1841  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lunarbets.eu - Bitcoin Sports Betting | New and Improved Website! on: March 31, 2017, 02:13:42 AM
I have just visited your website.Site graphics look amazing and promo video is also of great quality It is totally amazing.I will definitely join your platform. Are there any promos or some giveaway? You should open it in order to attract gamblers to your site
yes some sign up or at least initial deposit bonus is required for any site for their new members. If that opportunity will available then users will start the game for that bonus and then they will feel attracted to the site and will come again to play again and for that they will deposit from their wallet.
While bonuses are nice and all, you must understand that there is the risk some users try to abuse bonuses and since we are talking about a bitcoin casino that does not require your identification then it  is a lot easier for those players to try to abuse the system.
1842  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin business idea on: March 30, 2017, 02:48:03 AM
The idea that needs almost no investment is to begin a small freelancing job in bitcoin, you obviously need some kind of skill or knowledge but I think it is the safer option if you can pull it off.

That is not a business but a job and almost everyone is doing that thru signature campaign.

My idea is to start a room for rent paid thru bitcoin and managing thru blockchain. It will be easier to manage and get paid without getting tHe payment yourself. Just assign a btc address per room and clients will use that to pay you.
I never said it was a business, but if successful it could develop into one if you are able to manage your money well and instead of doing the job yourself you begin to hire people to do the job for you instead, so like you can see, almost anything can be converted ion a business with the right skills.
1843  Economy / Economics / Re: Will you invest in a MLM scam in early stage? on: March 30, 2017, 02:45:39 AM
Many MLM offer that promise us rich, I think this is reasonable because we must to hard work, I think there is nothing wrong with MLM, wrong is the person who like to abuse the system of MLM.
You will obtain a profit in MLM if you are on and have a lot of referrals but you should be able to fool a lot of people so that they would bargabung but I am sure this way would sin
Since we are basically talking about scammers what makes you think, that even if you were to drive lots of people there, they will honor the promises and the terms established to those that bring people to them? They are probably going to scam you as well.
1844  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin’s High Transaction Fees Open the Door for Altcoin Adoption? on: March 30, 2017, 02:43:17 AM
It should, but here in my country, nobody value all these Altcoins including Ethereum so to get value from them you need to convert them to Bitcoin before converting them to Bitcoin, I believe at least one of them will give Bitcoin run for its money
It is not people in your country don’t value those coins, the issue is that the market is small and in small markets people tend to stay in the most mainstream of the markets and in the world of crypto currencies that is bitcoin and nothing else.
1845  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Win using martingale system? on: March 30, 2017, 02:40:57 AM
i know most of us knew about martingale and we do use that in order to gain profits but we also aware that this same system is not safe in a long term period as we will be caught out of the blue and our winning streak will start to change up, do you have any settings of strategy to make it much worthy to use?

So for me, I believe in order to make a martingle system work you need to have a huge starting bankroll. It will not work if you have a small bankroll because once it hit a loss it will eventually loose all your winnings and your starting money.

Share it here if you have something there Cheesy

No way to win at martingale no matter the size of your bankroll or the size of your bets because it does not change the reason of why you are going to lose in gambling in the long run, and that is because the casinos give themselves an edge over the player.
Honestly martingale method still working in someways you can stay long in martingale method if you use it in the right way and the right place..
Like in sports betting is a good place where you  an use martingale as your method because sports betting is more easy to predict that the other games..
in dice game you can stay long if you use martingale with small amount bets and high bankroll.. but if you abuse it turn into lose because of greediness if you are not satisfied what you had..
Well, if you are a good sport bettor and you are able to overcome the edge of the house thanks to your knowledge then almost any strategy will give you good results, but using martingale in a game where there is no way to change that will guarantee you lose your money.
1846  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we Manipulate Bitcoin price? on: March 30, 2017, 02:39:15 AM
Every transaction moves the price but only the heavy hitters move it to any noticeable amount.

Exactly, big whales does and capable to make the price move like if they sale they hold coins for sure the value will gonna crashed down and so if they purchased and buy coins the value will rises again. We hope big whales continue to hold theirs and buy more.
if the user is increasing over time and bitcoin users have been very large then the great whales would be very difficult to make price changes even each of them to do something
As time passes and more people get into bitcoin then it becomes harder for the whales to manipulate the price as easily but at this moment there is no denying they still hold a tight grip on bitcoin since they still hold lots of coins.

1848  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When investing in a ICO on: March 29, 2017, 01:02:14 AM
At the ICO stage you generally cannot tell much if anything about how the development is going from their github or other code repository (assuming open source) so IMO its a bit more like gambling than investing at the ICO stage.

The dev team is the most important thing about the ICO, not the actual coin. The coin code can be changed, the dev team typically wont be.
This is important, most coins are similar to each other and there is no way to distinguish whether a coin is going to be successful or not but after some time and the continued development by the developers you will have an idea if the coin has a future or not.
1849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you can control your self when playing gambling? on: March 29, 2017, 01:00:02 AM
Whenever I decide to gamble I already have  a limit in my mind about how much I am willing to lose that day or if I get lucky the amount of money I’m willing to take home, So I make an effort to control myself and the way I gamble in a casino.

