason to kill everyone on board (Europe).

And a joke that I read recently:
- The West was saying that Russia is the gas station of Europe, but it turns out that it's Europe that is the farm of Russia.
1850  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 31, 2014, 07:05:11 PM
I think it best we let niothor live in his illusions. Russia can make its all, well, everything, but it best operates under stress. So these sanctions are to be thanked for kick-starting that dormant potential and waking Russia from its false state of security as an "equal partner" to the West, than now shows its true colours.
niothor is looking for personal vendetta  Smiley he soon will be joining his Romanian Panzer tank division and will liberate Moldova and Ukraine Smiley it is probably a good thing they keep him in Romania  Smiley

the problem with sanctions is that they will most certainly affect Russian economy, you can't be isolated and prosper, it is a global market

Love how you twist my posts.

Nemo can confirm that I have said at least three times I'm against the unification between Moldova and Romania in the current state both countries are.

Second , I Told you I don't care about who gets killed in Ukraine , the whole thing is so stupid and the guys holding the power there are beyond psychiatric help. Both rebels and Ukrainians.

And about my decision of joining the army if another russian invasion comes , don't you think it's normal? What will you do if your country gets invaded? Hide under you bed with your bitcoin wallet?

1. Yes, can confirm that.  Grin

2. Agree with you there, though the freedom fighters are more sane - they are defending their land.

3. If Russia invaded Romania, you'd be fully correct in joining the resistance, and I'd be the first saying to you to do it. However, as long as Putin in in power, you'd be waiting long for Russia to invade anything.

PS: Niothor, my return question, which is more likely to need answering in the current climate is: will you be joining forces when/if Brussels and the Belgians ask you to invaded Ukraine and possibly Russia under the pretext of preventing "Russian aggression" by the means of pre-emptive aggression? During WWII Romanian forces already invaded Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union, and were rather brutal in Odessa and around doing public executions of civilians in retaliation for partisan resistance, without much prompting from Germany. If we forget for a moment that Odessa was founded by Ekaterina, by Russia, and say it's Ukraine, will you (meaning Romanians) be again invading Ukraine and going to Odessa in tanks?

An interesting point: This year Ukraine already sold 90% more corn than last year, despite it having a harvest that is magnitude smaller. This indicates that ALL corn is being sold to get cash, not giving any thought to Ukrainians and that this is a recipe for famine this autumn/winter. Will it be again Russia saving their hide and sending humanitarian aid, because I don't see Europe sending free food to Ukraine?
1852  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the West gearing up to invade Russia once again? on: August 31, 2014, 05:28:26 PM
if western Russia, the Russian embargo will stop supplying gas to western

And in 3 months Russians will starve to death as oil and gas make 60% of their economy.
90% of medicine comes from the west , 70% of cars come from the west. 90% of passengers planes come from the west.
Half of the drilling equipment comes from the Netherlands and Germany.

Btw, I am not disputing your numbers outright - they might be close to the mark. I am calling for illusion your view that this is going to stay like this forever. The reason for these numbers lies in the "wild" 90s, when, thanks to the American minders, Yeltsin-headed bureaucracy was passing law after law hampering and closing Russian agriculture and industry - after all it was cheaper to by from the West, the US advisors said. This needs to change.

My official position is still this:

Let the Russians in Ukraine have self determination.

Let the Ukrainians have their own country, finally.

All the fighting should stop and people should speak.

Could not agree more. If only those warmongering fools sitting in Kiev could hear you. We all know that this war is only going to get worse. Serious international peace conference should be held as soon as possible, and Kiev must finally accept reality and start talking with Novorossiyan representatives. In my opinion, plan 'Z-4' which has been proposed by international community during the civil war in Croatia can be a good basis to achieve sustainable peace in Ukraine.

Main points of this plan, translated to Ukraine, would be:

1.) Novorossiya is single autonomous region within the Ukraine;
2.) Borders of Novorossiya are old official administrative borders of Donetsk and Luhansk regions;
3.) Novorossiya is not allowed to organize any political action which would be aimed at substantial change of its legal status in next 20 years;
4.) Novorossiya gets its own:
- president
- cabinet
- parliament
- legislation
- courts
- police force
- central bank
- currency
- symbols (flag, coat of arms, hymn)
- right to levy taxes
- right to enter into international agreements
- right to extract mineral resources and to administer industrial and agricultural infrastructure on its territory;
5.) Novorossiya is fully demilitarised - all heavy weaponry is removed;
6.) Ukrainian army may enter Novorossiya only if the President of Novorossiya asks for their presence;
7.) Citizens of Novorossiya may have dual citizenship - both Ukrainian and Russian;
8.) Sides to sign are Ukraine and Novorossiya. Guarantees and supervisors are Russia, Germany, France, Great Britain and USA.

Amen to this.

It is ****amazing !!!!!! You claim modern russia has no ties with the former red plague but yet:

Russia has as much ties to the red plague, as Georgia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus and later Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, etc. As a matter of fact, Russia had less statehood and less say in the running of its own affairs under the Soviet yoke, than the other republics. Notably Ukraine was one of the most influential republics in the post-Stalin time.

The map: Yes, proving my point and the current wording coming from Lithuania - Lithuania was always the warring, conquering, aggressive type. Maybe you should check the map of Kievan Rus?

