My betslip for this week's matches will most probably be like this:

- Fenerbahce - Rennes : Fenerbahce to win (2.62)
- PSV - Arsenal : PSV or draw (1.57)
- HJK Helsinki - Roma : Roma to win (1.35)

The total odd of the betslip is 5.55 which is very favourable for a multi I think. The most risky one is obviously Fenerbahce. Because they are at nearly the same level in the Europa League now. They both have 10 points but Fenerbahce are ahead thanks to having a better goal difference. Fenerbahce managed to steal one point from Rennes in France. I expect them to play much better in Istanbul and fight for the win. A win here is guaranteeing the lead for any side also.

It is like Arsenal have nearly guaranteed the lead mathematically. I don't think Arteta would give too much time for his important players to play here. It is important for PSV to get as many points as possible because they are still under the threat of Bodo/Glimt. I can't trust their win maybe but I don't think they will lose this one.

Roma should be able to defeat HJK Helsinki easily. Depending on the result of Ludogorets - Betis, this win might help Roma a lot for the second place in the group.

Inter - Plzen match will have finished before Barcelona - Bayern Munich match starts. This means that Barcelona's performance against Bayern Munich can change a lot depending on the result Inter will get.

It is very obvious actually. Inter shouldn't have any problem about destroying Plzen in Giuseppe Meazza. This will guarantee their qualification for next round. If Inter win then there will be no reason for Barcelona to fight hard against Bayern Munich. Xavi wouldn't like to tire his main players so much for nothing. Because there will be no Plzen threat below and they won't have any chance left in the Champions League also. Then Bayern Munich might even get a win to guarantee their lead. So I think this is a match that people should be very careful while betting on.

Maybe Marseille are far away from the leader and they won't be able to stay in the title fight most probably. It is already a gap like nine points with PSG in the end.

On the other hand, this doesn't mean of course that they can't even qualify for the Champions League. Big teams have this kind of hard times in some part of a season. Marseille have had this before the first half of the season. As long as they start pulling themselves together soon there is no problem. They still have a long season ahead of them to rise in the standings once again. I still see them as the biggest contender for the second position honestly. Teams like Lorient and Lens wouldn't maintain a good form forever. In addition to that I think Marseille are generally more reliable than the other big teams of the league (except PSG of course  ).

Napoli ile ilgili son zamanlarda transfer dedikoduları dönmeye başladı. Cristiano Ronaldo ile hala ilgilendikleri ve ocak ayında bir transfer girişimlerinin olabileceği söyleniyor.

Fakat şöyle de bir şey var ki Napoli tarafından daha önce bu söylentiler ile ilgili bir açıklama gelmişti. En sonki transfer döneminin son günlerinde gelen açıklamada Ronaldo ile ilgilenmediklerinin altını çizmişlerdi. Zaten ellerinde Osimhen gibi çok yetenekli ve genç bir forvet var. Ronaldo sanıyorum ki ilk 11'de oynamak isteyecektir ama Osimhen'den formayı alması oldukça zor. Sırf Şampiyonlar Ligi'ndeler diye yedekte beklemeye de razı olmaz diye düşünüyorum. Ronaldo'ya özel çift forvetli bir taktiğe de geçmezler çünkü mantığı yok. Mevcut sistem ile hem ligde hem de Şampiyonlar Ligi'nde harika iş çıkartıyorlar.

There is a big decline in Besiktas' performance for some weeks. They won only once considering the last five match weeks.

Besiktas really seemed like they were going to win against Hatayspor. Weghorst scored already in the 32nd second of the match. Weghorst was nearly winning a penalty for his team also but he was offside by a small margin. Maybe things could have been much different in this match if he wasn't offside and they scored a penalty. Hatayspor made a shocking comeback and won 2-1. Kaan Kanak's winning goal in the 90th minute was really impressive also. Ersin couldn't even react to that shot. Besiktas are still unable to defend their opponents well and this is a big obstacle for them to reach the title this season.

Eternal Fire didn't start good to this tournament. It looks like they aren't aware of how important tournament this is now. Because the grand final qualifiers are directly going to the biggest Elisa tournament which has a prize pool like 200k dollars.

The first map was Dust2 which was a very favourable one for Eternal Fire even though it was ex-Finest's pick. But Eternal Fire lost the map by 16-14. They picked Inferno and I assume they would win here. Even the decider is in favour of them because it is Vertigo. I still expect them to make the comeback and win by 2-1. Their next opponent in the semi-final is very likely to be GamerLegion. They are a much more challenging team to beat. Because they made big difficulties for some top tier teams in some previous tournaments. But I think with an improved morale they can manage to eliminate GamerLegion and qualify for Elisa Masters Espoo 2022.

