Looks like the investor profit just took a large blow. Luckily I noticed my invested value quickly plummeting and divested it all before the real damage occured. Must've been a large gambler who pulled off a lucky streak.

oh my. i just started investing!!! grr. well dont invest what you cant lose. so well hope it will turn better.

Such site is very dangerous. It can close without any notification. Most does not host responsibility and just wan to earn some quick cash. If cant work out, then too bad.

1872  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: September 30, 2015, 04:59:00 PM
I will go for bitcoin. Value in gold is going to be stable and low risk. Value in bitcoin is unimaginable- either all or none. I only live once so I go for bitcoin...

You are living once but when you loose your life could look longer that you expected.
The gold is older in the market and i think that it has some reputation and the price is stable and not like bitcoin.
By going investing in bitcoins you don't know if the price will go up or down but by July 2016 i think that it will be a jump.
1873  Other / Off-topic / Re: Will you quit your day job to go full time on bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 04:48:10 PM
why i must Quit from my real job ?
i can get 2 salary, main from real job and part time from bitcoin

Smiley

Getting 2 salaries is the best way but also it's hard to get most of both of them.
The percentage of unemployed people is increasing and i don't any good thing to leave as it is the main source maybe for living.
But if you can earn with bitcoin more than your main job then why not.
1874  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: OVERVIEW: BITCOIN HARDWARE WALLETS █████████████████ Secure your Coins on: September 30, 2015, 04:43:35 PM
I currently have a Keepkey and have done a review at https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1161827.0 any questions or issues and I will gladly answer them.

Since you have hands on experience would you pay $239 for a KeepKey?
Yes and no, if I had a large amount of bitcoin or cash then yes, if I was doing everything I could to gather as much BTC to hoard for investment reasons then possibly a Trezor and put the extra 140$ into btc. The keepkey is a really nice safe piece and seems a lot higher quality like it will last longer.

The price of 239 USD is extremely expensive even though worldwide shipping is included in the cost.
You can get ledger hardware for 10% of KeepKey price, or trezor for 99$.
I think that the trezor does it job, also the ledger is secured good enough if you can afford the price.
1875  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best bitcoin wallet? on: September 30, 2015, 04:21:49 PM
Currently using bitcoin core and blockchain.info. The security of your wallet does not depends on the wallet but on you.

The security of your wallet does depends from both sides.
It can be your fault for the wrong authorization like weak password or not implemented the Two factor strong authentication.
But the worst case when the web wallet goes offline or that website is shutdown and you can't control the bitcoins
1876  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 04:15:38 PM
I think best way is to buy some bitcoins and hold them for some time until the price of bitcoins are increased. We can also earn some bitcoins by joining some signature campaigns and avatar campaigns.

Yes, you can earn and grow your bitcoins by joining some signature campaign which is a good idea. But if you buy some bitcoins and hold them to increase the prices then you are blocking your money and there is no guarantee that for how much time you have to hold the bitcoins and what if the bitcoin prices started falling, in other words its risky too.

At the moment the best way to earn bitcoin here from the forum are the signature campaigns,
Then you can earn from Avatar + Personal Message campaign too.
And secondly you can earn from the giveaways and some easy task like tweet/retweet/review etc..
1877  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Have you tried XAPO debit card? on: September 30, 2015, 04:08:24 PM
I've ordered the card on 4th september and arrived on 11th september. It was issued in Giblaltar, so to send it to EU is not a big deal. I don't know if you order it from overseas, what is the difference in shipping time.
You should check the fees on the xapo website. In my case, there was one time cost (issuer fee) but purchase on POS terminals is free. ATM withdrawal has similar fees like the fiat cards' at my bank.
Interesting, that my firs purchase was a Coke for .99 EUR. Later on I have checked my transaction history and the purchase was .81 EUR (the bitcoin amount that was debited on my card was equal to less EUR when the payment had been cleared) Maybe it depends on the current BTC/EUR exchange rate, that can vary because of it's high volatility. It's possible that when I have payed with the card, the BTC was a bit weaker but later on when the payment had been cleared the BTC had gained strength and the same EUR had cost less BTC. If it's true, the opposite situation can also happen and if the BTC becomes weaker later on that coke could have cost me 1.11 EUR as well in the end.
As I have only used my card a few times since then, I'm not sure yet about the exchange process and about the process of the payment clearing.

Well it was about a week or a bit more to arrive. It was a few days time also when I have ordered the card and they sent me the confirmation email that the card has been issued and has sent to my address.
As I'm a newbie I'm not really familier with the different exchanges so I can't tell you the differences yet. I'll be a bit more experienced and I'll let you know. (But it's possible that by that time you'll have your own experience also) Smiley

Ok i will tell you how to do what i asked in the last post,
Firstly go to http://www.coindesk.com/price/ and check what is the price of bitcoin in usd and in eur
Secondly go to the xapo wallet and check the price of bitcoin to sell (not to buy) and tell us the results.
1878  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Multiple Signature Campaigns on: September 30, 2015, 03:43:09 PM
An example that it is allowed by the forum,
You just should ask the signature campaign manager if you are allowed to have another signature.
hilariousandco has it's own service stated in his signature and also the Primedice signature so both of them.

I'm not sure it will allowed when you ask to signature campaign company you want to wear other sig campaign, hilariousandco just put he's service. and i think it selected if you want to wear sig for your service.

You just have to ask the signature campaign owner/manager if he allows it or if he can just allow you only to put another signature in this case a person's service.
It is the same as the avatar, we have seen bit-x avatars where participants have their own avatars but also a line of bit-x avatar.
1879  Other / Off-topic / Re: 2016, The Year of Bitcoin? on: September 30, 2015, 02:56:44 PM
I think that in the beginning of the 2016 there will be not much difference from this year.
Maybe it can be increased but a small percentage, when will increase the price is when the block reward will be deducted for 50%
At that time the price of bitcoin can be boosted (pumped) and we will be happy Smiley
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you used Bitcoin as Real money to buy Real/physical goods? on: September 30, 2015, 02:54:47 PM
At least in my city there is no store that accepts bitcoins as the payment.
I would be happy if there will be one but it isn't, i need a good (i)phone and a good laptop but its hard to spend the bitcoins.
Even though there are some opportunities to use the bitcoin through the bitcoin debit cards but the fees are a bit high.