I predict that OP do that too but in reality even you have limitation to be follow as long as you lose and out of control. You can easily break it once you have a lot of money in your wallet. For me, the most effective way to avoid that situation is to segregate your money for gambling and savings and leave the private of your savings wallet address to the place that you can't easily access
That is one of the things the most successful gamblers do, they never mix the money needed for their expenses to mix with the money they use for gambling and to be honest that is the only way to do it not only in gambling but in business, trading or investing, you need to keep that money away from each other.
1850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: March 29, 2017, 12:57:44 AM
Yes of course they make sense you can't be like other's who have huge funds of course everyone has their own limits so normally what will happen if you deposited 10$   you will get 11$ while people who invested will get 110$. The return is same but you could only invest what you had so think in that way.
invest only the amount that you can afford to lose that's the general rules of investing, just like you've said mate its only differ with how much earnings will be collected or gained by those who invested much bigger with the same investment system  with you.
Yes that's true and luckily i do follow that most important rule of investing and haven't experienced much losses till now. But i hope you are also aware that in order to gain something or profit taking risk is really important

Investing what you can afford to lose was the general rule for hyip/ponzi. Don't apply it on normal investment because all bussinessman are ready to risk and know what will gonna happened if they lose their investment even though they can't afford to lose it. I do agree that risk is always there in avail to have a profit
I think this is a mistake we can only invest or trade what we can afford to lose while the possible profits of an investment make very alluring the investment of more money you should always think that things may not turn out as you expect them.
1851  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: March 29, 2017, 12:55:37 AM
Since the price has started the decrease a bit I believe the price would have to wait around Christmas to hit that value, because usually around new year and Christmas the price suddenly increases and then stays there for some time at the very least.
The price usually goes up during the holidays but there seems to be, at least at the moment and effort to keep the price of bitcoin low since there a lot of rumors that are fake regarding a fork and it is very transparent to me that this is a concerted strategy.
1852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you want hardfork? on: March 29, 2017, 12:53:07 AM
I don't want hardfork, I don't want to see bitcoin get clone. I don't really understand with the code, technical system, algorithm, or anything about that, i am not that man. I am just a bitcoin user that already comfortable with bitcoin right now and don't want bitcoin get compete. I see what happened with eth, etc. I just curious to ask why, why we need it? Because of raising fee?
We don’t need it, but in open source projects hard forks are common when the developers seems to have strong differences in the direction the project needs to go, and at this moment there are big differences about how bitcoin should resolve some of its issues.
1853  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin wobbles as traders turn to other cryptocurrencies amid uncertain future on: March 28, 2017, 01:59:30 AM
according to cnbc. in this article

The reality is if you look at https://www.cryptocompare.com/  Eth, dash, and zek, are down and BTC is up within the last few days.  ROLMAO!!

What you should be looking at is bitcoin dominance.
http://coinmarketcap.com/charts/#btc-percentage
Bitcoin accounts for 69% of total crypto market cap now, which is very low when you see its overall history. It was ~85% a month back.
That is low but at the same time, we need to accept that as bitcoin is unable to advance in some key issues then other coins are going to go up because they are able to fill a void that bitcoin leaves for the lack of consensus.
1854  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin worth? Welcome to discuss on: March 28, 2017, 01:56:20 AM
Someone has said bitcoin is of no value, in my heart I think they said is wrong, I always think that bitcoin is valuable, but I didn't understand what is the origin of the value of bitcoin, why accept more people, its value will rise? If you have other ideas, please discuss.

Yes it is not true that bitcoin has no value. If bitcoin does not have value why does the government considered it as a threat and wants to suppressed it. If bitcoin has no value why do people used it for transactions and work hard to earn it. A thing has a value if people give value to it even if others do not.

Exactly, this is how valuable and worth of bitcoin, it is being threat to some other country.
People are trying hard to earn it, bitcoin is totally worth earning because of its easiness to access and fast transaction unlike to other. In future we shall see more of bitcoins circulated and being used.
Since there is a limit in the amount of coins there are then that makes bitcoin valuable because people know there is a limited supply of the coin and that is never going to change because no one is going to accept a change in the protocol in that aspect.
1855  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: March 28, 2017, 01:53:51 AM
hello everyone.
i want to know what do you think about gambling bitcoin.. Does Beneficial or more losses?
Share your story here guys!  Grin Grin Grin

I know many religioins like Christianity and Catholocism do actually support gambling if it is done for FUN and not to gain assets. As most forms of gambling is done for fun, then gambling is right. If it is not done for fun then it may be wrong, but why would you do something if you don't enjoy it?
Yes it is, just like here in my country land based casino also online gambling was supported by the government. Even lottery outlet are legal here too that's why many poor people are depending their fortune in there to become one day millionaire. But most of the time those people who goes in gambling are doing it for fun. BUt for me its not beneficial financially.
Unless we do it for fun then there is not a lot in gambling since the chances are against us and there is no way to modify that so if you are not going to gamble with the objective of having fun then you are doing it wrong since the chances of winning are very low.
1856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Worst mistake in gambling on: March 28, 2017, 01:51:59 AM
The Biggest mistake in gambling is one who thinks or one who try's to become a millionaire from gambling, you lose more when you chase money.

