18561  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: August 17, 2017, 04:54:06 AM
Drinking too much alcohol it can damage your brain, lungs, kidney, liver ect. Sometimes people think that alcohol helps them copes with difficult situation and emotions but the facts is drinking alcohol is it will range a mental health problems including depression, anxiety  and risk taking behaviour. Knowing that alcohol is part of our life we should know our limit and drink wisely.

Moderate amount of alcohol intake could prevent some diseases like diabetes. But if your drinking habits increases, expect to many diseases will come to your body like stroke and heart attack. So we should limit the drinking of alcohol because it is for our own sake.

There is no concrete proof that alcohol prevents diabetes. It depends on which researcher you quote and which methodology he used for his study. All I can say is that in moderate quantities, alcohol seldom causes health damage. I will not go ahead and say that the consumption of alcohol is beneficial for the human body.
18562  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Pres. Duterte complete his term? on: August 17, 2017, 04:52:01 AM
yes of course he will complete his term but still not drug free the drugs are still there only for little fish

It is not possible to completely eliminate the drugs, especially in a large country such as Philippines which is having a population of more than 100 million. But from the ground reports it is clear that the drug usage has gone down drastically.
18563  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do islam hates people? on: August 17, 2017, 04:50:34 AM
Islam not hates people ISIS and Islam Enemies is hates people
The world is already set against Muslims and Islam, so it will not turn back. I understand that all Muslims are not to blame for what is happening, but many of their leaders are responsible for the situation that has developed in the Circle of Hatred for Muslims. That's why Muslims can hate all of humanity.

You need to ask why the world has turned against the Muslims? There will be a reason for that. And I disagree with the second part of your post. Ordinary Muslims should be blamed for not disassociating themselves from the radicals. You can't just blame the leaders.
18564  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Health and Religion on: August 17, 2017, 04:47:16 AM
^^^ I really doubt how Kim Jong Un is going to react to the spread of Christianity in his country. In the neighboring South Korea, Christianity has become the dominant religion, replacing Buddhism. Even the president of South Korea (Moon Jae In) is a Christian.
18565  Other / Off-topic / Re: What will the world be like in 100 years on: August 17, 2017, 04:44:18 AM
The world will become a world full of technologies that have so many advantage and disadvantages. Those new creations of humans will sure affect our mother nature. And the result will be a world for humans only and not for the other living things and creature that makes the world wonderful will be gone.

The technological advance has made the human life more easier. And this will continue in the future as well. Even for nature, the advance of technology has been mostly positive. For example, we no longer need to cut down trees to producer paper, as the books are mostly in ebook and kindle format now.
18566  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you pay taxes on your crypto currency? on: August 17, 2017, 04:41:17 AM
Nope. Till now I haven't paid taxes on my income from crypto-currency. I have sold a few of my coins during the past 3 years, but I used Localbitcoins and never paid any taxes over the gains.
18567  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: August 17, 2017, 04:35:03 AM
His penis should be cut off.

That would be too short, and everything will be over in 5 minutes. We need some punishment, which makes the rapist suffer for the rest of his life. What about this? After his penis is cut off, he should be sent to some coal mine, where the rapist must be used as a slave laborer. He will work for 14-hours a day and any wages will be paid directly to the victim.
18568  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do Atheists hate Religion ? on: August 17, 2017, 04:32:14 AM
Because they think that being religous is being agressive.
For example muslims and Terrorism, christians and cross wars.

And what is wrong with that belief? A lot of the conflicts around the world are of religious nature. Look at the recent conflicts in Syria, Iraq and Yemen. Various Islamic and Christian factions are fighting each other.
18569  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is God male or female? on: August 17, 2017, 04:30:40 AM
The gender itself is not important. What is the most important is that you always keep on believing that God is good, true and that HE truly exist in all of us.

For us Hindus, even the species is not important.  Grin

There are a total of 330 million gods in Hinduism. Most of them are in the human form, including male, female and even transgender. But there are also gods in the shape of elephants, monkeys, serpents, and eagles.
18570  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Up Like Trump on: August 17, 2017, 04:26:17 AM
I liked his response to the Charlottesville incident. He blamed both the sides, rather than just blaming the alt-right. He was absolutely correct when he said that it is not proper to blame just the right-wing supporters, when the initial violence and provocations were unleashed by the left-wing loons.

I am very far from a fan of Trump, and I don't align myself with the alt-right whatsoever, but I was impressed by Trump's statements today acknowledging antifa "protesters" as a major source of violence. The media will crucify him for that, so that takes a lot of guts.

