1861  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC-Technologies.com Legit? on: July 03, 2013, 10:31:41 PM
Cause this website is over 9000% scam.
1862  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASIC-Technologies.com Legit? on: July 03, 2013, 10:25:56 PM
You can also see that for 10 minutes it only sent 32 shares.
1863  Economy / Speculation / Re: I am fucking panicking on: July 03, 2013, 07:54:39 PM
Considering the downtrend, I also think about selling.
1864  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Delete/erase ALL bitcoin data on my computer on: July 03, 2013, 05:12:07 PM
Use RevoUnistaller, do a full clean which will remove all directories and registry entries.
Bitcoin-Qt stores NOTHING in the registry. Windows on the other hand may store some information of what was last run/installed though.
1865  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [ANN] txtool: Advanced transaction building on: July 03, 2013, 05:11:04 PM
Nodejs seems to be getting popular these days.
1866  Other / Off-topic / Re: Getting a wisdom tooth pulled. on: July 03, 2013, 02:42:39 PM
Can't say I am a regular brusher. My teeth have gotten yellow and some of them are see-through on the tips.
1867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot for nodejs on: July 03, 2013, 02:20:23 PM
On Bitstamp, using these settings

Quote
config.EMA = {
  // timeframe per candle
  interval: 60, // in minutes
  // EMA weight (α)
  // the higher the weight, the more smooth (and delayed) the line
  short: 10,
  long: 21,
  // amount of candles to remember and base initial EMAs on
  candles: 200,
  // the difference between the EMAs (to act as triggers)
  sellTreshold: -0.25,
  buyTreshold: 0.25
};

When the price was 87.50 it told me to buy, but obviously I didn't and next thing I know, the price is 84.98 so essentially it should have told me to sell.
1868  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: [EXPLANATION] Unknown output - Missing money - Change on: July 03, 2013, 10:06:39 AM
Great article!
1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Stolen BTC? on: July 03, 2013, 10:03:17 AM
That is the change.
1870  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Generate a bitcoin address in PHP WITHOUT GMP or BCMATH on: July 03, 2013, 10:01:28 AM
Private keys are essentially very big numbers, you would need these functions to handle them OR write yourself a custom PHP library to handle big numbers(apparently it's not that hard) and you will be OK.
1871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "51% actor or botnet could manipulate the source code of the bitcoin network" on: July 02, 2013, 09:30:31 PM
LOL, extreme fail right there.
1872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot for nodejs on: July 02, 2013, 01:47:18 PM
When real trading is enabled, is there some kind of limit I can impose on it so it uses a small amount of my money for trading instead of my whole balance?
Again, for Bitstamp.
1873  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: same public key on: July 02, 2013, 01:17:06 PM
You can't double money in bitcoin.

Yes you can, happened back in march Cheesy
Really? Is there more information on this?
1874  Other / Off-topic / Re: So what car should I buy? on: July 01, 2013, 11:04:37 PM
A motorbike
Not sure how that can be considered a four-wheel vehicle also known as a "car".
1875  Other / Off-topic / Re: So what car should I buy? on: July 01, 2013, 10:51:08 PM
How about something more Urban, I don't live in the desert you know.
1876  Other / Off-topic / So what car should I buy? on: July 01, 2013, 10:40:26 PM
So I live in Europe and have according to the exchange rate my country's fiat to USD is $1,335.47 which is 2000 units of my country's fiat. I know, not a lot of money in this day and age.

Honestly I really want to buy a silver BMW that looks slick and is as new as possible, but they cost three times what I have. It's hard to find a 318 let alone a 525 TDI.

I am looking for a Sedan-type car i.e http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Car_body_style#Saloons_.2F_sedans

Oh and while it may not be a lot to brag about, considering some people have $300k just to trade Bitcoins, but my Uncle's son has an Opel Insignia which costs quite a few $k.
1877  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [Newbie question] Wallets repeating ? on: July 01, 2013, 06:15:24 PM
Is it possible that when I create my wallet it will be created with the same security key as a wallet that was previously created and used? Wallets are created offline so how it checks if it isn't duplicated? Even if this is highly unlikely, is it possible?
It is possible, but as people said, highly unlikely. Bitcoin generates the private keys via a pseudo-random generator that uses various data from the OS as the seed(internally in OpenSSL).
1878  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Limited use proof of burn system on: July 01, 2013, 01:23:52 PM
This proof of burn system sounds a lot like the "Proof of Bitcoins Destroyed" idea I had a few months ago.
1879  Other / Off-topic / Re: kickstarter-like loan website in Ireland- with a total 'f*ck the banks' attitude on: July 01, 2013, 01:06:33 PM
Anyone can vouch for the site?
There could be some zero-day exploit on it, or even something else.
1880  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot for nodejs on: June 30, 2013, 10:52:36 PM
Is it me, or basically you must call Gekko every single time you want "advice"? I thought that it looped constantly and checking every few seconds what's up and reporting back, but I left it for a few minutes and saw nothing printed besides the initial information even with debug logging enabled.

This on Bitstamp.
