I also believe that Newcastle united deserve to be in the top five and they still have enough time to improve their position, the gap between them and Tottenham is 4 points but Newcastle only played 25 matches while Tottenham played 27 match so they still have 2 matches to play, this will surely be a great opportunity for them to recover their place in the top 4 clubs
With that many points apart, there should still be a chance to get it by winning the next match against Nottingham Forest, and of course, Newcastle must win by many goals to get quite a lot of additional points. At least Newcastle must give all its strength to win in the upcoming match, and they also have to be ready because they will meet Manchester United because of course the possibility of winning is very small.
Tottenham under Antonio Conte has not been a consistent team. At the beginning of the season, football analysts tipped them as of the top contenders for the premier league title. But they lost concentration and lost some good points. Their champions league departure is also proof that they are underperforming. It's now time to focus on the EPL to get at least a champions league slot.

Newcastle has all the financial backup needed and two match advantage over Tottenham is a big boast because winning those two games will give them a two points gap over Tottenham. But until then let's just hope an English team wins the Champions League so that both teams will have the opportunity to play in the competition next season.

I am very glad that you have shown forum users not only your successful bets, but also the bets that led you to losses. In my opinion this is a good example to show that in betting as well as in gambling the outcome very often depends on luck and not only on the professionalism of the bettor.

Good luck to you and I hope you'll share more successes with us in the future!

Your message is now balanced mate. You have indeed done the right thing. When people saw the stories about your mega wins they assume that gambling is a win-win situation or game but showing us your losses has shown that one can also lose. When I read your first post I thought you were a scammer that wanted to attract people but from what you have shown now I should confess that I am wrong. I am also pleased to know that you refused to collect money from members to give them game tips, this is a very selfless act. I must say that you should keep up the good work and thank you for your advice on responsible gambling.

After big purchases and huge amounts of money spent by Chelsea, it is now time to sell some players.
This is the list of players that will be for sale and should leave in the next transfer window:

Pulisic
Sterling
Aubameyang
Kovacic
Chilwell
Mason Mount
Loftus-Cheek
Azpilicueta
Gallagher
Ziyech
Havertz

Source: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11854485/Chelsea-set-major-summer-clear-ELEVEN-players-leaving-club.html

What do you think guys?

Clearly Chelsea is putting together a super team for the near future, they have already bought new players, with young age, and now they are going to get rid of some players that haven't been playing well and are older, like Aubameyang and Azpilicueta for example.

Apart from Aubameyang, Ziyech and Pulisic other players shouldn't be allowed to leave the team. Chelsea have gotten new quality players but the old player also have great quality and should be part of the rebuilding. Azpilicueta is still effective and has a lot of experience that will be beneficial to the team. Ziyech is a good player but he wants to leave Chelsea and keeping him might not be the right decision because he will not give his best. Pulisic has to go because his position has now become very competitive. Mason Mount is asking for a massive increase in wages, so he might leave if the club fails to meet his demands. Keeping him will also be a plus to the team. I don't think the club is considering selling Chilwell because he is one of the best defenders in the premier league. Many clubs will be willing to buy a defender that score goals. Loftus-Cheek and Gallagher are good substitute that can also serve as a backup in case of injury and fatigue.
1865  Economy / Economics / Re: Lending money or damaging family bond ? on: March 13, 2023, 06:14:52 PM

Managing finances properly is key to our financial life, which is well known to each of us, I guess. I feel like this is in my bones so sometimes I make some decisions subconsciously. I recently ran into a situation where I found myself really awkward. Last July or August(I can't remember that clearly), one of my extended family cousin asked me for three thousand dollars as he lost his job and could not pay off his loans. I refuse to lend him the money cause I knew him well that he was not a solid trustworthy guy. A few days ago we met on a family reunion occasion and he did not really talk to me and I suddenly realized that it was because I didn't lend him money last year. I think about it twice and if he had not been that untrustworthy, I would have definitely lent him the money. Anyway, I hope he is doing fine now and best wishes to him.

