I am having the same issue as i did a few days ago. But now it will not catch up. It has done this the last 2 days and just bounces back and forth but never syncs.

What makes you think dark will be saved?
1. The fact that itīs a genuine original in the opaque blockchain market which its competitors in that sector are not 2. The fact that it has genuinely distinguishing features at the commercial level (as opposed to just the technical level) which are able to justify its existence distinctly from Bitcoin or Litecoin 3. The fact that it has a lot of market cap to loose (4 times that of its nearest competitor in the privacy field) and thereīs not one single top 10 market cap candidate available to take its place which can be as readily plugged into the Bitcoin API infrastructure while supporting a thoroughly opaque address space 4. The fact that over the last week, DRKīs nearest competitor lost nearly 70% of its market cap while DRK lost less than 10% of its market cap 5. The fact that it now has in place a unique type of network infrastructure which - whatever oneīs opinion on its merits or weaknesses - opens up distinct development opportunities for the future Thats enough for me to think it will "be saved" as you put it. right as the drk is the future coin |

Just wanted to reiterate a point on how to spread the love for the VRC community. I created a meetup.com event within my city's bitcoin meetup group titled "Alt-coin meetup". After throwing it up there over the weekend looks like we already have 10 people coming to the meeting. Everyone is suppose to come to represent a coin that they support (I'm doing VRC) and I think if a few other people would jump on board and get one going in their city we can build a little momentum from it. Here was the exact message I posted to get people interested:
Hey everyone, I have been really excited over the last few months supporting the project/team that is working on Vericoin (ticker VRC). It got me to think - I would love to have a meetup where everyone who's into alternate coins (LTC, DOGE, BC, DRK, VRC - you name it) come and support their favorite alt-coin. Lets have an educated discussion on what it is their coin is working on and why they support the team.
Its that simple and has seem to already get a pretty good response in my group. Our meeting is scheduled for the first week of September so by that time I'm hoping to have 50-60 people attend.
Anyway, just a thought.
