I remember that one trader accurately predicted the price $174 for Ethereum in July of this year when ETH costed about $450. He probably used technical analysis and said that it is an attractive price to buy. Almost all were amazed and reproached him for his excessive negative prediction. But in fact, the ETH price has fallen exactly to these levels in this September. Now Ethereum is $230, and it's nice.
Honestly, I do not dare to call this price the bottom of the chart. I assume that the ETH price can go down below $174 in the future, because currently Ethereum has no strong support factors. I suppose that the ICO teams will soon cash out their coins, and the next huge dump on crypto exchange markets could lead Ethereum even to $150.

Просмотрел код https://github.com/3s3s/opentrade скажу что очень даже не плохой вариант биржи, по сравнению с теми что уже года 3-4 не обновлялись, то тут вижу активность на git чуть ли не каждые сутки. Да, действительно, это живой и развивающийся open-source проект. Уже 7 участников на Гитхабе. Симпатичный дизайн биржи. Судя по первому посту этой темы, осталось доделать только API. |

После оптимизации с памятью хешрейт слабого ноутбука с 4Гб оперативки стал примерно 60Mh/s (до этого был 200Kh/s)
Это значительная оптимизация. Наверно, раньше код был написан некорректно. Вариации алгоритма улучшающие защиту от изменения базы и тем самым улучшающие вероятность полного перебора:
-Ввести более двух хешей (ухудшается вероятность поиска в одном интервале для GPU-майнера)
Я так понимаю, что для снижения вероятности нахождения в одном интервале можно использовать одновременно не два, а три и более хешей. Каково оптимальное значение количества используемых хешей для получения значительной форы CPU перед GPU? |

As far as I know, one new project plans to create in November this year a fork based on the blockchain of Bitcoin Cash. The new crypto currency likely will not support the SegWit technology and will have some advantages over BCH.
I think that currently Ethereum has no any obvious factor for growing, thus BCH can be a more profitable asset than ETH, because you can get free and airdropped coins in the new crypto currency if you keep your coins in a cold wallet on the blockchain of Bitcoin Cash.

In 2017 I was beware of the Ripple would dethrone Bitcoin. This crypto currency looked so promising. But then XRP has fallen deep. I've heard that Ripple is mostly traded on South Korean crypto exchange markets, so the XRP price is so volatile by 25% per day. Yesterday Ripple overcame Ethereum and was rated 2nd by capitalization.
Now XRP costs $0.5 and its capitalization is about 21 billions USD. If Ripple crosses $5, its capitalization will be $21G * ($5 / $0.5) = $21G * 10 = 210 billions USD. In this case Bitcoin which has a capitalization of $112G, will indeed be dethroned.

Has anybody had success in getting a token listed on Etherdelta? I heard anybody can do it and its supposed to be incredibly easy to do, but I just can't quite seem to get it to work...
There is no need to list tokens on Etherdelta. You can buy or sell any ERC20-token. Just select "Other" in the upper left corner, paste the ETH-address of the token's smart contract and click the "Go" button. I disagree with OP. I often use Etherdelta to trade my tokens. Recently developers changed the design and this exchange looks pretty good. The funds deposited on the Etherdelta smart contract can't be transferred or stolen without the Ethereum private key. The bid/ask orders are shown in the "tumbler" not quickly, but I notice that Etherdelta is getting better month by month. |

I will say it's a mere speculations, No knows for sure if that is going to happen or not.
For me I think that would happen if bitcoin ETF is been approved by the SEC before December.
If the bitcoin ETF doesn't get approved before December then I don't think it will go high
This is because most of the investors in the space now are losing money already, so we need fresh investors into the space.
In September the US SEC has already rejected the Bitcoin ETF, so I don't dream of their approving this application in December 2018. Perhaps the new circumstances will be around the crypto currency world and the large BTC owners will propose the new Bitcoin ETF in the next year. I think that fresh money can come to the crypto currency markets if Bitcoin's price will drop below $5900. I don't see any obvious negative or positive factors for the BTC price movement, so I assume that Bitcoin will be stable in the area of $6500. I don't expect and don't afraid of falling Bitcoin below its support levels. |

It is a pertinent quote. But you are better to work smart than to work hard. Embody your ideas as soon as possible, don't wait too long. This is a key to success. The good news is that the higher your financial intelligence, the more money you make without needing money. In this new capitalism, it is truly possible to make money for nothing.
Typically, people always wish to be richer than today, even they have sufficient wealth for living, but there is no new capitalism. Trivially saying, the crypto currency is just a new kind of investment assets based on secure mathematical operations and blockchain technology which is a distributed database. You need to buy promising coins that will grow in the future, and you can make money almost from nothing. |

I can add that the transactions of banks are reversible and Bitcoin's transactions are immutable. Yes, Bitcoin's fees are not so high today as they were in December 2017, and its network is clear of the spam transactions which likely made by Bitcoin's competitors. It should be noted that in June 2020 the reward for mining will be reduced from 12.5 BTC to 6.25 BTC for each mined block, so Bitcoin's fees probably will be increased, because miners will not accept transactions with a low commission. |

I don't think it depends on whether the token is erc20 or not. I think it all depends on the reason or purpose on why the token is created in the first place. Whatever the token is made of, if the creator's purpose is to scam people, it will be a scam but if not and it is made out of real purpose then it might end up successful.
You're right. ERC20 is just a technical standard for smart contracts of Ethereum. It should have functions like Transfer(), Approval(), etc. You can trust ERC20, because this technology is based on secure cryptography ECDSA. Each investor must pay attention to the project team before buying the ERC20-tokens they emitted. This is necessary in the ICO industry to prevent outright scams. |