Three thousand dollars is not a small money except you can afford to lose it. When you are dealing with money you don't consider relationship. You should only do business especially loans to only trustworthy and reliable people. If you know your cousin will not repay the loan don't give him except he offers a collateral. if he likes let him be angry that's his business because it is clear that you didn't offend him. If he really needs the money, let him approach a bank or other financial institutions.

OP why did you conclude that he is not trustworthy? Have you or someone else given him loan and he defaulted? Is this an established or based on hearsays because it is also good to assist people when they have financial problems.

You can't do without foolishness. Getting to know bitcoin will in any case be accompanied by some mistakes. Some will be stupid and some will be very stupid, but all of this will shape your personal experience and your personal knowledge of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin. Learning without experience with mistakes and stupid decisions won't work, although you should strive for that, but don't be intimidated by the fact that you did something wrong. In cryptocurrency, the best and most reliable knowledge is always obtained only through your own mistakes.

I started my journey about Bitcoin from this forum and if anyone that want to learn comes to this forum he will get many information. I will not say I have learned much about Bitcoin but I know I have gotten some experience. If someone wants to learn about bitcoin, I will gladly refer the person to bitcointalk. I don't want to make so much mistakes because it might result to some losses. That is why I want to learn from other member's experience. The experience of other members will serve as a guide. I also agree that I need to make my mistakes too.
1867  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Includes happiness and Bitcoin on: March 13, 2023, 05:26:35 PM
Access to crypto will become easier with the spread of Bitcoin and crypto money ATMs in Turkey. It was an incredible source of happiness for me to see a Bitcoin ATM for the first time where i live. It was an ATM located inside a central shopping mall. I hope this initiative which makes me very happy will take its place in all cities and ATM points.
It's worth celebrating mate. I have only seen his ATMs online and have never used it them. It's good to hear that Turkey supports the growth of Bitcoin. The spread of Bitcoin ATMs will be swift If more government remove the ban on Bitcoin operations. And the availability of these machine will promote the use of Bitcoin as a currency. Hoping to see mine someday.

Quote
I think we will see advanced versions of this ATM which is just a simple purchase and sale for now. The ATM has a language option and you can perform your transaction with your phone number.

From picture there are also options for buying and selling of bitcoin. I am also glad to know that this ATMs promotes privacy. One of my greatest attraction to Bitcoin is because it promotes anonymity to a large extent.
1868  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 12, 2023, 04:17:18 PM
I wouldn't recommend street gambling to anyone. You never can tell you it is that you're betting against which means your life could be at risk and also since there's no way for you to hide your identity that could also lead to the risk of you being followed back to your place and later getting robbed. If you look closely you will see that the people that usually engage in street gambling are either thugs or people that takes hard drugs ( at least that's how it is in my country ).
And because the risk is just too high I won't even consider going anywhere near it.

You are very correct bro. Street gambling has a bad reputation worldwide. It is associated with gangstars and criminals. There is no decency in it at all. I will not recommend anybody to be a street gambler. Law enforcement officers always burst these gambling areas to arrest these gamblers because they are seen a nuisance. No responsible person would be in the street gambling because their is high risk of attack or crime that might emerge from these games. It is more honourable to go to a house casino that is well organized and secured  because I have seen people die because of fights that broke out because of street gambling. Online gambling seems to be the best for me.
1869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: March 12, 2023, 03:56:06 PM
And I can see a big grin on the fans' faces as they watch Arsenal win three 0 already, with attacks coming from every angle. Gabriel Magalhaes scored two goals for Arsenal, and I always believe they will win. Meanwhile, Manchester United is still playing a draw, and Southampton is having a game of chances with lots of goal attempts. Good luck to Manchester United.
the match was already in the 80th minute, and what a game for Arsenal. Fulham had no chance to get a goal. there was only 1 shot on target out of the 8 chances they had. this will be a good win before the 2nd leg against Sporting. because the aggregate is still the same, Arsenal's chances of playing at home are better.

while MU did not play well enough. Casmiro is off due to a red card in the first half. quite difficult for MU to make a goal. but hopefully, there are surprises.