Most people are tempted by those advertisements that claim that millionaire jackpots are possible in their casino. It is true but the house edge is there and people forget about it since they minds are blanked out by the temptations of free money and thoughts of being a millionaire. Like they say, money controls this world and not morals.

Even if you gamble in a responsible manner never chase your losses and always control your emotions.
Money rules the world but morals also act as a constrain for the people that have a strong belief system whether this derivates from a religion or a philosophy so it is not like morals are not existent since it is obvious they mold the behavior of people.
1857  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: March 28, 2017, 01:49:39 AM
In 2022, you mean in 5 years? Well, not by everyone, but I think most people from the rich countries will be using it. And also people from the poor countries will be keeping their savings in BTC since their local currencies will be much more unstable than BTC.
I think anything could be happen, although it seem atleast we need to wait more than 10 years to see its happen. I am sure that if global economy is getting worst, people will turn to use bitcoin.
i agree with you that bitcoin will use by everyone in coming 10 years in the future because bitcoin is the future currency and bitcoin getting much more popularity everyday and bitcoin getting more power and we can use bitcoin easily in everywhere around the world so bitcoin will be use as global currency in the future.
I think its already bitcoin are using by everyone not all people but every country has there are person who are using bitcoin.
And more users will come that can use bitcoin locally and online..
but i do not think that in present time all the people of the world are using bitcoin, to me i think not more that 1% people are using bitcoin and therefore we cannot expect that in 2022 all the people of the world will be using bitcoin.

That's right its hard to believe that each and every person will start using bitcoin in that short duration as bitcoin is still new to many people and it has not reached to each and every corner of the world and for that to happen it will really take a long time.
Unless the internet and smartphones become very cheap then bitcoin has no chance of being used by everyone in such a  short time frame, we don't have the infrastructure in place for bitcoin to be used everywhere especially in the poorest places on earth.
Phone and computer are becoming cheaper everyday so I think it is not a big issue bro
It may seem that way but for most of the people of the world, there is no way they can afford such a piece of technology, since they need to prioritize their expenses and it is very obvious you will choose food and water first rather than a mobile phone.
1858  Economy / Economics / Re: WILL BITCOIN BE USED BY ALMOST EVERYONE IN 2022? on: March 25, 2017, 03:47:47 PM

Smartphones are really really cheap. Even fishermen can afford smarrphones now and fishermen (and farmers) are the ones that get really low income in my country. And, the availability of smartphones to the mass will not change the standing of bitcoin because if it does, then mass adoption should have happened years ago when the smartphone industry started booming.

If everyone can afford to buy smartphones, then everyone has the ability to use bitcoins but not everyone will. Just like how we can all kill each other, but very little's doing that. I know it's two different things but you guys get my point.
When a significant amount of the population of the world lives with just a few dollars a day then it is unlikely bitcoin will ever reach that segment of the population which by the way are the ones in the most need to get access to bitcoin.
1859  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where is the beef? on: March 25, 2017, 03:45:29 PM
Quote
No actually nodes are ran by many other normal users and bitcoin service providers along with the miners but miners play important role in hard forks. After hard fork the network which will have majority of mining power will survive while the one which doesn't have much support from miners will ultimately die.

Thanks for that... Could we see repeat of Ethereum? Both ETH and ETC are still alive 10 month after the fork with sufficient hash power to support each branch. Ethereum brand has survived so far... I guess ... Nah, we should be fine.
The cases are different the Ethereum fork happened very early in the life of the coin a fork now for bitcoin could spell disaster, because even if at the end it works out many investors will leave and never come back .

This is certainly worrying me now. I can barely grasp the technical details. I'm one of those users who got into bitcoin just using local exchanges and use that to send money or buy bitcoins and hold them. I don't know now if this would cause my coins to lose value. I'm not surprised that some people have been selling off their coins. True some of those might be "whales" or whatever but there are also probably those who just find this all complicated and want out before they lose money.
The chances for a hard fork are low at the moment it does not seem like either side wants to get out but if at some point BU earned enough support then there is the chance they may try it anyway since they will feel they have a chance in that scenario of becoming bitcoin and not an alt.
1860  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you a bagholder? Which altcoins do you hold? on: March 25, 2017, 03:43:07 PM
i don't hold any coin besides those that get pumped. if there is one thing that a newbie should learn in this crypto trading, its to dump whatever they are holding until such time they need to back  because its being pumped.  else just dumped the altcoin you hold and watch the market which coin is pumped.
The problem is you cannot predict when a pump is going to  happen and that is why it is better to invest before the pump that way you get to ride the whole wave and earn even more because of it, if you wait you could lose your chance to earn with a coin.
