1861  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: April 21, 2019, 06:09:36 AM
I'm overly confident that Bitcoin is going to rebound more powerful than ever. A lot of bitcoins have been accumulated in this long bear market and consolidation period. Don't get me wrong, we could still go down on the short to medium timeframe, but on a 1-2 year period I think we'll see enormous steps made by BTC.
1862  Economy / Economics / Re: Can bitcoin be worthless? on: April 21, 2019, 06:06:57 AM
In theory that could happen, but I believe it has very low chances to become worthless. I mean just take into account the huge amount of funds that go into mining. Then take the technology aspects of Bitcoin that are already revolutionizing the world. Moreover institutional investors like JP Morgan already got their hands on some coins and won't let the value go too low.
1863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not invest in ICO anymore. Do not Feed scammers on: April 21, 2019, 06:01:34 AM
There have been some really good and profitable ICOs, but a lot of scams as well indeed. What I believe is that an investor should always do its own thorough research on the project he wants to invest in. You might have had some unpleasant experience with ICOs and that is totally understandable, but I think it is a bit extreme to not even at least check out the propositions of ICOs.
1864  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Trading, campaigns, gambling or mining? on: April 20, 2019, 07:27:57 PM
Trading is risky if you don't know the craft and you need some decent capital to make a living from it.
Campaigns are a good way to earn some cryptocurrencies but won't be enough to leave a job. Far from it I would say.
Gambling is ALWAYS just for fun. Only play with what you can afford to lose.
Mining is a good choice if you have access to cheap electricity and you have a nice cold place to host your miners.
I wish you good luck!
1865  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How did you end up with shit coins? on: April 20, 2019, 07:12:45 PM
Especially in the early times I've got all my shitcoins from bounty campaigns. After that I've become a trader and investor so I've started to get them from ICOs or directly from the market to speculate on them.  We are in a consolidation period now so the prices don't really reflect the technology advancements that took place recently. I can't wait for a full-fledged bull market to see the market reaction.
1866  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do you see cryptocurrency 10 years from now? on: April 20, 2019, 07:09:48 PM
I believe that if we teleport 5 years from now over 90% of stores will accept some kind of cryptocurrency as a payment method, most if not all of the nations will have reserves in bitcoin and maybe their own stable cryptos. In my opinion the next 5 years will be critical for crypto. We will see major changes in the world and a great upgrade to all the industries especially on the financial one. The banking system will be transformed from the ground up and satoshi will be a usual word in our vocabulary.  Grin
1867  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: April 20, 2019, 07:00:52 PM
You can do arbitrage, but the market is full of bots that act much faster on opportunities presented by market than the human brain. Anyway if you have good risk management and you know a bit of technical analysis you can be profitable even if you encounter some losses here and there. Remember it is important to cut your losses short and let your profits run.
1868  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: should i continue trading ? on: April 20, 2019, 06:58:22 PM
First of all very few people can handle the stress and pressure of being a real trader. By real I mean making a living out of it. Especially if you are a daytrader you need to watch the markets for several hours depending on your strategy and actually be focused on the price action. You can't just look at a screen, you have to "sync" with the market, with what it says to you. You should continue trading only if you can control your emotions and master technical analysis and risk management. If this is what you want to do in your life and you like you should definitely go for it. It is said that every big trader lost his account once so why wouldn't you? lol just joking on the last line
1869  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why you buy Cryptocurrency ? on: April 20, 2019, 06:48:37 PM
I purchase cryptocurrency mainly as an investment but as I am a visionaire I always get more involved in what I invest. If I find a project that I consider it is worth my time and money I will go through fire and stone for it because I have a strong due dilligence process so I assess every investment thoroughly.
1870  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you need cash for everyday use? on: April 20, 2019, 03:36:36 PM
I use cash for most of my small shopping like getting snacks, groceries, beverages at bars, club entry, office stuff, etc. But that is mostly because most businesses don't accept cryptocurrencies as a method of payment yet so the answer to your questions is an obvious yes!
1871  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do Not be Greedy on: April 20, 2019, 03:33:56 PM
You should use technical analysis when looking to take profits. My saying is " Do not get greedy when it is not the case to do so!". If you get multiple signals that this trend is going to continue you should set an appropiate stop loss using TA and let your profits run!
1872  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TRADEPRO IS COMING WITH SHADOW TRADING TOP TRADERS AND BOT RUNNERS on: April 20, 2019, 02:24:49 PM
So it is going to be a trading platform from where you trade on several other exchanges and will also feature copy-trading or social trading. That is very interesting indeed! Looking forward to see the full release!  Shocked
1873  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun stuff to do with bitcoin? on: April 20, 2019, 02:14:24 PM
I remember the first years of bitcoin's life. There were so many things to do and learn: mining, faucets, wallets, blockchain visualizations, etc.

Nowadays the bitcoin world is pretty boring: mining is for people with deep pockets, faucets don't exist anymore, wallets are getting centralized by big corporations (blockchain.com, coinbase, etc.).

Is there anything fun left to do with bitcoin, any specific application, website, app, anything that will make bitcoin fun and interesting again? Otherwise I just keep on holding and that's it.

Haven't your heard of trading with leverage? lol If you want to have fun go on a gambling website but don't play with what you cannot afford to lose. Wink I have heard that Bitmex or Deribit are excellent places to have fun while trading your favorite cryptocurrency and you even have up to 100x leverage which will pump your heart pretty hard  Grin Grin

1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MOBU - The Security Token Protocol and Licensed Security Token Exchange on: April 20, 2019, 08:06:48 AM
I think the deadline for the public ICO was 29th April if I remember good, but they could extend this with this new private fundraising. However I hope they will come up with an update soon. I am really excited about their platform and what is going to be built upon it  Cool
1876  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: April 20, 2019, 08:01:49 AM
We really need Amazon to start accepting Bitcoin as payment again.

Has anyone heard anything in this space?

Amazon is one of the biggest retailers in the world. If they start accepting Bitcoin it would be huge for the adoption aspect. It would set the standard and the other big retail chains will surely follow their initiative. I hope this will happen sooner than later.
1877  Economy / Economics / Re: Is small business ready to sell for cryptocurrency? on: April 19, 2019, 08:50:48 PM
This summer I'm going to open up a fashion ecommerce store and I'm going to accept BTC as a payment method through a processor. I am excited to have a business that contributes to the adoption of cryptocurrencies.
1878  Economy / Economics / Re: what makes us good investors. on: April 19, 2019, 08:48:44 PM
Learn some technical and fundamental analysis and you will be a great investor. But as always you need proper risk management and the ability to control your emotions. Bad and good emotions can both be damaging for your investment decisions. Remember that euphoria sometimes can be as bad as fear.  Wink
1879  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2019 BITCOIN Price? on: April 19, 2019, 08:38:07 PM
We could remain stucked consolidating for a while more. But I believe that in 2020 we'll surely try for a new ATH. That is inevitable unless a big black swan event comes out. Personally I'd accumulate as much as possible until we can still buy at these prices. $5k will look so cheap besides $100k  Wink
1880  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Safest and Most Reliable Exchange to Sell Alt Coins ? on: April 19, 2019, 06:24:42 PM
You have Bitcoins and you want to sell altcoins? If you want to trade altcoins the two best exchanges are Binance and Bittrex imho. But if you want to trade with leverage Deribit, Bitmex or Bitfinex would be much better choices. Most major exchange are considered safe, but you must be ready for a black swan event. Like a genius hacker emptying the accounts or who knows..
