This is some scary crazy stuff...I've never seen a game suspended like this before I don't think  

 "Buffalo Bills defensive back Damar Hamlin suffered a serious injury during the first quarter of the team's Week 17 Monday Night Football showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Hamlin fell to the field after trying to get up from a collision with Bengals receiver Tee Higgins. Medical personnel worked on Hamlin for several minutes. ESPN reported that CPR was administered.

Hamlin was removed by ambulance. The game was temporarily suspended.

Hamlin, 24, is in his second NFL season with the Bills. He played college football at Pitt.

One of my biggest obstacles was simply trying to find a job in a city/state that had that sort of equal weight of being a good job but being an affordable place to live.  I finally took a leap of faith and took a job and moved to a city I was a bit unsure of.  I knew my job was potentially to be the best I've ever had, but I was leaving a good job in a big city with other jobs to fall back on if the new job didn't work out.  I couldn't be happier with my new role as well as the city I live in, which isn't a large city that costs a ridiculous amount to live in, so now I've found that happy medium between a good job and an affordable city...so my advice, take risks!

One of the first rules of bitcoin that was taught to me by Andreas Antonopoulos is to never tell anyone that you own bitcoin.  I know that I've broken that rule here on bitcointalk before, but I've never divulged in to how much I actually own nor would I ever nor should anyone ever!  It's no one else's business how much bitcoin you own, whether they admit they own 1 or 10, so leave that information to yourself.

This guy is a complete and utter moron and I can't believe that so many were willing to do business around him let along work in the upper ranks of his company without spilling the beans, which would have been the proper thing to do.  This is coming from the same guy who said reading books is stupid, so the fact that he tried to gamble his way back in to the black, is not shocking what so ever.  This guy better rot in a jail cell for a very long time.

I was going to add the Money Line bet but it looks like someone else already did.  This I'd say is a nice solid start for those whom are new to sports gambling and are looking to get in to sports gambling, but I would also add that the most important thing is knowing what you're doing as in knowing the game.  If you're just throwing up random bets, not knowing the game or the players, your liklihood of winning these bets is not very good. So a word of caution when it comes to just throwing up uneducated bets, it's likely to not end up in your favor.

Another crazy week of fantasy football.  I was not in any championship games today but did playin a 3rd place and a 5th place game so I paid slight attention to fantasy stuff going on and what a wild week. I feel like I can't remember this many players being hurt or under performing when it comes down to semi-finals and championship week games.

Fantasy aside- It's looking like the Chicago Bears will either have the #2 pick or quite possibly even the #3 pick in this coming NFL draft.  Already having a QB, it's exciting to think of the prospects of what they could either land that high or perhaps trade a few picks back for to load up on some extra picks and a super high end player.  One exciting thing when you're team sucks as bad as the bears do lol.

I found bitcoin sometime back in 2013 or 2014.  I first bought bitcoin some time in early 2015, I believe in January. I think that bitcoin was something like $200 when I first bought some.  I studied bitcoin for about a year plus before ever actually buying any.  This is something I really regret.  It's always wise to fully understand something before you invest in it, of course, but I waited way to long to pull the trigger and doing so when it comes to bitcoin.

Why isn't Steve Nash considered a respected coach ?  I don't really know how he is viewed / perceived by the league overall, but lets say he's not a respected coach, then I'd certainly agree with you that they need to hire someone whom is.  However, hiring a coach who will stay silent and just let the superstars play and do whatever they want, I don't think that is the right way to go about getting this team closer to a championship.  If they don't respect the coach, then that will ruin the entire teams chemistry.

Well I don't think that anyone gambles and expects to lose their money.  "Gambling for fun" means the same thing to myself as it does for you.  I typically gamble on sports games ( I will play games like roulette and poker, but I prefer to main only do so in person) which gives me a little "action" for the game.  It adds extra excitement and a reason to pay closer attention to a game I might not otherwise care to do so.  But, whatever amount I gamble/risk, I am always going in with the hopes of winning but the expectation that that money is now gone.  I won't be enough that will allow myself to get mad at myself.  That's where I set my limits.

Yeah this is pretty interesting and one thing that I absolutely agree with you on is the fact that this will hurt the governments bottom line of being able to collect tax revenue from gambling proceeds.  I'm sure in some ways it will help solve some problems, obviously using cash is largely anonymous and what not, and can allow illegal use of funds to be used for gambling, but on the other hand I'm with you..fuck the government, this shouldn't be allowed.

Yeah it's a really interesting little device.  I am sure there's some potential to hack in to some very poorly established bitcoin wallets that utilize very poorly established security, but I'm not tech savvy enough to know of any examples.

That's exactly what I was thinking from the get go.  The fact that many wallets require you to confirm physically and what not, would make this much more difficult to use as a hacking tool for bitcoins.  

I have also always wondered the same..I guarantee a lot of those credit card skimmers are placed on by employees and owners of the shops.

The crazy thing is that when you ask people why we study history, many can't give you a great answer.  The study of history is all about making sure that we learn from the past so that we don't make the same mistakes in the future.  That's literally what studying history is all about.

Tony Stark/Iron Man is a good movie to watch about learning from your mistakes.  Each new movie he kept updating his suit and fixing issues that came up in the old suites. He's a genius ( fictional of course) but being a genius you can really learn from their ways and his was all about never making a mistake twice..hence why he was always so successful.

Yeah as other have said they allow teams to keep playing so that theres then a final ranking at the end of playoffs/championship game.  Unfortunately I will remain in dead last place since 9th and 10th don't get to play in the playoffs at all.






Well there problem for you was having that issue where the draft wasnt starting properly and then your screen didn't update or whatever when the draft actually did start running live. 

But yeah, I thought I had a really good squad in this league, which I kinda did, but the lack of a top tier RB and TE really killed me.

It's nice to see my Chicago Bulls actually starting to play a little bit better.  I'm curious what people think about the Bulls and why there's such a big difference between their start last year and this year.  I know that Ball started with the team last year, but when he was out they were still very good, so who's to blame for their slow start to the year, the coach or the players?

Well I guess the positive thing is that you learned a valuable lesson. Sure it sucks to have lost that much money, but the biggest thing when you get kicked an knocked down, is to be able to get back up and keep fighting.

I don’t know how it popped up on my radar but it did a few days ago and did the same, had it in my bookmarks to come back to (story of my life lol). I have been keeping an eye out for them on Ebay but $250 is the best deal you can get atm.  However my inquiry was not about using it for bitcoin, it’s about wondering if this hacking tool could potentially pose a threat to any bitcoin wallets out there,  of course mainly NFC wallets. I’ve never used an NFC wallet so I don’t know the procedures and what not.
