1861  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: collateral available , Need 40 BTC @20% PA repayable within 10-12 months on: March 17, 2015, 01:03:54 PM
If you don't offer proper collateral worth way more than BTC40 (which your collateral doesn't of course) all you'll get is negative trust. So either add collateral or close the thread now.
1862  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Would like to buy bitcoins with paypal on: March 17, 2015, 12:59:45 PM
i can do small amounts of .10 btc at a time, can send as service or digital prod, I had done trades with SHVB many times and wardrick.  I can pay 9 percent fee

I understand, does my account status say newbie?  or I havent done any trades?

You used WU with those transactions, not PP.

your point?  I still wanna use paypal so I wont have to convert money into the WU and pay WU fees

His point is PayPal can be charged back several months after the payment. WU can't.
For someone to deal with PayPal he needs to trust the buyer completely and of course a relatively new member with negative trust doesn't fulfill this requirement.
You need to trade with a non-reversible method using escrow.

I understand, does my account status say newbie?  or I havent done any trades?

It says 168 activity without PP trades and most importantly negative trust.
As I said, absolutely no chance you can buy with PayPal here.
1863  Other / Archival / Re: g on: March 17, 2015, 12:56:22 PM
Selling 1 Hero.Member with 490 activity.
Registered 2013. No pos/neg trust .Not hacked, No Loans...Escrow accepted.
Starting bid: 2BTC
Minimum increment: 0.5BTC

Auction ends 7 days after the first bid.

There's no chance to sell it for BTC2. In my opinion you should start the auction at BTC0.5 or BTC0.7 tops.

1866  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTS] Coupons 10$ on Ebay for payment from 15$ on: March 17, 2015, 12:41:11 PM

Will you use escrow or send first to trusted members? i.e. Let the user use the code by purchasing something before you get the payment?
1867  Economy / Services / Re: Professional Web Developer Required on: March 17, 2015, 12:39:20 PM
Hi,
I am not going to expand for now the details and scope of the project but I can summarize that we are looking to hire a web developer with a bitcoin experience.

If you feel that you fit into the above profile, please post some examples of previous projects together with your relevant experience.

Regards

ZNoor

I have a lot of experience on backend web development and bitcoind/JsonRPC.
For example I've made this among other things:
http://api.captcoin.com
https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=992464

Let me know more details about the project.
1868  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Checking new transactions with only the public address on: March 17, 2015, 12:34:36 PM
I'm guessing your mobile client won't handle the blockchain at all, right? Otherwise you could see new transactions there without a server.

To do it with a server you could install a full node and use the option
-walletnotify=<cmd>
Or -blocknotify=<cmd>
1869  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: New to Bitcoin - how to transfer bitcoins when Bitcoin-qt hasn't synchronised on: March 17, 2015, 03:47:02 AM
I've tried using https://blockchain.info/wallet/import-wallet and importing my wallet into it but it says 'Connection refused'

Are you sure you're importing the private key and not the address (which starts with 1)?
For security I recommend you to sweep the key instead of importing it.

If you keep having problems try Electrum. It's easy to use and secure.
1870  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: my blockchain wallet does not load on: March 17, 2015, 03:43:42 AM
Does it happen always? I've seen that problem but only twice, I just tried again and it was solved.
Do you have a lot of addresses? Maybe that's why it times out.
If you keep having problems you'll need to export your wallet to a desktop one. I think it's quite easy to move it to Multibit.
1871  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Add me on Skype chats please. I want to be informed of all the news and discussi on: March 17, 2015, 03:33:03 AM
Add me on Skype chats please. I want to be informed of all the news and discussions about BTC.
I want to participate in various projects BTC, and earn.

My skype: nick.rolt

Why would you want to be on Skype? Have you heard of bitcointalk? It's much better to keep up to date with bitcoin news and project.
1872  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling 0.15 btc for 48$ paypal on: March 17, 2015, 02:58:18 AM
I'm removing my positive feedback I had on his profile from a previous deal.
1873  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.05 btc needed on: March 17, 2015, 02:56:01 AM
My account is not enough as collateral?

No, it's not. You should cover about 150% or 200% of the loan for the loaner to take the risk and I don't think it reaches 100%.

How much I can loan with my account?

I can't improve jorjito25's offer. You may take it if that's enough for you.

I need a little higher amount. 0.03 btc is not enough.

You need to provide valid collateral to get your loan. Can you do that?
1876  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling 0.15 btc for 48$ paypal on: March 17, 2015, 01:15:44 AM

Hey, anyone that reads this.

yassine stole 30 Euro from me. Don't do business with this thieving cocksucker.

Did he ask you to send first without escrow?
You should leave a review in his profile and start a scam accusation.

Are you implementing your own faucet? I see just a list of ads now.
What kind of advice are you looking for?
1879  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to charge $30. in bitcoin? on: March 16, 2015, 11:11:57 PM
Here you go:
https://ecua.mobi/request-payment/

Enter your address and the amount (ex: 30) and click submit. You'll get the BTC amount updated every 10 minutes and the QR Code to show.
Double check the address and the value, I didn't add any validation yet. Just bookmark the result so you don't have to enter the params every time.

For example you'll get a bookmark like this:
https://ecua.mobi/request-payment/?address=17P7dLnJmsBqm2gMh6D4jxz2q5FL9XT5RU&amount=30
(Note this is my address, do change it)
1880  Economy / Services / Re: Tipping someone who sets up an Electrum server on my vps! on: March 16, 2015, 10:48:31 PM
I will tip someone a small amount to set up an Electrum server on my vps. You will be given root access on a clean install of Ubuntu.

I prefer someone doing this because they want to help the Bitcoin network.

I don't think this would help the BTC network considerably (unlike installing a full node).
What tip/reward would you give?

3 Mbtc and an Electrum server greatly helps. and an Eletrum server is running off a full node.

Is the full node already installed? Or it isn't and that's why you said it will help the BTC network?