Not just the media. But almost everyone inside the GOP has distanced themselves from Trump's comments. Perhaps they are afraid that they will lose votes from the Hispanics and the African Americans. But they need to realize that these groups very rarely vote for GOP anyway.

What Trump said is 100% true. It is not proper to blame the alt-right, when the trigger was done by the Antifa goons.
18571  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Renewable Energy on: August 16, 2017, 04:58:17 AM
It is truly the main factor why aternative sources of energy are not so used often. It is both renewable energy it's the technology that costs a lot not the energy created by it. Some countries already have applied this kind of technology and hope that other countries will follow.

For countries such as Iceland, generating electricity from the renewable sources is rather easy. They have a lot of hot springs and geysers and which can be used for electricity generation. But the other countries are not that lucky.
i think every manufacturing company that does renewable energy sources would account for those factors. There a lot of researches now that probably could apply to either the cold countries using winds are the countries that are exposed to much sunlight.

Wind energy is getting more affordable now, but the solar panels continue to remain out of reach for the vast majority of the people. The disadvantage with solar panels is that they require constant maintenance, especially if the dust level is high.
18572  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: August 16, 2017, 04:53:00 AM
But being a transgender is a choice.
Really? I didn't choose to be male. Did you choose to be female? How? When?

I was born as a female, and I have never complained about my gender. I am happy being a female. That would be the case with 99.99% of the people around the world. Only the mentally handicapped would complain about their gender.
18573  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Sospected Ukrainian Terrorists footage on: August 16, 2017, 04:51:22 AM
OK.. let me analyze. The Russians are claiming that there was an infiltration of Ukrainian militants, and Ukraine is denying any knowledge about the same. So what should be the next step? Russia should parade the POWs (if there are any) and publish the identities of the dead militants. Have they done that already? I don't think so.
18574  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Population on: August 16, 2017, 04:48:17 AM
What is the best solution to resolve our problem in overpopulation?

Have you watched The Purge or Hunger Games? I have a feeling that in the near future that there will be a new horrifying rule to reduce our overpopulation. I know its ridiculous but when I think about it I know that some wealthy people or secret organization will be forced to do that when they feel that the food or natural resources aren't sufficient enough to supply us all.

Currently, the natural resources around the world are not enough to feed 7.5 billion people. That's why we have poverty and starvation all around us. And the worst part is that even now, the human population is growing by close to 2% per year.
18575  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PRESIDENT DUTERTE and his WAR on the DRUGS in the PHILIPPIN on: August 16, 2017, 04:45:58 AM
I can't support this campaign 100%, due to the number of deaths (close to 6,000). But I should admit that there were few choices around and Duterte did what needs to be done. Therefore I support him in his war against drugs.
18576  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Poll: Most dangerous country in the world at the moment on: August 16, 2017, 04:45:01 AM
I would chose Syria (the ISIS ruled part) over any other country. The ISIS is not like any other terrorist organization. The barbarism and depravity shown by them puts even the Nazis of Germany to shame.

18578  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about the death penalty? on: August 16, 2017, 04:31:36 AM
Death penalty is needed in a country where there are lots of criminals such as: rapists, murderers and etc. They deserved to be killed because if they will stay alive they might have more victims.
Well it depends in the case of the murderer, with a good program to heal his mind and reintegrated him in the society is efective it will be good for labors and jobs for the goberments. If he is a sociopath he deserved the death penalty.

Ordinary criminals can be re-integrated in to the society. But not hardcore criminals such as rapists and murderers. They need to serve prison time for their crimes. And if the crimes are very brutal, then they deserve the death penalty.
18579  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Christianity is Poison on: August 16, 2017, 04:29:31 AM
There are really only 2 religious groups that are acting like dicks... christians and muslims

Muslims are not creating dozens of anti-atheist threads... christians are

That doesn't mean that Muslims are any more tolerant of atheism when compared to the Christians. Recently, a blogger in Saudi Arabia was sentenced to death for apostasy. He was an atheist, so the clerics ruled that he had committed apostasy.
18580  Other / Off-topic / Re: Jesus Christ is comming back here on: August 16, 2017, 04:27:12 AM
Well yes. Since Jesus is the sun he will be back in the morning. Since i watch the sunrise by a lake I will get to see Jesus walk on water.
I do not believe that Jesus really exists, you see only your fantasy or your spiritual beliefs.

Even if you believe the pro-Christian historians, Jesus Christ died sometime around AD 32. That was it. He was a normal human being, who got crucified. And what happened after that is pure myth. There was no rebirth or resurrection.
