I've been doing some calculations and at the moment it seems that nobody is near ROI with this miner.
If you received it on Jan 1 2015, and you had FREE ELECTRICITY and you sold all your BTC during that price spike on Jan 25 2015, you would have made a profit of $165 till todays date.
But its rare that everybody sold on Jan 25th at ~310BTC/USD and rare that most have free electricity.
Taking the average price using moving averages of the last few weeks and average power rates you would have made only $60 to date with this miner. Why did they sell it at such a high price?

Issues with hosting. Will be resolved ASAP. All balances are safe, and have nothing to do with hosting.
Perfect. That is good to hear and very reassuring. People were panicking like crazy.

Well considering I can get the same hashing power from Spondoolies for $366 per unit and get free shipping I was hoping you could undercut them by just a bit and we could have a deal. Note it takes 2 SP20 to equal the hashing power of a full neptune. As for shipping you think it would be more than $200?
To get $366 per unit you would have to order 15 of them for $5500.00. The price is around $500 each for an SP20.

I think its a fair price. I am not in the market for one but what you should do is really put it up on eBay. You will get top dollar for it there.

Did you keep the miners outside? Because the PSU looks very dusty

its down already couple of weeks, everytime i go on it its down...probobly closed
No you are wrong. It was up like 12 hours ago. Maybe something wrong with your internet connection. I can verify, the site was up some hours ago, and I was trading yesterday. Yes I wasn't trading but I was on the website during the London session yesterday. Everything was fully functional.

It seems both BinaryBase and BattleBase are down.
Can someone alert the admin
We keep getting this error
Heroku | No such app There is no app configured at that hostname. Perhaps the app owner has renamed it, or you mistyped the URL.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=377770Last Active: January 10, 2015, 03:34:14 AM I know this admin very well. He seems like a nice guy and the sites were up for many many months. No reason for him to scam us. i think admin can be busy in other thing in real life and have no much time to check online activities, maybe when he will have time then can fix that issue. Yes he is either busy in real life or sleeping if he is in Asian. Hopefully he is not on Chinese vacation

For 'native' S2 0.4 Wt/Gh means that efficiency has improved twice...
Nearly 3 times. The two that I have consume 1100-1200w for just over 1TH, so they're basically 1.1w/GH But they have other equipment right now thats 0.5W I highly doubt that it will be cost effective to upgrade the S2.

Doesn't seem to work. In the stats it says Extranonce subscription is not enabled.
I upgraded to BFGMiner 5.0 and tried the
stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3333/#xnsub#skipcbcheck stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3333/#xnsub stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3333#xnsub <--- says its dead this way
Anyone have a Jupiter and sucessfuly running ?
Sorry, we've given you the wrong port, it's 3334 for SHA (3333 is for Scrypt), that would be: stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3334/#xnsub#skipcbcheck or stratum+tcp://stratum.westhash.com:3334/#xnsub#skipcbcheck Yes I tried with the 3334 port and its the same. It hashes and everything but the extranonce isn't enabled and after a few hours it really slows down the speeds.

Right now its hard to say what we will all get. The admin really should of posted more details.

This is actually pretty cool and surprisingly why don't all the dice sites have it.
But yes the huge drops are due to margingtale.

I predict that when and IF the site goes back online. Many will withdraw their money and go somewhere else. This is taking WAY too long.

I think in the future it would be best if these downtimes were planned ahead of time. Or maybe do it in a time zone when everybody is sleeping

Dont buy these miners. You wont make money.

Well, I am pretty sure I have a great scenario for Bitcoin mining since I don't pay for electric. All of my bills are included in a one month price, which is fairly cheap, as well... I have a Rockminer R-Box (older model) that mines at 30-34Gh/s overclocked a little.
Cheap power and that is all you run? If my power was flat rate, one fee every quarter, I would be smashing it. At this point in time, if you bought say 3 S5 miners and ran them I still think you could make a couple BTC and sell the miners without a loss. You currently cannot buy S5 miners from Bitmain but you can buy them second hand for $100 more. Pretty confident there are large sales of Antminers straight from Bitmain for people to resell at a higher price once Bitmain is out. If you don't pay for electricity, of course you will profit heavily from mining. No you won't because you have to pay for the equipment.

If CAVirtex is truly a legitimate operation, then CAVirtex needs to perform the following actions :
1. Send out an email to all clients informing them about the planned closure. It's not acceptable to simply post a message on your website or twitter. You need to make reasonable efforts to communicate this major event. This should take about 2 minutes (literally) to implement an email broadcast to all clients ...
2. Communicate a plan of how/if/when CAVirtex will re-enable BTC/LTC withdrawals. While CAVirtex indicates that disablement of withdrawals is "temporary" there's no indication of when BTC/LTC withdrawal will be re-enabled.
3. Communicate a plan of how CAVirtex will return BTC/LTC funds to clients. While CAVirtex indicates BTC/LTC funds will be returned to the address provided in the user preferences, there's no mention of when, or how BTC/LTC funds can be transferred.
4. Communicate a plan of how CAVirtex will return CDN funds to clients. While CAVirtex indicates that disablement of withdrawals is temporary, and that CAVirtex will "communicate" with clients that hold balances after March 25th, there is no explicit statement of how/when/if CDN funds will be returned. Also what happens if clients are not even "verified" yet ... I suspect folks will have a hard time giving you ID documents given the current situation.
5. Elaborate what happens after March 25th. Statements made by CAVirtex are very open ended and do not articulate what happens after March 25th for remaining balances. I don't think it give us the warm-fuzzy's that CAVirtex will communicate with us after March 25th ...
If CAVirtex is "solvent" and has maintained 100% reserves to payout client balances it should have nothing to hide at this point. Please communicate a detailed plan, and provide regular updates if parts of this plan are "to-be-determined" (like reactivating withdrawals for example!).
Yes I agree with you. Why didn't they send out a mass email.