As for Norway... and being in YOUR side... I'll be on the side of reason. In Hitler's Germany, there was a large portion of population that did not succumb to the madness and were working against Nazism. Elder Norwegians still remember Soviet Union liberating them town-for-town from the North and to Oslo and are thankful.

Now. An interesting aside on-topic.

Just read in the PS in this article:

US congress (lc deliberate -LR) just adopted a new, extremely provocative and bellicose law called “The Russian Aggression Prevention Act” or RAPA. I am wondering, when will the world adopt “The US Aggression Prevention Act”? I have been saying all along that it is up to us to tip the scale towards peace. I wouldn’t hope that Washington would choose peace of its own free will.

PS: It you won't allow yourself to be swayed by propaganda and be sent to the Eastern Front as cannon fodder on a trumped-up pretext of stopping "Russian aggression" (and liberating Moscow from Russians in much the same way as West-Ukrainians are being sent to "liberate" Donetsk and Lugansk from the Russian population), then I will be on your side...

This has just been brougth to my attention. I believe it is necessary to post the translation of this very graphic and disturbing, but extremely damning video. Please keep in mind that the site that has posted this video, ‘AnnaNews,’ keeps being deleted by YouTube for their unbending drive to tell the truth. However, it keeps coming back up. Watch the video asap, to avoid missing out in case of deletion.

Incidentally, we have discussed the Boeing 777 #MH17 false flag in the Inaugural Episode of Lada Ray Live show: Crimea’s Scythian Gold; MH17; Russian Sanctions – Global Consequences.

Below, I have translated the main points of the commentary by the independent journalist Alena Kochkina, who was at the site of the MH17 crash 20 minutes after the event and who took the pictures in above video.

Translation of the main points:

“These body parts, there was some kind of liquid coming out of them as shown – not blood. This is what it looked like by day; by night the liquid around bodies looked strangely green. Very little, or no blood. The bodies looked like they were stored somewhere. There was an odd concentration of bodies, seemed like they were concentrated in 2 parts of the plane. It was impossible to stand by one of the plane parts – the smell of chemicals was overwhelming, as if in a morgue. Body parts didn’t look like they came from living people. There were birds that got hit and died. I took their pictures – by contrast, their bodies looked like they were those of living things, a very different look compared to the human bodies. Again and again, stressing that there was no blood and people didn’t seem like they were just recently alive.”

They haven't used the name of the countries even once , they stated ... those were russian territories that are supposed to be ours.

Who is bringing back the past? Seems like the the Soviet Union is back at full power.

No they haven't - they stated the facts - those countries ARE former Soviet Republics. The keyword here is: former. By the way, politicians from those particular republics were pretty high up in the Soviet hierarchy, deciding the fate of both SU and Russia. So?

This has not been properly confirmed by Western Media, but information leaked. if it is true that will make things worse for Ukraine.

Europe wants no war it's you russians who can't really stay in your damn country for more than a decade.
You want another ww3 , probably you will get it.

And after all , didn't you say a while ago that you live in the EU? It's going to be funny for you , more than for me.

In the end , if Russia really wants war it will get it , and no matter how stupid it is probably i'll be back in the turret of a tank and end up dead just because some guy who has an inferiority complex (you know about his shoes don't you? ) wants to show that he is the lider or a "nuclear power".

Europe wants no war? Well, let me tell you, Russians want no war either. And unlike "some" Europeans and Americans, Russians stay in their own country. People who live in the South-East of Ukraine ARE Russian, who've leaved there for hundreds of years and just happened to be split off from Russia by an arbitrary decision by a known Russophobe - Lenin. What do you say about Norwegians sending tanks to Lithuania, Americans marching across Romania and Poland, Polish troops in Romania. Shouldn't all those countries stay damn put within their borders?

Alas, I see your posts deteriorating to the the level of stigma, russophobia and hatred as touted my the propaganda machine of the West. It's a pity seeing you succumbing to it. I noticed your reference to Putin, and one of those stigmas that sprung up in the Western forums/media. If you were still thinking clearly, you'd notice that the actions of Putin speak of the opposite, as what Western media wants everyone to believe. He's shown and is still showing a huge degree of calm, level-headedness and diplomacy in the face of overt aggressions (so far, luckily, only verbal) and provocations that are coming with an ever-increasing frequency.

I don't live in EU, I live in Norway, that voted TWICE against joining EU, but unlike Ukraine avoided a "democratic correction" in the form of genocide of people who don't want to be a part of EU.

Russia ends wars. Unless you invade Russia first, you'll not see Russian troops in your country, however badly Poroshenko and the Belgians want it.

Yes, Belgians. You force me to resort to the same form of generalisation that you do towards the Soviet Union. Brussels wants war and those crazy Belgians have occupied all Europe. At least during the Soviet time, Romani was an independent country, not part of SU. Now Romania is under the yoke of the Belgians, fully integrated in the EU.

You see how absurd the above can be. If Soviet Union = Russia, then EU = Belgium. I'll try to use this consequently in a few future posts, referencing your predisposition to generalisation. Wink

From prior experience it means that more vicious and bloody warfare on the civilians will follow shortly.

PS: Interesting to see the cloud of most popular tags on RIA: "Ukraine" and "United States" are on top, followed at some distance by "Russia" and "EU" and then by "Iraq".