I don't see any reason for Napoli to sign Ronaldo in January. Because they already have Osimhen as their main striker and they are very contented with his performance. There are two strikers in the subs like Raspadori and Simeone also. I guess Ronaldo wouldn't like to wait in the subs at Napoli also. It would be interesting to see him being okay to that just because of being part of the Champions League.

I believe that Ronaldo wants to go a team that is not only competing in the Champions League. But also he wants to be a regular starting eleven player. Actually the problem at Manchester United were like solved before. But after Erik ten Hag started to make him wait in the subs for the Premier League matches things started changing again. ten Hag even waits for Ronaldo to apologize now to be able to enter the starting eleven.    In this case Ronaldo must be even more eager to leave.

It is like a dream for Ajax to qualify for next round from now on. They are already six points behind Liverpool and there is no way they are closing this gap up with them. As long as they don't defeat Liverpool by at least a two-goal difference it is already near impossible for Ajax to make it. Because head-to-head statistics are prioritized in the group stage. As Ajax have a terrible goal difference statistics in the group they don't have any other choice than doing that.

Liverpool are still inconsistent recently as they lost to even Nottingham. After defeating Manchester City and West Ham both they seemed to be promising first. Anyway their recent performance in the Champions League is really impressive. I don't think they will lose to Ajax. Napoli destroyed Ajax here as you can remember. Maybe it wouldn't be the same for Liverpool but they would surely make use of Ajax's defensive weaknesses and get at least one point.

After seeing that Galatasaray - Alanyaspor match I can say one thing comfortably. Galatasaray can't win the league title this season as long as they keep up this performance level especially in defense I mean. As there is no other spot other than the 1st place for the Champions League it looks like they won't be able to join it again.

Galatasaray started this match really good actually. They were quite dominant and scored two goals later also. Everything was going great until that red card. After that the team started to be in a big trouble. They should have still been in control honestly. Because they already made their opponents accept their game. Playing with one less players shouldn't have affected them very deeply in defense especially. Above all else, they still had a 2-0 advantage but still couldn't secure a win. Emin Bayram was actually close to scoring the winning goal but he wasted a huge chance.

It looks like PSG are targeting to finish the season very early. The closest teams to them in the standings are Lorient - Lens duo. I don't think that any of these teams are capable of fighting with PSG for the title for a long time. The teams they can do this aren't having a good time in this season I'm afraid. Marseille seemed promising on the first weeks. But now they are declining in position by losing matches many times in a row.

The other teams that can do this normally are like Lille, Monaco, Lyon and Rennes. But none of them is close enough to PSG to be able to stay in the title competition. The league gets bored very early like every season and this decreases the attention level of people to the Ligue 1. This is the biggest factor why this league doesn't get enough investment from anyone.

This goal saved Manchester United one point. 

It was a really great header by Casemiro in literally the last minute. Kepa had a great match and he was nearly saving that header also but he couldn't prevent the ball from passing the goal line by a small gap. McTominay caused a penalty which was a really unnecessary one as he pulled a player down during a corner. He could have caused his team to lose this match. Antony found an absolute goal chance before Chelsea's goal but wasted it. Maybe things would have been much more different for Manchester United. They really deserved a win in this match with a high level of performance but they couldn't do it.

Union Berlin bence Leipzig'in yakın geçmişte yaşadığı sezonun bir benzerini yaşayacak. Yani uzun bir dönem boyunca Bayern Münih ile şampiyonluk yarışında kalmayı başarıp bir noktadan sonra kopacak. Aslında Bayern Münih'in bu sezona girişi çok kötü olmuştu ama son haftalarda kendilerine gelmeye başladılar. Dortmund deplasmanında berabere kalsalar da Freiburg'u 5-0 Leverkusen'i ise 4-0 ile geçtiler. Forvetleri yok derken gol yağmuruna tutmaları bir mesaj gibi oldu.

Bu sezon bence Bayern Münih yine bir noktadan itibaren ligin kontrolünü tamamen eline alacak. Kadro kalitelerine bakıldığında normal şartlarda Dortmund'un onlarla rekabet edebilecek en yakın olduğunu tespit edersiniz ama iş performansa gelince pek de iyi durumda değiller. İyi bir başlangıç kabusa dönüştü onlar için bir anda.

Liverpool got their second win in a row against West Ham. Now they are going to play the opening match of this week against Nottingham away.

I expect this winning streak to go up to three matches very easily. Liverpool have improved their defending significantly for two weeks. Now they need to focus on scoring more goals in a match that's all. Because they dominated the West Ham match but it ended by 1-0 anyway. The Liverpool we know should be able to score multiple goals in most of the matches and keep the conceded amount at minimum. This is the only way they can enter the race with the teams at top later on. Nottingham are one of the disappointing teams after making so many transfers. They have 0 defending and Liverpool should be tearing them apart tomorrow.