I doubt if Manchester United will be able to get a point from this match. They should count themselves fortunate of they don't experience a defeat on this game. I am sure the fans didn't expect this result but the red card changed everything and the team is just struggling to survive. But Manchester United proved to be a good team because they had more shots but the same goal on target with Southampton. It's full time now and the match ended goalless. A good result for the visiting team and a bad one for the host on Old Trafford.

While in Craven Cottage, Fulham just lost to the league leaders Arsenal. A wonderful performance by Mikel Arteta's side. Arsenal dominated in the match and would have scored more than three goals. I can't wait to see what this crop of players will do in the Champions league next season..
1870  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I have failed too severely, time to give up? on: March 12, 2023, 02:47:06 PM
Who said you have failed? You have not failed bro. because you did your best to introduce it to them. Your location and their level of education is affecting their level of reasoning. I guess you are staying in the rural area which means they are not really exposed to information technology.

It is not everyone that must accept or deal with Bitcoin. Bitcoin is not for everybody, it is just for a selected few for now. But you don't need to stop trying because you might meet someone that will be interested. I know you want to spread Bitcoin awarenesses but you should not be burdened with it. See it as fun and not a do-or-die affairs because it seems you are taking it too seriously. Accepting Bitcoin should be voluntary and not by compulsion.
1871  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What do politicians smokes? on: March 12, 2023, 02:06:41 PM
This set of people are dead in conscience and they never care about how other people feels, it's really baffling that political leaders are always after power, money and name than the lives of their citizens. They're brutal, deadly, corrupt and heartless, what kind initiations this people are in for? What do they smoke?
Your topic varies from the content of your post. Do you mean why politicians smoke cigarettes or use drugs? Or are you insinuating that they are heartless and wicked because of the use of drugs? I just can't explain what you are thinking. But from your writings it's clear that the government of your country is not leaving up to your expectations. I think you are going through a lot of pains and suffering. Politicians are generally selfish and don't care about the well-being of the people. But we have the responsibility of voting against them during elections. I want you to be hopeful that there might be a positive change in your country. All the best bro.
1872  Economy / Economics / Re: U.S. Lawmakers Reintroduce Bill to Force Crypto Miners to Disclose Emissions on: March 12, 2023, 01:46:31 PM
It's not bad to disclose the amount of emission that companies emit into the environment because it would help the environmental agencies to make policies. I also support this bill because health is better than wealth. But I also suggest that this laws should also affect other sectors. Americans should also be privileged to know the amount of emission other industries expose the society to. People will be surprise that other sectors contribute more to environmental pollution than Bitcoin mining. But it is also a wake up call to Bitcoin miners to move to more green energy sources because the government targets them more than other sectors.

And all those ATM machines going 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Nobody in Washington ever gives that a second thought.
Banks use 56 times more energy than Bitcoin energy consumption.

1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: March 11, 2023, 05:14:58 AM
Real Madrid must win to get additional points at the top of the standings, currently, the difference in points between Barcelona and Real Madrid is quite a lot, so Real Madrid really has to try a little harder. Espanyol shouldn't be difficult for Real Madrid, The important thing is they have to work well as a team in order to win.
The win against espanyol will change nothing. The only thing that can be expected from winning the game is getting full points and give pressure on the barcelona. Real madrid has been missing so many chances that happened before. The gap is too big right now. In my opinion, if espanyol will become a tough game for real madrid. I dunno why real madrid is always struggling so hard once it will be facing mediocre team in la liga. Real madrid could win easily against a team like liverpool. The fact that if EPL team could win easily against a mediocre team from la liga. The football is remain unpredictable for sure.