We see many familiar faces from F2 in FP1 session now. Stroll is one of the impressive drivers of this session but most of the drivers don't push much in practice sessions though. Even if Leclerc had a chance to win this Grand Prix he doesn't have anymore after getting this huge grid penalty. 

It seems like Ferrari don't care about Leclerc's race for the second place in the driver standings. They just want to make the car ready for next season by continuing to implement their tests on the car with new changes. If I'm not wrong the reason why the 5-grid penalty turned to starting from back of the grid is that Ferrari changed more than 3 elements in the engine. This would be another race dominated by Red Bull as usual.

Marseille have been on a losing streak for two weeks and they need an immediate win to pull themselves together. The PSG defeat was understandable for sure but the Ajaccio one wasn't at all. They need to make up for their bad form and meanwhile they have a very tough matchup against Lens tomorrow night.

Lens defeated Marseille two times in this stadium recently. They actually have an advantage psychologically. But Marseille need this win very much no matter what. I think it is time for them to break a leg against Lens here and get the win. Marseille win has a 2.18 odd for their win and I think it is worth giving a chance.  

Vitality's losing to Astralis today was a really big surprise. Astralis actually seemed really vulnerable against Eternal Fire and I thought that Vitality would finish them off. However things went really interesting in the series. Vitality won on Nuke by 16-12 first and captured a 1-0 advantage already. However Astralis' comeback was really incredible. Dust2 and Inferno were successful maps for Vitality also but Astralis defeated them 16-9 and 16-8 anyway.

blameF has been one of the impressive players at Astralis these days. He played a huge role in the win on Inferno by 30 frags. 138.0 ADR was a really impressive statistics of him. I don't really know what went wrong with Vitality today. Actually BLAST Premier is also among the biggest tournaments so I would have expected them to fight harder than this.

Görünüşe bakılırsa Leicester nihayet ligdeki 2. galibiyetini almaya yaklaşıyor gibi duruyor. Daha ilk yarıdan evlerinde Leeds'e karşı 2-0 üstünlüğü yakalamayı başarmışlardı. Skoru ikinci yarıda şimdilik iyi koruyorlar. Son iki maçtır defansif anlamda takım ilerleme kaydetmiş gibi gözüküyor. Hücum yönü zaten hala kuvvetli bir takım Leicester. Bu galibiyet belki bir ivme kazandırır ve kendilerini düşme hattından kurtarırlar.

Bu sezon Leicester büyük hayal kırıklığı nedense. Tabi Fofana gibi önemli bir defans oyuncularını kaybettiler ama sırf bu yüzden bu kadar kötü oynuyor olamazlar. Ocak ayına kadar biraz performans artışı görürsek yeni birtakım transferler yaparak belki de sezonun ikinci yarısında iyice toparlanabilirler.

Chelsea seem to be interested in signing Bellingham and Declan Rice now. But I assume that they will go for signing only one of these players. However these players don't play in the exact same positions actually. Declan Rice is more of a defensive midfielder. But he does a good job when he has a chance in the central midfield also (1 goal in 2 matches as CM).

Bellingham is already a fascinating central midfielder and he is playing attacking focused which would be very useful for Chelsea. He has already got 5 goals and 2 assists in 15 matches. On the other hand, signing Bellingham would be a much more difficult task for Chelsea because they won't be the only team after him surely. We might see Real Madrid joining the race and then Chelsea wouldn't stand much chance to sign him. I guess he wouldn't prefer Chelsea to Real Madrid. 

Barcelona have already finished the match seemingly. They scored 3 goals in only 9 minutes after leaving the first 30 minutes behind. Villarreal couldn't resist them much and this was no surprise. We might even see an enormous goal difference if Villarreal give up on their defense from now on. There is a significant drop in Villarreal's performance these days and maybe it is related to having many missing players now. Otherwise they started the season really good actually.

Lewandowski seems to have improved his performance as he has scored two goals already. It would be nice to see a hat-trick from him while there is a big chance. He really wants to stay in the fight with Haaland for Golden Boot but the season is long. It feels like he won't be able to score more than Haaland this season.

Maybe not mathematically but Arsenal have guaranteed the lead in the group if we look at it from a logical aspect. Because there is no way PSV are closing the gap of 5 points in only 2 matches. Maybe PSV might revenge this loss in their home match against Arsenal. But Arsenal should be able to defeat Zurich on the final match week and qualify as the leader anyway.

Arsenal were in control from the start to the end in this match. PSV were able to find only a few goal attempts and couldn't score. But the score was still risky of course as Arsenal won by 1-0. Despite that incredibly high dominance Arsenal couldn't score more goals. We saw more usual starting eleven players entering in the second half but the score still didn't change. On the other hand Arsenal got what they wanted and that's what matters now.