Ancellotti needs to do some rotation again. I think that ancellotti needs sometimes to change the formation with a new one by rotating its players.
It is difficult for big clubs to win against lowly placed teams in their league because most times these teams are familiar with their playing styles. It is possible that some of the players were teammates before so they know their strengths and weaknesses. Real Madrid is not doing badly this season considering that the club didn't spend like other top teams. But it will be very difficult for Real Madrid to win the league because Barcelona is focusing on La Liga after their untimely departure from the European Championship. Real Madrid will have to play with tired players. Nevertheless, a win against Espanyol will be a big plus for their quest to win at least a double this season.
1875  Economy / Economics / Re: The economic impact of the Ukrainian war on cryptocurrency on: March 11, 2023, 05:01:23 AM
The world is interconnected, hence the war affected all the sectors of the global economy. Money that would have been used for investment and economic development has been channeled to finance the war. The war also led to an increase in the prices of some important goods such as gas and crude which harmed the world economy.  Many businesses collapsed and others were downsizing which led to a massive sack of workers. These events affected the crypto ecosystem negatively.

But the war also increased cryptocurrency awareness globally. Due to the collapse of some financial institutions and the quest to access an alternative source of receiving funding to finance the war and its effect, Ukraine began to accept cryptocurrency donations. While in a bid to invade sanctions and their effect, Russians are turning to cryptocurrencies.
1876  Economy / Economics / Re: If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: March 11, 2023, 04:37:13 AM
SVB recorded six straight quarterly losses, why didn't these financial gurus fix the bank? Yet they claim to be the only solution.

Because it really isn't the job of the economists or 'gurus' to prevent a certain bank from going insolvent — it's the CEO, the team in general, and the board of directors' jobs.

But some of these CEO and board of Directors claim that they have wealth of experience in financial matters. The way they attack cryptocurrency firms will make one believe that they have all the solutions and are infallible.

1878  Economy / Economics / If they have the solution, why are banks still failing? on: March 11, 2023, 04:11:58 AM
The stock of Silicon Valley Bank, one of the biggest banks in the US collapsed to 65% before trading was halted. This is the largest bank failure since the 2008 financial crisis.
The bank's parent failed to get a buyer making the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation close Silicon Valley Bank and appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation as receiver. Customers were scared and began to pull out their funds to avoid unforeseen circumstances.

Economists are warning that the fall of SIVB might spread and have a bad effect on the entire banking sector. The shares of many banks in the US and Europe dropped because of this incident.  According to Reuter U.S. banks have lost over $100 billion stock market value in two days, with European banks losing around another $50 billion in value.

I have always seen bad news about the cryptocurrency industry making headlines in national and international newspapers. The government and bankers criticize the industry and portray the banks as the only remedy to the financial problems of the world. SVB recorded six straight quarterly losses, why didn't these financial gurus fix the bank? Yet they claim to be the only solution.

1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 09, 2023, 07:58:03 AM
AC Milan has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. They won the first leg and drew the second leg against Tottenham. While the team has played well enough in the Champions League, their performance in Serie A has been poor. They have lost two of their last five matches. I think Milan's aim now is to do well in the Champions League. However, Milan does not have a squad capable of doing well on a platform like the Champions League. AC Milan has no chance of winning the Serie A title. Now their aim should be to qualify for the Champions League. But if their performance doesn't improve, they won't be among the top four in the points table.

AS Milan's performance is not as bad as Chelsea of England that also qualified for the Quarterfinals. The have a good squad and can still compete favourably in both the league and the UCL. If AC Milan's players are not injured althrough this season they might be able to get at least one trophy this eason if they keep improving. From what I saw yesterday in the match against Tottenham, although they missed a whole lot of opportunities they played well. Milan should be focused on their match against Salernitana, this team might be in 16th position in the league but they shouldn't be underated.
